트레드밀 운동 속도에 따른 유방의 운동학적 변화 연구 (The kinematics of breast displacement by the treadmill activity levels)

  • This research sought to analyze the characteristics of breast movement at the treadmill activity levels. It also examined the effect of wearing a sports bra in reducing breast displacement. The subjects for the data collection were females in their 20s (n=2) with C-cup size breast. The experimental conditions were three different moving speeds (4 km/h, jogging: 7 km/h, and sprinting: 10 km/h) and two types of sports bras. Three dimensional breast displacement was measured. The displacement of the right nipple point was measured with a 3D motion analyzer. The results show that the breasts were greatly displaced from the walking speed (4 km/h) when subjects did not wear any bra. Whereas their breast displacement distance decreased remarkably when they wore sports bras. The nipple point moved 42~44 mm in the vertical direction at walking speed with naked condition. But it was reduced by 80% after wearing sports bras. When subjects running (7 km/h, 10 km/h) without any bra, the nipple point moved 122~141 mm. However it was reduced by 60~70% when they wore sports bras. The apartment time (time delay) between at the highest point of the upper body and the nipple was 0.25 seconds at the running speeds (7 km/h, 10 km/h) without wearing any bra. After wearing sports bras, the time delay was cut to 0.06~0.12 seconds. These results implies that without wearing any bra the skin surrounding the breasts might be seriously pulled at running activity. The functional sports bra suppress breast movement. It might prevent the sagging of breasts by preventing the damage of the Cooper's ligaments.

실내 시공시 손상시험에 의한 HDPE 지오멤브레인의 기계적 특성 및 응력균열거동 해석 (Analysis of Mechanical Properties and Stress Crack Behavior of HOPE Geomembranes by Laboratory Installation Damage Test)

  • 표면이 매끄럽고 돌기가 있는 2가지 HDPE 지오멤브레인 덤벨형 시료에 두께 10% 간격으로 10~90% 깊이의 노치를 가하여 실험에 사용하였다. ISO 10722에 의거하여 부가하중 횟수를 변화시켜 시공시 손상의 실내 모사시험을 HDPE 지오브레인에 실시하였으며, 부가하중 횟수가 시공시 손상에 미치는 영향을 비교하였다. 항복응력과 변형률은 노지 깊이가 커짐에 따라 감소하였다. 손상된 그리고 노치를 가한 지오멤브레인을 응력균열시험에 사용하였으며, $50{\pm}1^{\circ}C$에서 pH 4와 12 용액에 침지시켜 항복응력 변화에 따른 응력균열저항성을 NCTL 시험을 통하여 고찰하였다. 인장 강도의 35% 이상에서 지오멤브레인은 응력균열에 취약함을 나타냈으며, 손상을 받은 그리고 노치를 가한 지오멤브레인 모두 같은 경향을 나타내었다. 특별히 노치를 가한 지오멤브레인의 경우 각각의 응력균열 조건에서 시공에 의해 손상된 지오멤브레인보다 낮은 강도를 나타내었다.

현대패션에 나타난 언캐니 이미지의 표현방법 (Expressive Methods of Uncanny Image in Contemporary Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the expression methods of uncanny images shown in contemporary fashion through the visual expression methods of plastic arts. The study results are as following. First, there is a concept-forming element of 'The return of Repressed', which is a psychological mechanism for generating uncanny sets to the component of 'repression' and 'return'. 'Repression' herein consisted of 'unconsciousness', 'the other', and 'anxiety', while the return was composed of 'trauma' and 'repetition compulsion'. Second, there are visual expression methods of the uncanny in contemporary art. The subject of 'repressed things' was expressed as grotesque and having a terrible look. 'Fragmented body' was analyzed as 'dismantling' by mutilation, 'combination' placing cut body parts in other places, and 'damage' suffering from an illness or accident. 'Fear of death' was shown as 'anatomy' reminiscent of death and 'iconography of death' meaning return of the dead. 'Post-human' was a surrealistic being such as a monster and mechanized human, and was analyzed as 'gene variation' and 'cyborg'. Third, the methods of visual expression of the uncanny reflected on contemporary fashion was analyzed as 'fragmented body', 'fear of death', and 'post-human'. 'Fragmented body' appeared as the object reminiscent of the fragmented body, 'dismantling and combination of the body', and 'damage of the body' through the distortion of the clothing construction principle. 'Fear of death' visualized the characteristic elements of the subject reminiscent of death as 'iconography of death' and 'symbolic object of death' through the motif. 'Post-human' was the description of the subject beyond the body's function and form, and was shown as 'gene variation' and 'cyborg'.

