  • This paper has proposed a 4- bit 20MHz Flash A/D converter design available analog signal processing and realized its intergrated circuit. The parallel comparison method A/D converter quantized analog signals swiftly using various converters. Also this theme has designed economic power dissipation circuit using a preamplifier of low volt & power CMOS comparator. Also the system was fabricated by Hynix 0.35um CMOS process.

  • This study is to increase capability of the DC/DC converter (for PCS) in miniaturizing, stabilizing by locating an inductor with the structure of multi layer on to the glass/ceramic circuit board. When the DC/DC converter is stimulated. the characteristic operation of PWM switching circuit, losses. output power to input power, stability, efficiency and interfaces inside of control circuit and convener circuit are to be distinguished. The process would make it able to develop the techniques of designing and manufacturing of the converter of next generation.

  • This paper describes the hardware of analog-to-digital converter to process the rate output of analog servo loop for the gyro rebalance of INS. The analog-to-digital converter is designed by voltage-to-frequency method which is generally used in INS, and this scheme fits well into the strapdown INS that requires the wide dynamic range and linearity. The output of the designed voltage to frequency converter is tested by computer through the counter and all the factors which affect the performance are considered.

  • A new ZVS-CV PWM converter with power factor correction (PFC) function is presented in this paper. The new topology is a integration of a boost converter and a ZVS-CV topology in a single power conversion stage. The new converter can be regulated in pulse-width modulation (PWM) by universal integrated control circuits. Some design considerations are given in detail. A laboratory prototype has been implemented to show the feasibility of the approach and the analysis.

  • The purpose of format conversion is to convert a wide range of personal computer video formats to a target format. Circuits for the conversion has been developed by means of interpolation techniques, such as zero-order interpolation, bilinear interpolation, and bisigmoidal interpolation. This paper proposes a scan converter using cubic splines. The converter was modeled in VHDL on Max+Plus II and implemented with an FPGA cpip. The circuit gives much better conversion performance than a scan converter with zero-order or linear interpolation.

  • In this paper, we proposed a new single-stage single-switch power factor correction(S-4 PFC) converter with output electrical isolation. The configuration of this converter is achieved by combining a fly back circuit and a forward circuit in one power stage. To verify the theoretical analysis of the proposed converter, a design example is given with its Pspice simu-lation and experimental results.

  • In this paper, a PWM Buck-Boost AC-AC converter for improvement of power quality of custom power is presented. The PWM Buck-Boost AC-AC converter is modelled by using circuit DQ transformation whereby the both static and dynamic characteristics are analyzed completely. Finally, the converter system is implemented with the design criteria and the experimental results show the validity of modelling and analysis.

  • 본 연구는 인덕터, 커패시터의 기생저항을 고려한 Buck Converter의 회로 해석 및 Two Loop Control 방법의 제어기 설계를 제안한다. 일반적인 Buck Converter의 회로 및 제어기 설계에서는 인덕터, 커패시터의 기생저항의 값이 작아 0으로 간주한다. 본 논문에서는 인덕터와 커패시터의 기생저항을 고려한 회로를 수학적으로 해석한 뒤 Matlab SISOTOOL을 이용하여 전압 및 전류 제어기를 설계하고 PSIM을 통해 회로를 구성하여 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증함으로써 일반적인 설계보다 정확성을 가진 설계방법을 제안한다.

  • One of the major trends in traction power electronics is increasing the switching frequencies. The advances in the frequency elevation have made it possible to reduce the total size and weight of the passive components such as capacitors, inductors and transformers in the DC/DC converter and hence to increase the power density. The traction dynamic performance is also improved. This document describes several aspects relating to the design of resonant DC/DC converter operating at high frequency(10KHz) and the converter topologies and the control method of MAGLEV, which result in soft switching, are discussed.
