기업간 네트워크와 산업집적지의 성장특성 -한국 컴퓨터산업을 사례로- (Spatial Chracteristics of the Inter-firm Networks in the Industrial Clusters in Seoul : Focus on Computer Industry)

  • This paper investigates the spatial characteristics of networks, which arise as a firm's strategy to enhance its competitiveness to cope with the changing economic environments characterized by technological changes and increasing competitiveness. The theoretical framework in this study proposes that networks emerge as a firm's strategies to promote its competitiveness through the vertical/horizontal disintegration of the production system. Futhermore, regional industries of networks. The study examines the types of cooperation and the spatial boundary of the computer industry networks in Korea. Questionnaire survey was conducted on 1, 128 computer companies which had more than 10 employees, with 126 questionnaires being used for analysis. In addition, newpaper articles were used to supplement the foregoing work on network characteristics. The review of these articles covers the period from Jan. 1994 to June 1996. Major findings of this study are as follows: The spatial range of cooperative networks varies according to the specific characters of cooperation(R & D, production, and seles). Intralocal networks are being developed in Kangnam and Youido area, the computer industry agglomeration clusres of Seoul. There are the regional differnces in the agents and contents of cooperation. In intra-national R & D and production networks, regional differnces in agglomeratins and non-agglomerations are not detercted. Most networks of this type are found between large firms and small firms. In contrast, foregn R & D and production networks, which are operated mostly by large firms, are found in Kangnam, Youido, and CBD. Intra-national and foreign productino networks are also focused in Kangnam, Youido, and CBD. Small firms are playing an active role in making this type of cooperation possible. In the perspective of localization-globalization, Korean computer industry can be analyzed in two respects: industrial and regional. The localization of small firms and the localization-globalization of large firms' networks are being developed in industrial contexts, while the localization-globalization of agglomerations and the localization of non-agglomerations networks are being developed in regional contexts. As networks for the localization-globalization of industry are growing in agglomerations, interfirm networks could be related to trends in the formation or intensification of industrial agglomerations. industrial agglomeration areas function as a facilitator of localization through subcontracts, intraregional network and interregional network. They also facilitate globalization via foregn networks. In non-agglomeratin areas, localization networks, which are connected with agglomeration areas via subcontracting, interregional R & D. or production cooperation.

진화방식을 이용한 N명 반복적 죄수 딜레마 게임의 협동연합에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Cooperative Coalition in N-person Iterated Prisoner's Dilemma Game using Evolutionary)

  • 자연계의 많은 합리적인 이기적 개체들 사이에는 수많은 선택적 갈등이 존재한다. 반복적 죄수의 딜레마(Iterated Prisoner's Dilemma: IPD)게임은 합리적인 이기적 개체들 사이의 경쟁과 협동에 대한 선택적 갈등을 다루는데, 사회, 경제 및 생물 시스템에서 협동의 진화를 연구하는데 사용되어 왔다. 이제까지는 게임자의 수와 협동의 관계, 기계학습의 일환으로서의 전략학습, 그리고 이득함수가 협동에 미치는 영향 등에 관한 연구가 있었는데, 이 논문에서는 진화방식을 이용하여 이득함수에 따른 협동연합의 크기와 지역화가 NIPD(N-player IPD)게임에서 협동의 진화에 미치는 영향에 대해 밝히고자 한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 협동개체에 대한 이득함수의 기울기가 배반에 대한 이득함수의 기울기보다 급하거나 최소 연합의 크기가 작을수록 협동연합의 정도가 높게 나타나며 상호작용하는 이웃의 크기가 작을수록 협동연합의 정도가 높게 진화됨을 알 수 있었다.

CONTINUOUS PERSON TRACKING ACROSS MULTIPLE ACTIVE CAMERAS USING SHAPE AND COLOR CUES

  • This paper proposed a framework for handover method in continuously tracking a person of interest across cooperative pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras. The algorithm here is based on a robust non-parametric technique for climbing density gradients to find the peak of probability distributions called the mean shift algorithm. Most tracking algorithms use only one cue (such as color). The color features are not always discriminative enough for target localization because illumination or viewpoints tend to change. Moreover the background may be of a color similar to that of the target. In our proposed system, the continuous person tracking across cooperative PTZ cameras by mean shift tracking that using color and shape histogram to be feature distributions. Color and shape distributions of interested person are used to register the target person across cameras. For the first camera, we select interested person for tracking using skin color, cloth color and boundary of body. To handover tracking process between two cameras, the second camera receives color and shape cues of a target person from the first camera and using linear color calibration to help with handover process. Our experimental results demonstrate color and shape feature in mean shift algorithm is capable for continuously and accurately track the target person across cameras.

