Advances in healthcare technology and rapid economic growth lead to the increased life expectancy and consequently the size of elderly population. Korea is one of the countries that are rapidly aging. Thus, it is particularly important to prepare for the aging society. Recently, the number of healthcare institutions for the elderly citizens has increased. The purpose of selecting a hospital for the elderly is, in general, maintenance of health rather than improvement of health receiving proper treatment. Unlike choosing a hospital for treatment, customers of a long term care hospital have a different set of factors to consider. Especially, when choosing a long term care hospital, the influence of patient's family is greater than the patient. This study examines the factors they consider for long term care hospital. A total of 198 questionnaires were collected from the families of actual patients of long term care hospitals. Twelve questionnaires were found to be non-usable because of missing and unsatisfactory responses. Consequently, 186 questionnaires were used for the analyses. Findings of this study are as follows. First, seven factors have been identified to consider when choosing a long term care hospital for the elderly. They include convenience of facilities, costs variety of facility programs, service hours, reputation, accessibility, quality of medical staff, medical facilities, and facility size. Second, This study measured both importance and satisfaction with these attributes and analyzed the difference between them. Satisfaction was lower than importance in the categories of convenience of facilities, costs, and programs, and accessibility. On the other hand, satisfaction was higher in terms of service hours, reputation, and quality of medical staff. Finally, the current study found positive impact of accessibility and quality of medical staff on reuse intention of a long term care hospital.

Given the structure of XML data, path and tree pattern matching algorithms play an important role in XML query processing. To facilitate decisions or relationships between nodes, nodes in an XML tree are typically labeled in a way that can quickly establish an ancestor-descendant on relationship between two nodes. However, these techniques have the disadvantage of re-labeling existing nodes or recalculating certain values if insertion occurs due to sequential updates. Therefore, in current labeling techniques, the cost of updating labels is very high. In this paper, we propose a new labeling technique called Fast XML encoding, which supports the update of order-sensitive XML documents without re-labeling or recalculation. It also controls the length of the label by reusing deleted labels at the same location in the XML tree. The proposed reuse algorithm can reduce the length of the label when all deleted labels are inserted in the same location. The proposed technique in the experimental results can efficiently handle order-sensitive queries and updates.
The biggest change in the current medical service market is the shift from producer-based approach to customer-based approach. Thus, there is a high necessity for an introduction of market-oriented and customer-oriented marketing activities in medical institutions. Especially, revisitation and positive word-of-mouth of customers are the most effective marketing methods of consistently obtaining customers and drawing new loyal customers. Hence, the factors influencing the reuse of medical services and word-of-mouth are demonstrated using SERVQUAL, and the results show that the service factors influencing reuse intentions on medical services are assurance, responsiveness, and tangibles and the factors strengthening word-of-mouth are empathy and assurance on the services provided by medical institutions. This study has determined that revistation and word-of-mouth of customers are not only influenced by satisfaction on medical services but by the quality itself as well. Therefore, medical service providers need to pursue standardized strategies in order to enhance the quality of medical services simultaneously in addition to simply increasing the customer satisfaction level.
This research is to analyze the modern warehouses in Gunsan during the Japanese Colonial Period. They were the spatial and urban symbol of City of Rice, Gunsan. The main purpose of this study is to survey the modern warehouses in the original center of city, to find their architectural characteristics and to set up a possibility of reuse. 7 existing warehouse buildings are located at Jangmi-Dong and Jooksung-Dong, and they have been built between 1935 and 1940. The warehouse buildings have a module of 6m and they are generally 12m wide, 24~48m long and 8m high. Their structure is composed of reinforced concrete and wooden truss. All warehouse buildings have a rectangular form. Now the diverse commercial programs occupy the original space. Modern warehouse in Gunsan has the spatial and symbolic value as industrial heritage. Therefore, it is necessary to respect the original value of modern warehouse and to create a reusing space for the current generation. It is also essential to verify restoring possibility of three symbolic warehouse buildings in the harbour that were demolished.
The Korean Auto industry has developed remarkably over the past 30 years. In 2000 alone, Korea produced 3.11 million vehicles, and the number of vehicles registered surpassed the ten million mark. As the number of vehicles registered in Korea has increased, yew after you, a rising number of cars have been scrapped. In 2000, a total of 455,592 automobiles were scrapped, up dramatically from only 101,158 in 1989. The system for handling of ELV(End-of-Life Vehicles) in Korea is governed by the "Motor Vehicle Control Act". The Act places the responsibility for vehicle scrapping directly on the vehicle owners. h vehicle owner can only can eel a vehicle registration after he gets a certificate from an authorized vehicle dismantler showing that his vehicle was properly scrapped according to the law. The take-back rate of ELV reaches nearly 100% in Korea. The vehicle scrapping process in Korea is very similar to those in other countries. fluids such as fuels and oils are first removed, and recyclable parts are collected and separated. Engines and transmissions are dismantled and recycled for use as raw material. Plastics, which are not easily reused, are generally treated as industrial wastes. The "Motor Vehicle Control Act" prohibits reuse of certain parts in order to guarantee the safety of the used auto parts. However, some restrictions on the reuse of auto parts have recently been eased to promote recycling. In this paper, additionally, car recycling policy of the foreign countries such as Japan, Germany and EU were reviewed.

