  • The purpose of this research was to provide fundamental data required for the process design of conveying, storage and processing of food powders. Potato starch, corn starch, wheat protein, soybean protein, and model food powders prepared by mixing potato starch and wheat protein were selected and their sorption characteristics such as equilibrium moisture content, monolayer moisture content, and sorption enthalpy were determined. Equilibrium moisture content and monolayer moisture content of high starch powders were higher than those of high protein powders, and the equilibrium moisture content decreased with temperature. The determination coefficients of the regression equations to predict the equilibrium moisture content of food powders were from 0.997 to 0.999. Sorption enthalpy experiments indicated that powder of high moisture content showed lower sorption than that of low· moisture content, and the high protein powder showed lower sorption than high starch powder.

  • In this study, models for predicting the popularity of mukbang content on YouTube were proposed, and factors influencing the popularity of mukbang content were identified through post-analysis. To accomplish this, information on 22,223 pieces of content was collected from top mukbang channels in terms of subscribers using APIs and Pretty Scale. Machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest, XGBoost, and LGBM were used to build models for predicting views and likes. The results of SHAP analysis showed that subscriber count had the most significant impact on view prediction models, while the attractiveness of a creator emerged as the most important variable in the likes prediction model. This confirmed that the precursor factors for content views and likes reactions differ. This study holds academic significance in analyzing a large amount of online content and conducting empirical analysis. It also has practical significance as it informs mukbang creators about viewer content consumption trends and provides guidance for producing high-quality, marketable content.

  • The compression creep behavior of grains when loaded depends not only on load but also on duration of load application. The most common methods of studying the load-time characteristics of agricultural products is by employing rheological models such as Burger's model. However it is sometimes not sufficient to describe the viscoelastic behavior of grains to be Burger's model. For this reason, this study was conducted to develop the rheological model which represented the creep compliance response of the rough rice kernel and was a function of initial stress applied and time. The effects of the initial stress applied and the moisture content on the compression creep behavior of the rough rice kernel were analyzed. The results were obtained from the study as follows: 1. Since the viscoelastic behavior of the rough rice kernel was nonlinear, the transient and steady state creep compliance was satisfactorily modelled as follows: $$J({\sigma},t)=A{\sigma}^B[C+Dt-exp(-Ft)]$$ But, for the every stress applied, the compression creep behavior of the samples tested can be well described by Burger's model respectively. 2. The creep compliance, the instantaneous elastic strain, the retarded elastic strain and the viscous strain of the sample tested generally increased in magnitude with increasing the applied initial stress and the moisture content used in the tests. At low moisture content, the creep compliance for the Japonica-type rough rice kernel Was a little higher than those for Indica-type and at high moisture content, vice versa at high moisture content. 3. The retardation times of the samples had not an uniform tendency by the initial stress and the moisture content. The retardation times ranged from 0.66 to 6.76 seconds, and the creep progressed from transient to steady state at a relatively high rate. 4. The less viscous strain than the instantaneous elastic strain for the samples tested indicated that rough rice kernel behaved as a viscoelastic body characterized by elasticity than viscosity.

  • In this paper, we present a content-dependent authorization mechanism for object-oriented database systems. So far, several models of authorization for object-oriented databases have been proposed, but most of these models do not support the authorization based on the database content. This paper shows how the traditional content-independent authorization model can be extended to provide the content-dependent authorization using predicates on the values of attributes of a class. The proposed model makes it possible to group objects that satisfy the specified conditions on the values of the objects and to grant a single authorization on those objects. This model supports the negative authorization and provides the concept of the strong and weak authorization to resolve conflicts between positive and negative authorizations. In addition, we address and resolve some of the problems that arise when the predicates are associated with the authorization. In particular, since the authorization operations of the traditional content- independent model become inadequate for our mode, we redefine the semantics of the authorization operations.

  • This study was worked out to obtain fundamental data needed for developing a continuous type dryer. The drying process in a cross-flow type continuous dryer was expressed as partial differential equations, and a drying simulation model for predicting rice moisture content, rice temperature, drying air absolute humidity, drying air temperature was developed by using the finite difference method. To validate the performance of the drying simulation model, a prototype continuous dryer was constructed in this study. The size of the test dryer was one-tenth to that of a commercial continuous dryer. The difference in the outlet rice moisture content between the predicted values and the measured values was within 0.5%, that of outlet rice temperature was below $3^{\circ}C$, that of drying air temperature in drying bed was within $8^{\circ}C$ and that of relative humidity of outlet drying air was big because of the different measuring point. In addition, a drying simulation model for a actual size continuous dryer with double flow was developed in this study. This drying simulation model included the rice mixing effect in the middle of drying length. The difference of outlet moisture content between the predicted and the measured values showed below 0.5% in this study.

  • This paper presents content adaptive image watermark embedding using stochastic visual model based on multiwavelet transform. To embedding watermark, the original image is decomposed into 4 levels using a discrete multiwavelet transform, then a watermark is embedded into the JND(just noticeable differences) of the image each subband. The perceptual model is applied with a stochastic approach fer watermark embedding. This is based on the computation of a NVF(noise visibility function) that have local image properties. The perceptual model with content adaptive watermarking algorithm embed at the texture and edge region for more strongly embedded watermark by the JND. This method uses stationary Generalized Gaussian model characteristic because watermark has noise properties. The experiment results of simulation of the proposed watermark embedding method using stochastic visual model based on multiwavelet transform techniques was found to be excellent invisibility and robustness.

  • In order to survery the risk of air-borne lead to human, the relation between air-borne lead level and blood lead level was examined by using of the kinetic model and statistical model. The results of this survey were as follows: 1. The pathways of lead intake were food and water, mainly. 2. Though blood lead level of Korean urbanire was higher than that of American or Japanese, it was not so severe as to influence human health. 3. The lead content in food and water was high, and so it is needed to confirm the cause of high content was whether second contamination by air pollution or not.
