전산프로그램을 이용한 급성호흡기감염증 청구자료 심사 시행 후 개원의의 진료 및 청구 행태 변화 (Influence of review system using computerized program for Acute Respiratory Infection upon practicing doctors' behaviour)

  • The aim of this study was to explore the effects of a computerized review program which was introduced in August 1, 2003, using claims data for acute respiratory infection related diseases. National Health Insurance (NHI) claims data on respiratory infection related diseases before and after the introduction, with six month intervals respectively, were used for the analysis. Clinic was the unit of observation, and clinics with only one physician whose specialty was internal medicine, pediatrics, otorhinolaryngology and family medicine and clinics with a general practitioner were selected. The final sample had 7,637 clinics in total. Indices used to measure practice pattern was prescription rates of antibiotics, prescription rates of injection drug per visit, treatment costs per claim, and total costs per claim. Changes in the number of claims for major disease categories and upcoding index for disease categories were used to measure claiming behavior. Data were analysed using descriptive analysis, t-test for indices changes before and after the introduction, analysis of variance (ANOVA) for practice pattern change for major disease categories, and multiple regression analysis to identify whether new system influenced on provider' practice patterns or not. Prescription of antibiotics, prescription rates of injection drug, treatment costs per claim, and total costs per claim decreased significantly. Results from multiple regression analysis showed that a computerized review system had effects on all the indices measuring behavior. Introduction of the new system had the spillover effects on the provider's behavior in the related disease categories in addition to the effects in the target diseases, but the magnitude of the effects were bigger among the target diseases. Rates of claims for computerized review over total claims for respiratory diseases significantly decreased after the introduction of a computerized review system and rates of claims for non target diseases increased, which was also statistically significant. Distribution of the number of claims by disease categories after the introduction of a computerized review system changed so as to increase the costs per claims. Analysis of upcoding index showed index for 'other acute lower respiratory infection (J20-22)', which was included in the review target, decreased and 'otitis media (H65, H66)', which was not included in the review target, increase. Factors affecting provider's practice patterns should be taken into consideration when policies on claims review method and behavior changes. It is critical to include strategies to decrease the variations among providers.

도로터널 임계풍속 산정에 격자개수 및 화원의 크기와 위치가 미치는 영향 (The effect of grid number and the location and size of the fire source on the critical velocity in a road tunnel fire)

  • 본 연구에서는 도로터널 내 화재 시 임계풍속 산정을 위해 3차원 전산유체역학 기법을 이용하여 격자수, 그리고 화원의 크기와 위치에 따라 그 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 본 대상터널에서 1차원 식으로 산출된 임계풍속은 터널 높이 대신 수력지름을 적용한 경우 2.22 m/s로 산정되었다. 임계풍속 2.25 m/s를 적용하여 격자수에 따른 6가지 수치해석 결과, 격자수에 따라 역류의 위치와 온도, CO 농도 값이 상이하게 나타났으며, 본 대상터널의 경우는 약 84만개 격자수를 사용한 case 1이 적절한 격자임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 화원의 크기와 위치에 따른 수치해석 결과, 화원의 크기와 위치에 따라 상이한 기류분포, 온도분포 및 CO농도분포를 나타내어 임계풍속에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인했다. 이것은 열교환 면적과 위치에 기인된다고 판단된다. 향후 실제 실험결과와 상세히 비교하여 3차원 수치해석의 격자 의존성과 화원의 위치 및 크기를 반드시 확인해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

컴퓨터 모니터에 제시된 표적의 탐색과 선택과정에 관한 연구 (A study on the search and selection processes of targets presented on the CRT display)

