This article presents the flexural behaviour of reinforced fly ash (FA)-based geopolymer concrete (GPC) beams with partial replacement of FA for about 10% by weight with paper sludge ash (PSA). The beams were made of M35 grade concrete and cured under three curing conditions for comparison viz., ambient curing, external exposure curing, and oven curing at $60^{\circ}C$. The beams were experimentally tested at the 28th day of casting after curing by conducting two-point loading flexural test. Performance aspects such as load carrying capacity, first crack load, load-deflection and moment-curvature behaviours of both types of beams were experimentally studied and their results were compared under different curing conditions. To verify the response of reinforced GPC beams numerically, an ANSYS 13.0 finite element program was also used. The result shows that there is a good agreement between computer model failure behaviour with the experimental failure behaviour.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the situation and feature of construction technology by analysis properties and the mixture proportion of a reinforced concrete building from the modern domestic and to leave technological records for the optimal maintenance of the cultural heritage. The study says, the case of the 1:3:6 mix concrete has been standard regardless of the kind of structures after the concrete has being used in earnest, However, The strength range is big from Water-Cement ratio difference according to the concrete casting site.

The objective of this study is to find out the effect of Horizontal vibration on the compressive strength for 7 days and 28 days cured concrete specimens according to the kind of fine aggregates and the variation of vibration velocities, and times began to vibrate. Three kinds of fine aggregate(river sand, sea sand, crush sand), three types of vibration velocities(0.25, 0.5 0.1kine(cm/sec)), and four steps of times(0, 3, 6, 9 hours after concrete casting) were chosen as the experimental parameters in this study, the vibrations are applied for 30 minutes in each case. From this study, the variation with type of fine aggregate doesn't show tendency and the compressive strength decreases with increasing vibration velocity. When the vibration force time is more than 6 hour, It shows that compressive strength decreases under the condition of vibration velocity which the value is 0.5 kine and 1 kine, respectively.

This paper presents the experimental study on crack control of core-wall placed with 700kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ Ultra high strength concrete. The thermal sensors were installed into the core-walls prior to the concrete casting to measure the heat of hydration and atmospheric temperature whose difference might cause the initial crack. Several curing schemes were taken for each basement floor 8 thru 6 to examine the influence of curing method on the crack width, total crack length and the number of crack occurred. This paper demonstrates that the proper curing scheme have a great favorable effect on the initial crack control on the structural elements with noticiable reduction in crack width.

Increases in strength and ductilities of steel fiber reinforced concrete(SFRC) under direct tension and compression result in improvements of flexural behavior of reinforced steel fibrous concrete beam(RSFCB) Use of hooked steel fibers in stead of round steel fibers enhances futher the structural porperties of a beam due to their greater mechanical bond resistance compared to that of round steel fibers. Flexural strength, initial stiffness ductility and failure mechani는 of RSFCB are dependent upon material and structural parameters and among which are the volume fraction of fibers, reinforcement ratio, and casting depth of SFRC in a beam section. The flexural behavior of RSFCB's are examined experimentally in this study and some conclusions are made regarding those effects of main material and structural parameters on the overall behavior of RSFCB.

An experimental study is conducted to charaterize the mechanical properties of a fiber-reinforced, lightweight concrete (FRLAC) that is produced without an autoclave process. The FRLAC enhances the strength of lightweight cellular concrete by adding polypropylene fibers. A series of compressive strength tests on cylindrical specimens are carried out to characterize the compressive strength and the modulus of elasticity of the FRLAC. Specifically, various mixing rates of a foam agent are applied in casting of the specimens to investigate the influence of the mixing rate of the foam agent on the performance of the FRLAC and to determine the optimal mixing rate of the foam agent.

Self-consolidating concrete (SCC) is a recently developed innovative construction material. SCC fills in a formwork without any vibrating consolidation, which allows us to eventually achieve robust casting. However, high formwork lateral pressure exerted by SCC is a critical issue regarding its application as cast-in-place concrete. In order to control the risk caused by high formwork pressure, a comprehensive prediction model for the pressure was previously proposed, investigated, and validated with various SCC mixtures. The model was originally designed to simulate the intrinsic pressure response of SCC mixtures while excluding other extrinsic influencing factors such as friction and flexibility of the formwork. The model was then extended to consider extrinsic factors such as friction between SCC mixtures and formwork. In addition, other interesting topics for peak formwork pressure and mineral admixture effects were summarized in the paper.

This paper presents the material properties and production of 1400kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$
ultra high-strength concrete in consideration of the history of hydration temperature for the practical utilization. A series of laboratory tests were conducted to optimize the mix proportion and then the full-scall mock up tests were performed to investigate the practicability. The thermal sensors were installed prior to concrete casting into the walls and columns, to measure the hydration temperature during the hardening process, which is inevitable to select the most appropriate curing scheme.

This study was performed to examine the effect of time dependent properties on RC columns in subway structures subjected to high filled soil layer. By using Program TCC which is a modified version of CPF for the present purpose, a typical column in subway structure was analyzed. Four different model equations for predicted time dependent concrete properties(ACI, CEB-FIP, Bazant & Panula and Korea Bridge Specification) was employed, and the results were compared. It was found that a relevant creep coefficient is recommended to be 1.0 for designing columns in subway structure, and the sol filling work would be performed at least 3 months later after the concrete casting in order to ensure durability by reducing the negative effect of concrete time dependent properties.
FRP stay-in-place (SIP) formworks are designed as a support for casting concrete and as a tension reinforcement when concrete is cured. Bond development between SIP formwork and concrete is critical for FRP tension element to be effective. This paper reports the bond strength between FRP formwork and concrete for different interfacial treatments. A novel experimental setup is prepared for observing the bond behaviour. Three different adhesives with varying workability have been investigated. Along with the load-deformation characteristics, bond slip and strains in the formwork have been measured. A finite element numerical simulation was conducted for the experiments to understand the underlying mechanism. The results show that the adhesive bonding has the best bond strength.
