최근 사용자 요구 사항의 증대로 기존 2계층 아키텍처 기반 시스템에서의 제약 요인을 개선한 다중 계층 아키텍처 기반의 시스템으로 전환하고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구의 목적은 기존 2계층 아키텍처 기반의 시스템과 다중 계층 아키텍처 기반의 시스템에 대한 비교 우위의 분석을 통하여 보다 나은 시스템을 도출하고, 도출된 시스템의 구현 방안을 모색하는 데에 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 2계층 아키텍처와 다중 계층 아키텍처의 구성 체계를 비교한 후 다중 계층 아키텍처의 비교 우위를 알 수 있었다. 또한 이의 구현을 위한 주요 개념인 COM+, 컴포넌트, 객체등을 분석하였으며, 다중 계층 아키텍처 기반 시스템의 클라이언트 시스템 계층, 비즈니스 계층을 구현하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

많은 지리자료에 대한 효율적이고 효과적인 검색 및 다양한 지리자료 데이터 포맷에 대한 데이터 변환에 드는 비용을 최소화하기 위해 지리자료의 공유, 즉 상호운용(Interoperability)에 대한 필요성이 제기되었으며 이를 위한 표준의 하나로 OpenGIS라는 표준이 만들어지고 있다. OpenGIS는 기존의 표준과는 다른 광범위하고 미래지향적인 특징으로 인해 실질적인 GIS 표준으로 자리잡아 가고 있는 실정이지만, 국내에서는 OpenGIS 구현명세에 대한 체계적인 연구 및 여러 GIS 서버를 대상으로 한 실제구현 사례가 거의 없는 실정이다. 이 논문에서는 컴포넌트 기반의 분산환경에 가장 근접해 있는 OpenGIS OLE/COM 구현명세에 대한 분석을 통해 Gothic, MGE, Oracle에 적용하기 위한 OGIS 데이터 제공자의 설계 및 이를 바탕으로 상호운용을 달성하기 위한 OpenGIS 미들웨어의 설계를 제시한다.

소프트웨어는 컴포넌트 기반으로 개발되어 가고 있다. 컴포넌트 기반의 시스템은 소프트웨어의 복잡해지고 다양한 요구사항에 대해 부품을 조림하듯 빠르게 대응할 수 있다. 이미 기존에 구축되어 있는 시스템을 이용한다면 새로운 시스템을 구축하는데 비즈니스 모델, 비즈니스 로직과 GUI를 재사용 할 수 있고 개발 기간은 매우 단축될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 MFC환경으로 구축되어 있는 기존 시스템을 COM 컴포넌트 모델로 변환하기 위한 변환 방법을 제시하고 그에 따른 소스코드의 재사용율을 측정하였다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 방법에 따른 컴포넌트 변환 방법은 신뢰성 있는 기존의 어플리케이션을 COM 컴포넌트 모델로 변환 시 매우 높은 재사용율을 보인다.

The complexity of newly developed protection algorithm and higher performance requested by the user makes the software embedded in the protective relay much harder to develop and maintain. The versatility of 32bit microprocessor and the availability of cheaper memory semiconductors introduced the fertile developing background for the protective relay developers. The use of component object model(COM) in the software developing process enables the developer to write much complex code in the easy and safe way and to maintain the code easily, too. And the aid of the COM library, the distributed computing environment will be expected to appear by the use of the COM programming model in the protective relay firmware program.

Customer reviews are one of the important sources for purchase decision makings in online stores. Online stores have tried to provide useful reviews in product pages to customers. To assess the usefulness of customer reviews before other users have voted enough on the reviews, diverse aspects of reviews were utilized in prevous studies. Style and semantic information were utilized in many studies. This study aims to test diverse alogrithms and datasets for identifying a proper classification method and threshold to classify useful reviews. In particular, most researches utilized ratio type helpfulness index as Amazon.com used. However, there is another type of usefulness index utilized in TripAdviser.com or Yelp.com, count type helpfulness index. There was no proper threshold to classify useful reviews yet for count type helpfulness index. This study used reivews and their usefulness votes on restaurnats from Yelp.com to devise diverse datasets and applied text mining approaches to classify useful reviews. Random Forest, SVM, and GLMNET showed the greater values of accuracy than other approaches.

nvst.com은 기업가, 상담자, 투자자를 위한 온라인 회합 장소로서 이들의 서비스와 투자 기회를 늘리고 서로에게 유리한 거래가 이루어지도록 하기 위해 만들어졌다. 현재 이 공동체에서 만들어져 nvst.com에서 이용할 수 있는 두개의 데이터베이스는 콘택트 데이터베이스(Contact Database)와 투자 기회 데이터베이스(Investment Opportunities Database)이다.

It is very difficult for students to understand "Computer System Architecture" written by M. Morris Mano only through theoretical education. This study has developed DigCom as a computer architecture practice kit to make it easier for students to understand computer operations. The practice kit operates in the same manner as the "simple computer" described in Computer System Architecture. The purpose of this study is to examine whether using DigCom is effective in improving learning outcomes. For the purpose, t-test and two-way ANOVA were used to determine if there is any difference in learning outcomes between the experimental group of students who used DigCom and the control group who took the course in a traditional setting without using DigCom. The main conclusions of the study are as follows: Students understand computer operations better when DigCom is used in class.

Web-based information services should be evaluated for accessibility and usability with various types of Internet Web-browsing devices, interacting with web information servers. A reliable ubiquitous Web information server, accessible and usable with a variety of Web-browsing devices (e.g. a full-browsing mobile phone), should be a unified center for personalized ubiquitous Web information services as well as for business models based on personalized advertisements. We studied an estimation of the accessibility and usability in Web interaction for personalized ubiquitous Web information services, as metrics for real-time estimation. We show empirical results based on implementation and experiments in Korea, Japan and China, using a test-bed Web site ('ktrip.net') and single-character Korean domain names (e.g. 김.net, 이.net, 박.net, 최.net, ㄱ.net, ㄴ.net ... ㅎ.net, ㅏ.net, ... ㅔ.net, ㄱ.com, ㄴ.com ... ㅎ.com).
