의복 이미지 선호에 따른 20대 여성 정장시장 세분화 및 색채 선호도 (Fashion Image Segmentation of 20's Female Apparel Market and Apparel Color Preferences)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to segment 20's female apparel market using consumer's fashion image preference in formal wear, and 2) to identify the group differences in seasonal color (hue and tone) and color image (image associate with lightness and chroma) preference as well as in demographic variables. The subjects were 253 females in their late twenties living in Seoul, Korea. The data were collected using self-administred questionnaires and analyzed by factor analysis. Cluster analysis, $\chi$2 -test, one-way ANOVA, and Duncan test. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Four fashion image groups were identified through cluster analysis using consumer's fashion image preference: Elegant image group, Sexy image group, Lively image group, and Romantic image group. 2) There were significant differences among fashion image groups in hue preference for spring clothes, tone preferences for spring and fall clothes. Color images are associated with lightness for spring and summer, and are associated with chroma for spring, summer, and fall. Group differences in demographic variables were found in socio-economic status and average expenditure for formal jacket.

가계의 주관적 경제상태와 객관적 경제구조 (Household Economic Structure and Subjective Evaluation on Economic Status of Households)

  • The purpose of this study was to find how economic structures differ among four different household groups('enough', 'so so', 'a little difficult', 'very difficult') classified by subjective evaluation on their economic conditions. The data were drawn from 2004 Korean Labor and Income Panel Study conducted by Korea Labor Institute, and $X^2$-test and F-test were utilized by SPSS for Windows 10.0. The major findings were as following. First, the economic levels of household groups of 'enough' and 'so so' showed to be higher than the average. This result implies that households tend to evaluate by themselves their economic conditions comparing to the others. Second, the deviations of average economic levels among four different household groups were relatively bigger in household economic elements of liquid asset, monthly savings and insurance than the others, and relatively smaller in household economic elements of total expenditure, especially expenditures in food at home, education, medical, communication than the others. Third, the households of 'a little difficult' and 'very difficult' showed undesirable economic structures resulting from lack of savings and insurance for their future.

토빗분석을 적용한 X세대, MZ세대의 외식지출 영향요인 (The Factors Affecting Dining-out Expenses by Generation X and Generation MZ Based on Tobit Model)

  • The food service industry has grown larger with changes in the economic and socio-cultural environment. In this saturated food service industry, generation X and MZ are the main consumer forces that demand attention. That is because a generation is the main psychographic factor that reflects personal values and lifestyle based on one's life cycle. From such a perspective, a generation in marketing has been used as a variable to predict a market by supplementing demographic factors. Accordingly, this study classified generations into generation X and generation MZ with the use of the 2019 consumer behavior survey for food by Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) and then investigated the factors influencing group and personal dining-out expenses. The analysis was carried out applying the Tobit model using SPSS and R. The positively influential variables on generation X's personal dining-out expenditure were male, single person, high income and simple lifestyle, whereas housewives, personal ethical consciousness, behavioral ethical consciousness, and safe dietary life were negatively influential variables. The positively influential variables on generation MZ's personal dining-out expenditures were male, dual-income, high education level, corporate and governmental ethical consciousness, while the number of family members and safe dietary life were negatively influential variables.

병원중심 가정간호사업 관리대상범위 확대를 위한 기초연구 (A Preliminary Study for Expending of Hospital-Based Horne Health Care Coverage - Focused on Accident Inpatients Who has the Workers Compensation Insurance -)

