  • 이 글의 목적은 미국의 흑인 청년감독 라이언 쿠글러의 작품과 영화세계를 분석하는데 있다. 쿠글러 감독은 독립영화에서 출발하여 현재 할리우드에서 활동 중인 흑인 청년감독으로, 자신의 문화정체성을 바탕으로 흑인의 가치관과 내면의식을 영화로 재현하며 미국 '흑인영화'의 계보를 잇고 있는 청년감독이다. 이 글에서는 대표작 <오스카 그랜트의 어떤 하루>(2013), <크리드>(2015), <블랙 팬서>(2018)를 중심으로 그의 작품세계와 영화철학을 분석하고, 당대 미국 사회현실과의 사회맥락적 의미를 규명한다. 이 연구를 통해 쿠글러 감독은 흑인의 정체성과 흑인성(blackness)을 자기반영하는 '흑인영화'의 전통을 충실히 계승하고 있으며, 동시에 할리우드에서 내면화해 온 백인 남성가부장제 이데올로기를 전복하는 21세기 '새로운 할리우드 흑인영화 파워(New Hollywood Black Film Power)'를 상징하는 청년감독임을 확인할 수 있다.

언론미디어의 신어(新語) 사용 문제와 개선 방안 (Problems with the use of a Neologism in media and ways to improve them)

  • 본 연구는 언론미디어에 자주 사용하고 있는 신어(신조어)에 대한 문제점을 일반인을 대상으로 인식조사를 분석하고 그 데이터를 기반으로 개선방안과 시사점을 도출하고 있다. 일반적으로 언론미디어를 통해 신조가 매우 많이 노출되고 무분별하게 활용되고 있음을 알 수 있고, 20~30대는 신어 사용에 긍정적이고 50~60대는 상대적으로 부정적으로 나타났다. 신조의 지나친 사용은 세대 간 갈등과 소외를 불러일으킬 수 있다는 점이 가장 큰 문제로 지적되고 있고, 한글 파괴, 부적절한 사회 인식 등을 제고할 수 있어 전반적으로는 올바른 우리말 사용에 대한 필요성을 인지하고 있다. 다만, 언론미디어는 소확행처럼 최신 트렌드에 맞는 용어 적재적소에 사용해 관심을 유발하고 콘테츠를 풍부하게 하려는 긍정적인 측면에서 신어를 사용하는 경우가 많았다. 이러한 문제점에 대한 대안으로 언론미디어 종사자의 자정 작용이 가장 중요하고, 미디어 리터러시 교육과 캠페인 등을 통해 올바른 우리말 사용을 권장하는 것이 좋다고 본다.

  • 이 연구는 충진재의 유무에 따른 철근 콘리크트의 경화수축과 초기 크리이프 특성을 실험적으로 구명한 것이다. 그 결과, 경화수축은 보관온도가 높아질수록 커졌고, 충진재를 사용한 경우가 온도의 영향을 더 크게 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 초기 크리이프는 재하시간과 응력일강도화가 증가함에 따라 증가했고, 강성변형이 클수록 컸는데, 이는 충진재를 첨가한 경우가 더 크게 나타났다.

  • The religious doctrine of the Daesunjinlihoe is composed of a next's 4 kinds. The first item is the object of worship. This is the starting point to understand one religion. The second is the main thesis. This is the intellectual expression of original religious experience of the founder of religion. The third is the creed. This regulates a faith practice of the association, being the faith confession. The fourth item is the purpose. The purpose is the ultimate state which the religion association intends to. This has the value as worldwide idea, including the personality completion of the individual. There are three kind feature of religious doctrine in Daesunjinlihoe. They are as follows. The first thing is the intellectual expression of the religious experience and it is the original of the founder. The second is the critical succession and transfiguration of traditional thought. The third is that it displays a future-oriented and new thought.

