말리 내 정세분석을 통해 보는 사헬지대 테러집단 활동 양상과 시사점 (The Aspects and Prospects of Terrorist Group Activities in the Sahel Area through the Changes in the Situation in Mali)

  • 연구목적: 지난 10년간 말리 내전이 어떻게 진행되었는지 분석해봄으로써 사헬 지대 내 테러집단의 활동 양상을 예측해보고 시사점을 도출해보고자 한다. 연구방법:기존 사헬 지대와 테러 양상에 대한 연구와 더불어 프랑스어권 언론을 통해 진행 경과를 파악했다. 연구결과: 민족 갈등의 심화, 이슬람 극단주의의 확산 그리고 군사 쿠데타의 지속성 등 복합적인 요인으로 인해 말리는 내전이 지속되고 있음을 알수 있다. 결론: 프랑스의 철수와 러시아의 개입 등 국제사회의 영향력이 약화되고 있는 현 상황에서 말리 내전이 장기화될 수 있음을 시사한다.

대학병원과 종합병원 직원의 부서간 갈등수준 비교분석 (Comparison of level of interdepartmental conflict among employees' in the university hospitals and general hospitals)

  • The purpose of this study is to promote the efficiency of the management of the controls organization in the university hospitals and general hospitals by evaluating the factors underlying organizational conflict. The subject population included 351 hospital workers randomly selected from two general hospitals of less than 200 beds and two university hospitals over 500 beds in Seoul area. Data were collected through a survey questionnaire. To define related factors for the level of conflict among departments in each hospitals multivariate regression analysis was conducted. Independent factors were characteristics of subjects, conflicting factors between the departments. The results are as follows: 1. Those in high job position group demonstrated significantly higher level of conflict between departments. Those working in the general hospitals, who were older and had long-term tenure at current working hospital had higher level of conflict between the departments. 2. Concerning the involvement of conflicting factors and the level of conflict in the employees' there was statistically significant positive correlation between reliability and job-related and intradepartmental level of conflict in university hospitals. There was a significant positive correlation between interdepartmental conflicting factors of mutual dependence, difference in goal/orientation and interdepartmental level of conflict. 3. In the university hospitals, among the interdepartmental factors, mutual dependence and difference in goal/orientation had statistically significant influence and showed a positive relationship with interdepartmental level of conflict. In the general hospitals, job position was a significant factor which showed that those in high position such as section chief or above, compared to those in general position had higher level of conflict. Among the interdepartmental characteristics, factors of mutual dependence and goal/orientation had statistically significant influence and showed a positive relationship with interdepartmental level of conflict. In the general hospitals setting efforts to reduce conflict in areas among workers with high position, old age, and long tenure and those in medical care department should be made and prudent management and planning for improved manpower and increased budget or efficient allocation and clear definition of job description are necessary to adequately assess. In the university hospitals setting efforts to reexaminitation of the organizational structure and efficiency conveyance of information and efforts to resolve conflict among young workers with lower level of education is need. This study has its own merit in comparing empirically the conflict among hospital workers in the university hospitals and general hospitals. Future study are needed with respect to the relationship between interdepartmental level of conflict and the effectiveness of the hospital organization for improved resolution of conflict in the organization and hospital management.

한국의 정치세력 간 적대적 갈등의 경제학: 확장 (Economics of Antagonistic Conflict Between Political Forces in Korea: Expansion)

  • Purpose - Against the backdrop of the recent intense political conflict in Korea's political circles, it is to reveal from an economic point of view the hidden aspects behind the hostile conflict between the two political forces. Design/methodology/approach - This paper is not a normative study to find a solution to political conflict, but a positive study to reveal the mechanism of reciprocity that exists between the two parties of conflict in real politics. Therefore, the analysis is based on game theory methodology. Findings - It is shown that the ruling party should choose a level of preemptive response that is neither insufficient nor excessive if it aims to avoid radical anti-government struggles by opposition parties. We also find that even if the chances of success of the opposition's radical offensive struggle are low, the use of that strategy is not necessarily reduced. In addition, we have obtained comparative static results that do not deviate much from our intuition. What's interesting is that unlike our intuition that the choice of the method will be indifferent if the marginal effects of radical and normal methods of struggle are the same, the opposition party rather chooses the normal method of struggle more often. Research implications or Originality - In forming the analytical model, it reflected the support of the general public following the opposition's struggle against the ruling party in order to capture real politics well in the conflict between the two opposing parties.

