The purpose of this study is to examine the expressional characteristics and effects of Diabolism image that appeared in fashion illustration. The concept of evil from ancient times is arranged with more basic pain, unhappiness, breakdown, fear, ignorance, sadness, imperfection, death, disease, and ugliness than it can be understandable in modern society. However, as the concept of evil is included in sacred ground of art and is begun to understand by the ugliness of broad sense, the evil and ugliness were recognized as subordinate concepts which fertilizing beauty. Also, image characteristics of Diabolism in pop culture are taking charge roles that remove visual discordance to decadent and mysterious beauty and trying to find new beauty by presentation of bad-tasted style. The aesthetic and expressional characteristics of Diabolism in modem visual media have something in common which is classified into five shapes: Negative image, Symbolic line and color, Transformation, Devilish shape, and Fantastic image. The Diabolism expressions in fashion illustration since 1980 show the possibility of image expression as a new technical field because they differ from existing expression methods and viewpoints of beauty. Therefore, the practical use of devilish image to express excessive aesthetic sense can expand the extent of image expression.

This study is to define correctly the concept of exotic image that evolved in domestic fashion since 2001 and to analyze the characteristics and current tendency of the domestic fashion items of the exotic image. Thus this study will be helpful in establishing an academic field of the exotic image in the domestic fashion industry which can offer the ideas necessary for the style and item developments. As for the research method of this study, the frequency and content multi-dimensional analysis were used in the investigation of the exotic images appearing in the domestic fashion brands. The types of exotic image are #ecological#, #folk & ethnic costume#, #kitchy bricolage#, #womanish#, #period# types by analyzed with the elements of exotic images in the domestic women#s fashion brand. The exotic image in domestic fashion market in the middle of 2000s is the results of fusion phenomena among various trend styles, and through the compromise and mixture of different elements, exaggerations, and historically different times of old and new. In conclusion, the contemporary concept of exotic image is expanded by the sum of many contributing images. They are the folk ethnic costume image originating from various different cultures and also the fusion images of folk ethnic costumes from non-urban, not-modern, not-industrialized images compromised with unfamiliar codes.

The space can recognize by experience of sense, the each space to make identity through this. The contemporary architecture make possible an experience of sense through a complex paradigm and a composite concept expression. The expression method of materials to image the sense of being alive is direct and indirect and compromise. The interior design is visually to realize designer's concept, and the interior designer has to realize their it. The later study is on detail of material, in order to realize of material.

Recently, sparse coding has achieved remarkable success in image representation tasks. In practice, the performance of clustering can be significantly improved if limited label information is incorporated into sparse coding. To this end, in this paper, a novel semi-supervised algorithm, called constrained sparse concept coding (CSCC), is proposed for image representation. CSCC considers limited label information into graph embedding as additional hard constraints, and hence obtains embedding results that are consistent with label information and manifold structure information of the original data. Therefore, CSCC can provide a sparse representation which explicitly utilizes the prior knowledge of the data to improve the discriminative power in clustering. Besides, a kernelized version of our proposed CSCC, namely kernel constrained sparse concept coding (KCSCC), is developed to deal with nonlinear data, which leads to more effective clustering performance. The experimental evaluations on the MNIST, PIE and Yale image sets show the effectiveness of our proposed algorithms.

In this paper, we describe the design and implementationof COIRS COncept,based Image Retricval System). It differs from extant content-based image retrieval systems in that it enables users to query based on concepts- it allows users to get images concepmally relevant. A concept is basically an aggregation of promitive objects in an image. For such a cencept based image retrieval functionality. COIRS aglopts an image descriptor called triple and includes a triple thesaurus used for capturing concepts. There are four facilities in COIRS: a visual image indeses a triple thesaurus, an inverted fiel, and a user query interface. The visnal image indeser facilitates object laeling and the percification of positionof objects. It is an assistant tool designed to minimize manual work when indexing images. 1"his Study is to make research a Image and Symbol in the Gothic Architecture. Firstly, the concept of the symbol and the image effect are essentially based on the meaning that the activity of consciousness take on the constitution of the symbol. Therefore the image represent the deepest content of human nature has been imagination and reality. Secondly, the symbol concept showed in Gothic Architecture was associated with the passion of the order of middle ages. The world, the cosmos and the history had been revealed in Gothic architecture. In Gothic Image, Emile Male maintained the symbol of the Catholic Church as above mentioned. The Catholic Church was mirror of the natural, the institution, the moral and history, then this passion of the order was a christian order. Especially, E. Panofsky said that the scholastic method was shown in Gothic architecture. He assert that it was especially dialectic method used in theology. That is, he explained the transfiguration of Gothic Architecture with the process of thesis, anti-thesis, synthesis. These symbolize light, magnitude, clearness. Finally, symbolic image is important in Post-Modem architecture at present. Post-Modern architecture is associated with the public and the Pluralism. Post-Modern architecture attempt to communicate as symbolic language among the assumption for diverse aspect of culture.

As the importance and utilization of multimedia data increases, it becomes necessary to represent and manage multimedia data within database systems. In this paper, we designed and implemented an image retrieval system which support efficient management and intelligent retrieval of image data using concept hierarchy and data mining techniques. We stored the image information intelligently in databases using concept hierarchy. To support intelligent retrievals and efficient web services, our system automatically extracts and stores the user information, the user's query information, and the feature data of images. The proposed system integrates user metadata and image metadata to support various retrieval methods on image data.

The purpose of this research is for confirming that fashion study has to do with industry through the developing of fashion goods which is related to a trend as a cultural code. Recently fashion design trend is focused on 'retro', 'Retro' is the one of the important trends in this century not only fashion but also cultural industry, Therefore, in this research, the processing about development of decorative vest design as fashion goods was showed by using retro image. For this process, research steps were as follows : 1. Confirming the meaning of 'retro fashion'. 2. Studying about the flow of retro fashion from 1960s to 1990s. 3, Finding the characteristics of retro fashion design and the image through abroad and domestic collections from 2000 to 2003. 4. Designing and making vest using new concept from the leading images. Through this processed, it was find that retro fashion design had three images : vintage image, ethnic image and romantic image. Then three vests were made by a concept 'a piece of handicraft' using handcraft technique such as beading, patch-work, fringing, scratching, stitching, mixing which were used in retro fashion design characteristics.

In this paper, we propose a prgressive image transmission technique using hierarchical pyramid data structure which is constructed based on the projection data of an image. To construct hierarchical Gaussian pyramids, we first divide an image into 4$\times$4 subblocks and generate the projection data of each block along the horizontal, vertical, diagonal, and antidiagonal directions. Among images reconstructed by backprojecting the projection data along a single direction, the one giving the minimum distortion is selected. The Gaussian pyramid is recursively generated by the proposed algorithm and the proposed Gaussian images are shown to preserve edge information well. Also, based on the projection concept a new transmission scheme of the lowest Laplacian plane is presented. Computer simulation shows that the quantitative performance of the proposed pyramid coding technique using projection concept is similar to those of the conventional methods with transmission rate reduced by 0.1 ~ 0.2 bpp and its subjective performance is shown to be better due to the edge preserving property of a projection operation.
