As computing devices become ubiquitous and increasingly mobile, it becomes obvious that a synchronous and direct peer-to-peer communication model is not sufficient in distributed computing environment. Using an indirect event service instead of other traditional communication model has an advantage of decreasing the coupling of applications in a distributed environment and removing the need for many static dependencies. In this paper, we design and implement the secure event service for providing secure ubiquitous computing environment. The Secure Event Service implemented enables users to perform content-based event retrieval, and supports only eligible event comsumer and event producer can publish and receive events through the secure event service. SPKI/SDSI certificate is used for supporting authentication and authorization in the secure event service. In order to provide a content-based event retrieval, an asynchronous communication between event producers and consumers, and a disconnectedness support for mobile devices, we modify and expand the Javaspace package.
This paper summarizes the features and functions of game video on each platform through a study on streaming technology. Game videos have a high relationship with game content itself for the purpose of marketing and disseminating game play methods using games as the subject matter. The video length is short and it is easy to spread. The main types of game video content are game commentary, game strategy, funny, imitative, music video, and game information. As a game promotion video function, etc., it is used as a direct or indirect publicity for the game by the producer and the user for each reason. This article analyzed the production subject and production conditions of game videos, focusing on the production process. The production subject is divided into professional creators, non-professional creators, and general users. The motive for producing game videos is mainly to obtain economic benefits. The production process was extracted and presented through examples of game videos.
The development of social media in the 2000s led the unspecified individuals to band together for common interests. Social networking services served as a far-reaching tool for sharing different thoughts and interpretation of the pop culture and helped people build up close relations driven by their common interests for certain works of the pop culture. This Study introduces the TV Series as a case that displays specific patterns of communication between its producer and viewers. Producer Bryan Fuller of the Series as well as key production staffs were quite active on social networking sites with the understanding of what the audience desired and the willingness to sympathize with them, which were eagerly welcomed by the dedicated audience whose number, though, was not big. For the Hannibal production team, SNS was a means for them to just be consumers who appreciate the work instead of solely being the content provider. Their approach is quite different from unilateral marketing approaches employed in the past. Through this case, the Study aims to suggest that social networking sites serve as a powerful medium connecting producers and viewers or as an information hub, and that how interactive contents shall be delivered in the new media environment to be effective.
In order to study the biomass of primary producer, phytoplankton is collected monthly September 1985 to August 1986 in Ch$\check{o}$nsu Bay. Phytoplankton carbon contents which are calculated from phytoplankton volume were ranged from $26.7{\mu}gC/l$ to $960.7{\mu}gC/l$, and average carbon contents of each month lie in the range of $58.6-684.7{\mu}gC/l$(annual mean $208.5{\mu}gC/l$). For net plankton analysis with the carbon contents, cell numbers, and chlorophyll concentrations show a close correlation, while for nanoplankton the correlation was low, indicating that nano-fraction includes a significant portion of picoplankton. Also, the multiple regression analysis with carbon content, cell number, and chlorophyll concentration to size fraction well illustrate the prime importance of the net-fraction in phytoplankton group. C/Chl-a ratios ranged from 9.1 to 100.5, average rations of net- and nanoplankton are 111 and 6.4, respectively. The greater net plankton faction is, the higher C/Chl-a ratio is, however in case of high nanoplankton portion C/Chl-a ratio show low level. These results indicate that the difference of C/Chl-a ratio per phytoplankton cell size be main factor for the variation of C/Chl-a ratio in Ch$\check{o}$nsu Bay. As C/Chl-a ratio fluctuates greatly in coastal ecosystem, that use of a direct conversion of convert chlorophyll to organic carbon may lead erronous estimation.

In making 3D animation with digital technology, it is necessary to increase productivity and reusability by managing production pipeline systematically through standardization of animation content. For this purpose, we try to develop the animation content management system that can manage all kind of information on the production pipeline, based on SCORM of e-teaming by considering production, publication and re-editing. A scene as the unit of visual semantics is standardize into an object that contains meta-data of place, cast, weather, season, time and viewpoint about the scene. The meta-data of content includes a lot of information of copyright, publication, description, etc, so that it plays an important role on the management and the publication. If an effective management system of meta-data such as ontology will be implemented, it is possible to search multimedia contents powerfully. Hence, it will bring on production and publication of UCC. Using the meta-data of content object, user and producer can easily search and reuse the contents. Hence, they can choose the contents object according to their preference and reproduce their own creative animation by reorganizing and packaging the selected objects.
Two kinds of honey, acacia and buckwheat, supplied by the producer have been stored at $5^{\circ}C,\;20^{\circ}C,\;and\;35^{\circ}C$ for one year to study storage qualities. Titratable acidity of the honey-increased with time specially at the elevated temperatures: the acidity of bukwheat increased 1.7 times at the end of storage at $35^{\circ}C$. Viscosity decreased with time and elevated temperatures. Viscosity of acacia honey at $35^{\circ}C$ was 1/12 the value at $5^{\circ}C$ and that of buckwheat was 1/3. Hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF) content increased slowly with time at $20^{\circ}C$, whereas. fast increase was observed at $35^{\circ}C$. HMF content of acacia honey after four months of storage exceeded the HMF limit of Codex, 40mg/kg. Buckwheat honey showed the same level after six months. It was noticeable fact that HMF content decreased significantly with time at $5^{\circ}C$. Diastase activity decreased with time and elevated temperature, and that of acacia honey was below 8 which is the Codex limit after six months of storage at $35^{\circ}C$. Buckwheat honey showed the same level of the activity after eight months. Fructose and glucose content decreased significantly with increased temperature. The ratio of fructose to glucose increased with temperature and maltose was detected in the sample stored at $35^{\circ}C$.

