클라우드 기지국 시스템에서 효율적 무선 접속을 위한 이른 스펙트럼 감지 기법 (An Early Spectrum Sensing for Efficient Radio Access in Cloud-Conceptual Base Station Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 무선 접속 기술(Radio Access Technology : RAT)들이 공존하는 클라우드 기지국 시스템에서의 효율적인 무선 접속 방법으로 무선인지기술(Cognitive radio)을 활용한 이른 스펙트럼 감지(Early Spectrum Sensing : ESS) 기법을 제안한다. 다중 모드 단말은 무선 접속 시도에 앞서 다중 무선 접속 시스템의 전체 주파수 대역을 대상으로 스펙트럼 감지를 수행하여 그 결과 스펙트럼 활용도가 가장 낮은, 즉 가용 스펙트럼이 가장 많을 것으로 예상되는 시스템을 선택하여 무선 접속을 시도함으로써 시스템 접속 성공 확률을 높일 수 있다. 제안 기법의 성능 분석을 위해 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 수행 했으며 그 과정에서 최대한 다양한 무선 접속 시스템이 혼재하는 상황을 고려하고자 했다. 우선, 서킷과 패킷 시스템으로 구별한 후, 다시 패킷 시스템을 반송파 결합(Carrier Aggregation : CA) 가능 여부에 따라 다시 구별했으며, 단말기의 경우, 서킷 전용, 패킷 전용, 다중 모드로 구별함과 동시에 CA 능력에 따라서 역시 구별하였다. 또한, 패킷 트래픽의 경우, 실시간 트래픽과 3단계의 패킷 지연 허용 정도를 갖는 비실시간 트래픽으로 구분하였다. 이러한 다양한 무선 접속 환경이 고려된 클라우드 기지국 시스템에서 호 발생에서 호의 서비스 품질(Quality of Service : QoS)이 고려된 자원 할당까지의 일련의 과정을 시뮬레이션에 반영하여 시스템 접속 실패 확률, 평균 시스템 접속 시간, 시스템 균형 인수, 패킷 손실 확률 측면에서 제안 방식의 성능을 분석하였다.

공공 휴양림과 민간 휴양림의 유양자원의 차이 (Differences in Resources of Natural Recreation Forest Developed by Public and Private Body)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate in resources of natural recreation forest(RNRF) developed both publicly and privately in order to answer the research question: what are the differences in RNRF development between public and private developers. After reviewing the literature, the developer´s decision-making and motivation of investment, and the planning process of natural recreation forest, We constructed the conceptual framework and have formulated the hypothesis of this research. We had obtained data through a questionnaire, which surveyed of 625 visitors at 9 of the 72 natural recreation forests in Korea in 1999, We have analyzed the data using the mean difference test and logistic regression method. We found that 1) the overall quality of resource elements in RNRF has been development excellent except for the sociocultural element of recreational resources, and public recreation forest have been of higher quality than that fo private development, 20 in bivariate analysis, all the variables on quality of RNRF by public developers have turned out to be better than those of private ones, 3) in multivariate analysis, such variable as valley and water, forest and wildness area, wild life, and landscape have been statistically significant at one percent level, 4) the higher the value of valley and water, the higher the probability of public development, while the higher the value of other variables excluding water and valley, the more likelihood the recreational forest is developed by a private developer, and 5) forest and wildness area has been turned out to be the most important independent variable in contributing to the value of dependent variable. The research results suggest that 1) the differences in the quality of resource elements in RNRF developed by public and private body be considered in the planning and design process in order to develop diverse activities to make use of the resource potential, and 2) considering the resource characteristics of private natural recreation forest and the motivation of private developers, private natural recreation forest will possibly be more dynamic and dynamic attractive areas. It is recommended that the difference in the degree of visitor´s satisfaction between public and private development be examined.

