Logistics industry is being an important industry in Vietnam with the contribution from 8-10% of GDP recently. This industry employs about 15 millions people. Increasing the employees' job satisfaction is become one of the most concerns of managers in logistics companies to strengthen the employee engagement and improve their business performance. The aim of this study is to investigate how employees' perceptions of job satisfaction are influenced by factors such as job stress, leadership capability, work-life balance, and demographics. 426 workers in the logistics sector in Vietnam were surveyed online. The acquired data was analyzed using a structural equation model. In total 16 hypotheses were established, 13 of which were deemed to be significant. The results demonstrate how the literature-informed second-order constructs can potentially explain the overall job stress, leadership capability, and work-life balance of employees in the Vietnamese logistics industry. These variables account for 54.8% of job satisfaction. This study makes a theoretical contribution to the extant literature by showing how researching second-order constructs can improve the theory's capacity to predict employees' job satisfaction. The paper concludes with a set of recommendations for the management of logistics firms in Vietnam.

The purpose of this study is to examine what are the important variables for information security compliance and whether the information security investment by the industry is different. To comply with the information security policies, the organization must establish measures to prevent or resolve information security incidents. This research process consists of four stages, and the analysis method was conducted with the categorical regression analysis and the correspondence analysis. The first analysis analyzed the independent variables that affect security regulations compliance. The rest of the analysis was conducted by industry in the order of security compliance regulations, manpower investment, and budget investment. As a result of the first analysis, this had positive effects on an organization and personal information protection awareness, joint operation organization of information protection, manpower and budget investment, corporate size, and industry. The correspondence analysis was conducted from the second analysis to the fourth analysis and it analyzed the differences in information security investment by industry. The second analysis showed that the construction industry, science and technology industry, and finance industry have higher compliance with security regulations than other industries. The third analysis showed that the financial industry and the science and technology industry were higher than other industries. The last analysis showed that the financial industry was higher than other industries. The theoretical contribution of this study provided the basis for updating the information security theory. The practical contribution of this study requires government support to reduce information security deviations by industry.

As the IT labor captures an increasing proportion of the total labor, it is important to analyze the contribution of IT labor to national economy. Although there has been abundant research about the effect of IT investments, it is difficult to find a research about IT labor's economic contribution. Most prior studies on the effect of IT investment have focused on the effect of IT capital investment. This paper empirically explores whether and how IT labor makes contribution to Korean economy. And also this paper examines the economic contribution of IT experts and semi-experts in Korean industries over the 2000 to 2007 period, using production function framework and panel data set for 24 industries constructed from 'Input-Output table' and 'Research on Wage Structure Survey'. Based on the full sample of 120 observations, this study finds that a 1% increase in IT labor wage is associated with 0.042190% increase in added value. In the case of non-manufacturing industries on the sample of 50 observations, this study finds that a 1% increase in IT labor wage is associated with 0.074908% increase in added value. And in the case of IT experts (separated from IT semi-experts), this study finds that a 1% increase in IT expert's labor wage is associated with 0.013957% increase in added value of all industry. This study provides implication for policy makers and managers. The results suggests that non-manufacturing industries can capture further benefits by increasing investment in IT labor. Building on this study, future research should examine the impact of IT labor at a more detailed industry level and the firm level.

The Regional Cooperative Development Center (RCDC) at Tokushima Bunri University was established in 2005. The role of the RCDC is to make a social contribution and to assist in the development of human resources. The RCDC has made contributions to society by organizing meetings to facilitate the exchange of technology, holding public lectures, supporting joint research projects, providing technical assistance for manufacturers, making available the free use of equipment owned by the university and so on. Additionally, the RCDC has put much effort into giving undergraduate students internship opportunities at industries in the eastern part of Kagawa Prefecture (the TOSAN area) in Japan. The RCDC also trained a contracted researcher from a small company about the creation of intellectual property, including how to conduct a patent prior art search, how to prepare a patent specification, etc. The RCDC has worked in partnership with industry, Sanuki City Society of Commerce and Industry and Higashi-Kagawa City Society of Commerce and Industry in order to revitalize local communities.

