The protocol conformance testing is to check whether an implementation of a protocol conforms to its specification. And it is important to improve the interoperability of protocol and the efficiency of cost. In general, protocol is composed of the control flow representing observable behaviors and the data flow representing internally used variables. Until now, research for generation of test suite has been realized only consideration the control flow of protocol or separation control flow from data flow. Case of considering control flow, contents of test was simple and definite. Length of test was short. But it was of little application, and it didn't manage each kind errors in data flow. Therefore, we must generate test case that can manage control and data flow. So, anomaly of variable must be removed for efficient conformance testing. Therefore in this dissertation, we proposed algorithm which can remove anomaly of variable for efficient conformance testing. And it showed that anomaly of variable was got rid of applying this algorithm to real protocol.

OpenVG는 Khronos Group 에 의해 제정된 2D 벡터 그래픽스를 위한 하드웨어 가속 표준이다. OpenVG 적합성 테스트 도구(conformance test suite)는 다양한 기관에서 구현된 OpenVG 엔진이 OpenVG 표준에서 정의한 요구사항들을 만족하는가를 측정하는 도구이다. 적합성 테스트의 통과 여부는 시장에서 해당 제품의 기술적 우위성 및 안정성을 보장하는 지표가 되기에 적합성 테스트 개발 과정에서 형평성 및 객관성을 확보하는 것은 대단히 중요한 일이다. 본 논문에서는 OpenVG Conformance Test Suite의 설계 및 구현 과정을 소개함으로써 표준의 제정과 더불어 꼭 필요한 과정인 적합성 테스트 도구 개발 시에 형평성과 객관성을 유지하기 위한 바람직한 개발 모델을 제시한다. 이를 통해 향후 타 표준의 적합성 테스트 개발 시에 참고가 되고자 한다.

차량전장용 소프트웨어에 대한 합리적인 설계 및 테스트가 중요해졌다. 차량전장용 소프트웨어의 신뢰성을 검증하기 위해 AUTOSAR Conformance Test 표준이 마련되었는데, AUTOSAR Conformance Test 표준에는 테스트 대상, 테스트 커버리지, 테스트 요구조건 & 케이스 정의 및 테스트 아키텍처 환경에 대한 정의방법을 기술하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 차량전장용 소프트웨어의 안정성을 테스트하기 위해 소프트웨어가 저장되는 EEPROM 메모리에 대한 시뮬레이션 테스트를 수행하였으며, AUTOSAR 표준에 맞게 제작된 EEPROM Abstraction 시뮬레이션 모듈을 이용하였다. 또한 EEPROM Abstraction 시뮬레이션 모듈 위에서 AUTOSAR Conformance Test 표준에 정의된 적합성 테스트를 수행하기 위한 테스트 어댑터와 타겟 어댑터의 기능을 기술하고, EEPROM Abstraction 시뮬레이션 모듈에서 리얼타임 요소를 만족하기 위해 필요한 개선 사항을 제안하고자 한다.

Nowadays, people perform their tasks anywhere anytime using their mobile devices. For this reason, data synchronization (DS) between mobile devices and a central server has become one of the most essential technologies in mobile environments. Currently, several mobile DS protocols are proposed and used. However, the existing DS protocols cannot guarantee interoperability between them. To solve the problem, an embedded DS gateway has been developed in our previous study. The gateway runs on a Windows Mobile-based emulator. It converts data on a mobile device into common data specified by OMA DS standard protocol and vice versa. The embedded gateway has been built to support the OMA DS standard protocol. In order to verify that the embedded gateway conforms to the OMA DS standard protocol, two kinds of OMA conformance tests have to be conducted - interoperability test with an OMA DS-based server and conformance test with SCTS (SyncML Conformance Test Suit). In this paper, some parts of the gateway previously built are modified and the modified gateway is installed on a Windows Mobile-based smart phone. And the interoperability test and the conformance test with the SCTS are conducted. The results of the tests show that the embedded DS gateway operates properly on the Windows Mobile-based smart phone and that the gateway passes the tests, verifying its conformity to the OMA DS standard protocol. In addition, DS performance tests show that DS delay times between a real smart phone and a DS server increase gently as the number of DS data increases. In other words, the embedded DS gateway built in this paper can be used for a real smart phone at a reasonable performance cost.

