This study attempts to explore urban married women's needs for consumer information contents. In addition, the causality of the needs for consummer information contents and related variables is investigated. Major findings are the following: (1) Respondents' need for information on“the product selection”and “the use and management”of the washing maching or hair dryer is high, while the in need for the information on“the existing brands”is very low. (2) Among several relevent characteristics, respondents' product involvement is strongly related to the needs for consumer information contents. (3) The results of the analysis of casual model from washing maching showed that respondents' age, purchasing experience, perception of the price dispersion and quality difference, self confidence in the product evaluation affect on the need for consumer information contents directly. While respondents' income and education level show a indirect effect. (4) The results of the analysis of causal model from hair dryer showed that respondents' perception of the price dispersion, quality difference and product complexity affect on the need for consumer information contents directly. While respondents' age, purchasing experience, self-confidence in the product evaluation show a indirect effects.
Information technology is an important driving force that has changed consumer information environments. In order to adjust in the new environments, consumers need an innovative information system. The purpose of this study was to develop a Consumer Information System (CIS). CIS is a device that supports consumer's decision-making process and elevates consumer information competence. The CIS was constructed by the following steps: (1) organization of developers, (2) systematization of consumer information, (3) data loading, (4) integration of consumer database: data warehouse, (5) data distribution, (6) composition of data mart, (7) use of data access tools: data-mining, OLAP, statistical analysis, Q+R, (8) data visualization: web server.
The metacognitive experience of the ease or difficulty with which new, external information can be processed, referred to as 'processing fluency,' has been shown to influence a wide range of human judgments including truth judgments, familiarity judgments, risk perception, evaluation, and preference (see Alter and Oppenheimer 2009 for a review). The current research explores the possibility of a consumer's product innovativeness judgment based on the difficulty of processing new information. In specific, this study examines if the inferential link between (dis)fluency-(un)familiarity can feed into the perception of innovativeness. This study also explores how a consumer's processing motivation can moderate the consumer's reliance on processing fluency in judgments and how the influence of fluency can vary depending on judgment task orders. In an experiment, participants rated a new product's innovativeness and then indicated their product attitude (or vice versa depending on the judgment task order condition) after reading a product review article that was printed in either an easy-to-read or a difficult-to-read font (for fluency manipulation). The findings show that low need for cognition individuals infer higher product innovativeness when processing product information is difficult rather than easy, consistent with the common assumption that 'new information is more difficult to process than familiar information.' The findings also suggest that once low fluency is attributed to innovativeness, it may no longer lead to a negative response to the product. High need for cognition individuals' judgments on product innovativeness are not affected by fluency. The findings also demonstrate a judgment task order effect on the use of fluency in judgments (e.g., Xu and Schwarz 2005). This study provides the first evidence that an individual's fluency experience can be used as a source of information in product innovativeness judgments especially under low processing motivation conditions. The findings can help marketers better understand the malleability of consumer judgments and perceptions of product characteristics (e.g., product innovativeness) by demonstrating an interesting interplay of processing fluency, processing motivation, and judgment task-related contextual factors.

The purpose of the Consumer sentiment index survey is to determine the consumer's economic situation and consumption spending plan, and it is used as basic data for diagnosing economic phenomena and forecasting the future economic direction. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and predict the future Consumer sentiment index using the ARMA model based on the past consumer index. Consumer sentiment index is determined according to consumer trends, so it can reflect consumer realities. The consumer sentiment index is greatly influenced by economic indicators such as the base interest rate and consumer price index, as well as various external economic factors. If the consumer sentiment index, which fluctuates greatly due to consumer economic conditions, can be predicted, it will be useful information for households, businesses, and policy authorities. This study predicted the Consumer sentiment index for the next 3 years (36 months in total) by using time series analysis using the ARMA model. As a result of the analysis, it shows a characteristic of repeating an increase or a decrease every month according to the consumer trend. This study provides empirical results of prediction of Consumer sentiment index through statistical techniques, and has a contribution to raising the need for policy authorities to prepare flexible operating policies in line with economic trends.

In conventional ergonomics, consumer product can be made based on anthropometric data and specific design guideline. However, the product may not satisfy consumers because their emotional preference have not been properly considered in design phase. Therefore, in this study a new chair design process was introduced by which both consumer's emotional need and traditional ergonomic requirement can be satisfied. As a part of the process, the traditional Kansei engineering technique was modified to collect quantitative information of consumer's visual appreciation and physical feedback of various types of chairs. Furthermore, we developed an interface, so called, KADAS(Kamsung Analysis and Design Assistance System), for designers to use the technique in chair design. This software can help designers to understand what should be the most suitable shape in designing items such as seat, back and arm rest, etc. to meet the emotional need of consumers. This software displays the result of modified quantification theory I, and explains how to use the statistics. This study suggested a new approach for ergonomic design incorporated with Kansei Engineering technique. This technique can be also applied to other products by extending the database of KADAS.

Second, low activity of ADR and legal procedure support compare to other services provide from Non-Government Consumer organization. Third, statistic shows that employees from Non-Government Consumer organization recognize importance of consumer's ADR and government's support as well as enforcement of law. Forth, the preparation of Consumer ADR in Non-Government Consumer organization, selecting committee is the most important procedures are reinforce human resource, improvement of organization structure. Fifty, order to establish Consumer ADR in Non-Government Consumer organization, recruit professional manpower is the priority and financial support is also important. All these result would help improve the activity of ADR in Non-Government Consumer organization, which will lead the organization to be more professionalize, globalize and able to segment the market. Further more, Non-Government Consumer organization would develop better ways to take itself to another level to provide better service. Also, create an institution that will help consumer's dispute and legal procedure. It will prevent future victims and protect consumer's right.

Service Providers need to monitor the level of consumer's satisfaction on service they provide continuously and they use appropriate method to measure their operating status. They have to make a plan on their resource and infrastructure to provide their service in the right place at the right time whenever they need. Most previous studies on IT service quality are mainly focused on criteria or levels of quality measurement even though those criteria and levels should be set by considering consumer's needs. And considering for consumer's needs with managerial factors was not found on those studies. So, we suggest deducing quality factors for continuous improvement of IT service management system in this paper as identify the relative priority using QFD method which consider consumers' voices and managerial factors when decide quality factors of IT service management system introduced SLA. We also confirm that our suggestion is practicable and applicable for current operation by case study.

Results: Research finding indicates online sales promotion, delivery service, quality assurance, and online consumer satisfaction positively influence information search. Meanwhile, brand trust, quality assurance, and information search positively influence online shopping behavior. However, the result illustrates that consumer personality negatively influences both information search and online shopping behavior. Conclusions: To influence online shopping behavior, the most important factors that need to be considered by marketplaces are quality assurance. It positively motivates Indonesia's citizens to collect information and make unplanned purchases.
