In this paper, a high LO-RF isolation W-band MIMIC single-balanced mixer was designed and fabricated using a branch line coupler and a ${\lambda}/4$ transmission line. The W-band MIMIC single-balanced mixer was designed using the $0.1\;{\mu}m$ InGaAs/InAlAs/GaAs Metamorphic HEMT diode. The fabricated MHEMT was obtained the cut-off frequency($f_T$) of 154 GHz and the maximum oscillation frequency($f_{max}$) of 454 GHz. The designed MIMIC single-balanced mixer was fabricated using $0.1\;{\mu}m$ MHEMT MIMIC process. From the measurement, the conversion loss of the single-balanced mixer was 12.8 dB at an LO power of 8.6 dBm. P1 dB(1 dB compression point) of input and output were 5 dBm and -8.9 dBm, respectively. The LO-RF isolations of single-balanced mixer was obtained 37.2 dB at 94 GHz. We obtained in this study a higher LO-RF isolation compared to some other balanced mixers in millimeter-wave frequencies.

MTO (Make to Order) is a manufacturing process in which manufacturing starts only after a customer's order is received. Manufacturing after receiving customer's orders means to start a pull-type supply chain operation because manufacturing is performed when demand is confirmed, i.e. being pulled by demand (The opposite business model is to manufacture products for stock MTS (Make to Stock), which is push-type production). There are also BTO (Build to Order) and ATO (Assemble To Order) in which assembly starts according to demand. Lean manufacturing by MTO is very efficient system. Nevertheless, the process industry, generally, which has a high fixed cost burden due to large-scale investment is suitable for mass production of small pieces or 'mass customization' defined recently. The process industry produces large quantities at one time because of the lack of manufacturing flexibility due to long time for model change or job change, and high loss during line-down (shutdown). As a result, it has a lot of inventory and costs are increased. In order to reduce the cost due to the characteristics of the process industry, which has a high fixed cost per hour, it operates a stock production system in which it is made and sold regardless of the order of the customer. Therefore, in a business environment where the external environment changes greatly, the inventory is not sold and it becomes obsolete. As a result, the company's costs increase, profits fall, and it make more difficult to survive in the competition. Based on the customer's order, we have built a new method for order system to meet the characteristics of the process industry by producing it as a high-profitable model. The design elements are designed by deriving the functions to satisfy the Y by collecting the internal and external VOC (voice of customer), and the design elements are verified through the conversion function. And the Y is satisfied through the pilot test verified and supplemented. By operating this make to order system, we have reduced bad inventories, lowered costs, and improved lead time in terms of delivery competitiveness. Make to order system in the process industry is effective for the display glass industry, for example, B and C groups which are non-flagship models, have confirmed that the line is down when there is no order, and A group which is flagship model, have confirmed stock production when there is no order.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the performances of the ASBR under critical conditions of solid-liquid separation, caused by extremely high solids concentration, for wider application of the ASBR to various wastes. The ASBRs and completely-mixed daily-fed control runs were operated using a municipal mixed sludge at 35$^{\circ}C$ and 55$^{\circ}C$. Conversion of completely-mixed daily-fed reactor to sequencing batch mode and changes in HRT of all ASBRs were easily achieved without adverse effect, regardless of digestion temperature. Solids accumulation was remarkable in the ASBRs, and directly affected by settleable solids concentration of the feed sludge. Noticeable difference in solids-liquid separation was that flotation thickening occurred in the mesophilic ASBRs, while gravity thickening was a predominant solid-liquid separation process in the thermophilic ASBRS. Solids profiles at the end of thickening step dramatically changed at solid-liquid interface, and slight difference in solids concentrations was observed within thickened sludge bed. Organics removals based on subnatant or supernatant after thickening always exceeded 80% in all reactors. Thickened sludge volume and gas production of the ASBRs affected mutually. Gas production increased as thickened sludge accumulated, and continuous gas evolution during thickening could cause thickened sludge to expand or resuspend. Thickened sludge volume exceeding a predetermined withdrawal level resulted in loss of organic solids as well as biomass during withdrawal step, leading to decrease in gas production ind SRT. Such an adverse mutual effect was significant in gravity thickening, while it was not sensitive in flotation thickening. Changes in organic loading had no significant effect on organic removals and gas production after build-up of solids in the ASBRs.

