폴리프로필렌/점토 나노복합체의 하이브리드 나노구조에 따른 기계적 성질 및 결정화거동 변화 (Hybrid Nanostructure-dependent Mechanical Properties and Crystallization Behaviors of Polypropylene/Clay Nanocomposites)

  • 아미노실란 처리된 점토를 제조하여, 이를 분자량이 서로 다른 폴리프로필렌(140 kg/mol과 410 kg/mol) 과 상용화제인 무수말레인산 그래프트 폴리프로필렌(50 kg/mol)과 함께 $170^{\circ}C$$190^{\circ}C$에서 용융혼합법으로 각각의 폴리프로필렌/점토 나노복합체를 제조하였다. 무수말레인산 그래프트 폴리프로필렌과 용융혼합과정에서 낮은 분자량의 폴리프로필렌은 점토 층 사이로 쉽게 침투하여 층간 거리를 58 $\AA$ 이상으로 증가시키지만, 첨가된 점토는 60~80 nm 두께의 응집체로 나노복합체 내에 분산상을 이룬다. 이와 달리 높은 분자량의 폴리프로필렌 기반 나노복합체에서는 점토는 27 $\AA$로 낮은 박리 정도를 보이며, 전반적으로 고른 점토 분산상을 형성한다. 분자 량 및 용융혼합공정의 차이에 따른 폴리프로필렌/점토 나노복합체의 미세 모폴로지 차이로 기계적 물성 및 결정 화거동이 관찰되었으며, 분자량 410(kg/mol)인 폴리프로필렌은 개질된 점토를 1~3 wt% 첨가함으로써 순수 폴 리프로필렌의 연성특성을 유지하면서 향상된 인장강도와 탄성률을 보였다.

Structural and Dielectric Studies of LLDPE/O-MMT Nanocomposites

  • Nanocomposites made of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and organo-modified montmorillonite (O-MMT) were processed by melt compounding from a commercially available premixed LLDPE/nanoclay masterbatch, at different nanoclay loadings, by co-rotating twin-screw extruder. The morphological and dielectric properties of LLDPE/O-MMT nanocomposites were investigated to understand the structure-dielectric properties relationship in the nanocomposites. The microstructures of the materials were characterized by wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Initial findings by FTIR spectroscopy characterization indicated the absence of any chemical interaction between LLDPE and nanoclay during the extrusion process, while DSC showed that a 1% wt loading of nanoclay particles increased the degree of crystallinity of the nanocomposites samples. On the other hand, XRD, SEM, TEM and AFM indicated that nanoclay layers were intercalated or exfoliated in the LLDPE matrix. A correlation between the structure and dielectric properties of LLDPE/O-MMT nanocomposites was found and discussed.

  • This study systematically analyzes the specific characteristics of clothes that each person owned by applying morphological analysis, one of the creative conception technique and suggests a way that person owned on clothes through better fashion coordination according to personal style change. The result of this study is like below. Firstly, we could draw a successful fashion coordination technique by compounding solutions classified by each important variable totally through morphological analysis. Second, we suggested a personal style analysis technique that is systematic and visual through morphological analysis. Third, we could draw a various fashion coordination technique by mixture of partial solution for important variables in short time, and concluded that it is helpful to idea quest to emphasize personal individuality in shopping. Finally a study on program development that can do expansion of fashion coordination efficiently in submitting a morphological analysis table should continue.

  • A study analyzes the eclectic trend shown in Andy Warhol look to explain the pluralistic aspect which is expressed in the late 20th century's fashion. Eclecticism is a trial to dismantle the barriers between pure art and popular art, high culture and low culture. This pursues harmonious accommodation and coexistence of all areas without being confined in the conventional lofty taste or high art. This thesis studies the characteristic aspects of the eclectic trend by classifying this trend into sell culture, mass media and fashion around the Andy Warhol look. The sexual eclectic trend in Warhol look is bisexual one shown in clubland and the world of modeling and supplies fashion with abundant expression and ambiguity. Warhol established cultural eclecticism by compounding high cultural factors and low cultural factors. broke up the boundary between street fashion and high fashion and escaped from the fixed idea on materials and design. Also he generalized and democratized specialty or nobility conventional paintings had possessed through introducing repetition and mediocrity and fully utilized every kind of mass media, Hollywood movie stars and daily necessaries in producing works. Andy Warhol who asserted‘Business Art’that was the mixed form of artistry and commercialism had creative and futuristic taste and proposed the direction to develop current fashion and art where the concept of economy is importantly brought into relief.

윤활시스템에서 극압첨가제 조성에 따른 마모특성 연구 (A Study on the Wear Properties by EP(Extreme Pressure) Additive Composition in a Lubricated Concentrated Contact)

  • This research for replacement of chlorine or sulfur based EP(extreme pressure) -additives which is restricted materials by environmental regulation. The subject of this study is as follows, 4-ball test and friction coefficient test were experimented in accordance with temperature and velocity, compounding with several organic or inorganic metallic elements. After 4-ball test, wear area of steel ball was analysed by SEM-EDX. As the analysis, organic and inorganic elements make a effect for extreme pressure lubricity. It is shown that the friction coefficient of lubricant which includes chlorine or sulfur additives, the scoring phenomenon is found accord-ing to temperature and the scuffing phenomenon at 200$^{\circ}C$. Applying to Na, P, S, Zn, Ca based on inorganic and organic elements, the result showed that friction coefficient is decreased more and more, as increasing temperature of lubricant. The additive based on S, Cl, P elements is effect far extreme pressure in the sample#1 and Na, P, S, Zn, Ca in sample #2. These elements are environmental contaminants and S, Cl based on EP additives which are very popular in domestic industry, when they are properly composed with non-chlorine based on additives and Na, P, S, Zn, Ca organic or inorganic elements. It is showed that lubricity and excellent anti-wear properties.

