Material Characteristics of Dental Implant System with In-Vitro Mastication Loading

  • A dynamic fatigue characteristic of dental implant system has been evaluated with applying single axial compressive shear loading based on the ISO 14801 standard. For the advanced dynamic fatigue test, multi-directional force and motion needed to be accompanied for more information of mechanical properties as based on mastication in oral environment. In this study, we have prepared loading and motion protocol for the multi-directional fatigue test of dental implant system with single (Apical/Occlusal; AO), and additional mastication motion (Lingual/Facial; LF, Mesial/Distal; MD). As following the prepared protocol (with modification of ISO 14801), fatigue test was conducted to verify the worst case results for the development of highly stabilized dental implant system. Mechanical testing was performed using an universal testing machine (MTS Bionix 858, MN, USA) for static compression and single directional loading fatigue, while the multi-directional loading was performed with joint simulator (ADL-Force 5, MA, USA) under load control. Basically, all mechanical test was performed according to the ISO 14801:2016 standard. Static compression test was performed to identify the maximum fracture force with loading speed of 1.0 mm/min. A dynamic fatigue test was performed with 40 % value of maximum fracture force and 5 Hz loading frequency. A single directional fatigue test was performed with only apical/occlusal (AO) force application, while multi directional fatigue tests were applied $2^{\circ}$ of facial/lingual (FL) or mesial/distal (MD) movement. Fatigue failure cycles were entirely different between applying single-directional loading and multi-directional loading. As a comparison of these loading factor, the failure cycle was around 5 times lower than single-directional loading while applied multi-directional loading. Also, the displacement change with accumulated multi-directional fatigue cycles was higher than that of single directional cycles.

  • The present development relates to an apparatus for loading or unloading a workpiece, and more particularly, to an apparatus for loading or unloading a workpiece from a press die or supplier An apparatus for loading or unloading a workpiece has been installed in a press in order to load or unload a workpiece from a press die. There has been known such a loading or unloading apparatus as the apparatus can feed a workpiece in not only the horizontal direction but also in the vortical direction. Press working system in automotive factories are now switching over to a transfer press work ing system. The current problem to be sieved immediately is to automate the existing manual press lines for the manpower saving and speedy production. “Automation system for press line”has just been developed to meet the above trend. The loader and unloader are development under the design concept for high performance, easy control and operational safety to meet the more extensive.

  • This paper presents DC voltage recovery time improvement method in DC link of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) with offshore wind farm. The wind farm should be satisfied Low Voltage Ride Through(LVRT) control strategy when grid faults occur. The LVRT control strategy indicates actions which have to be executed according to the voltage dip ratio and the fault duration. However, The LVRT control strategy makes between wind farm and power system through DC Link voltage when grid fault occurs. The de-loading scheme is one of the method to control the DC voltage. But de-loading scheme need to long DC voltage recovery time. Thus, this paper proposes an improved de-loading scheme and we analysis DC voltage and active power reference through a simulation.

  • 본 논문에서는 CDMA 셀룰러 망에서 셀 간의 간섭이 불균일한 경우에 역방향 링크에서의 간섭을 계산하기 위한 새로운 해석 방법을 제시한다, 특히, 제안된 방식에서는 역방향 링크 전력 제어의 동적 특성을 반영함으로써 셀 간의 불균일한 통화량이 시스템 용량에 미치는 영향을 정확하게 정량화할 수 있으며, 셰도잉과 소프트 핸드 오프에 따른 영향을 고려한 분석이 가능하다. 이와 같이 셀 간의 불균일한 통화량을 고려한 상황에서 역방향 링크 전력 제어의 동적 특성을 반영한 간섭 계산 방식은 기존 연구에서 제시되지 않은 부분이다. 제안된 방식으로 계산된 결과를 살펴보면, 인접한 모든 셀들의 통화량이 두배가 될 때 계산된 가입자 수는 전력 제어의 동적 특성을 고려하지 않고 계산된 결과에 비해 27%까지 감소하는 것을 알 수 있다.