  • 컴퓨터 모니터에 제시되는 표적의 물리적 특성(표적의 크기, 표적까지의 거리, 표적의 방향, 주변자극들의 조밀도 등)이 입력도구에 따라서 표적의 탐색과 선택반응의 정확성과 반응시간에 미치는 영향을 밝히고자 하였다. 실험 1에서는 단순 표적이 현재의 커서위치로부터 방향과 거리를 달리하여 제시되었을 때 마우스를 이용한 포인팅 반응을 분석하였다. 그 결과, (1) 과대이동(overshooting)의 비율이 정확이동이나 과소이동(undershooting)보다 높았다. (2) 이러한 경향은 상하 혹은 좌우의 정방향보다는 사각방향으로 이동할 때 그리고 표적이 멀리 있을수록 증가하였다. (3) 과대/과소이동의 빈도는 사각에서 현저하였으나, 그 정도는 오히려 정방향에서 더 컸다. (4) 전체 수행과정을 계획, 이동, 조정, 반응수행단계로 구분할 때, 반응시간의 결정요인은 표적까기 마우스를 이동하는 단계였다. 실험 2에서는 실제 단어를 표적으로 사용하여 표적의 방향과 거리뿐만 아니라 표적의 크기와 방해자극들의 조밀도 수준을 체계적으로 변화시켰을 때, 키보드와 마우스에 의한 표적 선택시간을 분석하였다. 표적의 크기로는 한글 96의 글자크기 10, 12, 14를 사용하고, 자극들의 조밀도는 줄간격 100, 150 200%를 사용하였다. 그 결과, (1) 전반적으로는 키보드에 비해 마우스를 이용한 선택 반응시간이 짧았지만 커서를 상하 또는 좌우로만 이동하는 조건에서는 오히려 키보드의 반응시간이 더 짧았다. (3) 줄간격이 조밀하고(100%) 표적의 크기가 작을 때(10) 반응시간이 가장 길었다. (4) 키보드의 경우에는 줄간격 150% 조건에서 반응시간이 가장 짧은 반면, 마우스의 경우에는 줄간격이 커짐에 따라 반응시간이 증가하는 경향이 있었다. 마지막으로, 이 연구의 결과가 시사하는 입력도구의 특성과 표적의 물리적 특성간의 상호 관련성이 시스템의 설계에 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지 논의되었다.=-0.71435*)이었으나, 괴경중 총당 함량과는 정의 상관(r=0.78018*)을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 해충종합방제 프로그램을 확립하고 또한 새로운 내충성 품종의 육성에 기초자료가 될 것으로 생각된다.복현상에 대한 해석이 이루어져야 하겠다. 유의하게 높았으며, 남자노인보다는 여자노인이 식품섭취에 계절에 의한 영향을 더욱 더 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 장수 노인들은 가공식품보다는 계절마다 제철에 생산 되는 자연 식품의 섭취비율이 높았다. 전반적으로 장수노인들은 소식의 경향을 보였으며 이 와 같은 소식습관과 신선한 식물성 식품들의 일상 섭취가 건강한 장수에 영향을 미쳤을 가 능성도 있을 것으로 사료된다.며, 지방 조직내 지방축적에 영향을 미친다는 것을 말해 준다.에서 하는 부모교육과 반상회의 홍보자료에 반상회의 홍보자료에 반드시환경친화적 음식소비행동에 관한 교육이 포함되어야 한다. 조리사의 경우 정기교육과정에 환경친화적 음식소비행동에 관한 홍보를 함께 함으로써 외식이나 단체급식에서 발행하는 음식물 쓰레기의 양을 줄 일 수 있을 것이다.m its genes controlling host specificity to its population sturctures and dynamics, have begun to provide new insights into the potential mechanisms underlying race variation. Performance of KHU Auto-guiding Package for McDonald 82 inch Telecope (KAP82)

  • In astronomical observations, stable auto-guiding and accurate target centering capabilities are critical to increase observation efficiency and sensitivity. Recently, Center for the Exploration of the Origin of the Universe (CEOU) has developed SQUEAN (SED camera for QUasars in EArly uNiverse). SQUEAN is installed and had successful observations at the 82 inch Otto Struve Telescope of McDonald Observatory in 2015 February. We have upgraded the existing auto-guiding softwares to KAP82 (KHU Auto-guiding Package for the McDonald 82 inch Telescope). Keeping the original hardware systems and the software algorithms of CAP (CQUEAN Auto-guiding Package), KAP 82 is completely re-written in Visual C++. We developed several center finding algorithms, e.g., 2D-gaussian fitting and weighted mean methods. In this presentation, we compare the auto-guiding performances with these algorithms.