  • This study was attempt to encourage for developing on rehabilitation delivery system and programs as a substitute service instead of hospitalization for accident patients at work, such as hospital based home health care nursing service. It needs vary substitutes service of hospitalization to curtail the length of stay for inpatients who were hospitalized with workers compensation insurance. It focused on developing an estimation of early discharge day of accident inpatients based on a detail statement of treatment for 115 inpatients who were hospitalized at General Hospital in 1997. This study has four specific purpose as follows. First, to find out the status of health service utilization. Second, to estimate the early discharge days and income increasing effect based on the early discharge for those patients. Third, to identify the factors to affect total medical expenditure and the length of stay for those inpatients. Forth, to figure out the need of utilizing home health care nursing service for accident patients. In order to analyze of the length of stay and medical expenditure for inpatients who were hospitalized due to the accident, the authors conducted with micro-analysis and macroanalysis from medical records and medical expenditure records. Micro-analysis was done by nominal group discussion of 4 expertise with the critical criteria. such as a decrease in the amount of treatment after surgery, treatments, tests, drugs and changes in the tests consistency, drug methods, vital signs, start of ROM exercise, doctor's order, patient's outside visiting ability, stable conditions. In addition to identify affected variables for medical expenditure. the length of stay and income effect due to early discharge day, the data was analyzed with multiple regression analysis and linear regression analysis model by SPSS-PC for windows and Excell program. Results of this study as follows. First, the mean length of stay was 37.1 days, whereas the mean length of stay due to early discharge was 28.2 days at the hospital. The estimation of early discharge days were shown that depends on the length of stay. The longer length of stay, the longer length of early discharge days, such as under 7 days length of stay patients was to estimated the mean length of stay was 4.9 days and early discharge days was 4.6. whereas the mean length of stay was 122.6 days and early discharge days was 92.0 respectively. The mean medical expenditure per day were found to be 133.409 Won. whereas the mean medical expenditure per day was shown negative linear trends according to the length of stay at the hospital. The estimation results of the income effect due to 11 early discharge days per bed was around 2,150,000 won. However, it means not the real benefits from early discharge, but the income increasing amount without considering medical prime cost in general hospital. Therefore, it needs further analysis on the cost containments and benefits under the considering as well turn over rates per bed as the medical prime costs. The length of stay was most significant and the sign was positive to the total medical expenditure, as expected. Surgery and patient's residential area also an important variable in explaining medical expenditure. The level of complications was most significant variable in explaining the length of stay. The level of the needs on horne health care nursing service which can be used for early discharge accident patients were shown very high. The needs distribution varied from 65.5% of patients and 88.9% of caregivers, to 96.4% of doctors, and 99.1% of nurses. In addition horne health nurse responded that they can be managed the accident inpatients from early discharge. From these research findings. the following suggestions has been drawn it needs to develop strategies on rehabilitation delivery system in order to focused on consumer's side which is planned for 21 century health policy in Korea. Vary intermediate facilities and horne health care would have been developed in the community based for comprehensive rehabilitation services as a substitutes of hospitalization for shortening the length of stay of hospitalizations. In hospital based horne health care nursing service, it's available immediately to utilize for the patients who wanted rehabilitation services as a substitutes of hospitalization under the cooperations with workers compensation insurance company.

  • This study was an attempt to encourage the development of a rehabilitation delivery system and programs as a substitute service for hospitalization on the case of car accident patients, such as hospital based home health care nursing services. Various substitute services for hospitalization are required to curtail the length of stay for inpatients who were hospitalized with car accident compensation insurance. It focused on developing an estimation an early discharge day for car accident inpatients based on detailed statements of treatment for 111 inpatients who were hospitalized at the General Hospital in 1997. This study had four specific purposes as follows. First. to find out the utilization of medical services. Second, to estimate the time of early discharge and income increasing effect based on early discharge for those patients. Third, to identify the factors affecting total medical expenditure and the length of stay for those inpatients. Forth, to figure out the need of utilizing home health care nursing service for accident patients. In order to analyze the length of stay and medical expenditure for inpatients who were hospitalized due to car accidents, the authors conducted micro- and macro-analysis of medical and medical expenditure records. In addition to identifying variables affecting medical expenditure, and the length of stay and income effect due to early discharge day, the data was analyzed with a multiple regression analysis and linear regression analysis model by SPSS-PC for windows and Excell program. Results of this study were as follows. First. the mean length of stay was 50.3 days. whereas the mean length of stay due to early discharge was 34.3 days at the hospital. The estimation of time of early discharge depended on the length of stay. The longer the length of stay, the longer the length of time of early discharge : for instance a length of stay under 10 days was estimated as correlating to a mean length of stay of 6.6 days and early discharge of 6.5. The mean length of stay was 217.4 days and the time of early discharge was 110.1 respectively. The mean medical expenditure per day was found to be 169.085 Won and the mean medical expenditure per day showed negative linear trends according to the length of stay at the hospital. The estimation results of the income effect due to being discharged 16 days early was around 2,244,000 won per bed. However. this sum does not represent the real benefits resulting from early discharge, but rather the income increasing amount without considering medical prime cost in the general hospital. Therefore, further analysis is required on the cost containments and benefits as turn over rate per bed as the medical prime costs. The length of stay was most significant and was positive to the total medical expenditure, as expected. Surgery and patient's residential area was also an important variable in explaining medical expenditure. The level of complications was the most significant variable in explaining the length of stay. There was a high level for need a home health care nursing service which further supports early discharge for accident patients. In addition, when the patient was discharged. they needed follow up care for complications suffered during the car accident. $86.8\%$ of discharged patients responded that they needed home health services after early discharge. From these research findings, the following suggestions have been drawn. Strategies on a health care delivery system must be developed in order to focus on the consumer's needs and being planned for 21 century health policy in Korea. Community based intermediate facilities or home health care should be developed for rehabilitation services as a substitute for hospitalization in order to shorten the length of stay would be. A hospital based home health care nursing service. it would be available immediately to utilize by patients who want rehabilitation services as a substitute for hospitalization with the cooperation of car insurance companies.

