In recent years, research has begun to place greater emphasis on the strategic use of IT in seeking to build firm's capability, thus innovating firm's business value. Many leading firms have been put efforts to formulate and implement IT governance (ITG) structures, processes, and mechanisms for firm's IT activities. However, recent literatures reviews found that ITG framework have been discussed independently rather than in an integrated and on convergent manner failing to provide comprehensive conceptual framework. The objective of this paper is therefore, to develop a conceptual framework that enable to conduct a comparative ITG case studies. The proposed framework, developed by one of author, has extensively applied in real case study to validate its usefulness and also aims to contribute practitioners to understand how well IT principles are formed within the organization as well as corelate with ITG objectives and ITG execution.

The idiom is the fixed phrase with the traits of stable patterns, habitual uses, historic and ethnical characteristics. The numeral is categorized under the substantial, it represents the quantity or sequence, it can be divided into cardinal numerals and ordinal numerals. Although a considerable of the Korean numeral idioms generated from Chinese numeral idioms, however, due to various factors such as different historical background, customs, and language structure, in the long term, Korean and Chinese numeral idioms formed different characteristics in many aspects. This paper mostly examines the outside form of numeral idioms in Korean and Chinese. The aim is to summarize the different system of Korean and Chinese by analyzing the rules of the numeral idioms in Korean and Chinese.

The Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller is the most popular industrial controller and more than 90% process industries use this controller. During the past 50 years, numerous good tuning methods have been proposed for Single Input Single Output Systems. However, design of PI/PID controllers for multivariable processes is a challenge for the researchers. A comparative study of three PID controllers design methods has been carried-out. These methods include the DS (Direct Synthesis) method, IMC (Internal model Control) method and ETF (Effective Transfer Function) method. MIMO PID controllers are designed for a number of 2×2, 3×3 and 4×4 process models with multiple delays. The performance of the three methods has been evaluated through simulation studies in Matlab/Simulink environment. After extensive simulation studies, it is found that the Effective Transfer Function (ETF) Method produces better output responses among two methods. In this work, only decentralized methods of PID controllers have been studied and investigated.

For a flow normal to a circular disk, the flow separation occurs from the edge of the disk and the flow recirculation zone exists behind the disk. Many existing studies conducted simulations of flow normal to a circular disk under low Reynolds numbers. Some studies performed LES or DES simulations under high Reynolds numbers. However, comparative study for different RANS models for high Reynolds numbers is very limited. This study presents numerical simulations of a flow normal to a circular disk using Realizable k-ε model and SST k-ω model. The recirculation bubble length and drag coefficient were compared with the experimental data. The SST k-ω model showed the excellent predictions for the recirculation bubble length and drag coefficient.

This paper is a comparative study of English loans in Russian and Swahili. In the twenty first century, due to the advantage of English as a global language, a language of technology and business, it has had contact with many languages of the world and has become a major source of loans to many languages. Though very different from each other, both Russian and Swahili currently have English as their main source of loanwords. This study reports the extensive adaptation of English loans by Russian and Swahili and examines how these loan items are assimilated into the two languages. It concludes that besides the adaption of pure English loans they have both employed other strategies such as loan translations, semantic extensions and loanblends for vocabulary expansion.

In this research, the writer has done a comparative analysis of 4,791 trisyllabic modern Chinese vocabularies from "a dictionary for trisyllabic modern Chinese word" and the corresponding Korean words written in Chinese characters out of 170,000 vocabularies hereupon that are collected in "new age new Korean dictionar y". Aa a result, we have the total 407 pairs of corresponding group with the following 3 types: 1) Chinese : Korean 3(2) : 3 syllable Chinese characters with completely same form-morpheme and same meaning, use, class (376pairs, 92.38% of 407), 2) Chinese : Korean 3 : 3 syllable Chinese characters with completely same form-morpheme and partly same meaning, use, class (18pairs, 4.42% of 407), 3)Chinese : Korean 3 : 3 syllable Chinese characters with completely same form-morpheme and different meaning, use, class (13pairs, 3.19% of 407).