Ship STEP is the international standard for the exchange of ship modeling data between heterogeneous systems. It is expected that STEP AP218 can be used for seamless data exchange between various CAD/CAM/CAE systems used in the shipbuilding design process. Although the conformance assessment for standards would maximize the performance and confidence about data exchanges, most research has been directed toward interoperability testing. ISO SC4/TC184 only provides the method for conformance testing, and it can be used with test cases on application protocols. Even though standards have been defined for conformance assessment and testing, there is no organization or association. CAD vendors have focused on interoperability testing for evaluation of the performance of their systems. In this paper, the conformance testing criteria for AP218 have been developed with abstract test cases of ship structures. The requested STEP translator was also reviewed with a developed item pool of testing criteria. The criteria methodology would be a guideline for the development of translators and interfaces. The item pool method of testing criteria for conformance assessment would increase performance and efficiency of data translators for Ship STEP and other standards.

본고는 현재 수행중에 있는 ISDN 프로토콜 연구 과제에 속하는 프로토콜 검증장치구현과 관련하여 X. 25 Product의 level 2에 대해 conformance test를 실시하는데 사용된 테스트 방법, 테스트 시스팀 구성, 테스트 시나리오 등의 테스트 환경과 실제 테스트를 실시한 결과 등을 중심으로 기술하였다.

In this paper, the technology of the conformance test for Broadcast Web Site Service (BWS) which is one of the data services of the T-DMB (Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) is proposed. First, the standard of the BWS Service is introduced and then the method of the conformance test of BWS bitstream and BWS receiver module is provided. A BWS bitstream analyzer is implemented for use in verifying the transmitted BWS bitstreams. To provide a means for the receiver manufactures to verify their own BWS receiver modules, a receiver test suite is developed including BWS test bitstreams and a BWS reference receiver module. The BWS bitstream analyzer includes the analysis function for the conformance test of MOT protocol, HTML, PNG, MNG, JPEG, and Ecma Script. Also, it was actually used for verifying the BWS test bitstreams. In the course of developing a HWS receiver module, 4he BWS receiver module under test can be verified by comparing the results of the BWS reference receiver module with those of the receiver module under test. when the same BWS test bitstreams are fed into the two receiver modules.

Middleware for mobile devices, embedded middleware, is used for mobile devices, cellular phone and DMB related services. It is essential for middleware providers to provide high quality middleware in conformity with its standard and interoperability on hardware platforms. The standard conformance and interoperability of embedded middleware are the key factors to make service providers succeed in their business. The quality of embedded middleware could be secured when Tests for the standard conformance and interoperability of embedded middleware are performed with well established test framework. In this paper, we describe middleware testing methodology of standard conformance, interoperability and middleware test framework for mobile devices.

본 논문은 BioAPI(Biometric Application Programming Interface) v2.0 기반의 BSP(Biometric Service Provider) 표준 적합성 시험 도구의 설계 및 구현을 목적으로 한다. 제안한 BioAPI 적합성 시험 도구는 프레임워크(Framework) 없이 독립적으로 BSP를 시험할 수 있으며, 향후 XML 형태의 Test Assertion을 이용할 수 있도록 테스트 스케줄링 툴을 구현하였다. 또한 적합성시험 도구를 검증하기 위해 상용 지문 인식 검증(verification) 및 식별(identification) BSP를 이용하여 실험을 수행하였다. 이에 따라 BioAPI v2.0을 기반으로 한 BSP들이 요구사항에 적합하게 개발되었는지를 판단 할 수 있었다.

ebXML 제품 분야에서 적합성 및 상호연동성 테스트에 관련된 이슈들은 많은 표준 개발자나 사용자들의 관심사항이다. 이 이슈들의 해결방안은 표준에서 명시된 기능들이 올바르게 수행되도록 하는 표준의 구현에 있으며, 이러한 적합성 테스팅은 기업 시스템간에 호환성을 유지하는데 많은 도움을 준다. 본 논문에서는 ebXML 기반의 CPP/CPA 및 레지스트리에 대한 적합성 여부를 판단할 수 있는 테스팅 도구 개발에 목적을 두고 있으며, 개발된 시스템은 ebXML Message Service(v2.0), ebXML Registry Service(v2.0)과 ebXML CPP/A(v2.0) 표준에 기반한 적합성 검증 도구이다.
