As a viable alternative to magnetic transformers in the power supply for portable electronics, this paper presents a miniaturized off-line travel adapter or charger for cellular phones using the piezoelectric transformer. Various design considerations in the design of ac PT adapters are investigated before coming up with the proposed pseudo-resonant topology. A prototype hardware design is also presented and verified by simulations and experiments

In order to analyze the experience of women from the provinces settling in Seoul, the current study conducts in-depth interviews on seven women who are working in Seoul after coming up to Seoul to attend and graduate from university. The results of the interview were analyzed using grounded theory methodology, under which the open coding extracted one hundred ten concepts, twenty-one sub-categories, and eleven categories encompassing them all. Causal condition is 'difficulty of settling in Seoul' and contextual conditions are 'intensification of psychological anxiety', 'reduction in quality of life', and 'continuation of economic instability'. The central phenomenon is 'dilemma of continuing life in Seoul' and intervening condition is 'diagnosis of ten years after coming up to Seoul'. Action/interaction strategies are 'changes in personal life', 'securing economic abilities through a stable job', and 'finding ways to participate in the society', while the result was 'choosing whether to continue living in Seoul'. The paradigm of experience of women from the provinces settling in Seoul proceed from coming up to Seoul for university to becoming independent, adapting to life in the city, experiencing growth and failures, facing challenge and searching for solutions, and conducting self-evaluation and making new choices. The participants reported that they were aware of differences and experienced anxieties as a stranger in Seoul even after living in the city for ten years; the problems they face have become more complex and diverse since when they were in university, and while they launched a career and making money, the gap between them and their peers from Seoul has not closed. The women also express desperation that they may need to leave Seoul to find alternatives to problems caused by accumulated stress and social problems that cannot be solved by an individual. In conclusion, the current study confirmed that efforts by individuals can only have limited effects in helping women from the provinces to settle in Seoul, indicating that detailed policy plans are required to solve social issues in the overall Korean society.

Character fashion was already turned up in Egyptian age and nowadays was worn to everybody as regardless of ages, level and sex of people. This paper reviewed character fashion and animation character based on USA and Japan that is outstanding more coming up today and compared and analyzed with our country's situation. Usually, character fashion would give imagnation of products and companies themselves for aesthetic sense and can show possessive feeling and personality. And that mean fashion used by character like pictures and signals(that include words figures and special signals) and these fashion using by animation character was come out in 1929. In spite of third producer, Korea, back from USA and Japan about character fashion, we faced many problems. In order to solve these problems, we must make our own pure character that do not need to pay royalty and must spread marketing strategy with character fashion of more various designs. Therefore we should concentrate for raising high quality works and avoid uneconomic investment and plagiarism and finally we must expand recognition concerning character fashion.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the formative aesthetic of head accessory design in korean women. Coming to Chosen, women from the court ir the nobility were Jukui, Wonsam, Whalot, Dangui and so on and as for the hair-form in this era, there were a long trees of hair for single and Unzonmeri(By making a tree with hair and raised up roundly) and Jjokmeri(Doing one's hair up in a chignon on the back of one's head) for married, as for a wig for ceremony they used Daeshu(As a same with today's wig added various head accessory design), Kunmeri(Putting a big hair made with a tree of Dukuji on Ayemeri) and Ayemeri(A big hair made with Darae on the head) and as for an head accessory design, there were Biye, Ddelgam and Chupji, which hadn't regularly developed untill the era Chosun. As is known, coming to the era of Chosun, the widely and generally used Biye and Duykokii fitted well to the most usual Jjokmeri.

Biodiesel is one of the most important renewable energy, since it is one of the most important alternative and eco-friendly energy source compared to fossil energy, especially for diesel engineequipped vehicles. It is now coming up for preparation of biodiesel as the alternative that applies the hetrogeneous catalyst, super critical state and various methods used in order to reduce the stages of the processes be converted and separation stages started from oil and fat which are originated from animals and wastes, and those new methods bring eco-friendly as well, though some of those are stand on research step so far. It is necessary that nation provides the tax exemption program for the supplier and strengthen the research system for the farming crops relate to fat and oil. It can improve the development of biodiesel which sustains stability against oxidation and keeps good mobility over the low temperatures in the winter season by new additives and develops new processes to show good harmony with diesel engine.