탄소성유강화플라스틱으로 만들어진 소형 인장 시험편에서 여러 종류의 심재에 따른 파손 연구 (Fracture Study due to Various Core at Compact Tension Specimen Made of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic)

  • 현대 사회에서 의식주 중에서 구조물이나 운송수단은 중요한 역할을 가진다. 만약 구조물이나 운송수단에 작은 크랙이라도 생기고 크랙이 진전되면 그 부품들이 파괴되어 큰 사고를 야기할 수 있다. 이러한 상황을 방지하기 위한 본 연구에서는 크랙의 진전에 따른 파손 경향을 조사하기 위하여 시험편을 이용하였다. CT 시험편의 재질로는 요즘 각광받는 복합재료인 단방향 탄소섬유 강화플라스틱을 사용하였다. 시험편 모델은 단방향성 섬유로서 적층각도를 주었고 적층각도는 [60/-60/60/-60]순으로 지정하였다. 해석 조건으로는 하단부의 홀을 고정시킨후 상단부 홀을 15mm의 강제 변위를 가하였다. 본 연구 결과로는 구조용 강, 구리, 티타늄, 알루미늄 순으로 등가응력과 전단응력이 높게 나왔다. 이러한 결과는 이종재료로 만들어진 CT 시험편의 파손을 검증하는 데 유용하게 사용될 수 있다고 사료된다.

고강도 콘크리트 구조부재의 폭렬 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Explosive Spalling Properties of High Strength Concrete Structure Member)

  • This study, in order for perceiving the mechanical attribute followed by the explosive spalling of high strength concrete material under high temperature and evaluating capacity of endurance of material, targets understanding capacity of endurance of material such as explosive spalling in high temperature, temperature by thickness of clothing, transformation extent, transformation speed and displacement, stocking the maximum load based on the Allowable Stress Design Method. As a result of experimenting the explosive spalling attribute of high strength concrete material, the one possibly causing serious damage is the 50 MPa concrete. In all aspects of 60 MPa concrete, explosive spalling happens. Especially, it is hazardous enough to reveal all the iron bar. All explosive spalling is intensively concentrated on the surface of concrete for the first $5{\sim}25$ minutes, which urges for the explosive spalling protection action. As a result of evaluating the structural safety by the transformation of high strength concrete, while beam assures the fire safety meeting regulation, 60 MPa shows the dramatic increase of transformation, which only counts 84% of safety. In a column, both the concrete exclusion and excessive explosive spalling are concentrated upper part of column, which brings about the dramatic transformation, so it only meets the 50% of safety regulation. Likewise, in 80, 100 MPa concrete which was never experimented considering the condition of domestic structural endurance stocking devices, the faster collapse is expected.

A Study on the Development of Sensor-Based Smart Wappen System -Focus on UV Sensor and Gas Sensor-

  • The objective of this study was to develop a wearable systems that protect users, based on sensors that are easy to use, from accidents caused by harmful gases in the operator's poor working environment or the risk of ultraviolet rays during outdoor activities. By developing smart wappen with Light Emitting Diode (LED) light alarm function including UV sensor and gas sensor and central processing unit, systems that are applied to daily wear and work clothes to explore the possibility of user-centered, harmful environment monitoring products in real time were proposed. Each sensor was applied to sportswear and work clothes and the wappen system consisted of lightweight and thin form as a whole. Wappen to cover the device had one sheet cover on the front and another cover from the inside to form a sandwich like formation. Wappen was made in the same form as regular clothes that doesn't damage the exterior then a removable wappen system was developed using Velcro and snap methods to enable the separation of device or the exchange of batteries. De-adhesion method can occur in two ways, from the outside and from the inside, so the design is selected depending on the application. This study shows the significance of the development of sensor-based smart clothing, in that it presented a universal model for users.

