Overlay routing has emerged as a promising approach to improve reliability and efficiency of the Internet. The key to overlay routing is the placement and maintenance of the overlay infrastructure, especially, the selection and placement of key relay nodes. Spurred by the observation that a few relay nodes with high betweenness centrality can provide more optimal routes for a large number of node pairs, we propose a resilient routing overlay network construction method by introducing Super-Relay nodes. In detail, we present the K-Minimum Spanning Tree with Super-Relay nodes algorithm (SR-KMST), in which we focus on the selection and connection of Super-Relay nodes to optimize the routing quality in a resilient and scalable manner. For the simultaneous path failures between the default physical path and the overlay backup path, we also address the selection of recovery path. The objective is to select a proper one-hop recovery path with minimum cost in path probing and measurement. Simulations based on a real ISP network and a synthetic Internet topology show that our approach can provide high-quality overlay routing service, while achieving good robustness.

In this research, I conducted a semantic network analysis centering on media articles on purchasing, revitalizing, and utilizing the former Busan branch of Hansung Bank, a modern architectural heritage. We sought the most efficient analysis elements for the analysis of the social arguments about preservation and utilization embedded in media articles. For this reason, Degree Centrality measures how many connections the word described in the media article has, and Betweenness Centrality measures the influence that controls the flow of information through correlation I examined. In addition, keyword that express the theme well examined the aggregation structure in each sub-network. In this research, in theoretical terms, it makes sense in that the social discussion embedded in the article of the mass media is grasped empirically through semantic network analysis of words. Methodological aspect is best when it includes nouns and adjectives and the distance between words is more than four words in the analysis of the cohesive structure of the semantic network to determine whether the influence of social discussions is best assessed through the connection between words to media articles.

This essay "Twain's Contestation of Emersonian Transcendental Manhood in Huckleberry Finn" explores how Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884) manifests his postwar contestation of Ralph Waldo Emerson's transcendental manhood that endorses the dogmatic, egocentric, and decorporealized position of the Cartesian subject, who believes his being's unity, elevation, and centrality through his fantasy of possessing direct access to divine truth. The connection between Emerson and Twain is based not on Emerson's influence on Twain but on their common interest in American landscape as a site for the redefinition of manhood and masculinity. I examine different types of manhood in their association with nature in Huckleberry Finn by comparing them with the two fundamental concepts of Emerson's philosophy: "a true man" in "Self-Reliance" (1841) and transparent eyeball vision in Nature (1836). Twain's use of Huck's ambivalent position-his centrality as a protagonist in the novel in spite of his marginality in society-renegotiates Emerson's valorization of nonconformity, wholeness, and nonchalance as the characteristics of both boyhood and "a true man," Emerson's term for the ideal individual in "Self-Reliance." I also read Twain's satire of two different types of masculine characters-Bob and the Child of Calamity, boatmen of the Southern frontier, and Colonel Grangerford, patriarch of a Southern aristocratic family-as Twain's denouncement of the antebellum desire for transcendental vision, which Emerson crystalizes into his notion of transparent eyeball in Nature.

국내의 공동주택은 1980년대 후반에 시행된 주택공급정책으로 급속히 증가하였으나, 물량적 보급에만 치중하고 품질관리측면에서는 상대적으로 소홀히 하여 다양하고 많은 하자가 발생하게 되었다. 그리고 다양하고 많은 하자 발생에 따른 분쟁이 점점 부각되고 있으며, 다양한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 공동주택 하자 관련 연구들이 지속적으로 수행되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 키워드 네트워크 분석 방법론을 활용하여 오랜 기간 축적된 공동주택 하자 관련 연구 분야의 주요 키워드 및 트렌드를 분석하여 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구 분석 방법으로는 한국교육학술정보원 포털을 활용하여 학술지 논문을 수집하고, 수집된 학술논문의 필터링 및 키워드 정제과정을 거쳐 분석자료를 구축하였다. 그리고 키워드 네트워크 관계에 대한 시각화 모델링, 연결정도 중심성 분석, 매개 중심성 분석을 실시하였다. 연결정도 및 매개 중심성 분석 결과, 담보, 논쟁, 수리, 사례, 책임, 결로, 비용, 제도, 기준, 감정이 공동주택 하자 분야에 특징적으로 나타나는 주요 키워드로 분석되었다.