1인가구의 품목별 소비지출 분석 (An Analysis of Single-person Households' Expenditure Pattern)

  • 본 연구에서는 토빗모형을 이용하여 1인가구의 소비패턴이 연령별, 소득별로 얼마나 다른지 추정하였다. 분석을 위해 2006년부터 2012년까지 통계청 가계동향조사의 지출 데이터를 이용하였다. 추정결과, 음식료품, 주거 및 수도광열, 통신 지출을 제외한 모든 품목에서 1인가구의 소득탄력성은 1보다 크게 나타났으며 품목별로 다른 소비 특성을 보인다는 것을 확인했다. 또한 1인가구의 품목별 소득탄력성은 연령별, 소득별로 크게 차이를 보였다. 향후 1인가구의 관련 정책 또는 기업의 전략을 수립할 때 연령별, 소득별로 차별화된 접근이 필요할 것이다. 특히 기업은 1인가구 중 고소득 미혼자 그룹 등 구매력이 큰 소비자의 소비를 이끌어내는 전략이 필요할 것이다. 1인가구가 증가함에 따라서 음식료품이나 에너지 등과 같은 필수재구매 비중이 줄어들고 서비스에 대한 수요가 늘어날 것이다. 따라서 1인가구 증가에 따른 보건, 의료, 기사지원 등 서비스 시장 확대에 대비한 정책 대응이 필요하다.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a large representative data base for jeans marketing strategy This study was to survey brand features(launching year, launching company, design concept, sales volume, and price zone) in the current market, and was to examine brand awareness and it's relationship to segmented distribution regions, demo- graphic variables(sex, age, monthly household income, and seasonal clothing expenditure). This study was also to analyze brand image and consumer's seeking image. The 660 questionnaires were distributed and 618 reliable ones were used for statistical analysis. A SAS statistical package including frequency table, Chi-square test, factor analysis, analysis of variance(ANOVA), Duncan's multiple range test and paired-t test was used. The results are as follows: 1. Brand awareness involves "brand recall" based on asking a person to name the brand recalled first, and "brand recognition" based on asking to identify brand name from 30 given brands. The result of recall brand test indicated that Levi's was dominant brand. People recognized about 70.8% of brands on the average. Brand recognition was influenced by segmented distribution region and demographic variables. 2. There was significantly positive relationship between brand recognition and purchasing behavior. 3. National brands were more recognized than Licensed brands. 4. The result showed that "Nix" was best represented for sophisticated brand image, "Strom" for characteristic, "Jambangee" for resonable price, and "Levi's" for classic '||'&'||' comfortable brand image. 5. As a result of factor analysis on consumer's seeking image, six factors(characteristic, young, intelligent/sexy, comfortable, exotic and popular) were found. Several factors had a relationship with preferred design, demographic variables, fashion interest, and brand recognition. variables, fashion interest, and brand recognition.

