선글라스의 렌즈 색상 변화가 입체시에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Stereoscopic Vision According to Lens Color Change of Sunglasses)

  • Purpose. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of lens color of sunglasses on stereoacuity by experiment. Methods. We conducted a stereotaxic test using a RANDOM DOT with a polarizing lens at an examination distance of 40 cm in 100 men and women aged 20 to 60 years without any specific ocular disease. Then, seven kinds of PVC color film such as yellow, black, brown, red, purple, blue and green were put on the polarizing lens and the stereoscopic examination was carried out again. Results. When the lens color of the sunglasses is yellow, black, and brown, it affects less stereoscopic effect. However, red, purple, blue, and green have much influence on stereoscopic effect. Especially, the red and purple colors affected the stereoscopic vision. In blue and green, the effect of stereoscopic vision was different according to the people. Conclusions. Depending on the lens color of the sunglasses, stereoscopic vision is affected, which can cause problems in binocular vision. Therefore, when choosing sunglass lens color, many buyers need to pay attention.

  • This paper introduces a vehicle-following-system in which a moving vehicle recognizes the front vehicle's tail-light color and luminance, while maintaining a certain distance and avoiding collision. Using color images rather than using gray-scale images makes it easier to detect the objective color and eliminates the need of a thresholding. The Methods used are RGB to HSV conversion and global region growing method. This paper contributes to the basic study of Color-Vision, and can be extended to color inspection systems.

  • 색각은 광 수용체인 3개 R. G. B cone의 파장흡수와 대립과정의 r-g, y-b 채널에 의해 이루어진다. 전기적 회로에 의한 색각 이상 mechanism은 photo cell, relay switch, transformer로 구성하였다. 추체(cone)의 R 또는 G가 결손 된 경우 y-b chromic valence 함수가 되고, 추체의 B가 결손 된 경우는 r-g chromic valence 함수가 되어 색각 이상 mechanism을 잘 적용된다.

Improving Visual Accessibility for Color Vision Deficiency Based on MPEG-21

  • In this paper, we propose a visual accessibility technique in an MPEG-21 framework. In particular, MPEG-21 visual accessibility for the colored-visual resource of a digital item is proposed to give better accessibility of color information to people with color vision deficiency (CVD). We propose an adaptation system for CVD as well as a description of CVD in MPEG-21. To verify the usefulness of the proposed method, computer simulations with CVD and color adaptation were performed. Furthermore, a statistical experiment was performed using volunteers with CVD in order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed visual accessibility technique in MPEG-21. Both the experimental and simulation results show that the proposed adaptations technique can provide better color information, particularly to people with CVD.

  • Wavelet transform used for content-based image retrieval has good performance in texture image. Image features for content-based image retrieval are color, texture, and shape. In this paper, we use color feature extracted from HSI color space known as most similar vision system to human vision system and texture feature extracted from wavelet histogram which has multiresolution property. Proposed method is compared with HSI color histogram method and wavelet histogram method. It is shown better performance.

  • In this paper, we prevent a display quality drop for image of characteristics brightness ununiformity depend on LED use to LED vision. It is about that method also a control system development equipped with brightness compensation function of LED vision which is done easily for LED set up of LED vision. Generally, It is calculate driving current value is attended by each brightness to brightness characteristics mathematical function establish by "Y=aX+b", When is doing brightness value for "Y", driving current value for "X", brightness compensation value by using time for "b", characteristics value for "a" ground with characteristics curve of LED. So much, First It is create brightness data of each pixel take a photograph red, green and blue of LED vision. Second It is get average error about each pixel which get average brightness value of entire. Last, It is handle a complicated for about gradationally regulation to color and brightness of image send to LED vision. Also It raise the whole average brightness value of vision adjust for "b" value to solve brightness drop problem of LED using the long time.

  • 색각이상자는 색을 인지하는 원추세포의 이상으로 인해 특정 색의 조합을 분별하는데 어려움을 겪는다. 이를 돕기 위해 스마트폰에는 색각이상자를 위한 색 보정 기능이 내장되어 있지만, 모니터에는 이러한 기능이 제공되고 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 모니터에 내장된 색 조절 기능을 이용하는 색 보정 기법을 제안하고, 이를 모니터에 구현하였다. 제안하는 색 보정 기법은 색각이상자의 색 인지 능력을 HSV 색 공간에서 분석한 것을 기반으로 색각이상의 종류와 강도에 따라 색조와 채도를 보정한다. 색각이상자들을 대상으로 진행한 성능 평가 결과는 제안하는 시스템이 색각이상자가 구분하기 어려운 색을 효과적으로 구분 가능하도록 변환함을 보여준다.

  • In this study, stereo vision system is applied to a mobile manipulator for effective tasks. The robot can recognize a target and compute the position of the target using a stereo vision system. While a monocular vision system needs properties such as geometric shape of a target, a stereo vision system enables the robot to find the position of a target without additional information. Many algorithms have been studied and developed for an object recognition. However, most of these approaches have a disadvantage of the complexity of computations and they are inadequate for real-time visual servoing. However, color information is useful for simple recognition in real-time visual servoing. In this paper, we refer to about object recognition using colors, stereo matching method, recovery of 3D space and the visual servoing.

This paper addresses object recognition using colors, stereo matching method to reduce its calculation time, recovery of 3D space and the visual servoing.

적록 색각 이상자를 위한 HSV색공간을 이용한 색변환 기법 (Re-coloring Methods using the HSV Color Space for people with the Red-green Color Vision Deficiency)

  • 본 논문에서는 적록색각 이상자를 위한 색 변환 알고리즘을 제안한다. 적록색각 이상자는 원추세포의 이상으로 인해 색상과 명도를 일반인과 다르게 인지하기 때문에 적색과 녹색의 구분에 어려움을 겪는다. HSV 색공간은 이러한 특성을 파악할 수 있는 인간의 색지각과 유사한 색 공간으로, 제안하는 방법에서는 HSV 색 공간에서 색상과 명도를 보정하여 색을 변환 한다. 이때 색상과 명도 보정정도는 개개인의 색각이상 심각도에 따라 다르게 결정된다. 색각 이상자 개개인에 따라 다른 보정정도를 적용함으로서 기존 이미지의 자연스러움은 유지 하고 구분하기 힘들었던 색상들도 구분 가능하게 변환된다. 제안하는 방법을 색각 이상자에게 적용하여 시뮬레이션으로 확인한 결과, 색각 이상자가 구분하기 힘든 색상들이 색상의 자연스러움을 유지하면도 색차를 인지할 수 있는 색으로 변환되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