Keratinocytic Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor as a Novel Biomarker for Pathological Skin Condition

  • Skin is an emerging target tissue in pharmaceutical and cosmetic science. Safety assessment for dermal toxicity is a critical step for development of topically applicable pharmaceutical agents and ingredients in cosmetics. Urgent needs exist to set up toxicity testing methods for dermal safety, and identification of novel biomarkers for pathological cutaneous alteration is highly required. Here we will discuss if vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) has a potential as a biomarker for dermal impairment. Experimental and clinical evidences for induction of keratinocytic VEGF under pathological conditions will be reviewed.

Customizing Ground Color to Deliver Better Viewing Experience of Soccer Video

  • In this paper, we present a method to customize the ground color in outdoor sports video to provide TV viewers with a better viewing experience or subjective satisfaction. This issue, related to content personalization, is becoming critical with the advent of mobile TV and interactive TV. In outdoor sports video, such as soccer video, it is sometimes observed that the ground color is not satisfactory to viewers. In this work, the proposed algorithm is focused on customizing the ground color to deliver a better viewing experience for viewers. The algorithm comprises three modules: ground detection, shot classification, and ground color customization. We customize the ground color by considering the difference between ground colors from both input video and the target ground patch. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme offers useful tools to provide a more comfortable viewing experience and that it is amenable to real-time performance, even in a software-based implementation.

  • In this paper, we propose a new interpolation method by using the motion between two moving image frames. In the proposed method, the movement is detected by using neighborhood pixels of target pixel in the past frame and the present frame. Then, H-shaped pseudomedian filter (below HPMED) is used for the still part of the image and Delta-shaped interpolation filter (below $\Delta$-shaped) for used in the moving part of the image. We detect the movement by comparing the differences between pixels in 4${\times}$5 window of the past frame and the present frame; the difference has a critical value. We simultaneously accomplish checking PSNR(peak signal noise ratio) and subjective assessment that is placed the focus on edge characteristic for assessment of result in computer simulation. The results show that the proposed adaptive method is better than the conventional methods.

저장 시스템의 논리 파티션을 이용한 파일 중복 제거 (File Deduplication using Logical Partition of Storage System)

  • In traditional target-based data deduplication system, all of the files should be chunked and compared for reducing duplicated data blocks. One of the critical problem of this system arises as the number of files are increasing. The system suffers from computational delay for calculating hash value and processing metadata for handling each file. To overcome this problem, in this paper, we propose a novel data deduplication system using logical partition of storage system. The system applies data deduplication scheme to each logical partition not each file. Experiment result shows that the proposed system is more efficient compared with traditional deduplication scheme where the logical partition is full of files by 50% in terms of deduplication capacity and processing time.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a recruiting platform resolving the mismatch between corporate job and job finder's competence in recruitment market. For this, we investigated technological trends and limitation on recruit platform. Based on the findings, this study investigates the trends and directions related to recruiting platform evolution and identified critical success factors and development strategies for successful development of recruiting platform. Two development strategies include employment of online resume and construction of database assessing job finder's competence. We also proposed target system architecture incorporating job database, competency assessment form, capability oriented resume. To analyze user requirement national competency standards and core job capability evaluation model were analyzed. Next, we designed integrated database, user interfaces, and dynamic functionalities using the forms developed in earlier stage. Finally, we assessed the fidelity of form item, integrity of database, and the usability of interface to evaluate the effectiveness of the system.

최적화기법을 이용한 고속 탄성회전체의 밸런싱 (An Optimal Correction Balancing of A High-Speed Flexible Rotor)

  • An influence coefficient method with an optimal correction balancing algorithm is developed for balancing a high-speed flexible rotor system. Conventional flexible balancing algorithms such as least square and weighted least square algorithms may not satisfy allowable residual vibration levels in certain speed ranges, while the optimal correction balancing method can be more effective in controlling vibration levels in a target speed. Related analyses were reviewed and applied to a test rig to show the effectiveness of the optimal correction balancing method.
