The International Research Cooperation Information Center has carried out a project to collect the DBs related to the international research cooperation information, and build an online service system. This study seeks to examine and understand the trends of international research cooperation by analyzing the data corresponding to the other international cooperation DBs such as symposium and seminar, which may be said to be the arena of cooperation by the international research cooperation related experts, among the international research cooperation information DBs collected by the International Research Cooperation Information Center. The other international cooperation DBs are divided into the international cooperation consortium, international cooperation symposium, international research cooperation seminar, international training program, international research cooperation workshop, and the international research cooperation equipment / facility. It seems that, based on the research results, it is necessary to hold international cooperation programs, seminars, and workshops, among others, with a focus on the themes to recover the trends of international cooperation as in the past, and recover from the pandemic situation. The results of this study may be utilized as the basic data for the researchers related to the international research cooperation, and furthermore, by analyzing various international research cooperation information DBs in a multi-faceted manner, the studies analyzing the research trends of international research cooperation by field, subject, and type may be conducted, and the facilitation of the international research cooperation in Korea is expected moving forward.
Purpose - Because of the emphasis on the necessity of academic-industrial cooperation between companies and universities, there are various ongoing academic-industrial cooperation programs led by the government. As government actively supports such cooperation as policy,and universities vitalize new technology development, academic-industrial cooperation between companies and universities is being recognized as an important growth engine for companies the competitiveness of academic-industrial cooperation is also attracting more interest. The government has vitalized human resource fostering, practical R&D, and technology transfer to companies since 2012 by executing a "leading university fostering project for academic-industrial cooperation." Based on an organic interlink among universities, industry, and research institutes, the government also created and is promoting several models of such cooperation between companies and universities to support shared growth of industry and local universities. The purpose of academic-industrial cooperation is growth and benefit fromtechnology development, technical cooperation, and technology transfer between companies and universities. Research design, data, and methodology - As more academic-industrial cooperation efforts are ledby companies due to the limitation in technology-focused commercialization cooperation, the academic-industrial cooperation system became fragmented and it is losing the potential for future advancement. Specifically, as differences between universities grow, academic-industrial cooperation between companies and universities based on new technology from universities is finding difficulty advancing,while systematic support from companies to enhance the performance of businesses created by academic-industrial cooperation is also insufficient. Accordingly, this study established a growth model for the advancement of academic-industrial cooperation between companies and universities and suggested a plan to strengthen the competitiveness and promote the future advancementof academic-industrial cooperation between companies and universities by analyzing the current situation of such cooperation and diagnosing its issues. Results - This study explored the concept and current status of academic-industrial cooperation relationships and analyzed related issues. For such cooperative organizations to be competitive, the employment environment of professional human resources for academic-industrial cooperation should be improved and measures to secure professional resources should be taken as early as possible. Though the academic-industrial cooperation now is being led by government, there is a limitation based on business models, which require creation of profit; however, an academic-industrial cooperation model still cannot stand alone without the support of government. This study also pointed out that a having only a plan to build competitiveness of companies and universities for academic-industrial cooperation is not sufficient. Conclusions - In order to increase the competitiveness of academic-industrial cooperation, a detailed growth-sharing model for academic-industrial cooperation should be developed, and there should be more joint development processes for the advancement of such cooperation in which the need for technology development can be verified in advance. In addition, beyond focusing on technology-focused academic-industrial cooperation, a network between companies and universities searching for ideas for academic-industrial cooperation in the fields of human and social aspects should be created. A new academic-industrial model linking current cooperation between companies and universities to the local area should be built based on such academic-industrial cooperation in human and social fields.
This study analyzed the effect of cooperation activities among SMEs. In order to study empirical analysis, we classified the types of cooperation into four dimensions: technology cooperation, human resource cooperation, sales cooperation and financial cooperation. Review the role of the collaborative philosophy as a predictor. This study also analyzed the relationship between cooperation philosophy, cooperation activities and performance. The results of this study are as follows: First, the result of path analysis between cooperation philosophy and cooperation activities shows that cooperation philosophy has an important influence on technical cooperation, human resource cooperation, sales cooperation and financial cooperation. Second, the results of the relationship between cooperation activities and achievements, technical cooperation, human resource cooperation, and sales cooperation have an important influence on cooperation performance. The meaning of this study is as follows. Analyze empirical tests using the PSBP model from a partnership perspective. We are trying to verify the relationship with SMEs. Therefore, we can suggest a beneficial implication to explain the importance of cooperation activities between SMEs. Also, SME business units have a problem with technical information leakage when they form partnerships, but in order to overcome this problem, we can use cooperative philosophies and avoid negative views.
Sub-region cooperation is necessary based on the condition that China-Japan-Korea free trade area has not been established. Shandong has common interests with Koreain economic and trade cooperation and it has been equipped with prominent external environment and industrial advantages in sub-region cooperation. The article discusses the advantages, the specific patterns, the cooperation contents and the matched government measures of sub-region cooperation between Shandong and Korea, with the purpose of modifying the relevant policies launched by government.