The application of livestock manure to cropland is a practice that has been used for centuries. Agricultural crops can utilize nutrients from manure, and the producer can utilize land for disposal, although in a "sustainable system" the concept is manure utilization and not waste disposal. However, meeting regulatory criteria regarding microbial quality remains an expensive and time consuming process. The purpose of this study was to quantify the level of environmental impact of soil moisture and temperature on fecal coliform (Escherichia coli or E. coli) survival in upland soils for sound application of livestock manure. Samples were collected up to 30 days depending on the given conditions. The inactivation rate of E. coli increased linearly with increased temperature while the inactivation rate gradually decreased with decreased soil moisture level. The overall findings of this study showed that the temperature was the limited factor on E. coli survival in soils over soil moisture content. This study will provide useful and practical guidelines to applicators of soil in deciding appropriate handling and time frames for land application for sustainable agriculture.
Recycling of bottom ash from municipal solid waste (MSW) incinerator has been strictly limited due to its composition of high level chlorine and other unfavorable substances. The composition of MSW has been, however, changed after the introduction of garbage-bag sales system, extended producer responsibility (EPR) policy and the prohibition of direct landfill of food waste. Recent waste shows reduced moisture and chlorine content, increased calorific value due to the separation of food waste, incombustible materials and PVC. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the trend of composition changes of MSW incinerator bottom ash and to compare the analytical results with those before the separation system was introduced. CaO content of bottom ash, one of the major component of cement clinker, increased from 26.7% in 2001 to 34.0% in 2006. The chlorine content showed a dramatic decrease from 1.84% in 2001 to 0.00655% in 2006, which is closely compatible with that of the fly ash of coal-utilizing thermal power plants, which is mainly due to the changes of MSW composition. It is eventually considered that there is a possibility of utilizing the incinerator bottom ash as a raw material of cement clinker feed substances.

The objective of this article is to identify an alternative strategy for brand marketing through a case study of the Korean boy band BTS, which has recently seen a huge success in the global music scene. BTS has actively used transmedia storytelling as a tool to survive in the competitive music market. Transmedia storytelling refers to stories that are expanded across different media platforms, engaging audiences to explore from one medium to another to undergo multiple experiences. It gives audiences various ways of enjoying cultural content and participating in cultural content production through numerous media outlets. BTS has established and spread its fictional universe through albums, music videos, short films and webtoons, and has launched diverse projects where fans actively share, create, and play with their content. By inviting fans to actively participate in and interact with the BTS universe spreading through multiple media platforms, BTS can keep its fans engaged and energized. These activities have generated an emotional bond between BTS and their fans, which further leads to a worldwide fandom, based not on a producer-customer relationship but on mutual trust. The BTS case demonstrates the potential of transmedia storytelling as a useful benchmark to provide a positive brand experience for customers, which eventually enhances brand attachment and brand loyalty.

The effects of fetal mesencephalic cell grafts on the restoration of nigrostriatal dopaminergic function were studied in the intrastriatal 6-hydroxydopamine-lesioned rats. Four weeks after lesioning, transplantation of ventral mesencephalic cells from embryonic day 14 fetuses showed the number of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) positive cells and fiber outgrowth in the grafted striatum, and significantly ameliorated symptomatic motor behavior of the animals, as determined by apomorphine-induced rotation. Furthermore, in substantia nigra pars compacta (SNc), the numbers of TH + cells and fibers were markedly restored. Dopamine content of ipsilateral SNc was close to that of contralateral SNc $(91.9{\pm}9.8%)$ in the transplanted animals, while the ratio was approximately 32% in sham-grafted animals. These results indicate that grafted cells restored the activity for the dopaminergic neurons located in SNc, although they were transplanted into striatum. In addition, we showed that the implanted fetal cells expressed high level of glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF), suggesting that the transplanted fetal cells might serve as a dopamine producer and a reservoir of neurotrophic factors. These results may be helpful in consideration of the therapeutic transplantation at early stage of PD.
