In this paper, we develop the image transfer remote maintenance monitoring system for hand held device which can compensate defects of human mistake. The human mistakes always happen when the worker communicate information each other to check and maintenance the equipment of the power plant under bad circumstance such as small place and long distance in power plant. A worker couldn't converse with other when in noisy place like Power plant. So, we make some hand device for handy size and able to converse in noisy place. The developed system can have improvement of productivity through increasing plant operation time. And developed system is composed of advanced H/W(hard ware) system and S/W(soft ware)system. The H/W system consist of media server unit, communication equipment with hand held device, portable camera, mike and head set. The advanced s/w system consist of data base system, client pc(personal computer) real time monitoring system which has server GUI(graphic user interface) program, wireless monitoring program and wire ethernet communication program. The client GUI program is composed of total solution program as pc camera program, and phonetic conversation program etc.. We analyzed the required items and investigated applicable part in the image transfer remote maintenance monitoring system with hand held device. Also we investigated linkage of communication protocol for developed prototype, developed software tool of two-way communication and realtime recording skill of voice with image. We confirmed the efficiency by the field test in preventive maintenance of plant power.

Locus of Control of Reinforcement (LOCR)' is considered as one of the most important factors on responsible environmental behaviors(REB). It is defined as 'an individual's perception of his or her ability to bring about change through his or her behavior'. This psychological construct is divided up into two directions: the external locus and internal locus. The internal locus is important as a predictor of REB. Recently, 'The Environmental Action Internal Control Index: EAICI' has been developed and it is a valid and reliable instrument to measure the relationship of two variables. The purposes of this study were to develop a strategy to reinforce the internal locus or to converse external locus to internal locus. and to verify the effects by EAICI. A new strategy, 'Self Control Management Strategy' was based on the characteristics of internal locus and the key idea of this was to self-control and to manage the courses by themselves. EAICI scores of the control group was 99.83. All of them were internal and the LOCR of females was more internal than that of the males. This strategy was applied when the instructions were carried out on seven environmental issues by the experimental group. According to the results. the seven points of the EAICI were increased significantly. Therefore this strategy is helpful in reinforcing the internal locus or to converse external locus to the internal locus.

The aim of this paper is to prove the boundary behavior between the Caratheodory and Kobayashi-Royden metrics in a strongly pseudoconvex bounded domain with $C^2$-boundary in $\mathbb{C}^n$ and to show that the converse does not holds. S. Venturini([Ven]) proved the corresponding result with distances in place of the infinitesimal metrics.

A layerwise theory for the dynamic response of a laminated composite plate with integrated piezoelectric actuators and sensors subjected to both mechanical and electrical loadings is proposed. The formulation is derived form the variational principle with consideration for both total potential energy of the structures and the electrical potential energy of the piezoceramics. The governing equations of the present theory account for direct and converse effects of piezoelectrics, and layerwise variation of displacement field through the thickness of a laminate.

A useful method of proving the finite decidability of an equationally definable class V of algebras (i.e., variety) is to prove the decidability of the class of finite directly indecomposable members of V. The validity of this method relies on the well-known result of Feferman-Vaught: if a class K of first-order structures is decidable, then so is the class {$\prod$$_{i}$＜n/ $A_{i}$│ $A_{i}$ $\in$ X (i < n), n $\in$ $\omega$}. In this paper we show that the converse of this does not necessarily hold.d.d.

We formulate a pair of symmetric dual mixed integer programs with a square root term and establish the weak, strong and converse duality theorems under suitable invexity conditions. Moreover, the self duality theorem for our pair is obtained by assuming the kernel function to be skew symmetric.

In this paper, we construct a pair of Wolfe type second order symmetric dual problems, in which each component of the objective function contains support function and is, therefore, nondifferentiable. For this problem, we validate weak, strong and converse duality theorems under bonvexity - boncavity assumptions. A second order self duality theorem is also proved under additional appropriate conditions.

Recently Hurley [3] proved that if A is a weak attractor of a discrete dyanamical system f then there exists a Lyapunov-like function for A. The purpose of this note is to study whether the converse of the above result does hold or not.

A ring R is called right pure-injective if it is injective with respect to pure exact sequences. According to a well known result of L. Melkersson, every commutative Artinian ring is pure-injective, but the converse is not true, even if R is a commutative Noetherian local ring. In this paper, a series of conditions under which right pure-injective rings are either right Artinian rings or quasi-Frobenius rings are given. Also, some of our results extend previously known results for quasi-Frobenius rings.
