reliability from components reliability. In this case, it assumes that components failure is mutually independent, but it may not true in real systems. In this study, the mean cost per unit time is computed as the ratio of mean life to the mean cost. The mean life is obtained by the reliability function under power rule model. The mean cost is obtained by the mathematical model based on the inspection interval. A heuristic method is proposed to determine the optimal number of redundant units and the optimal inspection interval to minimize the mean cost per unit time. The assumptions of this study are as following : First, in the load-sharing k-out-of-n:G system, total loads are applied to the system and shared by the operating components. Secondly, the number of failed components affects the failure rate of surviving components as a function of the total load applied. Finally, the relation between the load and the failure rate of surviving components is set by the power rule model. For the practical application of the above methods, numerical examples are presented.
Test of the optimum condition of solid phase micro extraction(SPME) was performed by use of 5 vol-atile components in dilute aqueous solution. Volatile components of Sancho(Zanthoxylum schinifolium) were isolated by SPME method and were analyzed by GC/MSD and compared with volatile compone-nts isolated by simultaneous distillation extraction (SDE) method. Total 31 components were identified by comparing gas chromatography retention time and mass spectral data. The major compounds were limonene geranyl acetate $\beta$-phellandrene phellandral mycene linalool rose oxide caproic acid and caprylic acid SPME sampling procedure was found to be a good method for qualitative analysis of the volatile components.

Knowledge of the solar radiation components and classified wavelength are essential for modeling many solar energy systems. This is particularly the case for applications that concentrate the incident energy to attain high photo-dynamic efficiency achievable only at the higher intensities. In order to estimate the performance of concentrating solar systems, it is necessary to know the intensity of the beam radiation, as only this components can be concentrated, and The new solar system can generate electricity from ultraviolet and infrared light as well as visible light. The Korea Institute of Energy Research(KIER) has began collecting solar radiation components data since January, 1988, and solar radiation classified wavelength data since November, 2008. KIER's solar radiation components and classified wavelength data will be extensively used by concentrating solar system users or designers as well as by research institutes.
This study was conducted to evaluate the ventilation to remove gases, vapor and particles of environmental tobacco smoke(ETS) in a closed room. The ventilation rate choosed were 0.445 ㎥/min, 0.528 ㎥/min, and 0.625 ㎥/min. ETS components measured were total suspended particle(TSP), ultraviolet particulate matter(UVPM), fluorescent particulate matter(FPM), solanesol, carbon dioxide($CO_2$), carbon monoxide(CO), nicotine, and 3-ethenylpyri-dine(3-EP). The concentration of ETS components measured rapidly decreased as increasing ventilation rate, but the removal efficiency by ventilation was different from each ETS compounds. The $CO_2$, and CO, gaseous components of ETS, were dominant components to be removed from the room by ventilation. The ventilation with 0.528 ㎥/min for 1 hr was enough to remove over 99% of those gaseous components. Nicotine and 3-EP needed the ventilation for 2 hrs to reduce over 95 % of those components. As the same ventilation rate, 99 % of TSP and solanesol concentration were removed from the room within 2 hrs, UVPM and FPM concentration decreased 90 %.

This paper proposes a framework for product development including hardware and software components. The framework provides separation of the hardware dependent software, an integrated product development process, and integration of software components with product configurations and product structures. In order to separates the hardware dependent software, the framework considers product configuration modules and engineering changes of associated hardware and software components. The proposed product development process integrates development of the hardware dependent software into the existing product development process. In order to integrates the hardware dependent software with product configurations and product structures, the framework represents software components by existing product data models in Product Data Management (PDM). The framework is applied to development of a robot system including hardware and software components in order to show its effectiveness.

SOAP presents a protocol to realize efficient call of each components. It is based on XML and HTTP communications and existed on the network system. In this paper, An example of the system is given through XML web service and components which are consist of .net structure. We built a Knowledge Management System which shows various uses of components. A pattern is proposed to create objects though reuse of existing components.
Volatile flavor components of fresh, shady air dried, and presteamed shady air dried Chamnamul (Pimpinella brachycarpa) were collected by simultaneous steam distillation-extraction method, and essential oils were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Twenty five, 17 and 23 volatile flavor components were identified in essential oils extracted from the fresh, shady air dried, and presteamed shady air dried Chamnamul samples, respectively; however, the kinds of individual components and its percent content of the total volatiles were varied depending on samples. The principal components of Chamnamul were isobutanal, trans caryophyllene, trans ${\beta}$-farnesene, and ${\alpha}$-selinene. Terpenoid compounds reached 44.11%, 33.91% and 72.63% respectively in fresh, shady air dried, and presteamed shady air dried Chamnamul.
PCB assembly is a complicated and difficult process to optimize due to the necessity of simultaneous consideration of component’s rack assignment and board mounting sequencing. An efficient PCB assembly method is developed by using neighboring positioned identical components information as well as quantity and size of the components. It is found that same type of components are located closely each other by checking real PCBs and interviewing with PCB designers in practice. Better performance of the developed procedure is obtained along with more number of total components and more number of neighboring positioned identical components cases. Simulation models are developed using Visual C++ for performance evaluation purposes of the suggested heuristic.
The purpose of this paper is to present a model to design the layout of the user interface components that handles many numbers of qualitative factors. An alternate rating system is also proposed for the closeness relationship ratings between the various pairs of components evaluated by using GOMS (goals, operators, methods and selection rules) technique. The proposed model is applied to the design of the part of the user interface in order to obtain the best layout of the components. The results of the proposed model are compared with that of an existing model, which handles single qualitative factor applied to obtain the layouts of user interface components.
Identification of reusable software components should guide user to come up with information about candidate components when a proper component is not found. Reusable software components which is able to confidential are a few risk and more effective than redesign or encode same components about each new application program. In this paper reusable processes are considered previously. Reusable model and the method for construction are analyzed for construction reusable components and reusable components which take this method are proposed. These problem will go far toward solving the design and coding of effective program.