유물 복원을 위한 실크 직물의 알칼리에 의한 열화 특성 연구 (A Study on the Alkaline Degradation Properties of Silk Fabrics for Costume Heritage Restoration)

  • Costume heritages of an excavated silk fabrics should be preserved without damage. In order to artificially restore the excavated silk fabrics, alkaline aqueous solution, as a simulated corpse, and two kinds of silk fabrics were used. Two kinds of silk fabrics were treated by aqueous alkaline solution according to strength retention value(100, 80, 60, 40, 20$\%$). The fine structure and physical properties of alkaline treated silk fabrics were investigated with various techniques such as wide-angle X-ray diffraction, tensile test, weight loss, shrinkage, SEM. and yellowness. As the alkaline treatment time increased tensile strength of silk fabrics decreased. However, weight loss and shrinkage slightly increased. The diffraction intensity of $\beta-form$ crystal declined and $\alpha-form$ crystal diffraction intensity disappeared with the treatment.

상원사목조문수동자좌상 복장 명주홑저고리의 보존처리 (The Preservation Treatment of Unlined Silk Jeogori Found at the Wooden Munsudongja Buddha Statue in the Sangwon Temple)

  • The significance of this study is the demonstration of a new method of preservation procedure for national-treasure-class cultural-assets by examining the characteristics of the Jeogori relic, presumed to be that of King SeJo, and validating the preservation process. This Jergori as well as the wooden Munsu-donja Buddha statue from which they were found are designated as national treasure. The Jeogori relic is made of light silk and dimensions mark 77 cm in length, 67 cm in width, and 94 cm in sleeve length. It is a typical Jeogori worn in the Chosun Dynasty. Preservation procedure was in the following order: Removing dust and pollutants by vacuum, washing, removing creases, reinforcing the clothes, settling at paulownia backboard, and packing. Storage and exhibition of remains was executed with as minimal folding as possible, and microbiological damage prevention was performed by dyeing antibacterial treatment with eugenol onto supporting cloth. The relic, conservatively treated in accordance with the above procedure, is currently kept at the storage facility of the citadel Museum in the Woljeong Temple. It is displayed annually to the general public for approximately two weeks.

A Study on Examples of Eco Design Approach: Focused on Taller Flora

  • This study aims to develop the 21st century eco design-based fashion products by examining Taller Flora products and presenting eco design approaches. Eco design terms were examined based on literature, and Taller Flora products were explored based on literature and websites. The following research issues were discussed. First, eco design terms are totally handled, thus defining the eco design. Second, eco design-oriented Taller Flora products are examined to explore design approaches. Eco design aims to conserve and heal the global environment with focus on a greater understanding of and interest in nature. As such, eco design is based on a new modern concept of aestheticism that seeks to minimize environmental damage caused by the three processes of production and distribution use and disposal, to take social and moral responsibilities for such activities, and to avoid hurting the environment. Taller Flora brands seek to produce products by keeping close ties with indigenous communities in various nations, and by emphasizing and embracing indigenous people's craftsmanship spirit and creativity Indigenous people use eco-friendly materials and produce products with craftsmanship spirit, and their cooperation by linking different cooperative networks is a good model for strengthening fair trade networks. These addresses the problem of expanding design work through traditional crafting. Therefore, the features of Taller Flora brands presented a new method to approach the eco fashion. The research findings are expected to help develop the eco design of fashion products.

  • 1) Table salt (=NaCl=common salt=salt) is scientifically characterized, and the significant role in dietary and daily life has generally been discussed from the standpoint of human ecology. 2) In dietary life, salt fundamentally gives a deliciousness to dishes and nutro-physiologically functions to keep homeostasis in the body. Meanwhile, the excessive intake of salt often causes the high blood pressure and induces several fatal diseases. 3) In daily life, salt derivatives(Na-, Cl-compound) are quite useful widely over food, clothing and housing. Meanwhile, some of them especially organochlorine compounds often pollute the environment and damage the humans and or ecology as so-called environmental hormone resulting in dioxins. 4) For the ambivalence of salt in health and environment, humans, but not salt, are wholly responsible. The fact would go not only to salt but also generally to resources on the earth. 5) Humans should adequately be moderate in utilizations and consumptions of salt and or resources. Everything must be kept with in bounds. This conception would surely bring the stable maintenance and the sound development to the system of human ecology as well as global ecology.