The present world economic powers are divided into three major economic blocks such as EU, NAFTA and North - east Asian Region. In N-E Asian Region, Beijing. Seoul, Tokyo and Shanghai are already bridged economically forming transaction belt with the population of seven hundred million people around the belt. The countries as China, Mongol far - east Russia are rich in natural resources. on the other hand Korea and Japan are superior in technological know-how than that of communist and socialist countries. If we try to be eager to join together with the resource rich countries to the countries of technological know - how as Korea and Japan. The North - east Asian region will be jumping up to the most prosperous and super economic power in the coming years in 2040-2050.

With major sports events such as FIFA World Cup and The Olympic Games coming up, UHDTV technology has been given a major push by broadcasters, test and measurement (T&M), and consumer electronics (TV and set-top box) manufacturers. The increase in picture resolution ($3840{\times}2160$) for 4K and ($7680{\times}4320$) for 8K compared to current HDTV ($1920{\times}1080$), as well as the need to deliver these services in higher frame rates (50/60 up to 100/120fps) translate to a big challenge in UHDTV content delivery to households over terrestrial transmission due to higher data rates. DVB-T2 has been favored by many countries across the world as it is proven to give the best spectral efficiency for terrestrial broadcasting. On the other hand MPEG-4 appears to be the bottleneck for UHDTV since a much higher data rate is needed to deliver such services. Therefore HEVC becomes mandatory for UHDTV delivery over DVB-T2. In this paper, we will give an overview about a complete end-to-end solution for UHDTV delivery over DVB-T2 based on a realistic SFN scenario in Seoul metropolitan area.

From '1994 Gwacheon accident of the Electric Multiple Unit(EMU)' till '2004 Seoul subway 2 lines Guui station accident', the accident is increasing at day and the service demand of the citizen is coming to be various. But it does not deal with technical or operation side demands. There is a possibility of saying that the accident of the EMU or deficit operation is caused by the RCM. The EMU where the efficiency is good though does the time passes and it becomes old anger and does not display that efficiency not only the cause of formation accident does becomes. The breakdown about under occurring before getting up an accident, appropriately shifting the parts is to a maintenance very the pending question fact which is important is a possibility of doing. From there is by an EMU, RCM in reliability base grudge is a tool of confirms an improvement point and the place where it judges. From the research which it sees will present about technical development plan of RCM.

This study aims to investigate the eco-friendly planning methods for a sustainable apartment houses in the Metropolitan area of Seoul. Eco-friendly plans that considers the environmental issues were attempted from the beginning of 2000s, and since then, many apartment houses in Korea were built using this concept. They were, however, generally focusing on the physical and spatial aspects of the site plan. After the Seoul C40 weather summit conference in 2009, the low carbon green housing standard has been emphasized and thus the chemical concept was added to the existing physical planning methods. Under such a background, this study intends to investigate the eco-friendly plans for the apartment houses in the 2000s. This includes an ecological network plan, an ecological base plan, a building greening plan, a water treatment plan, and an energy saving plan. Based on the analysis and synthesis of these planning methods in the early 21st century, it would be possible to set up a proper future plan to enhance the sustainable built environment in the housing industry in the coming years.

Since the first direct detection of the gravitational waves in 2015, more than 50 events coming from the merging of compact binaries composed of black holes and neutron stars have been observed. The simultaneous detection of gravitational waves and electromagnetics waves from the merging of neutron stars opened up multi-messenger astronomy. The forthcoming observations with better sensitivity by the network of ground based detectors will enrich the gravitational wave source populations and provide valuable information regarding stellar evolution, dynamics of dense stellar systems, and star formation history across the cosmic time. The precision of the Hubble constant from the distance measurement of gravitational sources will improve with more binary neutron star events are observed together with the aftweglows. I will also briefly cover the expected scientiic outcomes from the future detectors that are sensitive to much lower frequenies than current detectors.
