  • Behavior of intelligent video surveillance system is recognized by analyzing the pattern of the object of interest by using the frame information of video inputted from the camera and analyzes the behavior. Detection of object's certain behaviors in the crowd has become a critical problem because in the event of terror strikes. Recognition of object's certain behaviors is an important but difficult problem in the area of computer vision. As the realization of big data utilizing machine learning, data mining techniques, the amount of video through the CCTV, Smart-phone and Drone's video has increased dramatically. In this paper, we propose a multiple-sliding window method to recognize the cumulative change as one piece in order to improve the accuracy of the recognition. The experimental results demonstrated the method was robust and efficient learning units in the classification of certain behaviors.

  • This paper presents a method for moving objects detection, analysis and expression how much move as numerical value from the image which is captured by a network camera. To perform this method, we process few kinds of pre-processing to remove noise that are getting background image, difference image, binarization and so on. And to consider perspective effect, we propose modified ART2 algorithm. Finally, we express the result of ATR2 clustering as numerical value. This method is robust to size of object which is changed by perspective effect.

  • There have been many cases of deaths from crushing caused by dense crowds. Numerous studies about pedestrian flow have performed various simulations, but the experimental data to prove the simulations are still not enough. In this paper, the evacuation of pedestrians for proving pedestrian flow simulation is observed. Due to the possibility of real casualties, it is difficult to experiment with humans directly. Therefore, ten C57BL/6NCrSIc mice have been used. It is assumed that C57BL/6NCrSIc mice act like humans in panic situations. Electrical Stimulus Experiments on mice are conducted for exits with various angles. ICY software is applied in this paper. As a result, the mice escape fast at a proper angle of 45 to 60 degrees.

  • The purpose of this study is to research the conspicuous consumption characteristic expressed in the modern fashion. The conspicuous consumptions are classified with 2 parts as follows as: 1. The motive of conspicuous consumption, 2. The effect of conspicuous consumption. And the motive of conspicuous consumption is 1) conspicuous consumption, 2) conformity consumption, 3) compensatory consumption. The effect of conspicuous consumption is 1) veblen effect, 2) bandwagon effect, 3) snob effect. The veblen effect is caused either by the belief that higher price means higher quality, or by the desire for conspicuous consumption to be seen as buying an expensive, prestige item. The bandwagon effect is people tend to follow the crowd without examining the merits of a particular thing. The snob effect refers to the desire to own unusual, expensive or unique goods. The conspicuous consumption has produced conflicting results of the homogeneous imitation and the different scarcity. Consequently conspicuous consumption characteristic expressed in the modern fashion refers to the conformable imitation and the different scarcity. The conformable imitation is pursuit of first lady look and imitation. The different scarcity refers to the desire to own exclusive or unique goods. The unique value is pursuit of limited edition and art mode.

  • Recent advances in the media have no special change is the development of the 3D stereoscopic image, which started in the movie is coming over now to the broadcast. Confusing variety having, in the production of 3D images that are waiting for the standardized production. 3D images of them being used in broadcast subtitles, first because there is no standardized production systems, making it look is dedicated to the time and effort. This research necessary to create 3D images of these subtitles, titles, text-based objects, such as Rig imaging using a standardized way to synthesize the most stable is proposed. First, with captions or titles, and the readability and understanding of the uniqueness to the human eye to create an environment that is kind of crowd. Because of this, excessive camera Ferrell Rex (gap) created a branch bunch of snow, work should not hurt readability. 100 adult men and women throughout the experiment.

  • The recent successes of systems like Google, Wikipedia and InnoCentive suggest that the time is now ripe for more such systems. Thus, we want to explore these systems and exploit them from a viewpoint of social psychology prior to technological progress. First of all, we examine the difference between 'wisdom of crowds' and 'crowd psychology'. There are two classes, which are for senior management major students. Conditions of two are same, except a class time. Forty five students in one class are tested for this experiment. They form a group with five people and are divided into 9 groups. In a case of a morning class, peer-to-peer evaluations are given to individuals in a class when a group presentation for a final project is given. On the other hand, in a case of afternoon class, peer-to-peer evaluations are given to each group in a class. The result is quite fruitful. The first is that an expert's evaluation for a project agrees with students, who are beginners in this field in the degree of more than 95%. However, in the case of afternoon class, students' group evaluation turns out to agree with an expert's one less than 53%. Morning class experiment result proves the truth of collective intelligence again. It tunrs out independent and confidential opinions are more cost effective and give right answers to questions than group opinions.

  • Nesolynx thymus Girault (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) is one among 20 hymenopteran parasitoids reported to attack the uzi fly, Exorista bombycis, which in turn infests the silkworm, Bombyx mori accounting a cocoon yield loss of 10-20%. A host of factors viz., age and size of host, age and size of parasitoid, availability of host, temperature and quality of host are reported to influence the reproductive efficiency of the parasitoids. In the present study an attempt was made to record the influence of foraging parasitoid density on their reproductive performance. Three day-old uzi pupae were offered to varying numbers (1 - 10) of 2 day old Nesolynx thymus adults for parasitization. The progeny production per pupa (84.44 - 132.77) increased significantly with increase in the number of foraging parasitoid adults (1 - 10) however, progeny production per female decreased. The sex ratio (M : F) (1:25.49 - 1:1.53) decreased significantly with increase in foraging parasitoid adults. The morphometric parameters except female abdomen width of first generation parasitoid showed significant negative correlation with number of foraging adults. However, correlation between the parasitoid size in first generation and their reproductive performance was nonsignificant.

  • The paper aims to investigate the factors of brand equity affecting the purchase intention of car buyers in Ho Chi Minh City. The authors use qualitative method and quantitative research to study the matters, specifically using scales and data collected for Cronbach alpha reliability testing, analysizing the discovery factor of EFA, CFA and verifying the regression models through AMOS software with SEM linear modeling. The study proposes four factors: (1) brand awareness, (2) self-expression value, (3) perceived quality, (4) brand psychology impacting on the brand loyalty and intention to buy cars of customers. The results show that all four factors are statistically significant for positive brand loyalty and purchase willing. The results showed that brand loyalty positively affects consumers' intention to buy cars. Among the factors included in the study, the brand psychology is a new factor which developed by experts in the context of Vietnam. This is the first study in Vietnam to quantify clearly the element of "crowd psychology" affecting the interests and habits of Vietnamese consumers. This explains why Vietnamese consumers prefer brands that are familiar in the market and some new cars with nice models and colors suitable for Vietnamese psychology.

  • Purpose - A framework is suggested in this paper which will help crowdfunding platforms to match projects according to expectations of funders, leading to successful campaigns and thus increase the profitability of the crowdfunding platform. Research design, data, and methodology - The paper is theoretical and conceptual in nature which proposes a model for crowdfunding platforms to match expectations of crowds with project fundraisers. Results - Crowdfunding platforms are going through incremental innovations in order to match customer (funders and fundraisers) expectations. Leading crowdfunding platforms like Kickstart holds benchmark for other players in the market but the secret of success lies in matching quality projects with the appropriate funders. Crowdfunding platforms have to securitize the projects and allow only quality projects but also provide a wide range of options for funders. Thus, to manage this trade-off between quality and quantity of options, a framework is proposed. Conclusions - Crowdfunding platforms have to adopt a model which will help them in providing a perfect match between crowds and fundraisers. Each member of the crowd and every project will be assigned a category and rating based on the past records. Securitization of projects will help to entertain only demanded projects which will reduce the number of failing campaigns.