On the Integrated Operation Concept and Development Requirements of Robotics Loading System for Increasing Logistics Efficiency of Sub-Terminal

  • Recently, consumers who prefer contactless consumption are increasing due to pandemic trends such as Corona 19. This is the driving force for developing the last mile-based logistics ecosystem centered on the online e-commerce market. Lastmile led to the continued development of the logistics industry, but increased the amount of cargo in urban area, and caused social problems such as overcrowding of logistics. The courier service in the logistics base area utilizes the process of visiting the delivery site directly because the courier must precede the loading work of the cargo in the truck for the delivery of the ordered product. Currently, it's carried out as automated logistics equipment such as conveyor belt in unloading or classification stage, but the automation system isn't applied, so the work efficiency is decreasing and the intensity of the courier worker's labor is increased. In particular, small-scale courier workers belonging to the sub-terminal unload at night at underdeveloped facilities outside the city center. Therefore, the productivity of the work is lowered and the risk of safety accidents is exposed, so robot-based loading technology is needed. In this paper, we have derived the top-level concept and requirements of robot-based loading system to increase the flexibility of logistics processing and to ensure the safety of courier drivers. We defined algorithms and motion concepts to increase the cargo loading efficiency of logistics sub-terminals through the requirements of end effector technology, which is important among concepts. Finally, the control technique was proposed to determine and position the load for design input development of the automatic conveyor system.

  • An active control for the swing of crane systems is very important for increasing the productivity. This article introduces the control for the position and the swing of a crane using the fuzzy learning method. Because the crane is a multi-variable system, learning is done to control both position and swing of the crane. Also the fuzzy control rules are separately acquired with the loading and unloading situation of the crane for more accurate control. The result of simulations shows that the crane is just controlled for a very large swing angle of 1 radian within nearly one cycle.

  • Driving simulators are used effectively for human factor study, vehicle system development and other purposes by enabling to reproduce actural driving conditions in a safe and tightly controlled enviornment. Interactive simulation requries appropriate sensory and stimulus cuing to the driver . Sensory and stimulus feedback can include visual , auditory, motion, and proprioceptive cues. A fixed-base driving simulator has been developed in this study for vehicle system developmnet and human factor study . The simulator consists of improved and synergistic subsystems (a real-time vehicle simulation system, a visual/audio system and a control force loading system) based on the motion -base simulator, KMU DS-Ⅰ developed for design and evaluation of a full-scale driving simulator and for driver-vehicle interaction.

  • 본 논문에서는 소량 다품종 생산에서 FMS(Flexible Manufactturing System)의 공정제어를 위한 지능형 제어기를 설계하였다. 설계된 제어기는 최적화 기법과 경험적 생산 규칙을 통합하여 가공품의 적재 및 흐름이 제어되고 선정된 성능 평가 기준 지표를 최대로 만족할 수 있도록 한다. 최적화 기법에 의해 구현되는 제어 기능은 생산시스템의 가공용량을 초과하지 않는 범위내에서 가공품의 순시생산율을 계산한다. 생산규칙 구성에 따르는 경험적 제어를 위하여 지식베이스가 형성되고 순시생산율 및 현재의 공정 정보를 기반으로 최종 대안이 선정된다. 이 경우 지식 베이스에는 대안 심사, 결정수립 기준, 그리고 가공품의 흐름제어에 관한 규칙들을 대상으로, 그리고 데이타베이스는 공정 정보 관리, 수정 침 저장을 대상으로 각각 구축된다. 공정 정보를 이용하여 생산계획의 진행 상황을 도시하게 되는 글래픽 시뮬레이션이 수행되며, 설계된 제어기의 성능평가는 컴퓨터 시물레이션을 통해 검토된다.

  • We acquired operating data in an existing steam turbine power plant using analog control system to investigate operation characteristics. We analyzed a load control logic to develop a digital turbine control system. The load control logic is constituted of load target, load reference, loading rate, load limit and admission mode transfer of valve. The result of this paper is utilized to implement a digital turbine control system.

  • 본 논문에서는 균일 열부가 하중을 받는 사각판의 자유 진동특성을 실험을 통하여 연구하였다. 사각판의 재질은 알루미늄, 강재 및 스테인레스 강이고 사각판의 재원은 0.1 $\times$ 0.1 $\times$ 0.002 m 이다. 열부가 하중을 위해 적외선 석영 램프를 사용하였고, 전력조절을 위해 PCS(Power Control System)을 사용하였으며, 주파수 함수를 얻기 위해 비접촉식 진동측정 장비를 사용하였다. 부가한 온도 조건은 상온에서부터 $300^{\circ}C$까지 $50^{\circ}C$간격으로 부가하였다. 경계조건은 번지코드를 사용하여 자유-자유 조건을 구현하였다. 사각판의 전면 전체를 균일하게 가열하였다.
