The cumacean fauna currently contains more than 1200 species worldwide (Wafting, 1997). Many of the habitats where cumaceans are likely to be found, such as estuaries, shallow embayments, beaches, tidal flats, and the inner continental shelf, have not yet had their cumacean fauna documented (Watling, 1997). A taxonomic study was carried out on the cumacean specimens collected from shallow coast of the Yellow Sea in Korea. As a result, Bodotria ovalis Gamo, 1965 is redescribed as new to Korean cumacean fauna based on the differences between ours and previous researchers' views on this species. B. ovalis rarely occurs in the coast of the Yellow Sea.

1997년부터 1998년 사이에 제주도를 포함한 남해연안의 25개 지점에서 채집된 올챙이새우류를 동정한 결과 4과 13종이 동정되었다. 그들 중 Nannastacidae (꼬마올챙이새우)과에 속하는 3 한국미기록종, Campylaspis pumila Gamo, 1960, Cumella alveata Gamo, 1964 그리고 Cumella glaberata Gamo, 1962가 확인되어 보고한다. 이들 가운데에, C. alveata의 암컷에 관한 기재는 학계에 처음으로 보고되는 것이다. 또한 이들 3종의 구기부에 관한 새로운 정보를 추가한다.

Two Campylaspis species, C. amblyoda $Gam\hat{o}$, 1960 and C. reticulata $Gam\hat{o}$, 1960, are redescribed as new to Korean cumacean fauna. Campylaspis amblyoda is characterized by having a carapace with five or six pairs of pellucid spots on dorsal surface, a pair of projections near proximal portion of frontal lobe, and lacking sulcus on lateral portion. Campylaspis reticulata is easily distinguished from its congeners by having a pair of broad sulcus and several large reticulations on lateral portion of carapace. The collected Korean specimens were congruent with the original descriptions, except for several minor differences. Herein, we add two Campylaspis species to the Korean cumacean fauna. The female of C. reticulata is described for the first time. A key to the Korean Campylaspis species is also provided.

쿠마류 Bodotria biplicata의 조하대 대상분포를 돌산도 모래해안의 쇄파대에서 조사했다. 1993년 1월 소조와 대조때 수심 1m의 표층과 저층, 그리고 바닷가에서 쿠마류를 1조석주기 동안 한 시간마다 썰매 네트로 3회 반복 채집했다(시료수=225개). 조하대에서 가장 우점한 B. biplicata는 저층에서 밀도가 가장 높았고 표층에서는 전체 생물량의 약 $0.6\%$가 채집되었다. 소조때 평균 밀도는 대조때보다 조금 높았다. 채집 생물량은 조하대 수심의 영향을 받았다. 밀도 변화는 주야주기나 밀물-썰물보다 조하대 수심과 더 관련이 있었다. 조사기간에 주야 수직 이동은 뚜렷하지 않았다. 소조와 대조때 모두 B. biplicata 개체군은 낮은 저조 (LLW) 아래 약 90cm 되는 곳에서 밀도가 가장 높았다. 그러므로 이 종은 2주 주기로 해안쪽과 바다쪽으로 수평이동하는 듯하다. B. biplicata가 조하대 모래바닥을 이동하는 속도와 거리는 모래해안의 기울기와 조차에 따라 달라질 것이다. 개체발생 단계별로 분포양상이 달랐고 미성체와 만카유생이 성체보다 깊은 곳에 분포했다. 이것은 먹이를 둘러싼 종내경쟁을 줄이는데 기여할 것 같다.

Through taxonomic survey of specimens collected from the coasts of Korea from 1993 to 2006, Dimorphostylis echinata $Gam{\hat{o}}$, 1962 is new to Korean cumacean fauna. Especially, the adult male and female of D. echinata are described for the first time. Dimorphostylis sculpturensis Vassilenko and Tzareva, 1990 is proposed as a synonym of D. acroplicata Harada, 1960 in this research. Also, its female is redescribed for the first time in Korea.

Two diastylid species, Dimorphostylis manazuruensis Gamo(1960) and Dimorphostylis longicauda Gamo(1962), are recorded as new to Korea cumacean fauna. The subadult male of D. longicauda is described for the first time. As a result, the genus Dimorphostylis found in Korean waters now consists of eight species.

대한해협 (광양만)에서 채집된 올챙이새우류를 동정$.$분류한 결과 흰올챙이새우과(Leuconidae)에 속하는 1종, 볏갈고리채찍올챙 이새우 (Nippoleucon hinumensis)가 한국미기록종으로 밝혀져 보고한다. 갈고리채찍올챙이새우속 (Nippoleucon)은 우리나라에서 처음으로 보고된다.

거제도와 제주도에서 채집된 올챙이새우류를 동정한 결과 Bodotria(참올챙이새우)속에 속하는 2 한국미기록종인 B. biplicata Gamo, 1964와 B. carinata Gamo, 1964가 확인되어, 각각 곰보두줄참올챙이새우와 네모참올챙이새우로 명명하여 보고한다. 특히, B. carinata의 수컷에 관한 기재는 학계에 처음으로 보고되는 것이다. 이로써 한국산 올챙이새우류는 총 3과 5속 10종이 된다.

This study dealt with cumacean specimens collected from the shallow waters of the South Sea and East Sea, Korea. Campylaspis fusiformis Gam$\hat{o}$, 1960 belonging to the family Nannastacidae is newly recorded to Korean fauna. This species resembles C. pumila and C. striata in having a similar body form and a pair of narrow lateral sulcuses on the carapace, but it is easily distinguished from them by the dactylus of the pereopod 2 which is more than 3.5 times the length of the propodus and bears many setae (about 20) on the surface. This species mainly occurs in the Korean and Japanese waters.
