This study is intended to determine that there is a casual relationship between technological innovation capability and new product development performance in small and mid-sized venture companies, and that the introduction of collaboration as a means to step up technological innovation capability will improve new product development performance. To achieve this, a survey was carried out to employees who are engaged in R&D work for small and mid-sized venture companies based in Korea, and the results were analyzed by regression analysis. The findings showed that technology strategy, technology learning and open innovation belonging to technological innovation capability in small and mid-sized venture companies had an effect on new product development performance. In other words, the selection of collaboration as a wider array of core strategies on new product development performance showed that collaboration was a strategy affecting new product development performance. In addition, the moderating role of technological innovation capability in boosting new product development performance through the introduction of collaboration showed that common collaboration had a positive effect on stepping up technology strategy, and collaboration as a core strategy had a positive effect on the size of new product development performance by strengthening technology strategy and open innovation.

This study verifies a simple research question such as how the core factors of social capital impact the citizen's participation in the regional festival and suggests some agenda related to this issues. The result of this study show the necessity of some effective policy to help regional festival operating more citizen-oriented way which could lead citizen more corporative to the festival. Also Strengthening regional social capital could be the core factor to establish sustainability of regional society. Well-established social capital make regional festival more successful and regional economy more affluence. So Local Government have to make her various efforts to establish and activate social capital in regional level.

Background: Cigarette smoking is one of the leading global causes of premature and preventable death. In Brunei Darussalam, smoking-related diseases have been a primary cause of mortality for the past three decades. Despite the increasing efforts that have been made in recent years to reduce the consumption of tobacco products in Brunei, the prevalence of adolescent smoking cigarette, however has risen alarmingly, from 8.9% in 2013 to 11.4% in 2014, with a higher prevalence found in males (17.8%) than in females (4.8%). In response to the need for more effective smoking prevention programmes in Brunei, this study sought to explore factors that influence Bruneian male adolescents to start and continue smoking. Materials and Methods: A qualitative study using focus group discussions (FGDs) as the data collection method was conducted from October to November 2015. A total of 43 studentss, comprising 31 smokers and 12 non-smokers, aged 13-17 years, from two government secondary schools in Bandar Seri Begawan, participated in six FGDs. Discussions were recorded and translated. Transcripts were entered into NVivo10, before thematic analysis was conducted. Results: We identified three themes under the core construct of 'factors influencing smoking initiation' ('family as teachers', 'overt pressure from peers' and 'perceived smoking has many advantages') and three themes under the core construct of 'factors influencing smoking continuation' ('craving and addiction', 'smoking as a 'social activity' and 'easy accessibility of cigarettes'). Conclusions: Based on the findings, it is recommended that future prevention activities should be embedded in a comprehensive approach, involving all stakeholders within a community, and should be focused towards bringing a change in smoking and parenting behavior of parents, social norms within the culture towards all population levels, and at strengthening the existing non-smoking policies in schools and other public places where young people congregate.

The drone market in Korea is growing with a focus on the use of prevention, defense, exploration and surveying, search and rescue, video shooting, and facility management. However, the foreign dependence on drone's core technologies and components is high. Drone-powered countries such as the US and China are expanding the weaponization of drones, which can intensify trade wars between countries, such as strengthening import and export regulations and monopoly. Therefore, Korea should put R & D and localization of core technology, parts, and accessories of next generation drone first. For this, policy research and investment in infrastructure, equipment, and research personnel should be preceded. This study studied the evaluation of investment priorities by infrastructure sector (facility equipment, utilization field, and demand manpower) to foster small drone companies through literature studies. To this end, we expanded and reclassified e isting research, developed investment prioritization indicators through expert group interviews and reviews, derived future uncertainties, and selected investment priorities by infrastructure sector using AHP techniques. Finally, it proposed an infrastructure construction strategy to foster small drone companies in terms of drone development support, utilization support.

Many businesses have adopted the standard security management structure such as ISO27001 and K-ISMS for strengthening business's security management structure to protect their core information assets and have acquired partial output from such effort. However, many risk factors such as recent advances in Information Technology and evolution of intrusion methods have increased exponentially requiring the businesses to response even more quickly with better accuracy. For such purpose, a study of 'Real Time Security Management Structure for Business' based on security management process optimization, defining a set of security index for managing core security area and calculation of risk indices for precognition of intrusion risk area has been made. Also, a survey on opinions of an expert panel has been conducted. The effectiveness of studied structure was analyzed using AHP method as well. Using this study, security personnels of a company can improve efficiency of the preemptive responsive and quicker measure from the current security management structure.

