The Estimation of Torque Ripple According to Parameters Considered Time-varying in Voltage Equation (전압방정식에서 시변성이 고려된 파라미터에 의한 토크 리플 산정)

  • In this paper, the calculation torque using the d-q axis has advantage like faster execution time. However, the torque ripple can't be considered in the torque calculation using d-q axis equivalent circuit because the time-dependent component is removed. When d-q transformation was performed, it was founded that some parameters has some characteristics. These characteristics were considered for representing torque ripple. The calculation with d-q axis transformation and Finite Element Analysis(FEA) were performed, and the results were compared. As a result, it was validated that the calculated torque can be expressed with ripple.

  • This paper deals with analysis of d, q-axis inductance and experimental validation of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM). Using AC standstill test, d, q-axis inductances are obtained in each current value. In these results are compared and analyzed with 2-d finite element analysis (FEA) to validate this paper.

  • The inaccurate model parameters in the predictive current control of surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (SMPMSM) affect the current dynamic response and steady-state error. This paper presents a model parameter correction algorithm based on the relationship between the errors of model parameters and the static errors of dq-axis current. In this correction algorithm, the errors of inductance and flux are corrected in two steps. Resistance is ignored. First, the proportional relations between inductance and d-axis static current errors are utilized to correct the error of model inductance. Second, the flux is corrected by utilizing the proportional relations between flux and q-axis static current errors under the condition that inductance is corrected. An experimental study with a 100 W SMPMSM is performed to validate the proposed algorithm.

  • It is proposed that the rotor time constant and inductance are compensated at the same time in the indirect vector control method of an induction motor. The proposed scheme compensates the rotor time constant using the difference between the Q-axis real stator current and estimated current that is calculated from the terminal voltage and current, and compensates inductance by using the difference between the D-axis real stator flux and estimated stator flux in the synchronous rotating reference frame. Although the rotor time constant and inductance vary at once, the proposed method compensates the rotor time constant and inductance with accuracy. In addition to, two variables can be compensated not only at the steady state condition, but also at the transient state, where the torque varies in a rectangular pulse waveform. Therefore, the performance of vector control is greatly improved as verified by experiment.

  • This paper deals with the characteristic analysis & optimum design of Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor(PMASynRM) for Premium Efficiency Performance. The focus of this paper is characteristic analysis of d and q-axis inductances and torque according to magnetizing quantity of interior permanent magnet for PMASynRM. The d and q-axis current component ratios, load angles of a PMASynRM are investigated quantitatively on the basis of the proposed analysis method and the experimental test. Comparisons are given with output characteristic curves of PMASynRM and those according to the rated wattage in PMASynRM, respectively. And optimum design of PMASynRM is performed by Response Surface Methodology(RSM).

  • In this paper, torque characteristics analysis of Synchronous Reluctance Motor with the cylindrical rotor type by winding function theory(WFT) is described. The stator is same as one of the induction motor. From the d-axis, q-axis flux density distribution, to calculate self and mutual inductances needed to calculate the torque of the machine by using winding function theory the new equivalent geometry of rotor was proposed. D-axis, q-axis flux densities, self inductance and torque characteristics were obtained. From the comparison with results of finite element analysis the proposed method was verified.

  • In this paper, the inductance characteristics of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) considering cross-coupling effect is analyzed. It is known that the IPMSM has it's operating point at the saturated region. So the cross-coupling effect exists, therefore cross-coupling inductance exists. With the application of Fixed Permeability Method (FPM), we can obtain more exact inductance characteristics of IPMSM. In this paper, a novel method based on the FPM is proposed, which can consider the cross-coupling effect. And the cross-coupling inductance which is the analysis result is shown. Finally, the validity of proposed method is verified by the comparison with the experimental result.

  • In the case of the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM), it is important to know the accurate machine parameters in the design step. In particular, d- and q- axis inductance are expected to have ripple characteristics, due to the mechanical structure and the degree of magnetic saturation. In this paper, this feature is expressed as inductance variation. Inductance variation of the IPMSM is calculated with finite element analysis, and the reason for inductance variation is identified. Finally the validity of this paper is verified by the comparison with the experimental results.

  • In this paper, the d, q-axis inductance of IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) was calculated by the FEA(Finite Element Analysis). And the CVCT(Current Vector Control Test) was performed, and compared with FEA. Therefore the inductance experiment according to the variation of the current phase angle was performed. However, the error was generated in the fundamental wave detection of the voltage and current waveform. So, error has largely effect on the result of computation, it has to note specially. In addition, by using the calculated inductance, the torque calculation was performed and this result was compared through the dynamometer experiment.

  • In this paper, finite element analysis for a PMASynRM is presented and the characteristic analysis of inductance and torque is performed under the effect of saturation. The focus of this paper is characteristic analysis of d and q-axis inductances and torque according to magnetizing quantity of interior permanent magnet for PMASynRM. The d and q-axis current component ratios, load angles of a PMASynRM are investigated quantitatively on the basis of the proposed analysis method and the experimental test. Comparisons are given with output characteristic curves of normal SynRM and those according to the load in PMASynRM, respectively And it is confirmed that the proposed model results in high output power performance.