비협동 양상태 소나 시스템을 위한 펄스식별 자동화 기법 연구 (A Study on the Automatic Pulse Classification Method for Non-cooperative Bi-static Sonar System)

  • Recently there is a great interest in the bi-static sonar. However, since the transmitter and the receiver operate on different platforms, it may be necessary to operate the system in a non-cooperative mode. In this situation, the detection and localization performance are limited. Therefore, it is necessary to classify the received pulse from the transmitter to overcome the performance limitation. In this paper, we proposed a robust automatic pulse classification method that can be applied to real systems. The proposed method eliminates the effects of noise and multipath propagation through post-processing and improves the pulse classification performance. We also verified the proposed method through the sea experimental data.

Contemporary treatment with radiosurgery for spine metastasis and spinal cord compression in 2015

  • With the progress of image-guided localization, body immobilization system, and computerized delivery of intensity-modulated radiation delivery, it became possible to perform spine radiosurgery. The next question is how to translate the high technology treatment to the clinical application. Clinical trials have been performed to demonstrate the feasibility of spine radiosurgery and efficacy of the treatment in the setting of spine metastasis, leading to the randomized trials by a cooperative group. Radiosurgery has also demonstrated its efficacy to decompress the spinal cord compression in selected group of patients. The experience indicates that spine radiosurgery has a potential to change the clinical practice in the management of spine metastasis and spinal cord compression.

친환경농업정책 분야의 거버넌스 체계 구축방안 (Schemes for Constructing the System of Environmentally Friendly Agri-policy Governance)

  • Governance systems are basically an autonomous cooperation type among the government, civil society and market, also a new paradigm for efficient and democratic administration of policies. The governance mainly consists of the central operating body, institutions, operating principles and so on. The constituents are the nation(government), civil society(NGO) and market(firm). Institutional conditions are a legitimate base, financial stability and independency. And as a operating principle, governance systems have common goals and issues from a national and social point of view. This governance has been recently emerged due to financial risk of government, diffusion of new liberalism going with the globalization, localization-decentralization, and development of civil society and information-oriented society. We have to grope fur the framework of participatory agri- policy confronting globalization and localization as well as developing our agriculture and rural village. This agri-policy governance should be theoretically focused on policy network or self-organizing network or multi-lateral governance (MLG) based on NPM. Also, it is proper to have connection of nation-central type and civil society-central type. And it is necessary to have a MLG type with local governance corresponding to localization and decentralization. Governance should have the type whose participants have authority and responsibility as well. Basic directions of environmentally friendly agri-policy governance are as follows : first, its purposes are constructing the democratic and efficient framework of participatory environmentally friendly agri-policy based on consensus of all the related groups, embodying environmentally friendly agri-policy adjusted to local field, raising farmer's real interest, and improving their position. Second, its form should have a council or an agreement system, not an advisory or a consultation organ. Thus, public sector(eg. government) and voluntary sector(eg. farmers' organization) jointly execute agricultural policy and are responsible together. Environmentally friendly agri-policy governance is mainly made up of farmers' organization, cooperative and civil society(NGO). And secondary bodies are agribusinesses and academic groups. Government interacts with the main bodies on administrative execution. And environmentally friendly agri-policy governance has MLG type with a central unit, province and county units. Environmentally friendly agri-policy governance has several main functions such as agri-policy partnership, speaking for farmer's rights and interests, investigation and research on domestic and foreign agricultural streams, and etc. Especially, local unit will play roles in activation for regional agriculture, consulting on technique and management, education and training services, services entrusted by government, and so on.

상하 회전형 차동 구동부를 이용한 자기 유도 무인운반차 (Magnetic Guidance Vehicle using Up-and-down Rotating Type Differential Drive Unit)

  • 본 논문은 상하 회전형 차동 구동부를 이용한 자기 유도 무인운반차에 대한 연구이다. 기존의 자기 유도 무인운반차는 주행 정보를 얻기 위해 자기 위치측정 센서 외에 랜드마크 및 이를 인식하기 위한 추가적인 센서가 필요하다. 또한, 일반적으로 사용되는 고정형 차동 구동부를 사용할 경우 자기 유도 무인운반차의 무게 불균형으로 인해 위치측정 오차의 증가 및 제어에 어려움이 존재하므로 2개 이상의 구동부를 필요로 한다. 이러한 단점들을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 상하 회전형 차동 구동부를 이용한 자기 유도 무인운반차를 제안한다. 제안된 무인운반차는 주행 경로상에 자석의 양극으로 패턴을 구성하고 자기 위치측정 센서로 주행 정보를 획득하며, 하나의 상하 회전형 차동 구동부를 이용하여 후진 주행을 제어한다. 또한, 위치측정 오차의 감소를 위해 KF(Kalman filter)를 적용하여 무인운반차의 위치측정 정밀도를 향상시킨다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 확인하기 위하여 직접 제작한 자기 유도 무인운반차를 이용하여 실험하였다. 실험 결과, 제안된 방법의 패턴 인식 및 무인운반차의 후진 주행 성능을 확인할 수 있었으며, 기존의 방법보다 위치측정 정밀도의 RMSE가 더 감소된 것을 확인하였다.

