  • Because output of multi-code CDMA system adapted high speed data transmission becoming multi-level system use linear amplifier in output stage and complex output signal. Therefore, Multi-Code CDMA system has shortcoming of high price, high complexity etc.. Binary CDMA technology that allow fetters in existing CDMA technology to supplement this shortcoming proposed. In binary CDMA system When correlator process high speed data, bottle-neck phenomenon is happened on synchronization acquisition process, it is very important parameter. Because existent correlator must there be advantage that power consumption is small but flow addition of several stages to receive correlation's value, the processing speed has disadvantage because the operation amount is much. Therefore in this paper, proposed correlator has characteristic such as data is able to high speed processing, chip area is independent and power consumption is constant in structure in binary CDMA system.

  • This paper proposes a new approach to provide RF communication channel and electric power transmission to overcome the weakness of conventional tests, which may cause several problems. When an RF communication device is used to communicate between launch vehicle and launch complex in stead of using harness umbilical, it may draw the simplicity of ground test equipments, cost-saving, and the reduction of test time. In addition, if an RF power transmission device is adopted to supply on-board power of launch vehicle, it can replace expensive on-board batteries, which may be degraded easily by the repeated charging and discharging processes.

  • This communication is to elucidate the state-of-the-art of techniques necessary to gather information on a new class of nanoelectronic devices known as memristors and related resistive switching devices, respectively. Unlike classical microelectronic devices such as transistors, the chemical and structural variations occurring upon switching of memristive devices require cutting-edge electron microscopy techniques. Depending on the switching mechanism, some memristors call for the acquisition of atomically resolved structural data, while others rely on atomistic chemical phenomena requiring the application of advanced X-ray and electron spectroscopy to correlate the real structure with properties. Additionally, understanding resistive switching phenomena also necessitates the application not only of pre- and post-operation analysis, but also during the process of switching. This highly challenging in situ characterization also requires the aforementioned techniques while simultaneously applying an electrical bias. Through this review we aim to give an overview of the possibilities and challenges as well as an outlook onto future developments in the field of nanoscopic characterization of memristive devices.

  • Stay-cable is one of the most important load carrying members in cable-stayed bridges. Monitoring structural integrity of stay-cables is crucial for evaluating the structural condition of the cable-stayed bridge. For stay-cables, tension and damping ratio are estimated based on modal properties as a measure of structural integrity. Since the monitoring system continuously measures the vibration for the long-term period, data acquisition systems should be stable and power-efficiency as the hardware system. In addition, massive signals from the data acquisition systems are continuously generated, so that automated analysis system should be indispensable. In order to fulfill these purpose simultaneously, this study presents an autonomous cable monitoring system based on domain-knowledge using IoT for continuous cable monitoring systems of cable-stayed bridges. An IoT system was developed to provide effective and power-efficient data acquisition and on-board processing capability for Edge-computing. Automated peak-picking algorithm using domain knowledge was embedded to the IoT system in order to analyze massive data from continuous monitoring automatically and reliably. To evaluate its operational performance in real fields, the developed autonomous monitoring system has been installed on a cable-stayed bridge in Korea. The operational performance are confirmed and validated by comparing with the existing system in terms of data transmission rates, accuracy and efficiency of tension estimation.

  • Heritage timber structures represent the history and culture of a nation. These structures have been inherited from previous generations; however, they inevitably exhibit deterioration over time, potentially leading to structural deficiencies. Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) offers the potential to assess operational anomalies, deterioration, and damage through processing and analysis of data collected from transducers and sensors mounted on the structure. This paper reports on the design and implementation of a long-term SHM system on the Feiyun Wooden Pavilion in China, a three-story timber building built more than 500 years ago. The principles and features of the design and implementation of SHM systems for heritage timber buildings are systematically discussed. In total, 104 sensors of 6 different types are deployed on the structure to monitor the environmental effects and structural responses, including air temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction, structural temperatures, strain, inclination, and acceleration. In addition, integrated data acquisition and transmission subsystem using a newly developed software platform are implemented. Selected preliminary statistical and correlation analysis using one year of monitoring data are presented to demonstrate the condition assessment capability of the system based on the monitoring data.

  • A receiver ASIC for fiber optic modules of STM-1 optical communication has been fabricated with 0.65 $\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS technology. The ASIC has a limit amplifier circuit for the 155.52 Mbps data reshaping, and a clock extraction circuit for the 155.52 MHz clock recovery. The ASIC has an acquisition aid and LOS monitoring circuit for properly operation with near 155.52 MHz clock frequency in case of the data loss due to transmission line open or data transfer fail. Measured results show that the circuit reshapes data from 5 mV to 1 V wide range of input voltage condition, add it recovers system clock with stable on any condition.

  • According to the development and wide use of broad band internet etc., diverse application technologies using large capacity data such as images have been progressed and in these systems, for accurate acquisition and precise applications of an original signal, the degradation phenomenon generated in the transmission process etc. should be removed. Noises have become known as the main cause of the degradation phenomenon and especially Gaussian noise represents characteristics occurring dependently in image signals and degrades detail information such as edge. In this paper, we removed Gaussian noise using a subdivided nonlinear function according to a threshold value and analyzed the histogram acquired from an edge image to establish a threshold value adaptively, and strengthened detail information of image by using the postprocessing. In simulation results, the proposed method represented excellent performance from comparison of MSE with existing methods.

  • Current power systems are distributed geographically and operated in the form of Energy Management System(EMS)/ Supervision Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA) with the aid of computers and communications. Recently a variety of utilities have had interests in using inforrration technology to bring the efficiency and low operational costs. There is also a trend to integrdte the production, transmission, distribution and management/control of power into one and unified distributed system. To this end, Electric Power Hesearch Institute(EPRI) announced a new standard communication protocol called Inter-Control Center Protocol(ICCP).ICCP specifies the use of Manufacturing Message Specification(MMS) for services required by rccr in application layer and supports the communications between heterogeneous control centers. This paper presents the characteristics of MMS,ICCP and their relationship. Futherrnore, we implement the basic functional blocks of ICCP using MMS services under TCI/IP environments. Finally, we model a simple power system and apply the rccp protocol to this system in a window-based scheme, and finally show the operation and validation of this protocol.
