This study aims to provide basic data for high-quality street tree management by setting reasonable management items and appropriate unit prices by reviewing the adequacy of current street tree management. Currently, street tree management items, except for street tree pruning, use general landscape tree quantity per unit for the street tree management quantity per unit. KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) applied pruning items from standard electric production infrastructure and carried out the activities at an average unit price of 51% lower for heavy pruning and 39% lower for light pruning than the standard estimate. This was judged to be a level that could not maintain or increase the quality of street tree management. It was determined that an appropriate standard unit price for street tree management was necessary. To improve the quantity per unit for the proper management of street trees, it was necessary to review costs in the field. However, due to the absence of data on actual construction costs in the domestic landscape field, detailed items of the US RSMeans Building Construction Cost Data (RSMeans) were reviewed, and the actual construction costs were calculated by applying personal domestic expenses. As a result, the standard of the estimated unit showed a good ratio of 107% for heavy pruning of street tree pruning compared to the actual construction cost, but light pruning was underestimated with a 59% ratio. Shrub pruning was 82%, weeding was 92%, tree fertilization was 87%, and windbreak wall installation was 91% under-engineered. In addition, it was also confirmed that the watering by sprinkler trucks and chemical spraying were over-designed compared to the actual construction cost at the rates of 118% and 124%, respectively. Due to the specificity of the street trees, the increase in personal expenses and the input cost of equipment, such as road safety controls, were judged to be the main cause of the underestimation of items. Therefore, it is necessary to add items related to street trees and general landscape trees to the landscape maintenance items of the standard of the estimated unit.

Cephalogram is one of the most important tool in researching growth and development of craniofacial area, orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning. But its inherent distortion of actual length and angles during projecting three dimensional object to two dimensional plane might cause errors in quantitative analysis of shape and size. three dimensional high quality images can be obtained using computerized tomogram and have reported in literatures. Considering its expenses and amount of exposure to radiation, limitations still remain to be solved in its application to routine practice. construction of three dimensional image using principle of orientator can be obtained by biplanar stereoradiography. Theoretically two images, lateral and P-A can be used to construct three dimensional image provided that those are taken at same time by two different focal spots. As two images(lateral and P-A) obtained by conventional cephalogram have different head posture, those need compensation to construct three dimensional images. This study introduced principle of computerized head posture compensation and showed that conventional cephalogram could be used to construct three dimensional image and could be applied to routine orthodontic practice.

Subway widely used as a major mean of public transportation both at home and abroad contributes to ease chronic traffic congestion in cities. However, subway operating expense is expected to increase continuously because subway requires vast amount of money at the construction stage, huge sum of maintenance cost is spent during operation, and passenger needs for more convenient facilities is increasing. on the contrary to enormous operating expenses, fare that is occupying most of operating income doesn't come up to its prime cost causing chronic operating deficit. It is urgent to prepare fare system improvement measures to increase operating income in order to resolve financial difficulty of a subway operating organization. Therefore, the current study analyzed present condition and problems of subway fare system, and suggested improvement measures such as improvement of fare adjustment procedure, improvement of free-ride system, diversification of ticket, etc.

This paper will arrange and classify the earthing system by the latest developed technique tendency, and suggest how to solve the problem of a current earthing system. The 3rd generation earthing system is environment-friendly and designed to use discharge electrodes, catalysts and heat rays. A discharge current has increased by 31 [A] in the 3rd generation of earthing system compared to the 2nd one and it is 25 times faster. This system is not buried under but built on the ground. It solves the problems that the current system has; expenses, time, area and pollutions followed by the construction.

In Korea, the rental apartments for low-income bracket have greatly been built and are being built now. But their management system is quite unstable and the residents' participation in the management is excluded throughly from the beginning. As a result, there are increasing complaints about their low quality of management as well as a self-righteous managerial behavior by the housing company. Therefore, it is required to be managed by residents in the rental apartmenr and especially the organization of management, such as decision making-executing-audition body, should be operated by the residents. To achieve this purpose, the management law should be consolidated into one and the method o imposing the expenses of repairing and maintenance should be improved by The Ministry of Construction and Transportation.

In modern society, it is necessary to develop sustainable housing to protect environment. There should be a study on long life housing that satisfies living condition which residents require. Long life housing research is already activating in many developed countries. Although activation of long life housing is urgent, domestically, immaturity of technology development and law and system are barrier to progression of long life housing. Increase of early construction expenses is also problematic in activation of long life housing. The purpose of this research is to clarify a necessity of long life housing, to provide high quality of sustainable residence and to protect environment. This research also suggests a need of change from previous housing to long life housing. Moreover, it will look at related law and system of domestic long life housing and compare it to international law and system. From this comparison, it will point out a need of improvement and suggest appropriate long life housing system.

Hydraulic hose assemblies deliver a fluid power in various oil pressure equipments such as construction machinery, automobile, aircraft, industrial machinery, machine tools, and machinery for ships, or they are used as pipes in oil pressure circuit. However, as the traditional measure for estimating life under the influence of various external factors incurs hardship in terms of time and expenses, it is essential to take accelerated life test by choosing the factor that suits the usage condition of the test object. The objective of the this study is to propose a acceleration model that takes both temperature and pressure without flexing condition into consideration. The life that is calculated by the equation for evaluating life and the test data show similar slopes as a result of comparing and analyzing the equation for evaluating life that is obtained in this research and the test data, which illustrates that they estimate life similarly, and the proposed equation is proved to be an accelerated life equation that presents the test results.

This study is to analyze trends of back injuries reported for medical expense compensation in a territorial jurisdiction of Pohang regional office of Ministry of Labor. Back unjuries claimed in the Plhang region accounted for approximately 15% of all industrial accident and 0.96 billion won were spent to compensate for medical expenses in 1994. A majority of back injuries occurred in manufacturing, construction, and transportation, and, 98% of all back injuries during 1992-1994 were strain/sprain, herniated inter-vertebral dise(HIVD), and fracture. To achieve and effective back injury prevention, supplenentary reporting form should be provided to include the information about job description (e.g., weight of an object, task duration and working posture), employee's medical and work history, and working conditions.
