장거리 공중-지상 채널환경에서 대용량 데이터링크의 수신성능 분석방법 연구 (Research on Performance Analysis for the Long Distance Air-Ground Wideband Common Data Link)

  • 본 논문은 장거리 공중-지상 가시선 링크에서 대용량 영상정보용 데이터링크의 무선채널 특성을 분석하고 공중-지상 채널의 협대역 및 광대역 간섭이 대용량 데이터링크의 수신 신호에 미치는 영향을 수학적으로 분석하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 성능분석 방법을 이용하여 통신거리에 따른 수신성능을 분석하였고 지면 반사파의 협대역 및 광대역 간섭에 의해 통신거리가 제한됨을 확인하였다. 또한 수신 안테나를 상향으로 제어하는 방법의 성능분석 결과, 협대역뿐만 아니라 광대역 간섭도 효과적으로 제거함으로써 별도의 등화기를 포함하지 않은 기존 대용량 데이터링크 장비로도 통신거리를 증가시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Random Amplitude Variability of Seismic Ground Motions and Implications for the Physical Modeling of Spatial Coherency

  • An initial approach for the identification of physical causes underlying the spatial coherency of seismic ground motions it presented. The approach relies on the observation that amplitude and phase variability of seismic data recorded over extended areas around the amplitude and phase of a common, coherent component are correlated. It suffices then to examine the physical causes for the amplitude variability in the seismic motions, in order to recognize the causes for the phase variability and, consequently, the spatial coherency. In this study, the effect of randomness in the shear wave velocity at a site on the amplitude variability of the surface motions mi investigated by means of simulations. The amplitude variability of the simulated motions around the amplitude of the common component is contained within envelope functions, the shape of which suggests, on a preliminary basis, the trend of the decay of coherency with frequency.

  • Because data processing systems in recent years are more complicated, main function of the data processing is divided as several sub-functions which are implemented and verified in each subsystem of the data processing system. For the verification of data processing system, many interface tests among subsystems are required and also a lot of simulation systems are demanded. This paper proposes CTHS (Common Test Harness System) for satellite ground segment development which has all of functions for interface test of the data processing system in one PC. Main functions of the CTHS software are data interface, system log generation, and system information display. For the interface test of the data processing system, all of actions of the CTHS are executed by a pre-defined operation scenario which is written by purpose of the data processing system test.

  • Due to the conventional half-bridge switch-mode converters for dc motor drive have been usually using unbalanced circuit topologies which generate common-mode currents through parasitic capacitors distributed between the ground and the dc motor frame such as the heat-sink of switching devices or the frame of the dc motor. This paper describes methods that cancel common-mode current generated in half-bridge switch-mode converters by using circuit balancing technique. The circuit balancing is to make the noise pickup or occurring in both conductor lines, signal and return pathes, is equal in amplitude and opposite in phase so that it will be canceled out in the ground plane. The common-mode current cancellation in the proposed converter is confirmed by experimental results.

  • The application of stabilization method has increased because of short construction periods, no environmental problems with dumped and replaced soil, assurance of required strength and economical effect with mid to small size construction. The unconfined and triaxial(UU-condition) compression tests were executed with each mixing sample for the study of the improvement effects and the effect of design-parameters by the stabilization methods. Three typical stabilizers, which are representative in Korea, were applied in this study, and three common soils(very soft clay, general weathered soil, common clay), which are common in Korea, were used in this study. In this study, the effect of engineering factors(soils, stabilizers and water contents, etc.) which are important parameters for the improvement effects of mixed ground by stabilizers, was analyzed. As results, the tendencies of design-parameters(unconfined compression strength, deformation modulus and strength parameter) are presented and the criteria of the application of stabilization methods are suggested.

  • This paper is to demonstrate the effectiveness of one point grounding in support of ESS protection. One point grounding provides for the dispatching of excess energy for protection of switching equipment and personnel from lightning discharge hazards and for a natural sink for noise from atmospheric lightning and power transients. In most ESS installations there are a number of different items that must be maintained at a common ground potential for safety, fault protection or noise reduction. The items typically consist of power systems, heating and ventilating systems, distributing frames, repeating equipmets, switching equipments, etc. Grounding system of an ESS Office is most effective when all the ground points are connected to a single, common earth. The one point grounding prvides a common reference potential, keeping all the items of telecommunications facility free from the earth current and voltage hazards.

