  • The purpose of this research is to identify causalities among service quality, service value, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty and to compare the causalities between in-patients and out-patients. A multi-group structural equation model was used to test the hypothesis of conceptual model. Empirical results indicate that two factors such as assurance and empathy have direct impact on service value and customer satisfaction in both the patients. In the results of multi-group comparison test, however, the path coefficients from service value to customer loyalty and from customer satisfaction to customer loyalty were different across the two groups. In out-patients, customer loyalty is more positively related with service value. In in-patients, customer loyalty is more positively related with customer satisfaction. It is proven that service quality influences customer loyalty. Therefore To compete successfully in today's volatile & competitive medical markets, the hospital needs to manage the service quality, considering the type of patients.

  • This study examines the effect of service quality and perceived value on customer loyalty with the intervening role of customers' satisfaction in the e-commerce industry. The research method uses a quantitative research design with a survey model. The sample used in this study is Tokopedia consumers who live in DKI Jakarta and have done online shopping at Tokopedia at least twice in the last six months. All variables used were reliable and valid and met the research requirements. The object of this research were the 200 customer respondents who had made purchases on the largest e-commerce platform of Indonesia, Tokopedia. Data analysis was done by using SPSS and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that: first, the service quality and perceived value affect customer satisfaction positively. Second, there is a mediating effect of customer satisfaction on the relationship between service quality and perceived value on customer loyalty. Third, service quality and perceived value directly affect customer loyalty positively but insignificantly. The result implies that the role of customer satisfaction is significant in creating loyalty. In the e-commerce industry, good quality and perception could positively influence customers but not necessarily form loyalty. For that, e-commerce players should pay a lot of attention on customer satisfaction.

  • In this study, we investigated the impact of the information richness and reachness on the mobile purchasing and the moderating effect of individual characteristics. We examined the information richness and reachness through SNS information and Push notification of smartphone, respectively. As the moderating variables, we adopted customer's value orientation and innovativeness. In the main-effect model with no moderating variable, both of information richness and reachness showed significant effects on the perceived value of products and purchasing channel. Especially, the impact of information richness was more significant on product awareness, while the impact of information reachness was more significant on channel awareness. In the interaction-effect model with moderating variables, customer's value orientation showed significant moderating effect on the impact of perceived product value. However, customer's innovativeness did not show the significant moderating effect on the impact of perceived channel value. It implies that the impact of information reachness applies to the majority of customers, regardless of her [his] innovativeness. Therefore the organizations might be able to use Push notification to activate the customer's mobile purchasing.

And, the ANN analysis shows that utilitarian value is the first most important factor influencing customer satisfaction, followed by hedonic value, facilities & atmosphere, menu and employee service. However, the ANN analysis shows that customer satisfaction is the first most important factor influencing customer loyalty, followed by utilitarian value, hedonic value, brand reputation, menu, and employee service. Conclusions - This study provides practical implications for enhancing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by applying the ANN technique that complements the limitations of the linear structural relationship analysis using the proposed model and the alternative model. In other words, the SEM-ANN model provides guidelines on how Korean franchise restaurants should formulate facilities & atmosphere, employee service, and menu mix strategies in China. In addition, ANN 's analysis shows that restaurant brand reputation plays a pivotal role in increasing customer loyalty. The fact suggests that Korean franchise companies should establish their domestic brand reputation prior to their entry into overseas markets such as China.
