In this study, I wanted to explore in depth the meaning of psychological phenomena experienced by Christian living alone. For this purpose, five male and female living alone aged 65 or older were interviewed in depth, and the data after the interview was qualitatively analyzed by Giorgi's method of phenomenological research. The study found five categories : 'feeling closer to death', 'loneliness due to lack of a partner to talk to', 'helplessness to a debilitated body phenomenon', 'disconnected relationships' and 'looking at God'. The findings that the faith proved to be an important factor of overcoming loneliness in the lives of the elderly, provide a foundation for understanding and the pastoral counseling of the elderly living alone in churches.

This study analyzed the reactions of ad liking, empathy and psychological resistance to antismoking public advertisements through in-depth interviews of 30 adult males. According to the study, non-smokers responded favorably to the advertisement, while smokers were unhappy. In addition, smokers in their 40s and 50s showed a higher level of empathy for ads than those in their 20s and 30s. Smokers have tried various forms of psychological resistance to non-smoking messages, especially denigrating information sources. Based on the results of this research, a measure was proposed to enhance the effectiveness of the non-smoking advertisements.

This study was conducted to analyze the metaverse usage behavior of college students through in-depth interviews and to explore the characteristics of the major metaverse platforms with a focus on keywords. This study derived elements such as metaverse participation activities, real-world order, metaverse system, presence, and self-expression from previous research. This study examined how college students who use the metaverse perceive these variables. We present the following research results: First, the college students who participated in the study showed interest in content with many interactive elements on the metaverse platform and appeared to participate more actively in such content. Second, college students cited the ability to engage in economic activities in the metaverse as their greatest strength. It was expected that social norms applied in the real world would also be applied in the metaverse. Third, the Metaverse system, such as the Metaverse UI, UX, and servers, was found to be a factor that needs to meet users' expectations and hinders immersion. In this study, the characteristics of the metaverse platform were analyzed, focusing on essential keywords from in-depth interviews. The analysis results are as follows: It was expressed with keywords such as Zepeto has 'avatar' and 'personality expression,' Ifland has 'free decoration' and 'communication convenience,' Gathertown has 'movement convenience' and 'video chat.' Roblox has 'game-based' and 'dynamic.'

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of bulb size, type of media, depth of planting, and nutrient compositions on sprouting and growth of tissue cultured garlic microbulbs in hydroponic culture. Early and increased sprouting were observed when the microbulbs were transplanted into soil planted in shallow (1 cm in depth), while bulb size and fresh weight of the whole plant increased in deep planting (3 cm in depth). Bulb size have greatly influenced on not only sprouting rate but also plant growth after planting. Large bulbs resulted in high growth rate such as number of leaves, stem width, plant height, and increase in bulb size after planting. It was shown that Oriental nutrient solution (N=0.17, P=0.45, K=1.29, Ca=2.44, and Mg=0.98 me/L) was more effective in sprouting and further growth of microbulbs as compared to Yamazaki solution (N=0.27, P=0.16, K=1.50, Ca=1.36 and Mg=0.78 me/L). Microbulbs grown in mixture of leaf mould + bark + sand or Baroko showed the most vigrous growth.

Purpose - The present research aims to assess the meaningful association between the extension of sports leisure culture and the spread of wearable devices. The research will discuss the current utilization of wearable devices in sports leisure and the present and future application of wearable devices in sports perspectives. Research design, Data, and methodology - We have investigated and conducted the qualitative content analysis (QCA) to obtain the adequate textual dataset in the current literature and conducted an in-depth analysis of the incorporation of cloud computing in the leisure sports industry by focusing on the development of wearable technologies. Result - From the QCA, it is evident that there is a meaningful connection between the extension of sports leisure culture and the spread of wearable devices, figuring out four kinds of associations as follows: (1) Monitoring the Impact of Sporting Activities, (2) Benefits of Sensor Technology, (3) Reducing Sedentary Behaviors, and (4) Measuring Workload done in Sport Leisure. Conclusion - The present research concludes that wearable devices positively influence individuals to participate in sports and leisure activities. Various technologies are very effective in motivating individuals to adopt sports leisure culture mainly because there is a certain degree of satisfaction that individuals gain in seeing the level of physical activities.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a measurement tool for a positive nursing organizational culture and to verify its reliability and validity. Methods: A conceptual framework and construct factors were extracted through an extensive literature review and in-depth interviews with nurses. The final version of the preliminary tool for the main survey was confirmed by experts through a content validity test and a preliminary survey of 40 nurses. Subsequently, the final tool was developed using a validity and reliability test containing 43 preliminary items. The final version of the tool was used with 327 hospital nurses in the testing phase for the main survey to assess validity and reliability. Results: From the factor analysis, 4 factors and 26 items were selected. The factors were positive leadership of the nursing unit manager, pursuit of common values, formation of organizational relationships based on trust, and a fair management system. The entire determination coefficient was 67.7%. These factors were verified through convergent, discriminant, and concurrent validity testing. The internal consistency reliability was acceptable (Cronbach's α = .95). Conclusion: Both the validity and reliability of the scale were confirmed demonstrating its utility for measuring positive nursing organizational culture. It is expected to be used for education, research, and practical performance policies regarding the nursing organizational culture.