의료기관의 조직문화가 조직갈등에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Organizational Culture on Organizational Conflict in Medical Institutions)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of medical institution employees of their organizational culture and conflicts, as well as the influence of organizational culture on organizational conflict, in an attempt to provide some information on the preparation of organizational conflict management methods for medical institutions. Methods: Structured questionnaires and basic hospital data were used to gather data from the employees of medical institutions. The collected data were analyzed, using SPSS 24.0. Results: First, workers whose length of employment was longer were less aware of the characteristics of their organizational culture, while employees who were older, whose length of employment was longer, and who were middle managers experienced greater organizational conflict. Second, in terms of conflicts among different kinds of occupations, conflicts with nurses were the most common. Third, there was a negative correlation between organizational culture and organizational conflict. Conclusions: As stronger awareness of the characteristics of organizational culture leads to less organizational conflict, the organizational culture of each medical institution should be created and strengthened.

국방시설 이전사업 적지 선정시 갈등방지에 관한 연구 (A Study on Conflict Prevention in the Site Selection of National Defense Facility Relocation Projects)

  • 본 연구는 전주항공대 이전 사업을 중심으로 국방시설 이전 과정에서 발생하는 갈등의 원인과 특성을 분석하고, 효과적인 갈등 관리 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 도시화로 인해 군사시설이 도심 속으로 편입되면서 이전의 필요성이 증가하였고, 이 과정에서 정부, 군, 지역 주민 간의 이해관계 충돌로 인한 갈등이 빈번히 발생하고 있다. 본 연구는 문헌 연구와 설문조사를 통해 갈등의 원인과 해결 방안에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 정보 제공과 의견 수렴의 부족, 소음과 재산가치 하락, 일방적인 의사결정 과정 등이 주요 갈등 요인으로 도출되었다. 참여적 의사결정 방식이 갈등 해결에 효과적임을 확인하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 제도적 개선 방안, 정보 공개 및 소통 강화, 종합적 보상 체계 마련, 갈등 관리 전문성 강화 등의 정책적 제언을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 국방시설 이전 사업에서 참여적 의사결정의 중요성을 실증적으로 확인하고, 갈등 관리를 위한 구체적인 정책 방안을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

  • End-user electric power consumption trends shows various load curves dependant on industry, contract, season, day and time. Analysis of end-user electric power consumption trends has a key role to efficiently meet electricity demand. There are several factors of change in electricity demand such as the change of weather, international conflict, and industrial trends during summer. This paper has analyzed the analysis the end-user electric power consumption trends using the load curve during international conflict. We observed that international conflict decreased electric demand by $5.4\%$. This increase is not significant, and therefore we conclude that the international conflict has not greatly affected Korea's electricity demands. This paper provides useful information so as to mon: efficiently perform demand side management.

  • Family businesses play a significant role in the overall economy of all countries, and the importance and weight of family businesses are increasing in various fields. Many factors are essential for a family business to grow into a long-lived business, that is, a sustainable business, but the most important one is succession. TRUST Lab at Hanyang University studied the importance of factors influencing the succession of the family business from the standpoint of the successor. As a result, it was confirmed that mutual trust is the most crucial factor, and conflict can destroy that trust. Therefore, in this study, we research conflict as a central topic for successful succession, which is the most fundamental reason for family businesses. This study was conducted as a qualitative research case study. By setting criteria suitable for the purpose of the study, we conducted interviews with ten successors who either worked or planned to work in a family-related company. Through this study, conflict management of key players is the most important to achieve a continuous succession of family businesses.