In this study, the applicability of a standard vector model was evaluated using RIMGIS vector data and a portal based river-geospatial information web service system was developed using XML and JSON based data linkage between the server and the client. The RIMGIS vector data including points, lines, and polygons were converted to the Geospatial Data Model(GDM) developed in this study and were validated by layers. After the conversion, it was identified that the attribute data of a shape file remained without loss. The GeoServer GDB(GeoDataBase) that manages a DB in the portal was developed as a management module. The XML-based Geography Markup Language(GML) standards of OGC was used for accessing to and managing vector layers and encoding spatial data. The separation of data content and expression in the GML allowed the different expressions of the same data, convenient data revision and update, and enhancing the expandability. In the future, it is necessary to improve the access, exchange, and storage of river-geospatial information through the user's customized services and Internet accessibility.
Purpose: Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) in early gastric cancer causes an artificial gastric ulcer and local inflammation that has a negative intraprocedural impact on additional laparoscopic gastrectomy in patients with noncurative ESD. In this study, we analyzed the effect of ESD on short-term surgical outcomes and evaluated the risk factors. Materials and Methods: From January 2003 to January 2013, 1,704 patients of the National Cancer Center underwent laparoscopic gastrectomy with lymph node dissection because of preoperative stage Ia or Ib gastric cancer. They were divided into 2 groups: (1) with preoperative ESD or (2) without preoperative ESD. Clinicopathologic factors and short-term surgical outcomes were retrospectively evaluated along with risk factors such as preoperative ESD. Results: Several characteristics differed between patients who underwent ESD-surgery (n=199) or surgery alone (n=1,505). The mean interval from the ESD procedure to the operation was 43.03 days. Estimated blood loss, open conversion rate, mean operation time, and length of hospital stay were not different between the 2 groups. Postoperative complications occurred in 23 patients (11.56%) in the ESD-surgery group and in 189 patients (12.56%) in the surgery-only group, and 3 deaths occurred among patients with complications (1 patient [ESD-surgery group] vs. 2 patients [surgery-only group]; P=0.688). A history of ESD was not significantly associated with postoperative complications (P=0.688). Multivariate analysis showed that male sex (P=0.008) and laparoscopic total or proximal gastrectomy (P=0.000) were independently associated with postoperative complications. Conclusions: ESD did not affect short-term surgical outcomes during and after an additional laparoscopic gastrectomy.

This paper presents a low temperature co-fire ceramics(LTCC) Upconverter for a Ka-band OBS satellite transponder in order for size reduction which is one of the most important requirement for satellite components. A S-band low-pass filter(LPF), a K-band band-pass filter(BPF), and an upconverting MMIC mixer are embedded in the multi-layer structure of the upconverter. All spurious can be selectively rejected by employing a modified Elliptic low pass filter with a multi-pole structure for the S-band LPF. Also an improved performance of out-of-band rejection can be obtained. At the K-band BPF design a layer coupled configuration is employed. The upconverting mixer is an MMIC diode mixer with a double-balanced configuration. Conversion loss and isolation of the upconverter are 9 dB and 51 dBc, respectively. The size of the LTCC upconverter is only $8{\times}7{\times}0.6mm^3$ which is one-third for the thin-film based upconverter.

In this paper, design and the implementation method of a band-tunable ultra-wideband planar doubler are described Microstrip-to-CPS(balun) transition and Microstrip-to-CPW transition are respectively used for input/output matching circuits for the doubler. The Input balun structure allows to apply diode bias, and the doubler output frequency is tunable by changing the diode bias voltage. With the bias voltage of -0.6 V, the measured operating frequency band of the implemented doubler is $10{\sim}20$ GHz, with the bias voltage of $-0.2{\sim}-0.4$ V, the operating frequency band is $10{\sim}30$ GHz, and with 0 V bias, the operating frequency band is $20{\sim}30$ GHz. The doubler provides conversion loss of less than 15 dB and fundamental frequency suppression of 30 dB.