대순진리회 교화의 역사적 전형(典型)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Archetypes of Historical Edification of Daesoonjinrihoe)

  • Edification in Daesoonjinrihoe is not only a phenomenon that occurs following the differences of religious experience or spiritual development among the community members, which enables the members to share teaching and learning experiences with one another, but also an issue determined as one of the major activities of the religious order and a plan for achieving the purpose of the religious order-Podeokchenha(Wordly Propagation), Gujechansaeng (Salvation of all mankind) and Jisangcheonguk Geonseol(Building of earthly paradise). The purpose of this article is to clarify its concept and provide an example of edification, through considering the historical model for edification to help the cultivators with their work of edification. The archetype of edification of Daesoonjinrihoe was formed and gradually developed in phases by Sangje, Kang Jeungsan, the Supreme God(姜甑山, 1871-1909), Doju, Jo Jeongsan(趙鼎山, 1895-1958) and Dojeon, Park Wudang(朴牛堂, 1917-1995), by the three of whom the Religious Authority was succeeded. Sangje descended to the human world and preached to people to live by the rule of Haewon Sangsaeng(Resolution of grievances for the mutual beneficences of all life) and set an example of abolishing the old customs, living in mutual beneficences and having respect for human being. Doju, in revering the last will of Sangje, established the religious order by setting its creed, rituals and activities, which formed most contents of the archetype of edification. Dojeon set up a religious faith system by firmly establishing the Religious Authority and performed the True Law in accordance with Sangje's program of heaven to educate the cultivators to achieve the goal of self-cultivation following the last will of Doju. Through this, a perfect method to reach the state of Dotong(The Truly Unified State of Dao) is fulfilled. In this way, the archetype of edification was formed in the process of succession of Religious Authority. In conclusion, edification in Daesoonjinrihoe contributes to a 'systematic conveyance and understanding' through the historical archetype of edification, and it can be described as a concept that becomes a model to put into practice the 'True Law' of teachings given by two Sangjes for Dotong. Therefore, edification of Daesoonjinrihoe is drawing attention of its development as an important activity that realizes the ultimate value of the religious order because it solves the problems of immorality(absence of Dao), disorder and disregard of human value generated from the other side of this material civilization, with the truth of Haewon Sangsaeng, and has a function of rebuilding and leading the individuals and the society to the Truly Unified State of Dao through performing of the True Law.

라마노바의 의상디자인 이론과 접근 방식 (The Principles of Clothing Design and the Way of Design Approach in Lamanova)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the principles of clothing design and the way of design approach in Lamanova. She caused a revolution in the art of dress and created the foundation for costume design theory. She Addressed Art in everyday life to self-taught dressmakers. The distinguishing feature of the design is simplicity and functionality. In an article "The Russian Style", Lamanova raised the question of the new Soviet costume and traditional costume. In "On Contemporary Costume" she classified the new forms of clothes into everyday and holiday attire, showed the principles of costume, and analyzed in detail the necessity of constructing a costume to suit the individual figure. In "On the Rationality of Costume", she found a basis theory for clothing design which is for whom, from what, and for what purpose. Lamanova's theory was made public in full in 1928 and was presented at the exhibition of Handmade Textiles and Embroidery in Women's Contemporary Costume. The main contents are the costume's purpose, it's material, the figure of its wearer, and its form. She argued that the new costume could be in line with the new life and her theory could be the creed of clothing designers. The principles of Lamanova's theory can still be applied today, not only in Russian traditional and contemporary costume, but in contemporary world fashion.

Performance and competitiveness of red vs. green phenotypes of a cyanobacterium grown under artificial lake browning

  • Increasing inputs of dissolved organic matter (DOM) to northern lakes is resulting in 'lake browning.' Lake browning profoundly affects phytoplankton community composition by modifying two important environmental drivers-light and nutrients. The impact of increased DOM on native isolates of red and green-pigmented cyanobacteria identified as Pseudanabaena, which emerged from a Dolichospermum bloom (Dickson Lake, Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada) in 2015, were examined under controlled laboratory conditions. The genomes were sequenced to identify phylogenetic relatedness and physiological similarities, and the physical and chemical effects of increased DOM on cellular performance and competitiveness were assessed. Our study findings were that the isolated red and green phenotypes are two distinct species belonging to the genus Pseudanabaena; that both isolates remained physiologically unaffected when grown independently under defined DOM regimes; and that neither red nor green phenotype achieved a competitive advantage when grown together under defined DOM regimes. While photosynthetic pigment diversity among phytoplankton offers niche-differentiation opportunities, the results of this study illustrate the coexistence of two distinct photosynthetic pigment phenotypes under increasing DOM conditions.