본 연구는 녹색기술 분야의 지식지도를 구축하고 국내외 녹색기술 정보를 시계열로 비교 분석하여 녹색기술에 대한 연구동향을 파악하고 향후 녹색기술 분야에서 활발하게 연구될 영역을 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국과학기술정보연구원에서 운영 중인 녹색기술정보포털 (www.gtnet.go.kr)에서 제공하고 있는 녹색기술 정보의 키워드를 대상으로 네트워크 분석을 수행하였다. 네트워크 분석은 키워드를 이용하여 수행하였으며, 이를 시기별로 나누어 연구주제의 변화를 확인하였다. 그 결과 전체 영문 키워드 중 상위 100대 키워드에 대한 네트워크 분석 결과 주로 태양광 에너지, 바이오매스 등 재생에너지 관련 분야의 중심성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 년도별 주요 키워드에 대한 추세를 살펴보았을 때, Solar Cell, Nanotechnology, Smart Grid, Fuel Cell 등의 중심성이 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타나, 재생 에너지의 생성 및 활용 분야에 대한 연구개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

그래프 시각화 이론에 근간을 둔 네트워크 토폴로지 시각화는 복잡한 네트워크의 전체 구조와 노드간의 상호작용을 보다 이해하기 쉽게 만든다. 네트워크 토폴로지를 시각화하는 도구는 과거부터 많이 개발되었지만, 일정 수준의 기능을 갖춘 도구들은 도구마다 고유한 네트워크 구성 정보(노드의 식별자, 종류, 속성, 연결된 노드 등)를 입력으로 요구하기 때문에 범용적으로 사용하기 어렵다. 반면에 최소한의 네트워크 구성 정보인 노드간의 연결만을 사용하는 도구들은 네트워크의 실제 연결 형태를 표시하는 기능이 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크 노드간의 연결 정보만을 이용하여 토폴로지를 시각화하는 효율적인 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 네트워크에서 노드의 영향력을 나타내는 중심성 지수를 활용하여 중심노드를 찾고, 자식노드의 가중치를 이용하여 전체 노드들의 표시 영역을 동적 분할한 후 3D 공간 상에 노드들을 배치함으로써 토폴로지를 시각화한다. 매우 간단한 방법이지만 노드간의 연결 정보만으로 실제 네트워크 연결 형태를 시각화할 수 있다.

세계적으로 해양산업은 크루즈산업에 많은 관심과 연구가 대폭적으로 이루어지고 있고 우리나라도 미래의 잠재력 있는 국가동력산업의 하나로 인식하고는 있으나 크루즈산업의 연구동향 분석 연구는 국내외에 활발히 이루어지고 있지 않다. 따라서 우선 세계 크루즈산업을 연구하고 이해하기 위해서는 최근에 다양한 산업에 대한 연구동향을 분석한 방법을 활용하여 크루즈산업에도 적용할 필요가 있다. 본 논문의 목적은 외국 유명저널에 발표된 크루즈산업과 관련된 학술논문에서 제시하고 있는 키워드와 논문을 매개로 한 키워드 네트워크를 구축하여 복잡계의 네트워크 분석에서 사용하는 연결 중심성과 매개 중심성 분석방법으로 시대별로 나누어 시각화하여 살펴봄으로써 세계 크루즈산업의 연구동향을 심층적으로 관찰하여 논의하는 것이다. 본 연구에서 제시된 키워드 빈도는 Zipf의 법칙을 따르고 노드의 연결정도는 멱함수 분포를 보여주고 있어 언어네트워크에서 분석하는 키워드 네트워크와 동일함을 관찰한다. 연구방법론으로는 키워드 네트워크 분석을 위하여 사회연결망 프로그램인 넷마이너 4.0을 사용하여 여러 가지 중심성 측정방법 중 키워드 상위 20개의 빈도순위를 비교하여 빈도순위와 가장 가까운 중심성 측정방법을 선택하여 크루즈산업의 연구동향을 분석한다. 특히 크루즈산업의 연구동향이 연도 기간별로 어떠한 변화를 가져왔는지를 살펴보기 위해 2000년 이전과 2000년 이후로 크게 대별하여 나누고 2000년 이후에는 5년 주기로 각 기간별 공통적으로 나타나는 연결 중심성이 높은 최상위의 키워드인 cruise와 tourism 노드를 중심으로 매개 중심성이 높은 것들의 키워드 네트워크를 시각화하여 논의한다. 연구결과에서 흥미롭게도 2010-2014의 기간에 새로운 노드로 China가 등장하여 최상위의 키워드들을 연결하고 있는 것은 최근 급성장하고 있는 중국의 크루즈산업의 발전 양상을 보여준다. 그러므로 본 연구에서 사용하는 키워드 네트워크 분석은 각 연도 기간별 네트워크의 다른 종류의 숫자와 크고 작은 중심축 군집 네트워크의 숫자의 증감뿐 아니라 중심축 군집 네트워크의 중심에 있는 키워드 간의 연결 분석을 용이하게 해주어 기간별 연구동향을 파악하는데 유용한 방법임을 확인할 수 있었다.

