In a paper by Hou Jicheng, On some KKM type theorems, Advaces in Mathematics 36 (2007), no. 1, 86-88, the author claimed that some previous KKM type theorems are false by giving a counterexample. In the present paper, we show that the counterexample does not work and, consequently, the results are correct. Moreover, we claim that the artificial concept like transfer compactly closed-valued maps can be destroyed. Finally, we introduce a theorem generalizing the main target of Hou.

This study is written with a purpose to foresee the changes of way of life in the 21st century trough recognizing an environment based on a correct ecological world-view and to create environmental design of seeing the nature and humans as one organism. This study is focused especially in environmental design and written generally based on urban ecology human ecology cultural ecology and plant ecology with this multi-interdisciplanary approach,. To understand meaning of ecosytem by considering the theory of ecology for ecological approach of the environmental design and to grope for possibility of applying environmental design by considering what to analyze and how to differenciate concept for ecological environmental plan from the mechanical design. Through this study it was realized that the ecological design starts from the recognistion of seeing the humans and nature as a one and form being aware of signficance of all the living things in our surrounding environment.

Because of the social and political reasons, Chinese design higher education has come a long and difficult road. Before and after the Reform and Opening-up, Chinese design higher education system has gone through two different models: "Arts and Crafts" and "Arts & Design". By comparing external environment and Education Concept of two models, this paper points out that the correct direction of design higher education reform is to understand and learn the advantages of two education systems.

The metathesaurus(UMLS, 2003AA edition) supports multi language and includes 875, 233 concepts, 2, 146, 897 concept names. It is impossible for PubMed or NLM serve searching of the metatheaurus to retrieval using a query that is not to be text, a fault sentence structure or a part of concept name. That means the user notice correctly suitable medical words in order to get correct answer, otherwise she or he can't find information that they want to find I propose that the method of searching unified medical language system using automatic modified a query for problem that I mentioned. This method use dictionary that is standard for automation of modified query gauge similarity between query and dictionary using string comparison algorithm. And then, the tested term converse the form of metathesaurus for optimized result. For the evaluation of method, I select some query and I contrast NLM method that renewed Aug. 2003.

This paper proposes an on-line Recognition scheme of cursive Korean characters based on the DP matching and fuzzy concept. The proposed algorithm, invariant to rotation and size, reduces greatly the computational requirement of dynamic programming by matching phonemes rather than character patterns, where the angle difference and the ration of lengths between input and reference patterns are adopted as matching features. The correct matching of poorly written cursive characters becomes possible by introducing the fuzzy concept in representing the features of phonemes and the ralative position between adjacent phonemes. Computer simulation results are observed to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Spinal cord injury (SCI) has a significant negative effect on the quality of life due to permanent neurologic damage and economic burden by continuous treatment and rehabilitation. However, determining the correct approach to ensure optimal clinical outcomes can be challenging and remains highly controversial. In particular, with the introduction of the concept of early decompression in brain pathology, the discussion of the timing of decompression in SCI has emerged. In addition to that, the concept of "time is spine" has been added recently, and the mortality and complications caused by SCI have been reduced by providing timely and professional treatment to patients. However, there are many difficulties in establishing international clinical guidelines for the timing of early decompression in SCI because policies for each country and medical institution differ according to the circumstances of medical infrastructure and economic conditions in the surgical treatment of SCI. Therefore, we aim to provide a current review of timing of early decompression in patient with SCI.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the problems caused by the lack of institutional establishment of broadcasting contents' concept, to present the categories and significance of broadcast contents concepts, and to promote discussions on defining broadcasting contents concepts. As the pattern of enjoying contents becomes fragmented, broadcasting contents such as dramas, entertainment, and documentaries are enjoyed in various ways through N-screens, beyond the distribution structure of the traditional broadcasting industry. But, the concept of broadcasting contents is subordinate to(or even absent from) the distribution structure of the broadcasting industry. This paper seeks to correct this problem by proposing a new definition of broadcasting contents. First of all, as a result of looking at the need to define the concept of broadcasting contents in various ways in principle, legal, and industrial aspects, broadcasting contents needed to be defined as a new concept independent of broadcasting media. Based on this, the existing discussions on the concept and type of broadcasting contents were reviewed to confirm the direction for establishing broadcasting contents concepts, and to define broadcasting contents into higher categories (liberal arts, entertainment), and lower categories ('documentaries, current affairs, education', 'dramas, animation, music, variety, sports').

Purpose: Although ethical dilemma is important concept in nursing and many research is accomplished, some difference in defining ethical dilemma among researchers. Therefore the purpose of this analysis was to correct understanding and using about ethical dilemma by clarify the attributes of ethical dilemma. Method: The concept analysis model suggested by Walker and Avant(1988) is used to clarify what is meant by the term 'ethical dilemma'. Results: The defining attributes of ethical dilemma identified in this study were as follows. First, It is simultaneously occurrence that above two conflictive ethical alternatives. Second, It is ought to choose one of the above two conflictive ethical alternatives. Third, It is difficult to compare with two alternatives. Fourth, It is cannot delay the choices. Fifth, It is cannot do satisfactory resolution. Six, It is broken out fix, loss or feeling of powerlessness to an individual. Conclusion: In this study, a concept analysis of ethical dilemma was performed to more clearly understand ethical dilemma. It is hoped that this analysis will stimulate further study for developing strategies for prevention of nurses' ethical dilemma.

In a goal-oriented dialogue, spoken' intentions can be represented by domain actions that consist of pairs of a speech art and a concept sequence. The domain action prediction of user's utterance is useful to correct some errors that occur in a speech recognition process, and the domain action prediction of system's utterance is useful to generate flexible responses. In this paper, we propose a model to predict a domain action of the next utterance using a neural network. The proposed model predicts the next domain action by using a dialogue history vector and a current domain action as inputs of the neural network. In the experiment, the proposed model showed the precision of 80.02% in speech act prediction and the precision of 82.09% in concept sequence prediction.

An analytical solution based on the neutral surface concept is developed to study the free vibration behavior of simply supported functionally graded plate reposed on the elastic foundation by taking into account the effect of transverse shear deformations. No transversal shear correction factors are needed because a correct representation of the transversal shearing strain obtained by using a new refined shear deformation theory. The foundation is described by the Winkler-Pasternak model. The Young's modulus of the plate is assumed to vary continuously through the thickness according to a power law formulation, and the Poisson ratio is held constant. The equation of motion for FG rectangular plates resting on elastic foundation is obtained through Hamilton's principle. Numerical examples are provided to show the effect of foundation stiffness parameters presented for thick to thin plates and for various values of the gradient index, aspect and side to thickness ratio. It was found that the proposed theory predicts the fundamental frequencies very well with the ones available in literature.