Shipping and logistics safety, security system is strengthening worldwide, the development of shipping and logistics safety security core technology for national security logistics system construction has been carried out. In addition, it is necessary to localize the Array Detection System, which is a core component of the container search machine, to cope with the 100% pre-inspection of the container scheduled for 2018 in the United States. In this research, we propose a test software program developed by using TI-RTOS (Texas Instruments - Real Time Operating System) with a test digital signal processing board which is developed self development. We have developed a program that can test GPIO, SRAM, TCP/IP, and SDcard using M4 MCU. Also we propose a study on a self-developed Digital Signal Processing Board among the array detection systems that replace foreign products. We have developed a test board that can test M4 MCU and developed an X-Ray Detector Digital Signal Processing Board that combines MCU and FPGA.

Purpose: This study was conducted to derive a substantive theory on lived experiences of elderly cancer patients. Methods: The data were collected from February to March 2018 through in-depth personal interviews with 14 elderly cancer patients. The collected data were analyzed based on Corbin and Strauss's grounded theory. Results: The core category was "the journey to find balance in daily lives as a cancer patient by recovering disturbed ego integrity." The core phenomenon was "shattered by suffering from cancer," and the causal conditions were "physical change" and "limitations in daily life." The contextual conditions were "decreased self-esteem," "feelings of guilt toward the family," and the sense of "economic burden." The participants' action and interaction strategies were "maintaining or avoiding social relations," "seeking meaning of the illness," "falling into despair," and "strengthening the willingness to battle the cancer." The intervening conditions were "support from health care providers and family," "dissatisfaction with health care providers," "spiritual help from religion," and "the improvement or worsening of health conditions." The consequences were "having a new insight for life," "living positively along with cancer illness," and "the loss of willingness to live." A summary of the series of processes includes the "crisis stage," "reorganizing stage," and the "ego integration stage." Conclusion: This study explored the holistic process of ego integrity impairment and the recovery experience of elderly cancer patients. This study is expected to be used as a basis for the development of nursing interventions that can support patients when coping with all stages of their cancer illness trajectory.

Greeting the globalization and information period of 21C, the improvement of the distributional system structure and modernization of publishing distribution are the seriously required periodic assignments for the publishing industry that is a national knowledge and culture industry to be equipped with the core competitiveness. First, it is to found a large distributional organization that is able to provide total logistics services in time that is essential to the publishing company and bookstore. Second, it is to have a logistics service to act up to the variable requirements of customers such as publishing companies and bookstores under the rapidly changing distribution environment. Third, it is to provide the standardized information of publishing distribution. It is needed to establish a total distributional center in collaboration to satisfy the requirements of publishing industry as above. By doing this work, structure of the publishing distribution system can be improved and its constitution can be strengthen, and it is possible not only to construct a stable supply system but also to realize an information-based system in the publishing industry with the construction of information system and its utilization. Furthermore, the application of RFID in the publishing distribution is essentially required to provide the symbolic model and logistics infrastructure into the 'Paju publishing culture information industrial complex'. It could be possible by growing the international recognition regarding distribution environment and strengthening the international competitiveness in the period of the ""Open door".

The purpose of this study is to construct the "open" instructional model that might be used properly in mathematics classroom. In this study, the core philosophy of "openness" in mathematics instruction is looked upon as the transference itself from pursuing simply strengthening the function of instruction such as effectiveness in the management of educational environment into the understanding of the nature of mathematics learning and the pursuing of true effectiveness in mathematics learning. It means, in other words, this study is going to accept the "openness" as functional readiness to open all the possibility among the conditions of educational environment for the purpose of realizing maximum learning effectiveness. With considering these concepts, this study regards open mathematics education as simply one section among the spectrum of mathematics education, thus could be included in the category of mathematics education. The model for open instruction in mathematics classroom, constructed in this study, has the following virtues: This model (1) suggests integrated view of open mathematics instruction that could adjust the individual and sporadic views recently constructed about open mathematics instruction; (2) could suggest structural approach for the construction of open mathematics instruction program; (3) could be used in other way as a method for evaluation open mathematics instruction program.thematics instruction program.
