eSports Fan Identity Consumer and Live Game Watching Behavior: Professional Player Fan Identity Perspective

  • This study investigated whether the Point of attachment (POA) theory can be used to measure the consumption intention on go and watch offline eSports games. The admiration for players, social interaction, and on-site consumption requirements for viewing offline eSports competitions are prioritized. In addition, eSports fans in various regions may have distinct consumption concepts and consumption patterns. Thus, this study surveyed China (n = 156) and South Korea (n = 127) eSports fans who subjectively perceive themselves to be fans of eSports player(s) and who have observed at least one offline eSports game. The results demonstrate that player attraction and socialization have positive and significant effects on offline consumption factors. There is no correlation between previous consumption behavior and satisfaction, but dining shows a significant positive effect on satisfaction. Moreover, there is a strong relationship between satisfaction and future attendance intention. In addition, effect of eSports fan attachment on future visit intentions are measured and there is no correlation between the two variables. The front end of the path in the new model's varied between Chinese and Korean supporters. Finally, theoretical and practical implications of this study are discussed.

천연발효빵 제품의 선호도 및 만족도와 소비행동에 따른 군집분석 (K-mean Cluster Analysis according to Consumption Behavior, Preference and Satisfaction of Naturally Fermented Bread Products)

  • This study used K-mean cluster analysis to evaluate the preference and satisfaction according to consumption behavior of naturally fermented bread products among customers residing in the Seoul area. Naturally fermented bread products were best recognized as "great nutrients for good health" ($3.91{\pm}0.87$). The preference for naturally fermented bread products was due to "good taste and flavor" ($3.39{\pm}0.95$), and customers with "intention to purchase" showed a mean of $3.21{\pm}0.94$. The overall satisfaction for naturally fermented bread products was $3.26{\pm}0.75$. Among the specific categories that contributed to this overall satisfaction, "quality" showed the highest satisfaction with $3.43{\pm}0.77$, whereas "price" ($2.77{\pm}0.76$) and "variety" ($2.77{\pm}0.75$) exhibited the lowest. Among the items to modify for naturally fermented bread products, "variety" was the most important item (21.8%), followed by "lower price" and "convenience of purchase" at 19.7% and 17.9%, respectively. In K-mean cluster analysis, customers who frequently visited the bakery and purchased naturally fermented bread products (cluster 1) expressed strong preference, satisfaction, and consumption behavior. Furthermore, these customers expressed high satisfaction in "quality", "convenience of purchase", and "variety" of naturally fermented bread products.

은행 기업고객의 재거래의도 영향요인 (An Empirical Study on the Influencing Factors of Repurchase Intentions for Bank's Corporate Customers)

  • 본 연구는 재구매의도에 대한 기존연구에서 중요한 결정변수로 연구되어온 고객만족과 서비스 품길 외에 소비정서 및 전환비용을 새롭게 도입하여 기를 고객의 유지전략인 재구매의도의 영향요인를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 은행에 거래하는 기업고객들과 기업고객을 담당하고 있는 은행직원으로부터 자료를 수집하여 구조방정식 모형를 이용하여 가설을 검증하였다. 본 연구곁과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 재구매의도의 가장 중요한 결정번수는 고객만즉으로 제시되고 있다. 둘째, 서비스 품절을 측정 시 서비스가 고객에게 전달되어지는 과정을 의미하는 과정 품길 외에 고객이 서비스로부터 실제로 받거나 또는 서비스 공급자에 의해 전담되어지는 결과 품질을 함께 측정하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 긍정적인 소비정서는 고객만족에 정(+)의 영향을, 부정적인 소비정서는 고객만족과 재구매의도에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 전환비용은 상대적으로 영향력은 크지 않았으나 고객만족, 부정적 소비정서와 함께 재구매의도의 선행요인으로 작용하고 있음을 보여주고 있다. 겯론적으로 고객의 재구매의도에 대한 선행요인으로 고객만족과 과정품질의 상대적 영향력이 제일 크게 나타나고 있으며 긍정적 소비정서, 부정적 소비정서. 결과 품질 및 천환비용 역시 기업거래 고객의 재구매의도를 예측하는 변수로 활용될 수 있음을 제안해 죽 있다.

기업고객의 은행거래 지속의도에 대한 영향요인 (Influencing Factors on Repurchase Intentions of Bank's Corporate Customers)