In this paper, the mixer was implemented in the non-radiative dielectric waveguide that is the main component of 60 GHz band radio telecommunications equipment which a demand increases for the purpose of point-to-point communication network. As to the manufacture of the non-radiative dielectric waveguide mixer, it was the implementation of the dielectric line combiner to be most difficult. The thing which that gives shape to the curvature which is the dielectric line determined and the to place in the exact interval thing are easy. For this reason, it was very difficult to make in order to have the regular performance in the case of the mixer having the dielectric line combiner. In this paper, since the dielectric line combiner was replaced with the waveguide directional coupler and the manufacture was possible through a processing it had the characteristic that a combiner is fixed. In result, the productivity of a mixer was innovatively improved. The design frequency of the mixer implemented through this paper RF and LO are $51{\sim}64\;GHz$. IF Is $DC{\sim}\;GHz2$. The down conversion loss toward the RF input of $60{\sim}62\;GHz$ was measured by $10{\pm}1\;dB$ in the condition that LO is 10 dBm, 60 GHz.
The study was conducted to evaluate the effect of lighting schedule and nutrient density on growth performance, carcass traits and meat quality of broiler chickens. A total of 576 day old Arbor Acre male chickens was used with a $4{\times}2$ factorial arrangement. The four lighting schedules were continuous (23 L:1 D, CL), 20 L:4 D (12 L:2 D:8 L:2 D), 16 L:8 D (12 L:3 D:2 L:3 D: 2 L:2 D) and 12 L:12 D (9 L:3 D:1 L:3 D:1 L:3 D:1 L:3 D) and provided by incandescent bulbs. The two nutrient densities were high (H, starter diet: 13.39 MJ/kg apparent metabolisable energy (AME), 23.00% crude protein (CP); finisher diet: 13.39 MJ AME/kg, 19.70% CP) and low energy and protein level (L, starter diet: 12.03 MJ AME/kg, 20.80% CP; finisher diet: 12.14 MJ AME/kg, 18.30% CP). Houses with dark curtains and solid sidewalls were used. Chickens were randomly allocated to the 8 treatments with each treatment comprising 6 replicates of 12 chickens. Feed and water were available ad libitum. Lighting schedules showed no difference (p>0.05) in growth performance at the end of the experiment. 12 L:12 D significantly reduced (p<0.05) the concentration of malondialdehyde (MDA) compared to 23 L:1 D treatment. Intermittent lighting (IL) schedules produced higher protein content (p<0.001) in breast meat. Birds on high density diets had higher body weight (BW), feed intake (FI) (p<0.001), and feed conversion ratio (FCR) (p<0.001) throughout the experiment with the exception of 36 to 42 d. High nutrient density increased (p<0.05) abdominal fat, decreased (p<0.05) the moisture loss of meat, and reduced percentage of wings and legs. There was a significant lighting schedule${\times}$diet interaction (p<0.001) on FCR for days 8 to 14 and 15 to 21. Results indicated that IL can give similar growth performance in comparison with CL, meanwhile with positive effects on meat quality by increasing protein content and decreasing the concentration of MDA. High nutrient density resulted in greater growth performance.

Finding alternative feeds, such as sesame hulls and Prosopis juliflora species can attenuate difficulties of feed shortage and reduce the cost of animal feed in arid and semi-arid countries. Thirty-two Black male kids with similar initial weights (BW = $16.7{\pm}0.80\;kg$) and $120{\pm}5\;d$ of age, were used to evaluate the effect of replacing barley grains and soybean meal with Prosopis juliflora pods (PJP) and sesame hulls (SH) on growth performance, digestibility and carcass and meat characteristics. Kids were equally divided into four dietary treatment groups for an 84-d fattening period. Treatment diets had similar crude protein (CP) and metabolizable energy (ME). The treatment groups were: (T1) no PJP nor SH, (T2) 10% PJP and 20% SH, (T3) 15% PJP and 15% SH, and (T4) 20% PJP and 10% SH. A tendency was detected (p<0.08) for dry matter (DM), crude protein (CP), organic matter (OM) and neutral detergent fiber (NDF) intakes that were greater for T2 than T3 and T4 while T1 was not different from all other treatment groups. Ether extract (EE) intake was the greatest (p<0.05) for T2 and the lowest for T1. Acid detergent fiber (ADF) intake was greater (p<0.05) for T2 than T1 while T3 and T4 were intermediate. Final live weight, average daily gain (ADG) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) were comparable among different treatment groups. Digestibility of DM, OM, CP, NDF and ADF were similar among all treatment groups, however, EE digestibility was the lowest (p<0.05) for T1 when compared to other treatments. In addition, nitrogen intake, nitrogen in urine and retained and retention percentages were similar among all treatment groups. However, N loss in feces was higher (p<0.05) for T2 than T3 and T4 while T1 was intermediate. No differences were observed among treatment groups with respect to fasting live weight, hot and cold carcass weights, dressing-out percentages, mesenteric fat, visceral organs, carcass cuts percentages and carcass linear dimensions. No differences were also observed for dissected loin, leg, rack and shoulder tissues except in the total bone % for loin cuts and in the meat to bone ratio for rack cuts. T3 has the greatest total bone % and the lowest meat to bone ratio when compared to all other treatment groups. No differences were observed between treatment groups in all quality characteristics of the longissimus muscle. The present study demonstrates the potential of using PJP and SH for growing kids without adverse effects on growth performance, carcass characteristics and meat quality.