프로그램 슬라이스 기법과 백트랙 기법을 조합한 오류 위치의 결정 방법 (A Decision Method of Error Positions Compounding Prigram Slicing Method and Bacdtracking Method)

  • 소프트웨어 개발비용의 대부분이 생명주기 중에서도 특히 테스트 공정에 소비된다. 일반적으로 디버깅을 위해 자주 사용되는 기법으로서 백트랙(backtrack) 기법과 프로 그램 슬라이스 기법이 있으나 디버거에 대한 풍부한 경험이 요구되거나 대규모 프로그램 에 대해서는 적용하기 곤란하다. 본 논문에서는 표준적으로 사용되고 있는 설계문서의 정보를 이용하고 벡트랙기법과 프로그램 슬라이스 기법을 조합시킨 새로운 오류 위치의 결정 방법을 제안하였다. 디버깅 기법을 제안하기 위해 몇 가지 기본개념과 대상으로 하는 오류, 표준적인 설계문서 및 제안하는 오류 위치의 결정방법에 대해서 기술하였다. 그리고 오류가 포함한 프로그램의 예를 이용하여 제안한 방법의 절차를 설명하였으며 끝으로 제안방법과 일반 슬라이스 기법을 비교.분석하였다.

고속 마찰 특성 평가시험기 개발을 통한 타이어 트레드 고무의 마찰에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Friction of Tire Tread Rubber using High-Speed Friction Test Machine)

  • Due to the development of compounding technology, there is a considerable increase in the number of high performance rubbers in the world. Accordingly, there are rapid growing requests about high performance tires such as UHP tire and Run-flat tire. However, it is extremely difficult to investigate the friction coefficient of tire tread rubbers. An alternative solution must be developed with the reliability of high-speed linear friction test machines. The use of friction test machines can be expected to improve rubber friction researches. In this paper, we propose a new kind of high-speed linear friction test machine. We have designed and manufactured various mechanisms for friction tests. The final goals are to design and manufacture friction test machines that can investigate friction coefficients efficiently and rapidly. The performance of the proposed high-speed linear friction test machine is evaluated experimentally; however additional study should be necessary for safer and more reliable experimentation.

  • A high temperature and a low temperature plasma process technologies were developed and demonstrated for synthesis, hybrid formation, surface treatment and CVD engineering of nano powder. RF thermal plasma is used for synthesis of spherical nano particles in a diameter ranged from 10 nm to 100 nm. A variety of nano particules such as Si, Ni, has been synthesized. The diameter of the nano-particles can be controlled by RF plasma power, pressure, gas flow rate and raw material feed rate. A modified RF thermal plasma also produces nano hybrid materials with graphene. Hemispherical nano-materials such as Ag, Ni, Si, SiO2, Al2O3, size ranged from 30 to 100 nm, has been grown on graphene nanoplatelet surface. The coverage ranged from 0.1 to 0.7 has been achieved uniformly over the graphene surface. Low temperature AC plasma is developed for surface modification of nano-powder. In order to have a three dimensional and lengthy plasma treatment, a spiral type of reactor has been developed. A similar plasma reactor has been modfied for nano plasma CVD process. The reactor can be heated with halogen lamp.

슬릿휜형 열교환기의 성능에 대한 설계인자의 영향 (Effect of design factors on the performance of heat exchanger with a slit fin)

  • This study is to systematically analyze the effect of various kinds of design parameters on heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of heat exchanger with a slit fin. TAGUCHI method, known to us as a very reasonable tool in the parametric study, is employed in the present work. Experimental factors have been limited to seven cases, considering the production of sample and the cost. The 18 kinds of large scale models are made by compounding level on each factor and the heat transfer and flow characteristics on each model has been analyzed. The present results allow us to be able to quantitatively estimate the various parameters affecting the heat exchanger performance, and main factors for an optimum design of a heat exchanger have been selected. The optimum design value on each parameter was presented and the reproducibility on the results was guaranteed.

창의·인성교육 기반 지구과학 수업모형 제안 (A Suggesting of the Earth Science Lesson Model Based on the Creativity·Character Education)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest the earth science lesson model based on the creativity character education. To conduct this study, the curriculum revision in 2009 was analyzed by the causal mapping method. One after another, the creativity character education and earth system education were analyzed by the same method. Through as mentioned above, the key words which have relating concepts each other were picked out. Lastly, the key words were connected and compounded for the earth science lesson model based on the creativity character education. The model indicates that the earth science lesson based on the creativity character education requires the reconstructs of the processing and contents of the lesson. In other words, the teaching/learning must be progressed as corresponding between scientific facts and mental recognition, scientific concepts and compounding thinking skill, scientific laws and reconstructing thinking skill. In contents were reconstructed as relating to knowledge, creativity, characters and guidance counseling. The results of this study suggested the earth science lesson model based on the creativity character education needs developing and applying teaching/learning materials and managing discussing and cooperative learning.
