Goniometric Image Analysis of Observed Color Change in Dyed Trilobal Cross-section Polyester Monofilament Fabrics

  • The cross-section of the polyester filament yarn has been modified to have a variety of shape for aesthetic, added functions and sensitivities, and other purposes. Transparent polyester filament of trilobal cross-section has unique optical properties with high anisotropic reflectivity and transmissivity. The monofilament yarns may be utilized to impart to the fabrics lustrous appearance along with unique color change in case differently dyed yarns are woven together. The color changes of the fabric specimens according to the changes in observation and lighting conditions were analyzed using a CCD camera and an image analysis software. The changes of color/luster of the fabric specimens were measured and analyzed based on RGB, $L^*a^*b^*,\;L^*C^*h,$ and the color distribution within a three-dimensional color space.

  • OpenGL을 이용하여 PC환경에서 3차원 탄성파 자료를 쉽게 시각화하고 분석할 수 있는 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 기본적인 시각화 기능으로서 3차원 자료를 볼륨과 단면으로 도시할 수 있게 하였으며, 자료의 색 분포를 쉽게 결정할 수 있는 인터페이스를 제작하였다. 색은 RGB나 HSV형식으로 표현할 수 있게 하였으며 투명도를 지정할 수 있으므로 여러 자료를 중첩하여 도시하는 것이 가능하다. 자료 분석 기능의 하나로서 유도 피킹 방법을 이용하여 층준을 발췌할 수 있으며, 발췌된 층준은 점, 망, 면 등으로 도시하여 3차원적으로 분석할 수 있다.

변형된 칼라 코렐로그램을 이용한 영상검색 (Image Retrieval using Modified Color Correlogram)

  • 본 논문에서는 변형된 칼라 코렐로그램(Color Correlogram)을 이용한 영상검색 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 영상 내의 같은 칼라를 가지는 영역의 크기 변화에 강인하게 영상을 검색하기 위해, 영상에서 얻어진 칼라 코렐로그램의 오토-코렐로그램(auto-correlogram)과 크로스-코렐로그램(cross-correlogram) 영역을 각각 정규화하여 변형된 칼라 코렐로그램을 얻는다. 그리고 영상검색을 위한 유사도 측정시, 오토-코렐로그램에 가중치를 크로스-코렐로그램 영역보다 작게 준다. 제안한 방법은 칼라 코렐로그램의 정보를 효과적으로 사용함으로써, 영상검색 성능을 높일 수 있다. 실험을 통해 제안한 방법이 기존의 칼라 코렐로그램을 이용한 방법보다 효과적으로 영상을 검색할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

기층문화를 통한 한국복식의 색채 특성 연구 (The Characteristics of Color on Korean Costume by Basic Culture)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine a unique characteristic of the colors of the costumes in Korean basic culture in the aim of seeking the characteristics and the conceptual meanings of colors found in the majority’s culture. The scope of the basic culture was divided into folk belief, folk game and folk play. Within these limits, the colors of the dress, accessories, instruments were extracted by comparing with the naked eye in NCS Color System. For the analysis of hue and tone, the secondary dimensional analysis using NCS color system and the three-dimensional analysis using the software, COLOR 3D Version 2.0, were done. The result of this investigation is that the colors of the costume in the Korean basic culture are white, gray and black of achromatic color and yellow, yellowish red and purplish blue. This confirms that the colors based on Five-elements color are becoming the basis too basic culture. And Arche-pattern, which is a characteristic commonly found in the Korean traditional society, was shown as a characteristic of color. The colors of the costumes in Korean basic culture are uniquely adopted by the Korean civilians according to their religious and philosophical living standard. This study is meaningful in seeking a root for the formation of their unique color culture.

한국 오프셋 인쇄산업에 적합한 CMS 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Color Proofing CMS Development for the KOREA Offset Printing Industry)

  • The CMS(color management system) software was to enable consistent color reproduction from original to reproduction. The CMS was to create RGB monitor and printer characterization profiles and then use the profiles for device independent color transformation. The implemented CMM(color management module) used the CIELAB color space for the profile connection. Various monitor characterization model was evaluated for proper color transformation. To construct output device profile, SLI(sequential linear interpolation) method was used for the color conversion from CMYK device color to device independent CIELAB color space and tetrahedral interpolation method was used for backward transformation. UCR(under color removal) based black generation algorithm was used to construct CIELAB to CMYK LUT(lookup table). When transforming the CIE Lab colour space to CMYK, it was possible to involve the gray revision method regularized in the brightness into colour transformation process and optimize the colour transformation by black generation method based on UCR technique. For soft copy colour proofing, evaluating several monitor specialism methods showed that LUT algorithm was useful. And it was possible to simplify colour gamut mapping by constructing both the look-up table and the colour gamut mapping algorithm to a reference table.