자연자원관리를 위한 핵심도구: 적응관리 (Adaptive Management: a key tool for natural resource management)

  • 적응관리는 불확실성이 존재하는 상황에서 자연자원을 관리하는 최적의 관리방법들 중의 하나이다. 여러 가지 한계에도 불구하고, 자연자원 관리에 대한 정책 및 계획수립에 있어 적응관리방법 활용의 필요성은 국제적으로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 우리나라의 자연자원 관리분야에서는 적응관리의 활용사례가 매우 드물다. 본 연구에서는 적응관리의 정의, 절차, 장애요인들과 적용시 고려할 점에 대한 고찰 및 적응관리방법에서 필수적인 요소인 생태모델에 대하여 리뷰하였다. 또한, 적응관리의 도입이 권장되는 바다숲, 연안습지 및 수산자원관리분야에 적응관리방법을 적용할 경우 고려해야 할 사항들에 대하여도 고찰하였다.

미국 소비자들의 소비자 신용 이용 분석: 고용불안정성 요인의 효과를 중심으로 (Consumer's Use of Credit as a Financing Medium : The Impact of Employment Instability)

  • This study attempted to examine the employment instability on consumer's use of credit as a financing medium. The purpose of this study was 1) to examine the effect of employment related factors on consumers' use of credit; 2) to compare the results between the two different economic situations. A conceptual framework was developed based on the permanent income hypothesis, family stress theory, and the previous empirical studies. Using data on working households ih the 1992 and 1998 Survey of Consumer Finances (SCF), double-hurdle analyses were conducted. The results suggested that employment related factors that measured employment stability were significantly related to the likelihood of having an outstanding balance on their credit account but were not the influential factors in determining the amount of the outstanding balance. Among other factors, resources factor played the most significant role in determining both the likelihood of having an outstanding balance and the amount of the balance. Although the 1992 and 1998 data represent economic downturn and economic prosperous period, the effects of the factors including employment instability factors were similar between the two periods. This imply that employment instability has increased even in the economic prosperous period. From the findings, several implications for policy makers, credit industry, and financial educators were suggested.

  • The nature of work which is changing has increased the importance of HRD within organization. Also, these changes are making HRD shift its paradigm : from the segregated, closed, operational & administrative, dependent, utilitarian view to the integrative, open, strategic & facilitative, interdependent, generative view. The shifts of the perspective on HRD cause HRD professionals rethink the purpose and definition of HRD, and the role & competency needed to HRD in 21st century. The findings which are drawn through literature review and researcher’s intuition based on a long field experience are as follows. First, The function of HRD has recently been much more important then that of the past. Second, There is no consensus over the conceptual identity of HRD. Nonetheless, it is apparent that the preferred activities of the HRD function is performance improvement. Third, It is too difficult that we should define clearly the role & competency of HRD because of diverse perspectives on them. But we find much evidence converging to support the fact that the role & competency of HRD should be extended from the sole focus on training & development to adding the additional role & competency of change agent, who includes planning, implementing, and managing change.

디지털 아카이빙을 위한 보존 기술항목 프레임워크 구축 (Construction of Preservation Description Framework for Digital Archiving)

  • 현재 디지털 아카이빙에 널리 적용되고 있는 정보 모델링에서는 기술사항 생성을 위한 개념적인 프로세스만을 정의하고 있으며, 이를 정보자원의 보존 혹은 보존을 위한 메타데이터의 생성에 실제적으로 적용하는데 있어서는 한계를보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 디지털 아카이빙에서의 정보 개체를 효율적으로 기술하기 위해 정보자원 클러스터의 개념을 제안하고, 이를 실제적으로 구현하기 위해 XML 구문에 기반한 RDF를 적용하여 보존 기술항목 프레임워크를 구축하였다. 이는 OAIS 참조모델과 FRBR의 개념적인 구조를 결합하여 보존의 대상이 되는 정보자원을 보다 효과적으로 기술하고 보존 메타데이터를 생성할 수 있는 대안적인 접근방법으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

결혼 과정에 대한 의사결정 유형에 영향을 미치는 요인 탐색 (Family Decision-Making Process of wedding Process)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify variables that influence the family decision-making process when planning a wedding. In this case the planning refers to: the procedure of the wedding: yedan, which means presents for parents and relatives: and yemul, which means wedding gifts. Decision-making was categorized into four types: decisions led by the bride and groom, decisions led by the groom's parents, decisions led by the bride's parents, and co-decisions by the two families. Resource theory was used as a conceptual framework. Data for this study were collected from 305 adults who got married after 1977 and lived in Seoul. Multinomial logistic regression models were used to analyze the data. Variables determining the decision-making of wedding procedure were the groom's age at marriage, the level of familism, and the major source for the wedding expenses. When it came to decisions on yedan, gender, the bride's year of education, and the major source for wedding expenses had significant influence on the decision-making. Variables that affected decision-making on yemul were the bride's year of education, and the major source for wedding expenses. This study suggested the power structure among bride, groom, and their parents through variables which exert influence on family decision-making.

