XML/EDI provides a way to connect legacy systems(ERPs) : When a XML/EDI system sends a message, the message contents come from the legacy system. Likewise, when a ERP receiving a message, important parts are stored in the legacy system. RosettaNet has become a strong tool to connect ERPs as RosettaNet has become a promising standard for XML/EDI. In this paper, a prototype using PIP 3A4(Order Management) of the RosettaNet is implemented to show how the standard could be used for the connection of ERPs.

This study was a phenomenological approach to the substance and meaning of large-group discussion activities in the kindergarten. Results of this study showed phenomena of the management of large-group discussion to be : 1) interchange in the natural fields of knowledge, 2) the fields of shared laughter and humor, 3) the exchange of glances individually between a teacher and children as well as children to children, 4) a bridge to connect one activity to another, 5) the guarantee of freedom in the limited space while keeping order, 6) the making of a way to connect individual children's inner self with the world, 7) conflicts between standardized themes and generated themes.

In storm sewer networks a lot of manholes are installed to maintain and connect a sewer of urban area. There are some shapes of manhole such as circular type, square type, and so on. Square shape manholes are installed to connect the large diameter drainage pipes in general and have lager head losses than circular one. Consequently, it is important to analyze the head losses in square manhole because the head losses in square manhole are much bigger than the friction losses in pipes. Hydraulic experimental apparatus which can be changed the inside shape in square manhole was installed for this study. The experimental discharge was $16{\ell}/sec$. The head loss coefficients in the manhole were calculated by the experimental results. The range of head loss coefficients in the general square manhole were from 0.33 to 0.48 and the range of head loss coefficients in the square manhole changed inside shape were from 0.23 to 0.28.

In the ubiquitous computing environments. people usually carry multiple information technology devices with them. Personal device network (PDN) refers to the way how people connect multiple IT devices for their personal as well as professional purposes. Even though it has been Quite popular to construct the PDN in ubiquitous computing context, not much research has been conducted on how people actually connected multiple devices and what influences their methods of connection. In this paper we conducted a content analysis on community bulletin boards of IT devices and a contextual inquiry with expert users of PDN for investigating the configurations with which users connect multiple IT devices. Base on the results of two related studies, we identified three major types of PDN configurations, and key factors that influence the configurations of PDN. We conclude this research with guidelines to design a set of devices for each of the three configuration types.

There are multiple controllers (PLC. LOOP Controller ) which are operating in product line and fabrication line. In those lines, it is necessary to connect various multilple controllers with integrity and coordination. The ways to connect those devices are specified by ISO network standard. In this paper, real time network is designed and implemented for factory automation at lowest possible cost that meets the small and middle size MINI-MAP specifications. Network performance is evaluated by simulation method on data link layer implemented interfacing modules has efficiency in throughput by reducing processing time. The system designed in this paper can be also applied to the field of distributed systems for real time processing.

As the increasing the demand on information service, high-capacity and high-speed telecommunication networks are required. For the networks, very intelligent telecommunication equipments such as DCS(Digital Cross-connect System) will be employed for the fast service on the various types of information including voice, data and image. This paper considers the transmission networks composed of DCSs and optical fibers as nodes and links of the networks, respectively. For the networks, some types of restoration algorithms are compared their characteristics for their potential applications. And a distributed control algorithm is described as an empirical example which is implemented on the BDCS(Broadband Digital Cross-connect System), where the BDCS is a type of DCS developed in Korea. Finally, some remarks on the associated further researches are added.

The constructivism is an important stream of the recent trends of mathematics education. In order for students to construct their knowledge for themselves, above all, it should be a prerequisite that they participate in actively, Using games helps students to participate in learning mathematics actively. I think, up to now, mathematics teachers use games mainly for motivation and it does not connect to true learning mathematics through using games. So, the purposes of this study are developing the mathematical games connecting to mathematical contents closely, designing the teaching models to connect game activities to learning mathematics, and developing several teaching plans using games to mathematics class. In this study, I propose what conditions 'good' game should have, classify games as practice game, concept learning game, and strategy game, and develop 43 games from 1 to 6 grade. And I design the teaching models depending on the game types and develop the teaching plans.