  • 본 연구는 재구매의도에 대한 기존연구에서 중요한 결정변수로 연구되어온 고객 만족과 서비스 품질 외에 소비정서 및 전환비용을 새롭게 도입하여 기존 고객의 유지전략은 재구매의도의 영향요인을 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 A은행에 거래하는 기업고객들에게 설문지 620부를 배부하여 자료를 수집하였으며 이들 중 374부와 기업고객을 담당하고 있는 은행직원으로부터 112부의 설문지를 회수하여 LISREL 8.12로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 재구매의도의 가장 중요한 결정변수는 고객만족으로 제시되고 있다. 둘째, 서비스 품질을 측정시 서비스가 고객에게 전달되어지는 과정을 의미하는 과정 품질 외에 고객이 서비스로부터 실제로 받거나 또는 서비스 공급자에 의해 전달되어지는 결과 품질을 함께 측정하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 긍정적인 소비정서는 고객만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 부정적인 소비정서는 고객만족과 재구매의도에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 전환비용은 상대적으로 영향력은 크지 않았으나 고객만족, 부정적 소비정서와 함께 재구매의도의 선행요인으로 작용하고 있음을 보여주고 있다. 결론적으로 고객의 재구매의도에 대한 선행요인으로 고객만족과 과정품질의 상대적 영향력이 제일 크게 나타나고 있으며 긍정적 소비정서, 부정적 소비정서, 결과 품질 및 전환비용 역시 기업거래 고객의 재구매의도를 예측하는 변수로 활용될 수 있음을 제안해 주고 있다.

국내 친환경 농축산물의 소비행태와 만족도 분석 (Consumption Behaviors and Satisfaction Levels of Consumer towards Environmentally-Friendly Agricultural and Animal Products)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the consumption behaviors of environmentally-friendly agricultural products, including satisfaction of purchases. Questionnaires completed consumers were statistically analyzed. Regarding purchase frequencies of environmentally-friendly agricultural and animal products, consumers consumed them 1 time per month. No significant differences in consumption by age, living area, family type, or BMI were found. Exactly 38.2% of consumers preferred to purchase items in the packing amount of 0.2-0.5 kg, whereas 39.7% of consumers preferred amounts from 0.5-1.0 kg. Significant differences in packing amount were found according to age (p<0.05) and family type (p<0.01). However, there were no significant differences according to living area or BMI group. Many consumers made decisions based on the outer packing label (69.6%). Significant differences by age and living area were not found, whereas there was significant difference according to family type (p<0.05). Consumers answered that they purchased products in a general supermarket (24.7%) and cooperative (24.2%). Significant differences were found by age and living area (p<0.01) but not by family type. Consumer satisfaction of purchases scored 3.39 out of 5 points. In conclusion, significant differences in consumer satisfaction were not found according to age, living area, family type, or BMI.

베이비붐 세대의 소비수준과 삶의 만족도 관계 -주관적 기대감의 매개효과 검증- (The Influence of Consumption Level on Life Satisfaction in Baby-Boom Generation -Mediating Effect of Subjective Expectation-)

  • 본 연구는 베이비붐 세대의 소비수준이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 주관적 기대감(생활수준 및 정부정책)의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구에서 활용된 자료는 한국노동연구원의 2012년 제4차 고령화연구패널 조사이며, 베이비붐 세대인 1955년생부터 1961년생 1,756명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 자료 분석은 빈도분석 및 기술통계를 실시하였고, SPSS 21.0 패키지 프로그램을 사용하여 연구모형을 분석하였으며, Sobel test를 통해 매개효과를 검증하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 베이비붐 세대의 소비수준이 높을수록 삶의 만족도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 베이비붐 세대의 삶의 만족도에 소비수준이 미치는 효과는 주관적 기대감에 부분 매개되는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 분석결과를 바탕으로 베이비붐 세대의 주관적 기대감 및 삶의 질 향상을 위해 나아가야할 방향에 대해서 이론적 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.

스마트폰 이용고객의 소비가치가 관계적 요인과 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Consumption Value of Smartphone Users on Relational Factors and Repurchase Intention)

  • Purpose - As the smart-phone market adds new technologies and introduces new marketing trends, competition among companies is getting fierce. Now, smart-phone companies need to pay attention not only to attaining new customers but also to retaining customers, which means managing relationships to prevent customer defection. Therefore, how to satisfy customer needs and maintain long-term relations are both important to make consistent progress in the rapidly changing smart-phone market. To illustrate this point, the study focuses on analyzing the effects of consumption value on relational factors and buying intentions among smart-phone users. First, consumption value was divided into functional, economic, and emotional values. After that, the effects of these values on satisfaction and brand trust were confirmed. Additionally, effects of satisfaction and brand trust on repurchase intention were analyzed. Research design, data, and methodology - The data was collected in a self-administered survey among 270 undergraduate students, using smart-phones between June 4th-12th, 2012. A total of 257 questionnaires were collected and used for the data analysis. A path analysis based on Lisrel 8.54 was used for the hypothesis test. Consumption value was divided into functional, economic, and emotional values. Subsequently, the effects of these values on satisfaction and trust in the brand were confirmed. Additionally, the effects of satisfaction and trust in the brand on repurchase intention were analyzed. Results - First, functional value, economic value, and emotional value - especially emotional value - were revealed to have positive effects on satisfaction. Second, emotional value was shown to have positive effects on brand trust, while functional and economic values did not. Third, satisfaction had positive effects on brand trust. In considering the relative influence on brand trust, satisfaction was the most crucial factor. It is clear that in the evaluation of the direct experience, using the product or the service plays an important role in building brand trust. Fourth, satisfaction and brand trust positively influenced repurchase intention. This indicates that both factors must be achieved to induce the repurchase Intention among customers. Conclusions - One can see that the enjoyable emotions consumers feel while using smart-phones is the most important factor in increasing levels of satisfaction. Moreover, this indicates that consumers pursue economic desires along with convenient functions in order to reduce opportunity costs. Additionally, consumers are affected by psychological and emotional messages in building trust, rather than practical and rational ones. Thus, in order to appeal to young clients as an attractive brand in the smart-phone market, approaching customers with an emotional value is recommended. In addition, in order for the brand to gain trust, the overall experience the consumer feels while using smart phones should be maximized. After all, one must fulfill the consumers' desire for a new experience and show a willingness to faithfully accomplish the responsibility of the brand to strengthen relationships with customers in the smart-phone market.

