The roles of electronic marketplace for buyer-supplier relationship: collaborative system architecture

  • As the most widely used media of BtoB e-business, the e-Marketplace (EM) can play an important role in the age of c-commerce (collaborative commerce). In supply chain management (SCM) area, the relationship-based collaboration among partners has shown great efficiency. Although the collaboration is important in both areas of EM and SCM there has been a critical difference in the selection of trade partners between them. In this paper, the EM's collaborative stages for integration with its customer system are reviewed and a system architecture is proposed for EM's electronic functional role within the perspective of collaborative commerce and buyer-supplier relationship. The relationship-based BtoB commerce through EM is reviewed to explain that it can be more beneficial than the commerce based on the price competitive selection of trade partners. With the proposed system architecture, an EM can be the functional medium for the collaborative IOIS system architecture.

  • Electronic commerce using internet is rapidly increasing a method to introduce and sell goods. persons who buy products in electronic commerce prefer to make interactive communications by multi users about products rather than show product informations. Reserved interactive transaction system for electronic commerce is electronic commerce system that is able to make a real communication buyers and customers. In this paper, e intend to design and implement reserved interactive transaction system for electronic commerce. it is efficiently used in middle and samll transaction system and able to make similar applications to sell and negotiate products for commercial transaction.

  • The terms electronic trade, electronic trading and electronic commerce are often used interchangeably, and refer to trading transactions conducted using electronic media. Electronic trade is business-to-business transactions in an industrial context, while electronic commerce refers to retailing and the consumer sector as well as mass marketing. The Electronic trade process is defined as a flow of information (documents) exchanged between enterprises and trade-related firms (shipping companies, foreign exchange banks, forwarders, etc.) in the course of implementing a series of export and import procedures. Electronic trading systems exploit information technology to improve the efficiency of communications and/or to alter the nature of inter-organizational transactions. Many studies exist about the adoption of inter-organizational systems (IOS) and electronic data interchange (EDI), but few focus on electronic trade. The literature on exporting companies's electronic trade adoption and implementation, although extensive, consists mainly of exploratory studies focusing on technological characteristics such as barriers, benefits and usage. The purpose of this study is to broaden this perspective by investigating the environmental, organizational and technological drivers of business-to-business e-commerce adoption.

  • The momentum of e-commerce is growing stronger and now, the competition between e-commerce is becoming more and more fierce. In the competition of various e-commerce companies, how to effectively analyze and rationally use these data has become a key point. This paper will use data mining technology to filter out redundant data from large Web databases, extract data that is useful to us, and then analyze them from different perspectives to apply this data reasonably and effectively to our e-commerce website.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine specific consumer problems in internet commerce and analyze them in the age of information. The way of sorting consumer problems in internet commerce from this study. For this empirical analysis, the data was collected 319 consumers by internet on-line survey from Feb. 13 to Feb. 20, 2000. The methods for study was frequency, percentage, mean, correlation, multiple regression using SAS PC program. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. The level of consumer problem experiences in internet commerce was examined. The problems of privacy was the most problem and the problem of price was the second. Then delivery, advertisement, information was next, and the problem of quality, and A/S, change, cancel was the next consumer problem. 2. Among factors influence on experience consumer problem in internet commerce, the amount of usable money, information search were significant.

Effects of Consumers' Demographic Profile on Mobile Commerce Adoption

  • This study addresses a shift, generally positive, in the acceptance and adoption of mobile commerce. The study, based on data collected using a survey questionnaire from mobile phone users in South Korea, examined the relationships using factor analysis and multiple regression analysis methods. The results showed equal positive adoption rates across all demographics of age, education, and income, except for gender, in terms of attitudes toward mobile shopping. The rate of mobile commerce adoption was relatively stronger among females than males. This finding provides new developments to mobile service providers on the effect of demographic profile on consumers'behavior and attitudes toward mobile shopping. Based on the results of the study, practical implications for marketing strategies in mobile commerce markets are suggested.

Exploring the Structural Relationship among Beauty Influencers' Attractiveness and Homophily, Emotional Attachment, and Live Commerce Stickiness

  • This study aims to understand how an influencer's social and physical attractiveness, background and value homophily influences consumer's emotional attachment, which in turn causes user stickiness with regards the influencer's live commerce. We tested all proposed hypotheses among users of the online shopping platform "TaoBao". Ultimately, 297 questionnaires were collected by means of an online survey. The results revealed that social and physical attractiveness positively influence emotional attachment. Meanwhile only value homophily significantly affected emotional attachment, whereas background homophily did not significantly affect emotional attachment. Additionally, emotional attachment was found to significantly influence live commerce stickiness. We also investigated the moderation effect of perceived beauty trends of products sold on live commerce, where the results indicated that high beauty tends to have a higher effect on live commerce stickiness behavior. Lastly, theoretical and managerial implications have been offered.

  • 본 논문에서는 M-Commerce의 빠른 성장에도 불구하고, M-Commerce만을 위해 제작되어진 Contents 제공의 한계로 인하여 M-Commerce 활성화에 많은 어려움이 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 줄이기 위한 해결책으로 기존에 연구되고 있는 M-Commerce 시스템에 URL Pattern 분석을 통해서 인터넷 상의 상점 정보 및 상품 디스플레이 URL 정보를 자동으로 수집하기 위한 UMM(URL Management Module)을 제안한다. 이 UMM의 적용으로 인하여 상품 검색을 해온 결과 기존 연구되고 있는 M-Commerce 시스템의 상품 검색보다 더 나아졌다. 이와 같은 상품 검색효율성의 개선은 실험을 통하여 알 수 있었다.

Understanding Social-Commerce Shopping Behavior: A Study in the Chinese Context

  • While numerous researchers have identified factors that explain social commerce-shopping behaviors, they have left one type rather understudied-trait-based antecedents. The ways consumer behavior is affected by their personal trait-this study therefore proposed and tested hedonic shopping tendencies. Findings indicate that hedonic shopping tendencies are a robust predictor of social support, consumer engagement, and impulse buying. Also, social support and consumer engagement affect social commerce intention and consequently social commerce frequency. Analysis of the results demonstrated a positive relationship between social support and consumer engagement, and the positive relationship between impulse buying and social commerce frequency.

  • This thesis determines the research framework and scale design of leisure food E-Commerce consumer satisfaction degree by referring to previous theoretical model of customer satisfaction degree, the universal satisfaction evaluation index system, and the characteristics of leisure food E-Commerce in China. In this research, consumers who have bought leisure food online are taken as the research object, data are collected by questionnaires, and exploratory factor method is used to screen valid sample data. Through the Empirical Analysis which includes Descriptive Statistical Analysis, Reliability and Validity Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling, it is concluded that website design, logistics delivery service, commodity quality, and after-sales service are the main service quality on which the Leisure food E-Commerce enterprises should take focus. The service quality has significant positive influences on satisfaction degree. On the other hand consumer satisfaction has a significant positive influence on customer loyalty, which will create more earnings for the Leisure food E-Commerce enterprises.
