How do learners discover the topic in team project-based learning?: Analysis of Learners' Creative Activity in the process of selecting the topic

  • Team project learning is a type of Project-Based Learning, which is an effective learning method for developing collaborative competency and interpersonal communication skills, as well as for developing cognitive competency such as critical thinking, creative thinking, and analytical skills. This research, conducted to analyze learning activities, focuses on students' creative thinking and activities in TPBL(Team Project-Based Learning). A qualitative approach including a reflective journal based on the 6 stages of TPBL, was adopted for this purpose. In this study, 69 reflective journals on the three stages (developing a theme, researching, theme-making) of 23 undergraduate students were categorized on the basis of three criteria: divergent thinking factors, convergent thinking factors and affective factors. The results show that the participants' journals demonstrated twenty-eight activities from nine cognitive factors and nine activities from three affective factors were derived from reflect journal. This finding indicates that more appropriate instructional strategies are needed for students to enhance their creative thinking skills and activities

중등예비교사의 창의역량 강화를 위한 융합수업지도안 작성 및 수업시연의 효과 (The Effect of Convergence Lesson Plan and Teaching Demonstration for Enhancing Creative Competency of The Pre-service Teachers')

  • 본 연구는 '교육방법 및 교육공학' 수업에서 중등예비교사에게 요구되는 창의역량 강화와 학업도전 변화를 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 중등예비교사 94명이 한 학기 동안 융합수업지도안 작성 및 수업시연으로 진행되는 프로젝트 학습에 참여하였다. 설문지는 지은림, 주언희(2012)가 개발한 창의적 인재 역량측정도구와 배상훈 외(2015)의 학부교육 실태조사(K-NSSE)의 학업도전 사전-사후 설문을 실시하였다. 데이터 분석은 IBM SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 대응표본 t 검정을 수행하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 창의역량에서는 '고차적 사고력', '문제해결능력', '호기심', '감수성', '과제집착력', '사회 가치추구', '협동 및 배려'가 유의미하였다. 학업도전에서는 '고차원 학습'과 '학습전략'이 유의미하였다. 이를 바탕으로 융합교육, 융합수업을 일반화하여 수업하기 위해서는 다양한 융합수업설계, 지도안 작성, 실천연구와 반복적인 융합수업의 효과를 검증하며 수정 보완 과정의 필요성에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

STEAM 캠프를 통한 영재학급 고등학생의 융합인재소양과 창의적 인재 역량 변화 (The Effect of STEAM Camp Program for Gifted High School Students on Their Creative Leader Competency and STEAM Literacy)

  • 미래의 과학기술 발전을 주도할 인재를 육성하기 위해 우리나라 교육부는 융합적 역량을 강조하고 있다. 융합인재교육(STEAM)은 과학기술에 대한 학생들의 흥미와 이해를 높이고 융합적 사고력과 문제해결력을 배양하는 데에 목적이 있다. 한편 영재학생 대상으로 진행되는 캠프는 생활 속에서 발견되는 문제를 해결하기 위한 산출물을 학생 스스로 계획하여 고안함으로써 미래 인재 역량을 함양하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 STEAM 기반의 캠프를 수행한 뒤 영재학급 고등학생의 융합인재소양과 창의적 인재 역량이 변화하였는지를 탐색하였다. 캠프는 프로젝트형 학생 중심의 산출물을 개발하는 과정으로 1박 2일간 광역시 소재 52개교 고등학교 영재학급 학생 517명에게 실시하였다. 캠프 실시 전과 후에 융합인재소양과 창의적 인재 역량 변화를 조사하였다. 연구 결과, STEAM 캠프를 통해 영재학급 고등학생의 융합인재소양과 창의적 인재 역량이 유의미하게 향상하였음을 알 수 있었다. 특히 융합인재소양의 창의, 존중, 소통 영역과 창의적 인재 역량의 사회적 특성 영역의 사회 가치 추구 요인을 제외한 모든 하위 요인이 높아졌다. 교육학적 함의를 논의하고자 한다.