모바일 패션 쇼핑몰에서 소비가치에 따른 충동구매행동 연구 (The Study of Impulse Buying Behavior according to Consumption Value in Mobile Fashion Shopping Mall)

  • This study investigates differences in fashion products attributes, mobile shopping mall attributes, impulse buying behavior, and satisfaction according to mobile shoppingconsumption value. The findings provide new information on marketing strategy for mobile shopping malls. A total of 283 usable questionnaires were obtained from college students. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, and ANOVA using SPSS 21.0 for Windows. The results were as follows. First, according to the consumption value, consumer were classified into 3 groups: social/functional oriented, indifference and epistemic/emotional oriented. Second, the conspicuous-functional pursuit group considered utility and exhibition more important in regards to fashion products attributes for the consumption value group, the personality pursuit group also considered aesthetics and utility more important than other groups. Third, conspicuous-functional pursuit group considered continuous management more importantin regards to the importance ofmobile shopping mall attributes for the consumption value group, the personality pursuit group considered informationexchange more important than the other groups. Fourth, the conspicuous-functional pursuit group and Personality pursuit group considered impulse purchase behavior more important than the emotionalpursuit group. The conspicuous-functional pursuit group considered satisfaction after impulse purchase behavior more important than other groups.

Students' dietary habits, food service satisfaction, and attitude toward school meals enhance meal consumption in school food service

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: This study aimed to compare student consumption of school meals by school level, to identify the influencing factors of school meal consumption, and to assess improvement needs of school food service among students. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A total of 1,441 elementary, middle, and high school students attending 58 schools in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea participated in the survey in 2015. A questionnaire and informed consent forms for students and legal guardians were sent home and completed responses were returned to the researcher. RESULTS: Approximately 58% of the students perceived the portion sizes of school meals as appropriate and 76.1% consumed almost all or all of the meals served. More elementary and middle school students than high school students consumed almost all or all of the meals (P < 0.001). A regression analysis revealed that the students with a higher dietary behavior score (P < 0.001), higher satisfaction with food service (P < 0.001), a higher environmental protection practice score (P < 0.05), and more positive attitudes toward school meals (P < 0.01) consumed significantly more meals. The provision of foods that taste good and reflecting student opinions on menus were the most important factors for increasing school meal consumption. CONCLUSIONS: To increase consumption of school meals, food service staff should provide students with quality meals and engage students in school food service. Nutrition education that emphasizes healthy eating behaviors and cafeteria environment modification that applies strategies based on behavioral economics can encourage students to consume more school meals.

중국 소비자 라이프스타일이 한국 중·저가 화장품의 지각된 가치, 구매의도, 만족도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Chinese Consumer lifestyles on perceived value, purchase intention, and satisfaction of Korean medium & low price cosmetics)

  • 중국의 경제성장은 많은 것을 변화하게 했으며 특히 외국문화 수용 후 소비자들의 소비패턴과 생활양식을 크게 변화시켰다. 급변화한 중국 소비자들을 이해하기 위해 이들의 라이프 스타일과 소비행동에 미치는 요인과 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 먼저, 라이프스타일을 브랜드지향형, 가격민감형, 합리적소비형, 충동구매형으로 구분하고 화장품유형(기초 vs. 색조)에 따른 지각된 가치, 구매의도, 만족도에 따른 각각의 차이를 확인하였다. 그 결과, 기초화장품에서 브랜드지향형과 가격민감형에서 지각된 가치에 대한 차이만 통계적으로 유의했다. 브랜드지향형과 합리적소비형 그리고 가격민감형과 합리적소비형, 합리적소비형과 충동구매형 집단에서만 지각된가치, 구매의도, 만족도에 유의한 차이를 보였으나 브랜드지향형과 충동구매, 가격민감형과 충동구매에 대한 차이는 유의하지 않았다. 색조화장품에서는 브랜드지향형과 가격민감형 그리고 브랜드지향형과 합리적소비형, 가격민감형과 합리적소비형, 합리적소비형과 충동구매형에서의 차이는 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났으나, 충동구매형과 브랜드지향형, 충동구매형과 가격민감형에서는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과에 기반하여 유통 서비스에 관한 관리적 함의도 제시하였다.