  • This study investigates the effect of conflict resolution methods on the IS outsourcing performance. A survey of 207 IS oursourcing relationship of U.S. firms indicates that(1) constructive/proactive methods, such as joint problem solving, is positively related to the success of IS outsourcing relationships, and that (2) destructive/passive methods, such as persuasion, smoothing/avoiding, domination, and use of harsh words are negatively related to the success of IS outsourcing relationships. The findings suggest that the manner in which conflict is resolved can be productive or destructive for the IS outsourcing performance.

  • 본 논문은 예술양식으로서 영화가 지닌 문법들 중 서사가 배치되는 원리를 파악하고자 정량적 분석을 시도했다. 구체적으로는 영상에서 나타난 정보를 측정하여 서사를 추동하는 핵심 요인인 '갈등'을 정량적으로 분석했다. 본 논문은 서사를 이끄는 주인공과 그에 대항하는 상대주인공의 얼굴 면적을 단계별로 측정하고, 그것과 갈등 사이의 상관성을 분석했다. 얼굴 면적을 측정 대상으로 삼은 이유는 그것이 영화에서 갈등을 연출할 때 누구를 어떤 방식으로 연출했는지를 보여주는 지표이기 때문이다. 영화 속 갈등의 정량화는 서사 단계, 또는 특정한 갈등 구간을 객관적 수치에 근거하여 색인화하는 데에 적용될 수 있다. 또한 갈등을 기준 삼아 그래프 등을 통한 서사 시각화가 가능해지며, 영화 서사 연구에 전산적 비평을 도입하여 방법론의 다양화를 도모할 수 있다는 점에서 유의미하다.

중소기업 직장 여성의 갈등경험에 대한 현상학적 연구 (A Phenomenological Study on Conflicts Experience by Women: Focused on the Case of Women in Small and Medium Size Enterprises)

  • 직장 생활을 하는 여성들이 점점 늘어나고 있다. 그러나 직장 여성들에 대한 담론은 부족한 편이며, 성과 중심이나 불평등과 같은 편중된 시각이 대부분이다. 여성들의 갈등 경험은 직장 내에서 발생할 수 있는 상호 작용의 다양한 측면을 내포하고 있기 때문에 여성들이 처해있는 직장 생활의 현실을 여실히 보여줄 수 있는 좋은 사례이다. 또한 이 연구는 갈등 연구에 적합한 연구 방법의 하나로 현상학적 연구를 제안하고 있다. 기존의 커뮤니케이션을 중심으로 한 갈등 연구들이 갈등대처 유형과 같은 변인을 밝히는데 치중하였다는 한계를 가지기 때문이다. 갈등은 무엇보다 맥락에 상당 부분 의존하며, 역동적인 상호 작용 속에서 이뤄지기 때문에 구체적이며 총체적인 해석이 무엇보다 필요하다. 이러한 관점에서, 본 논문에서는 여성들이 직장 내에서 겪고 있는 갈등 경험을 현상학적 연구방법으로 연구하였다. 그 결과, 다음의 여덟 가지 주제를 확인할 수 있었다. 첫 번째 주제는 '불합리한 상황', 두 번째 주제는 '위계적 질서'이다. 세 번째 주제는 '갈등에 대한 부정적인 생각'이며, 네 번째 주제는 '여자와 남자의 차이 인식', 다섯 번째 주제는 '관계의 문제를 중시함'으로 나타났다. 여섯 번째 주제는 '소극적 대처 행동'이며, 일곱 번째 주제는 '공격적인 대응', 마지막 여덟 번째 주제는 '적극적으로 갈등에 대처'였다. 아울러 이 같은 결과가 갖는 함의와 향후 연구를 위한 제언이 제시되었다.