  • The fishermen around fishing villages have organized the Eo Chon Gae, a co-operative organization based on the Fisheries Co-operative Law. The Eo chon Gae plays a vital role in the fishing village community, and the common economic, administrative and social profits are expected by members. The members of the Eo Chon Gae must work together in a common coastal fishing ground, this fishing ground is jointly owned by the community, and the members have to conduct the Eo chon Gae jointly for their common profit. This system, as mentioned above, is called the Eo Chon Gae, which is generally called a fishing village community, or a fishing administrative community. The purpose of these theses is to consider what kind of character and principles the Eo Chon Gae has. The contents of these theses are divided into six parts: 1. The various concepts of the fishing administrative community 2. The progress of the Eo Chon Gae. 3. The organization of the Eo chon Gae. 4. The purpose of the Eo chon Gae. 5. The Plural Subject Account of Group Beliefs Using Grounding Concept

  • In this paper, we propose a plural subject account of group beliefs using grounding concept, which bridges the gap between the two main approaches of ACLs, the mentalistic accounts and the social commitment accounts. The key idea of this Gilbert's plural subject account of group beliefs is to extend the grounding logic into the common ground framework for the semantics of ACLs which is fully verifiable, fully formalized and easily applicable. Thus, we formalize the proper group belief concept using common ground framework and we define the semantics of the primitive speech acts of FIPA-ACL such as inform, request and confirm as case studies. Also, we illustrate our framework on an e-commerce agent purchase negotiation and compare this proposed framework with two traditional semantics for ACLs.

공통 DGS를 이용한 발진기의 소형화 설계 (Design for Miniaturization of Oscillators using Common DGS)

  • 본 논문에서는 공통 결함접지구조(common defected ground structure, CDGS)를 이용하여 설계한 초고주파 발진기에 대하여 기술한다. 먼저 일반적인 스터브 공진기를 사용하여 발진기를 설계하고, 이를 종래처럼 DGS를 삽입하여 소형화하는 방법을 이용하였다. 최종적으로 DGS 공진기 부분을 반으로 접은 공통 DGS 구조를 이용하여 크기를 대폭 줄인 발진기를 설계하였다. 종래의 DGS를 이용한 경우보다 더욱 소형화된 회로를 얻기 위하여 공통 DGS 구조를 삽입하였다. 공통 DGS 구조를 이용하기 위하여 접혀진 신호선로는 3차원적인 신호선 비어홀(signal via-hole)로 서로 연결된다. 한 설계예로 2.1GHz대에서 소신호 트랜지스터와 공통 DGS 구조를 이용하여 소형화한 발진기를 설계하였다. 설계한 발진기는 표준형 회로에 비하여 11mm만큼 감소한 크기를 가졌다. 제작한 회로를 실제로 측정한 결과 6.7dBm의 출력과 -133dBc/Hz@1MHz의 위상잡음 특성을 얻었다. 출력의 크기는 소형화 이전과 유사한데, 이로써 제안한 발진기 구조의 타당성이 검증된다.

공통 결함접지구조를 이용한 소형화된 저역통과여파기의 설계 (Design of A Miniaturized Low Pass Filter Using Common Defected Ground Structure)

  • 본 논문에서는 공통 결함접지구조(common defected ground structure, CDGS)를 이용한 초고주파 대역의 저역통과여파기(low pass filter, LPF) 소형화 설계에 대하여 기술한다. 기존의 연구에서는 표준형 LPF보다 약간 소형화된 DGS 적용의 LPF를 설계하는 방법을 제시하는데 그쳤으나, 본 논문에서는 공통 DGS 구조를 이용하여 종래의 회로보다 절반의 크기로 줄이는 방법을 제시한다. 공통 DGS는 양면의 마이크로스트립 전송선로의 공통 접지면에 구현된다. 본 논문에서는 예로써, 비유전율이 2.2이고 두께가 31mils인 유전체 기판을 이용하여 양면 마이크로스트립 전송선로 구조와 공통 DGS를 구성하고, 이를 활용하여 소형화된 LPF를 설계하고, 실제로 제작 및 측정하여 제안하는 방법의 타당성을 검증한다. 최종적으로 설계된, 공통 DGS를 지니는 LPF는 기존의 단층 구조에서 DGS를 지니는 LPF에 비하여 52.6%의 크기를 가지면서도, 측정된 성능은 반사계수가 -22dB 이하이고 삽입손실이 0.19dB 이하로 여전히 우수함을 보여준다.