태그 조직화를 위한 소셜 메타데이터 프레임워크 구축 (Construction of Social Metadata Framework for Organizing Social Tags)

  • 소셜 메타데이터는 이용자의 자발적인 참여를 통해 정보자원에 대한 풍부한 기술사항을 생성한다는 장점을 지니고 있지만, 조직화 된 구조를 적용하기 어렵다는 특성으로 인해 여러 가지 한계 또한 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 소셜 메타데이터의 유형 가운데 태그를 중심으로 LibraryThing에서 활용되고 있는 태그의 의미를 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 기술의 대상이 되는 정보자원의 서지적 카테고리를 제공함으로써 태그의 의미적 조직화를 위한 대안적인 방안을 제안하였다. 서지적 카테고리를 구조적으로 제공하고 이를 통해 태그 부여단계에서 태그의 의미적 조직화를 유도하기 위해 소셜 인포메이션 아키텍쳐를 적용하여 태그의 조직화를 위한 소셜 메타데이터 프레임워크를 구축하였다. 이는 소셜 메타데이터의 조직화를 위한 개념적인 기반을 제공함으로써 향후 태그를 자동화 된 방식으로 조직하는데 활용할 수 있는 의미적 기반을 마련해 줄 것으로 기대된다.

Relationship between Work-Life Balance, Religiosity and Employee Engagement: A Proposed Moderated Mediation Model

  • Human resource is considered as an important resource that enables organizations to achieve competitive advantage. As such, it is important to have engaged employees to drive the strategic objectives of the organization. The study focuses on variables that can promote employee engagement. Work-life balance and employee engagement have received attention in both academia and practice. Engaged employees are crucial in the achievement of the strategic objectives of organizations. Besides, the role of religious orientation in life and work has been gaining attention from management scholars. The paper attempts to fill the research gap by developing a conceptual model and propositions for empirical testing. Specifically, the study proposes that work-life balance is expected to act as a mediator in the relationship between religiosity and employee engagement. Furthermore, religiosity is included as a moderator since religious belief can strengthen the positive relationship between work-life balance and employee engagement. A systematic literature review was carried out. A framework and propositions for future studies have been developed. The proposed framework provides direction for scholars to empirically test the indirect relationship between work-life balance, religiosity and employee engagement. Empirical testing of the framework could provide insights into how work-life balance and religiosity promote employee engagement.

스마트공장을 위한 빅데이터 애널리틱스 플랫폼 아키텍쳐 개발 (Developing a Big Data Analytics Platform Architecture for Smart Factory)

  • While global manufacturing is becoming more competitive due to variety of customer demand, increase in production cost and uncertainty in resource availability, the future ability of manufacturing industries depends upon the implementation of Smart Factory. With the convergence of new information and communication technology, Smart Factory enables manufacturers to respond quickly to customer demand and minimize resource usage while maximizing productivity performance. This paper presents the development of a big data analytics platform architecture for Smart Factory. As this platform represents a conceptual software structure needed to implement data-driven decision-making mechanism in shop floors, it enables the creation and use of diagnosis, prediction and optimization models through the use of data analytics and big data. The completion of implementing the platform will help manufacturers: 1) acquire an advanced technology towards manufacturing intelligence, 2) implement a cost-effective analytics environment through the use of standardized data interfaces and open-source solutions, 3) obtain a technical reference for time-efficiently implementing an analytics modeling environment, and 4) eventually improve productivity performance in manufacturing systems. This paper also presents a technical architecture for big data infrastructure, which we are implementing, and a case study to demonstrate energy-predictive analytics in a machine tool system.