STEAM R&E를 통한 고등학생의 창의적 인재 역량 변화 (Changes in High School Students' Creative Leader Competency through STEAM R&E)

  • 우리나라 교육부는 미래 과학기술 발전을 주도할 창의적이고 융합적 역량을 갖춘 인재 융성을 강조하고 있다. 융합인재교육(STEAM)은 학생들의 과학기술에 대한 흥미와 이해를 높이고 창의적 문제해결능력을 배양하는 데에 목적이 있다. STEAM R&E는 실생활과 관련된 융합 문제를 해결하기 위해 학생이 자기 주도적으로 연구 설계를 함으로써 미래 인재 역량을 함양하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 STEAM R&E 프로젝트를 수행한 뒤 고등학생의 창의적 인재 역량이 변화하였는지를 탐색하였다. 창의적 인재 역량 검사는 인지적, 정의적, 사회적 영역으로 구성되며, 검사지는 각 영역별로 해당 요소를 측정하는 리커트 스케일 문항으로 측정하였다. 이에 2016 STEAM R&E에 참여한 고등학생을 대상으로 사전-사후 창의적 인재 역량 변화를 정량적으로 살펴보았고, 과학고등학교와 영재학교, 과학중점학교, 일반계 고등학교 간의 변화 차이를 비교해보았다. 연구 결과, STEAM R&E 프로젝트를 통해 전체 학생의 창의적 인재 역량이 세가지 영역 모두 향상하였음을 알 수 있었다. 과학고등학교와 영재학교 학생들은 사전-사후검사 결과에서 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 과학중점학교와 일반계 고등학교 학생의 창의적 인재 역량이 유의미하게 향상하였다. 연구 결과를 통해 STEAM R&E 활동이 일반고와 과학중점학교 학생들의 창의적 인재 역량의 함양이 효과를 나타낼 수 있는 것으로 볼 수 있었으며, 학생들의 창의적 인재 역량이 어떻게 성장할 수 있는지에 대한 질적 탐구가 후속연구로 진행되어야 함을 제언하였다.

미래융합인재 핵심역량에 대한 유통업 영업사원의 교육요구도 분석 (Educational Needs of Distribution Company Salespeople in Core Competencies for Convergence)

  • Purpose - The aim of this study was to analyze the educational needs of distribution company salespeople in core competencies for convergence and their general perception of convergence education. Furthermore, this study provides basic data on core competencies for convergence needed by them. Research design, data, and methodology - A survey was conducted on 104 distribution company salespeople who worked near Seoul, Korea to analyze the perceptions of their educational needs in core competencies for convergence education, according to their socio-demographic characteristics. The socio-demographic characteristics were gender, age, workplace size, education background, work experience and business category. The questionnaire consisted of demographic factors (7 questions), general perception of convergence education (5 questions), perception of importance of core competency for distribution company salespeople (9 questions), and current perception of distribution company salespeople on core competency of convergence workers (9 questions). Park et al.(2014)'s categorization of convergence core competencies was used: Cognitive convergence (creative thinking, critical thinking and understanding of convergence knowledge), convergence performance (problem solving, communications, collaboration and application of convergence tools) and attitude toward convergence (empathy and responsibility). Data was collected through an independent sample of t-tests and a one-way analysis of variance and the Borich Needs Assessment Model was used to identify the educational needs of distribution company salespeople in the core competencies of convergence education. Results- The results show that the subjects recognized the need for convergence education to be high among the general perceptions. The perception scores for workers of different backgrounds only varied according to the size of the business. Moreover, the results of the educational needs analysis and the ranks of the required core competencies of convergence workers by the subjects were as follows: 1. convergence knowledge understanding competency, 2. creative thinking competency, 3. convergence tool application competency, 3. communications competency, 4. problem solving competency, 5. collaboration competency, 6. critical thinking competency, 7. empathy competency, 8. responsibility competency. Conclusions - This study highlights the necessity of developing university curriculum that can nurture the core competencies of conversion education reflecting distribution company salespeople's requests as well as cultivating qualified convergence workers required by distribution company workers.