TThe cooperation on disaster prevention between the two Koreas has been mostly focused on cooperation at the recovery stage, such as emergency relief supplies and equipment support. This study aims to articulate future practical development plans by analyzing disaster cooperation between North and South Korea in accordance with the changing paradigm of international disaster cooperation. Considering the specificity of inter-Korean cooperation, the Framework for Inter-Korean Disaster Prevention Cooperation was established centering on the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. The framework consists of understanding and sharing disaster risks, building back better, strengthening community resilience, and supporting regional disaster action plans for continuous action. Inter-Korean disaster prevention cooperation requires sharing information about North Korean disasters. It is necessary to accurately identify and support social vulnerability to North Korean disasters. Above all, it is supporting the development of disaster action plans from a humanitarian perspective needs. A medium-to-long term resilience reinforcement plan that North Korea can resolve on its own is also needed. Since North Korea is also deeply interested in international disaster cooperation, it should be based on the direction of the Sendai Framework. Considering the uniqueness of inter-Korean cooperation, a path for North Korea to actively participate in international disaster cooperation should be established.

In this paper, we derive the performance analysis of the coded cooperation over a Rician fading channel. A new scheme called coded cooperation was suggested by using user cooperation and channel codes simultaneously. In previous works, it was verified that the coded cooperation schemes have better performance than other relay schemes in a Rayleigh fading channel. However, the high speed short range indoor wireless communication system has recently attracted research attention and its channel with very high carrier frequency(60GHz) can be typically modeled as a Rician fading channel. We derive analytical outage probabilities and bit error probabilities of the coded cooperation over the Rician fading channel and prove it to have full diversity order.
Purpose - Korean agriculture is facing internal and external environmental changes and the need for secure stable outlets. Active participation and mutually beneficial cooperation between enterprises and agricultural is necessary for a win-win situation. This study investigates the case for distribution cooperation and a cooperative system. To respond to the diverse needs of consumers and market reclamation, there is a need to analyze and categorize distribution cooperation. Research design, data, and methodology - A literature study, relevant interviews with enterprises, and meetings with local government practices were conducted. A survey frame was derived through the participation of agricultural enterprises and distribution cooperation models were categorized identifying win-win cooperation and best practices. It was organized on the basis of six best practice examples of distribution cooperation between industry and agricultural sectors, divided into three types: opening distribution channels, exporting cooperation, and developing new products. Results - An innovation management system that can adapt to environmental changes and problems of agriculture is necessary. A company has to supply high-quality agricultural products reliably to meet the preferences of consumers by introducing products that promote domestic market differentiation. In addition, consumers are choosing a variety of products that may include not only high quality products but also local products and safe products. The main areas of cooperation are the direct provision of agrifood raw materials to consumers. Next, would be to help agricultural sectors distribute and pioneer international markets. The ideal step for distribution cooperation is the joint investment in new products by business and agriculture. Conclusions - Agriculture and win-win cooperation with enterprises is in an early stage of social contribution. To implement a distribution cooperation model between business and agricultural sectors, it is crucial to establish a structured support system including joint councils. Additional requirements include strengthening agricultural capacities, creating a legal basis for provision, and producing a win-win cooperation environment. The promotion of win-win cooperation and agricultural enterprises needs to exist in various forms in order to establish a different type of incentive system.
Inter-Organizational Cooperation is the most common and important strategy in modern public and privet sectors managerial activities. In this paper the concepts of inter-organizational cooperation means not selfish cooperation as in the game circumstance and theory, but general collaborative action between organizations, they have share same goal. The achievement level of jointed-goal of inter-organization is depended upon the performance of cooperation, which resulted from the conditions and circumstances of cooperation. This paper analyses the effect of inter-organizational cooperation on achievement level of the jointed goal between two organizations with computer simulation model of the system dynamics approach. In the computer simulation model, three factors, goal perception, communication, and control, are considered as a key conditions of cooperation, which impact on the performance of cooperation. Simulation model was constructed with focus on the dynamic interactions between these three factors and the achievement level of jointed-goal. Consequently, the results found in this paper may provide further grounds for reducing the time delay that included in the conditions of cooperation.

Recently, as the pandemic COVID-19 has been spread worldwide, international research cooperation has come to the fore to overcome the crisis and develop treatments. Currently, in Korea, with the support from the Ministry of Education and the Korea Research Foundation, the International Research Cooperation Information Center operates an online service system for international research cooperation as a venue for sharing results among international research cooperation researchers and invigorating such research. However, since Korea's performance in international research cooperation is still poor, actively pursuing measures to improve professionalism and diversity based on international cooperation is deemed necessary. Therefore, in this study, factors influencing the level of satisfaction with international research cooperation online service systems were identified, and measures to increase the satisfaction of international research cooperation online service were proposed based on the analysis results. Design of the system quality factors, accuracy and consistency of the information quality factors, and professionalism of the service quality factors were verified to have a significant effect on the satisfaction with international research cooperation online service systems. Accordingly, further strengthening the aspects of design, accuracy, consistency, and professionalism was proposed as a way to increase the satisfaction of international research cooperation online service systems.
In an era of global competition, international cooperation in science and technology plays a key role in determining a nation's competitiveness. In fact, without international cooperation, it is almost impossible to keep in touch with the fast-changing technology. In regard to this, the Korean government put much efforts into building a strong base for global R&D networking. As a result, the environment for international cooperation has improved a lot. However, the outputs of international cooperation are still poor and fall short of expectations. With the importance of international cooperation in science and technology rising more and more, it is meaningful to examine the current situation of international cooperation in S&T and analyse the outputs of the cooperation activities to review our past and present international cooperation activities. Therefore, this paper focuses on analyzing the outputs of the MEST's international S&T cooperation programs in various ways and recommends ways to improve the outputs of the international cooperation in science and technology.