This study examined the resilience factors of multi-cultural families using depth interviews. Thirty-one multi-cultural families(totaling 98 individuals) were interviewed on a range of issues, including the process of marriage, the attitude of international marriage, family relations, social networks, the process of social adaptation, and their needs for specific social services. The resilience theory was used to categorize resilience factors, multi-cultural families. Analysis of results from depth interviews identified three broad resilience factors. The first was related to for belief systems which included 'family's common goal', The second was related to family functioning systems which included 'family cohesion', 'family adaptability', and 'satisfaction for role-expectation'. The third was related to social networking which included 'satisfaction from social activities'. These resilience factors helped multi-cultural families cope with stressful events and risk situations related to every day life. Results from this study imply that multi-cultural families possess the abilities to lead a meaningful and healthy life-style regardless of obstacles such as communication difficulties, cultural differences, and societal stigma.

The effects of water and pesticide management practices on ponded water pesticide concentrations in a paddy plot were analysed using the RICEWQ model. The molinate which is a herbicide widely used in rice culture, and frequently detected in paddy environment was selected. In a previous study, the RICEWQ model was successfully calibrated with field data obtained from a paddy plot in Daegu. The calibrated model was run using water and pesticide management scenarios with a set of measured meteorological data for 1997-2006 in Daegu. For all three ponded water depths with the label rate application, the amount of molinate dissipated in ponded water and volatilized accounted for more than 70%, and the runoff losses were less than 9%. The molinate losses through drainage in the very shallow ponded depth showed 40% less than that in deep ponded depth. Comparing with the deep and shallow ponded depth, the very shallow depth was the best with regards to the reduction of molinate runoff losses. Simulations with different pesticide application rates, label rate and double label rate, showed molinate concentrations in the ponded water increased linearly with the application rate increase.

This study primarily aims at identifying what factors significantly affect the diffusion of knowledge management systems(KMS) and finding out how these identified factors can be effectively managed, especially for Korean companies. The research model is derived based on previous researches on innovation diffusion, information systems implementation, and KMS. The model is used to examine the role of determinants in influencing the extent to which KMS is diffused within organizations. Independent variables of this research are composed of technical characteristics, organizational characteristics and environmental characteristics. 'Breadth of diffusion' and 'depth of diffusion' concept are used to measure the extent of KMS diffusion which is the dependent variable of this model. The 101 companies of total 1,000 samples responded to the survey. To analyze tile results of this empirical study, we performed the multiple regression analysis. As a result, it was shown that the relative advantage, complexity, information system maturity, size, top management support, champion, competitive pressure have influences on both the breadth and the depth diffusions. On the other hand, the organizational culture, valuation and compensation, and uncertainty of environmental factors were not verified to be significant. This empirical study will provide Korean companies with insights into effective ways to diffuse the KMS and succeed in business competition.

Japan is an advanced Asian country with a young, visual and stimulating culture that fascinates even western countries. The aim of this article was to provide an in-depth understanding of youth subculture as a medium of interpreting contemporary Japanese society and fashion, and understanding the values of Japanese youths today. The study of Japanese culture, youth culture, and Japanese youth subcultures of the 2000s and their clothing styles are based on documentary research and internet research, including a wide range of books and dissertations, and English, Korean and Japanese websites. It studies the unique youth subcultures of the country from the perspective of a Korean researcher who lives in a more fashion-conservative neighbouring country.