소비자구매행동유형에 따른 의류제품의 환경친화적 소비행동 분석 (Consumer's Pro-environmental Behavior Relating to Clothing by the Style of Purchase Behavior)

  • Or this research, it was investigated the differences in the pro-environmental behaviors in purchase, use and management, and disposal of clothing by socio-demographic characteristics and other variables. In addition, it was classified Korean consumers into several comsumer groups based on the different purchase behavior style, and then investigated the difference among these consumer groups in purchase, use and management, and disposal of clothing in light of the pro-environmental behavior. The following is the summary of the main results. First, consumers with high income and ha41g a lot of clothing were less likely to purchase used-clothing while consumers who were non-married and in low-income status were more likely to rent clothing. In additions, female, married consumers, and consumers with less-educated were more likely to manage their clothing frequently. Second, it was classified consumers into several groups based on the different purchase behavior style, these were "rational purchasing", "saving-money purchasing", "regretting for their purchasing", and "over-purchasing". Third, "saving-money purchasing" group showed a high expenditure rate in the purchase of used-clothing but a low rate in "over-purchasing" group. The frequency of management of clothing was the highest in the group of "over-purchasing" and the next in the group of "saving-money purchasing". The group of "over-purchasing" were more likely to show irrational decision-making style, manage and disposal their clothing frequently, "saving-money purchasing" purchased used-clothing frequently, and the level of management of clothing were less in the group of "regretting for their purchasing".

수산물 마아케팅 경로(FMC)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fisheries Marketing Channels)

  • How to distribute fisheries catches from producer to consumer is very important for everybody joined fisheries marketing channels (FMC), because most people are influenced their revenue and expenditure through marketing channels. Many institutions in Korea after 1960's have tried to develop the rationalization of FMC, but they have not gotten the satisfactory results in general in spite of a lot fruits. Comparing with general manufacturing industry, the fisheries industry has some specializations in the marketing channels. It makes them unique structure included wholesale market system similiar to fresh (perishable) food market with expertised technology. Wholesale market collects, distributes the fisheries catches and evaluates in by auction or bidding without consideration of producer's opinion. It is very necessary institution to make a decision to equatible price for fresh food and to play an important role for marketing effectiveness with minimum total transation and with massed reserve among institutions. But it has two weak points to increase the marketing cost and to make products bad fresh (perishable). Therefore, both Producer and consumer want to find the direct channels not to pass through wholesale market and to get more profit. I wanted to explain what problems of traditional FMC are and why the direct channel is necessary as follows in this paper. Chapter II : The types and specialization of FMC Chapter III : The structure and problem of fisheries wholesale market channel Chapter IV Marketing cost of FMC and direct channel I suggested when the direct channel in FMC is designed, new planner must carry out marketing functions which are performanced by wholesaler, middle man and the joined members of auction at wholesale market. In view of consumption area, these functions are : (1) the finding of production partner to make a business ; (2) communication of information ; (3) collecting ; (4) distribution ; (5) selecting and grading ; (6) evaluating ; (7) financing and payment ; (8) organization, in view of consumption area. The government must support also the group or individual of new direct channels to succeed it with (1) furnishing of market information (2) supplying of land and facility (3) financing (4) feed-back of dierct channels totally (5) making an opportunity of communication between producer and consumer. I want to emphasize again wholesale market is necessary and important institution for equatible price of fresh food in spite of the its weak points. At the same time. the direct channels are necessary to reduce the marketing cost and to keep better fresh food.

식품표시에 대한 소비자 인식과 식품 구입: 식품위해 인식의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Perception of Food Labeling and Purchase of Food: The Moderating Effect of Food Risk Perception)

  • This study examined the influence of perceptions of food risk and food labeling on the purchase of labeled food items and the intention to pay higher prices for safe food. Data were obtained from the Korea Rural Economic Institute's Consumer Behavior Survey for Food 2020. The analysis focused on the responses of 6,355 consumers, all of whom were mainly responsible for food purchases. The analysis investigated the moderating effect of food risk perception on the relationship between food labeling perception and the purchase of labeled food. Regarding the purchase of labeled food, statistically significant effects were noted for gender, educational level, perception of food labeling, and perception of food risk; however, the interaction effect of perceptions of food labeling and food risk was not statistically significant. With regard to the intention to pay higher prices for safe food, except for age, statistically significant effects were observed for gender, educational level, food expenditure, perception of food labeling, and perception of food risk; moreover, the interaction effect of perceptions of food labeling and food risk was significant. The results indicate that consumers reporting low food labeling perception and low purchase of labeled food were most vulnerable regarding food safety; therefore, it is necessary to provide such consumers with food label provision methods and specified education programs.