최근 온라인 소셜 네트워크 서비스(SNS)의 사용자가 크게 늘어나고 있으며 다양한 분야에서 SNS의 사용자 관계 구조 및 메시지를 분석하기 위한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 소셜 네트워크 분석 방법들은 노드 사이의 최단 거리를 기초로 하고 있으므로 계산 시간이 오래 걸린다. 이는 점차 대형화 되어가는 SNS의 데이터를 여러 분야에서 활용하는데 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 SNS의 사용자 그래프에서 사용자간 최단거리를 빠르게 찾기 위한 휴리스틱 기반의 최단 경로 탐색 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 1) 트리로 표현된 소셜 네트워크에서 시작 노드와 목표 노드를 설정한다. 그리고 2) 만약 목표 노드가 경사 트리의 단말에 있다면 경사 트리가 시작하는 노드를 임시 골 노드로 설정한다. 마지막으로 3) 연결의 차수를 평가값으로 하는 휴리스틱 기반 최단거리 탐색을 수행한다. 이렇게 최단거리를 탐색한 후 매개 중심성 분석(Betweenness Centrality) 및 근접 중심성(Closeness Centrality)를 계산한다. 제안하는 방법을 사용하면 소셜 네트워크 분석에서 가장 많은 시간이 필요한 최단거리 탐색을 빠르게 수행할 수 있으므로 소셜 네트워크 분석의 효율성을 기대할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법을 검증하기 위하여 약 16만 명으로 구성된 SNS에서의 실제 데이터를 이용하여 매개 중심성 분석과 근접 중심성 분석을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 제안하는 방법은 전통적 방식에 비하여 매개 중심성, 근접 중심성의 계산 시간이 각각 6.8배, 1.8배 더 빠른 결과를 보였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 소셜 네트워크 분석의 시간을 향상시켜 여러 분야에서 사회 현상 및 동향을 분석하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.

This study would understand the overall perception of our society about public libraries, analyzing the texts related to public libraries, utilizing the semantic connection network & sentiment analysis. For this purpose, this study collected data from the last five years with keywords, 'Library' and 'Lifelong Learning Center' from January 1, 2016 through November 30, 2020 through the blogs and cafés of major domestic portal sites. With the collected data, text mining, centrality of keywords, network structure, structural equipotentiality, and sensitivity analyses were conducted. As a result of the analysis, First, 'reading' and 'book' were identified as representative keywords that form the social perception of public libraries. Second, it turned out that there were keywords related to the use of the library and the untact service due to the recent spread of COVID-19. Third, in seeking a plan for the development of public libraries through the keywords drawn to have positive meanings, it is necessary to create continuous services that can form a new image of the library, breaking away from the existing fixed role and image of the library and increase the convenience of use. Fourth, facilities and facilities for library services were recognized from a neutral point of view. Fifth, the spread of infectious diseases, social distancing, and temporary closure and closure of libraries are negatively related to public libraries, and awareness of librarians has been identified as negative keywords.

Lately, neo-Chinese style furniture has been frequently noticed by product design professionals for the big part it played in promoting traditional Chinese culture. This article is an attempt to use big data semantic analysis method to provide effective design research method for neo-Chinese furniture design. By using big data mining program TEXTOM for big data collection and analysis, the data obtained from typical websites in a set time period will be sorted and analyzed. On the basis of "neo-Chinese furniture" samples, key data will be compared, classification analysis of overall data, and horizontal analysis of typical data will be performed by the methods of word frequency analysis, connection centrality analysis, and TF-IDF analysis. And we tried to summarize according to the related views and theories of the design. The research results show that the results of data analysis are close to the relevant definitions of design. The core high-frequency vocabulary obtained under data analysis, such as popular, furniture, modern, etc., can provide a reasonable and effective focus of attention for the designs. The result obtained through the systematic sorting and summary of the data can be a reliable guidance in the direction of our design. This research attempted to introduce related big data mining semantic analysis methods into the product design industry, to supply scientific and objective data and channels for studies on design, and to provide a case on the practical application of big data analysis in the industry.