치과용 모형재 색상에 따른 디지털 모형의 체적 안정성 연구 (The study on the dimensional stability of digitized dental stone replicas according to difference color of gypsum materials)

  • Purpose: The aim of study was to compare the dimensional stability of digitized dental stone replica using different color of gypsum materials using a white light scanner with three-dimensional software. Methods: A master model(500B-1, Nissin dental product, Japan) with the prepared lower full arch tooth was used. Several type IV stones(white, yellow, green) were used for 30 stone casts(10 casts each) duplicated a master model of mandible. The master model and the replicas were digitized with the non-contacting white light scanner to create 3-dimensional digital models. The linear distance between the reference points were measured and analyzed on the Delcam Copycad$^{(R)}$(Delcam plc, UK) 3D graphic software. One-way analysis of variance(ANOVA) combined with a Tukey multiple-range test were used to analysis the data(${\alpha}$=0.05). Results: There were considerable differences in mean values between gypsum materials within each color(white, yellow, green), and this difference was statistically significant, p=0.001. Conclusion: Digitization of dental materials on optical scanner was affected by color. Three different color of gypsum materials showed clinically acceptable accuracies of full arch digital model produced by them. Besides, these results will have to be confirmed in further clinical studies.

남·여 등산객의 등산복 색채 선호 비교 연구 (Color Preference Study for Mountain-Climbing Wear According to Gender)

  • This paper aims to identify the similarities and differences of color preference for mountain climbing wear according to gender, season and item. Total of 749 photos of mountain climbers were taken in 2009 during weekends in May and October at two mountains in Seoul. In order to analyze color by hue and tone, all the data were digitalized using Photoshop and converted to HV/C by using the Munsell Conversion software. For the purpose of data analysis, 13 colors of hue, including 10 base colors of the Munsel color system plus white, gray and black, and 12 tones of PCCS were grouped into 5 groups according to close distance. Jumper, t-shirts, vest and pants were selected as the 4 item categories. Results showed that there were clear differences in color preference based on gender. Women, with a preference for red, reddish purple, black, purple and blue, displayed wider range of choices in color as compared to men, who preferred black and blue color throughout all seasons. Yellow, green, and greenish blue were less preferred by both men and women. For pants, black represented over 90% as the main color for both genders. Overall, men preferred dark tones and women preferred vivid and bright tones. Moreover, there were less distinct differences in color preference according to season and item.

이색 사출성형기 개발을 위한 유압시스템의 특성 검토 (Characteristics Analysis of the Fluid Power System for a Double-color Injection Molding Machine Development)

  • Double-color Injection molding machine is the assembly of many kinds of mechanical, fluid power part and electric electronic control system. From in these, fluid power is a part where becomes the first core of this machine. Fluid power systems of double-color injection molding machine are modelled and analyzed using a commercial program AMESim. Partial system models which is divided according to functional operation are made and its analysis results shows how design parameters work on operational characteristics like pressure, flow rates, displacement at each node and so on. Analysis modeling and compared the data which gets from experiment and the analysis result which has a reliability got data. The results made by analysis will be used design of fluid power circuit for developing a double-color injection molding machine.

  • This research has for its object to look carefully into the peculiarity of the color of the costume in the Korean culture by revealing the characteristic and the idea of the color being discovered in the Korean basic culture, which has the majority of the Korean people. Multi-Color Chip-LED용 어레이 렌즈 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of Array-Lens for Multi-Color Chip-LED)

  • The purpose of this research is to enhance the luminance of the LED and to improve the implementation of color by mounting an array lens on the LED without special technology in process. The workmanship of key components considering the economical efficiency and the injection molding technology for high quality of the product are essential to achieve it. In this paper, the mold was computer-aided was designed and manufactured by CAM software (NX4) and high speed machining center. the applied final machining conditions were 3,000-5,000mm/min feed speed, 15,000-25,000rpm and ${\Phi}0.3mm$ ball end-mill. And the Flow analysis was performed using the mold flow software(MPI) in order to get uniformity of resin. Injection conditions acquired by the flow analysis and the injection experiment are as follows. The cylinder temperature is $220-260^{\circ}C$, the mold temperature is $70-80^{\circ}C$, the injection time is about 1.2sec, the injection pressure and velocity is each 7.8-14.7Mpa, and the injection velocity is 0.8-1.2m/sec.