간호학 문제중심학습에 기초한 창의성통합교육모형(C-PBL) 개발 및 효과 (Development of Creativity Integrated Problem-Based Learning Model for Nursing Education)

  • Purpose: This study aimed at (a) developing an instructional model of creative thinking education on the problem-based learning method (C-PBL) in undergraduate nursing curriculum at one University, and (b) examining its effect on nursing students' level of creativity and outcomes from problem-based learning. Methods: The C-PBL model was implemented on 43 juniors of the experimental group with a 30 hour-nursing class during one semester. The control group, with 54 seniors, received 4 hours of problem based learning training in an adult nursing class. Pre-and post-tests were done with the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking for creative thinking ability, the Integrated Creativity Instrument for creative motivation and attitudes, the Problem Solving Competency questionnaire, and the Self-Directed Learning Instrument. Results: The C-PBL model was developed using a caring situation scenario to solve nursing problems with 3 training steps of 'encountering a patient in a caring situation', 'exploring nursing knowledge', and 'designing creative caring beyond given knowledge'. Between the experimental group and the control group, there were significant differences in creativity (p<.010), problem-solving ability (p<.010), and self-directed ability (p<.010). Conclusion: This C-PBL method could contribute in increasing creative competency as well as problem-solving ability for nursing students.

예술창조 매커니즘을 통한 창조적 공학인의 육성 방안 연구 -교육 사례를 중심으로- (A Study of the method about Improving engineer by YeGamChang creating mechanism)

  • 사회변화의 속도와 경쟁의 속도는 급격히 빨라지고 고객이 요구하는 제품과 서비스 발전의 속도는 공급자의 속도가 따라잡을 수 없을 만큼 초 스피드로 성장하고 있다. 기업의 구체적 상품, 서비스를 구상하고 개발하고 제조하는 공학인은 이제 이전과는 다른 새로운 패러다임의 스피드한 창조 이행 능력을 발휘하는 상황으로 내몰려 있다. 이와 관련하여 집단 시스템이 따라 잡을 수 없는 고객 변화 속도를 개인 창조성으로 대체하고자 하는 개인 창조 이런 관점에서 창조성 개발, 향상은 사회적 변화와 특성을 소화해 내야 하는 공학인에게는 필수 자격 요건으로 받아 들여져야 한다. 즉 공학이 기존의 발명공학에 의존한 제품의 대량 양산 체제에서 기초 원리를 이용하여 다양한 관련 응용 제품을 발명 생산함은 물론 사회 구조의 변화에 대한 대응 서비스를 발명 생산하는 사회 공학적인 상품을 발명 생산하는 능력 까지 갖추어 대응해 줄 것을 요구 받게 된 것이다. 이를 위하여 공학인은 이전의 전문 지식 습득과 고도화 뿐만 아니라, 고객층의 사회 변화와 생활 변화 속에서 새롭게 출현하는 하드웨어와 소프트웨어, 인간 공학, 심리, 감성, 생활 패턴 등을 융합하여 새로운 제품과 서비스를 창안하여 재현하는 창조인이 되어야 한다. 이질적이고 영향력이 있는 무언가를 융합 창조해야만 하는 독창적이고 매우 흥미 있는 융합 창조인의 삶으로 이동하기를 요구당하고 있는 것이다. "융합창조인이란 고객 각자의 주관적이며 독창적인 욕구에 대하여, 치밀한 논리와 감각적인 정서의 대응은 물론 이슈를 둘러싼 관계망을 꿰뚫는 초월적 통찰력을 활용하여 새로운 가치를 창조하는 사람을 말한다. 본 논문은 "창조적 이행"을 촉진하기 위한 창조성 융합개발 프로그램이 기존 공학인에게 주는 가치가 어떤 것이며 어떻게 대응하는 것이 좋은가를 17주간에 걸쳐 이루어진 실험을 바탕으로 연구, 정리, 구성된 것이다. 60 시간의 예술창작 과정은 예술창조 매카니즘에 공학 가치창조 매커니즘이 결합하여 만들어낼 수 있는 창조이행의 성공적이며 비전있는 결과를 실험을 통하여 증명된 형태로 제시한다. "예술을 통한 융합, 창조인" 만들기 과정은 S그룹을 대상으로 하여 이미 검증된 결과를 바탕으로 더 속도 있는 사회 대응을 이루어낼 창조성 이행촉진을 이루는 더 깊은 연구방향과 활용방향을 준비하고, 그 준비된 미래를 이야기 하고자 한다.