Purpose: The primary objective of the present study is to investigate the contribution of retail beauty workers toward improving 'Green Supply Chain Management' (GSCM) within the beauty sector, and to address the following research inquiry: What are the responsibilities and contributions of retail beauty workers in the promotion and implementation of GSCM practices within the beauty industry? Research design, data, and methodology: The research methodology for this study was employed in investigating the current literature dataset and conducting qualitative literature analysis (Peer-reviewed journal articles and books). This study provides a comprehensive account of the data collection procedure and clear process employed for data analysis. Results: According to the qualitative textual analysis based on comprehensive literature analysis, the crucial aspects of retail beauty workers' contribution to enhancing GSCM within the beauty industry are following: (1) Promote green products, (2) provide green customer education, (3) Provision of environmental friendly services, and (4) Involvement in reducing green waste. Conclusions: All in all, through this process, four distinct roles were identified, which retail beauty workers can assume to facilitate the implementation of GSCM practices. This entails effectively advocating for environmental friendly products to customers by showcasing their value, attractiveness, and appropriateness in meeting customers' requirements and preferences.

PURPOSES: This study is to suggest the Contribution of Road Capital in Industry and Optimal Level of Road Investment in South Korea METHODS: Based on the literature review, This research is empirically estimated using disaggregate and disaggregated data composed of 10-sectors covering the entire korea economy for the period 1970~2000. The relevant policy questions addressed in this report are : cost reduction and Scale elasticities of road, effect of road capital stock on demand for labor, capital and materials, marginal effect of road, industry TFP growth decomposition, Net Social Rates of Returns, optimal of road capital. RESULTS : The marginal benefits of the road capital at the industry level were calculated using the estimated cost elasticities. Demand for the road capital services varies across industries as do the marginal effects. The marginal benefits are positive for the principal industries. This suggests that for these industries the existing stock of road capital may be under supplied. CONCLUSIONS: This results emerges is that the ratio of the optimum to actual road capital, measured by road, was high at beginning of the period 1970s and declined 1990s. There appears to be evidence of under-investment in road capital. That is continuous and premeditated investment for road which lead to saving time and finance.

This study examines the economic ripple effect on the domestic information security manufacturing and service sectors through input-output analysis. The production inducement coefficient of the manufacturing sector is bigger than the average of whole industry, but that of the service sector is smaller than the average. On the other hand, the service sector is superior to the manufacturing sector in the value added and employment inducement coefficients. Forward and backward linkage effects of manufacturing and service sectors are generally lower than those of the average of whole industry. The information security industry has insignificant contribution to national economy and employment growth overall. In particular, the manufacturing sector records minus contribution to employment growth, which means that a lot of effort for increasing employment must be given further on in the sector.

The telecommunication service industry plays a major role in the realization of the perfect information society in the 21st century and, has a great influence in society and culture. Using the Calculable General Equilibrium Model, we analyze the telecommunication service's economic effects on other industries as well as on the national economy. In 2001, the 8 percent increase in the telecom sales caused the 5 billion dollar increase in the GDP, which seems to continue to bring about no less than 5 billion dollar GDP increase each year until 2030. The telecom sales increase has been evaluated to have disproportionately positive effect on transmission device and audio equipment industries. In summary, the telecom sales have a positive net enぉ on the GDP and on most of the industries with a few exceptions.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the technical and cost efficiency of Air Transport Industry on Global strategic alliances. In particular, this study develops Stochastic Frontier Approach for accurate judgement. Based on 20 major international airline corporations related with strategic alliances during the period 1995-2001, we find that alliances make a significant contribution to efficiency. On the other hand, it is found that the level of contribution to efficiency is different according to alliances. These results also changed greatly between pre- and post- Asian financial crisis period.

Solomon Islands located in South-pacific. So, this country has much fishery resources. But Solomon Islands can't exploit efficiently and effectively this resources because of delay of national industrial development. Therefore, if developed fishery industry's technology of the Korea pass to Solomon Islands, there are lots of contribution to nation's foods and industry development. If the established fisheries in the Solomon Islands College of the National University in order to train them in the veteran of fishery curriculum and processes fit the Solomon Islands, advancing the national development of the Solomon Islands it would be the occasion. Moreover, it may be a great contribution to development of Solomon Islands and relationship of Korea through the continuous education.