LRF 기반의 스캔매칭을 위한 회전오차에 강인한 대응점 탐색 기법 (Searching Methods of Corresponding Points Robust to Rotational Error for LRF-based Scan-matching)

  • 본 논문은 모바일 로봇의 SLAM(Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) 구현 시 사용되는 스캔매칭을 위한 회전오차에 강인한 대응점 탐색 기법을 제시한다. 많은 모바일 로봇의 연구에 차동구동방식의 구동부가 사용되는데, 이는 곡선 주행이나 제자리 회전을 위해 두 모터의 속력을 다르게 하거나, 반대 방향으로 제어하게 된다. 이러한 경우 직선 주행에 비해 비교적 바퀴의 미끄러짐 현상(Wheel Slip)을 심화시켜 모바일 로봇의 누적 위치 오차를 증가시키는 요인이 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 모바일 로봇의 회전 반경을 기반으로 최근접점을 추출하는 대응점 탐색 기법을 통해 스캔매칭 성능을 향상시키고자 한다. 제안된 방법의 검증을 위해 LRF(Laser Range Finder)를 이용해 실험을 진행하였으며, 기존 알고리즘에 주로 적용되는 유클리디안 최근접점 기반의 대응점 탐색 알고리즘과 비교한 결과, 제안된 대응점 탐색 기법이 보다 정확하게 대응점 집합을 추출하는 것을 확인했다.

일본의 농촌지도사업 현황과 우리에게 주는 시사점 (Current Status of Cooperative Agricultural Extension Services in Japan and Its Implication for Korean Extension System)

  • The objectives of this study were 1) to review the current status of cooperative extension services in Japan, and 2) to draw implications for improving Korean agricultural extension system. Faced with various problems since its localization of extension services in 1997, Korean agricultural extension needs to be improved and strengthened in order to continually achieve the national goals of food production, balanced national development and preservation of environment, at the same time to meet increasing needs of farmers. The results of the study revealed the major characteristics of agricultural extension services in Japan as follows; 1) Each agricultural extension centers were administratively and technically coordinated by the prefectural (provincial) government, 2) There were 11 public corporations with agricultural extension functions under the MAFF(Ministry of Agricultural Forestry and Fisheries) financed by government subsidies 3) Agricultural experiment stations at provincial level were responsible for developing agricultural innovations for farmers' adoption, 4) The functions and operation of the agricultural extension centers were independent from the local agricultural administration. Some of the implications drawn from the study were as follows; 1) In order to accomplish major objectives of agricultural extension services in Korea legal status of agricultural extension centers should be changed from city/county to provincial government, 2) It would be desirable to establish public corporations concerned with agricultural extension under the Rural Development Administration, 3) Provincial Rural Development Administration should be reinforced in terms of applied farming research and diffusion of new technology, 4) Agricultural extension centers should be independent from administrative function and be separated from administration at the city/county level.

해외도시개발 협력의 정서적 요소에 관한 연구 (A Study on Emotional Factors of the Overseas Urban Development Cooperation)

  • 해외도시개발은 선진국이 해외시장을 개척하고, 개도국이 당면한 도시문제를 해결할 수 있는 바람직한 솔루션임에도 불구하고 위험성이 높다. 선진국과 개도국은 서로간에 잘 알지 못하기 때문에 위험성이 높은 과업을 착수하기에는 신뢰가 부족한 경우가 있다. 본 연구는 양자 간의 신뢰를 향상시킬 수 있는 협력 프레임워크를 구축하고자 한다. 결론적으로 신뢰구축을 위해서는 작은 규모라도 협업을 반복하는 경험을 쌓는 것이 중요하다. 신뢰의 감정은 카리스마와 공감이라는 기제를 통해 구축할 수 있다. 카리스마는 반복적인 성공과 성과에 대한 지속적인 노출이 중요한 역할을 하며, 공감은 공동작업과 공간의 공유가 중요하다. 이것은 협업이라는 공통점을 가진다. 다섯 개의 해외도시개발사례를 분석하여 카리스마와 공감의 기제를 적용하였으며 이를 통해 해외도시개발 협력 프레임워크를 구축하였다.