A Study on the Development of Core Competency Diagnostic Tools for Professors at A' University

  • Purpose: This study attempted to systematize a support system that can enhance teaching core competencies by establishing a scale for diagnosing teaching core competencies at University A. Research design, data and methodology : To this end, the first Delphi was conducted With six experts related to university core competency modeling research by extracting factors and designing structured questionnaires through a literature review process that collects and analyzes prior research related to domestic and foreign university teaching competency. The derived questions were diagnosed on 27 professors, and independent sample t-verification and ANOVA were conducted using SPSS 24.0 for analysis by key teaching competency factors. Result: What is the standard suitability of KMO. It was shown as 929 (KMO standard conformity value is close to 1), and Barlett's sphericity verification showed χ2=5773.295, df=1081, p<.It appeared as 001 and confirmed that it was suitable for conducting factor analysis. Conclusions: The core competencies of A University teachers were set based on the educational goals of A University, such as basic teaching competency, creative teaching competency, practical teaching competency, and communication teaching competency. This means that the concept and factors of the core competency of professors are likely to change, and in the end, continuous efforts to upgrade and apply research on core competency of professors are essential to quickly and organically respond to changes in competency required to increase the competitiveness of universities.

개인 창의성이 지식공유와 혁신행동에 미치는 영향: 유통업 종사자를 중심으로 (The Effect of Personal Creativity on Knowledge Sharing and Innovation Behavior: Focused on Retail Workers)

  • Purpose - First, empirical research will reveal how personal creativity affects the knowledge sharing and innovation behaviors of organizational members. Second, self-management competency will be verified to explain the causal relationship between independent and dependent variables as a mediating variable and to reduce the time interval. Research design, data, and methodology - There are two major research models. First, personal creativity (professionalism, emotional intelligence, internal motivation) has a positive impact on knowledge sharing (creation of knowledge, organization of knowledge, use of knowledge) and innovation behavior (deriving ideas, implementing ideas, promoting ideas). Second, self-management competency (intellectual capacity, emotional capacity, personality capacity) plays a mediating role. In addition to descriptive statistics and correlation analysis, Cronbach's α was calculated for 259 workers in the retail industry. In addition, confirmatory factor analysis was performed using the AMOS 24.0 program, and the influence on the measurement model was analyzed to verify the structural equation model. Results - First, personal creativity had a positive effect on knowledge sharing and innovation behavior. In other words, it was confirmed that the decision-making process accompanied by individual creativity can create an atmosphere of knowledge sharing and continue to innovate. Second, personal creativity had a positive effect on self-management competency, and self-management competency had a positive effect on knowledge sharing and innovation behavior. Third, self-management competency was found to partially mediate the influence of personal creativity on knowledge sharing and innovation behavior. Conclusions - First, it is important for managers to recognize the value of creative talents who can be a fundamental source of organizational success and competitive advantage, and to attract talented people. Second, managers should be able to develop decision-making processes to develop potential creativity and encourage creative ideas, opinions, or solutions when organizing the work environment of their members. Third, managers should promote the sharing and integration of new knowledge that underlies the creative views and attitudes of teams and organizational members. Unlike previous studies, which emphasize the role of the work environment in which creative behaviors are promoted, this study shows that creativity of individual members, itself, is an important determinant of knowledge sharing and innovation behavior.

A Curriculum of a Subject of Enneagram for Developing Key Competency of University Students

  • This paper is to propose a curriculum of a subject of Enneagram which is to be open to develop key competency of university students. In the modern days of the 4th industrial revolution universities are being called for key competency-based education and innovation in education. Universities suggested various key competencies according to the university's founding philosophies. And they have been reorganizing the liberal arts curriculum in a way that it can reinforce key competencies of the students in the aspect of liberal arts education. In this paper, an example of C university which has 3 key competencies such as, citizenship, character, and creative intelligence was presented. Enneagram is a good candidate for developing self-development which is sub-competency of character.