As XBRL applications for sharing the contents and semantics of business reports get activated, it is increasingly necessary to reuse components systematically by the standardization in the national level. The current standardization of Korean electronic documents follows the "Guideline for XML Documents Development", which aims to maximize the reusability of components by providing a business library as well as the UN/CEFACT core components methodology. XBRL takes the same approach with the standardization of electronic documents in that their components (concepts and their structures) are defined using XSD. In XBRL, however, concept are restricted to specific types and diverse relationship types can be defined for associating the concepts to themselves and other additional information. As a result, there are some issues that may not be solved by just applying the guideline to XBRL. This paper presents a basic method for applying the methodology to XBRL applications in order to realize the systematic reusing and standardization of XBRL documents in the national level. For case analysis, FSS (Financial Supervisory Service) income statement is employed to demonstrate the possibility of the method.
Since the introduction of a new field of skin care to Korean market which was developed in 1980, a variety of skin care therapies have appeared in mid-1990s. Therefore, in particular, it is considered that aroma therapy is one of the most preferred methods for skin care. Therefore, previous studies focused just on clinical effects of aromatherapy while this study focuses on aestheticians by identifying whether performance of aromatherapy, and their contribution to income will influence on satisfaction in aestheticians and customers' intention to reuse aromatherapy service for positive demonstration. The results of the study are presented as follows: First, it is demonstrated that side-effect of aromatherapy, contribution to income, and customer satisfaction have significant effect on professional aestheticians. In particular, in respect to the aestheticians, this study obtains the results rather different from the estimation that customers are satisfied with the professional service though they have side-effect. Second, as the satisfaction in professional aestheticians after skin care service is a significant factor that influences on intention to reuse it, this study concludes that re-management on behaviors is required according to the degrees of satisfaction.

As complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) continues to scale down deeper into the nanoscale, various device non-idealities cause the I-V characteristics to be substantially different from well-tempered metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs). The last few years witnessed a dramatic increase in nanotechnology research, especially the nanoelectronics. These technologies vary in their maturity. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are at the forefront of these new materials because of the unique mechanical and electronic properties. CNTFET is the most promising technology to extend or complement traditional silicon technology due to three reasons: first, the operation principle and the device structure are similar to CMOS devices and it is possible to reuse the established CMOS design infrastructure. Second, it is also possible to reuse CMOS fabrication process. And the most important reason is that CNTFET has the best experimentally demonstrated device current carrying ability to date. This paper discusses and reviewsthe feasibility of the CNTFET's application at this point of time in integrated circuits design by investigating different types of circuit blocks considering the advantages that the CNTFETs offer.