게임 원작 기반 콘텐츠의 영화적 재현-게임과 영화의 텍스트 분석을 중심으로 (Cinematic reproduction of original game contents-Focusing on text analysis of games and movies)

  • 본 연구는 원 소스 멀티 유즈 시대의 원천 콘텐츠로 각광받고 있는 게임에 집중하여, 게임과 게임을 바탕으로 만들어진 영화의 텍스트를 분석한 뒤 장르와 문법의 전환 과정에서 나타나는 현상과 변화, 그리고 그 속에 담긴 심층적인 의미를 고찰해 보고자 하였다. 이에 보글러의 '영웅 여정의 12단계' 및 그래마스의 '행위소 모델'을 사용하여 니드 포 스피드, 어쌔신크리드, 워크래프트의 세 작품을 교차 분석 함으로써 담화의 구조를 살펴보고, 게임에서 영화로 이동하는 과정에서 텍스트의 변화가 가져온 유의미한 변곡점을 분석하였다.

  • 도서관법과 도서관인 윤리선언은 차별 없는 열린 서비스를 통하여 정보자원으로의 동등한 접근과 이용을 보장하는 사회적 책임을 명시하고 있다. 대학도서관은 누구에게나 차별 없는 정보 접근의 평등과 지적 자유를 보장함으로써 조직, 지역사회, 국가의 문화 발전에 기여하는 사회적 책임을 완수할 수 있다. 본 연구는 도서관법, ISO 26000, IFLA의 LSDP을 기반으로 사회적 책임의 접근 방법을 법적, 이해관계자적, 정보 수요적 측면에서 검토하였다. 아울러 대학도서관의 사회적 책임에 대한 인식이 보급되지 않은 우리나라 대학도서관에 사회적 책임의 개념, 국제적 표준과 그 접근방법을 검토함으로써 사회적 책임에 관한 기초 이론을 제시하였다. 이를 기반으로 사회적 책임의 수행 방안을 제시함으로써 대학도서관의 사회적 책임 활동 시작을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다.

중·한·일 세 나라의 주거민속 연구 -조왕(竈王)- (Comparison of House Folkore in China, Korea and Japan)

  • This research on the house folklore in China, Korea, and Japan is focusing on a kitchen God that is common in these three countries. This god originated in China and has subsequently influenced Korea and Japan. Today, all three countries use the same name of this kitchen god which is called Youngwang(竈王) as its name has been spelled in Chinese. In China, this kitchen god has been believed in two different ways. The Han people have developed their belief in Youngwang while another creed has been originated from other ethnic groups. Because of the particular house style with upper stories of ethnic groups in the southern and southeast areas of China, a kitchen fireplace is centered in the house. Han people in China also worship painted depictions of kitchen gods. And the ethnic groups believe it has three stone legs for a fire box. These differing beliefs has bad influenced on Korea and Japan. The kitchen god of Cheju island (off the south Korea coast) is believed to be almost the same as among the ethnic groups in China Interestingly, form of belief in the kitchen god in Okinawa (off the south coast of Japan) is almost identical as in the southern area of China Custom in China. Korea, and Japan regarding the kitchen god symbolized family values healing, initiating a new daughter-in-law to reveging the kitchen god, etc. are all the very similar. A fireplace and its fire are very important and, have many taboo, attached. Existing rich tales of kitchen gods are similar in the three countries. Moreover, people in the three countries, think that the clay or time plaster of the fireplace with bring good luck on New Year's eve. However, Korea kitchen god features one thing that is different from those China and Japan, that is that water symbolizes the kitchen god in Korea. A painted kitchen god as they are popular in China, has influenced only some Buddhist temples in Korea.
