The purpose of this study is to analyze design characteristics of Chanel bags by its type and shape, material, color, pattern, decorations in order to give information about foundation of the development of Korean fashion brand handbags and help suggest predict future handbag trends. The methods of this study are documentary research and demonstrative research. For the documentary research, mainly previous researches and fashion related data were used. For the demonstrative research, the total of 288 design photos of Chanel bag were selected from 2001 S/S season to 2008 F/W season fashion collections of firstview.com., style.com., and mode et mode. The results of this study are as follows; First, type and shape of bags are clutch(30%), flap(25%), shoulder(25%), others(10%), tote(5%), hobo(5%). Second, the material data shows that leather(46%), mixed(18%), fabric(17%), synthetics (10%), patent(3%), others(3%), and suede(2%). Third, the patterns are geometrical(27%), solid(25%), combination(24%), symbolic(11%), abstract(11%), nature(2%). Fourth, the colors are largely monochrome(73%) and multicolor(27%). In case of monochrome, achromatic color(50%) is more than chromatic color(23%). The chromatic color is consisted of YR(9%), Y(9%), R(5%), RP(4%), PB(2%), P(1%), GY(0.5%), BG(0.5%). The multicolor is consisted of similar coloration(12%), contrast coloration(10%), and accent coloration(5%). Fifth, the decoration data shows that metallic(53%), plain(23%), combination(22%), and handcrafted(1%).

This study's purpose is to, first survey the traditional children clothing, clothing which doesn't get studied mostly. Second, to choose the factor that can modernize. Third, to design the present one-piece dress. Fourth, to gather an understanding about traditional children clothing and make a chance for children to wear the clothing that has a traditional factor. Traditional children clothes have a same shape with adults' clothes they use five primary color and use a pattern of a symbolic meaning which means healthy and long life. For ordinary wears there are Chimajogori and Bajijogori and for ceremonial dresses they wore Durumagi, Sagyusam which are Po and Dangui and headdress was added. The shape was considered by the children growth condition so the Gorum got longer. The dragon, cicadas, butterfly, phoenix and lots of flower pattern was used by the difference with the class. 5 one-piece design adapted Jogori, skirt, Dangui, Sagyusam, Magoja and used the traditional fabric by mixing the five primary color and the five secondary color was used to make traditional color. This study expects for a chance of children to wear traditional Hanbok or Hanbok-adapted clothes.

The mainstay of current image recovery frameworks is Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR). The most distinctive retrieval method involves the submission of an image query, after which the system extracts visual characteristics such as shape, color, and texture from the images. Most of the techniques use RGB color space to extract and classify images as it is the default color space of the images when those techniques fail to change the color space of the images. To determine the most effective color space for retrieving images, this research discusses the transformation of RGB to different color spaces, feature extraction, and usage of Convolutional Neural Networks for retrieval.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the hat fashion worn by the British royal family. The research range has been limited to hats which Elizabeth II, Camilla Parker Bowles, and Kate Middleton wore from April 29, 2011 to April 11, 2014 when Kate Middleton married Windsor Prince William and became part of the royal family. The methods of the research were: previous studies and literature about the royal family were referred to, the function and types of hats were considered, and then the plasticity of the designs seen in hat fashion of the royal family were analyzed. The results are as follows: first, the shape of the hats of the British royal family: Three-dimensional shapes(84.2%) were the most frequent, the detailed shape of the hat Canotier(33.5%), Boater(12.7%) and Bowler(10.3%) had greater frequency. Second, the color of the hats were W(13.7%), Bk(10.5%), Y(9.8%), B(9.6%), YR/PB(9.4%) and RP(9.2%) color. The Color Combination is the Monochrome Color(62.3%), Analogous Color(16.1%), Accent Color(13.2%) and Complementary Color(8.4%) were most frequent. Third, the material of the hats were Felt(44.5%) and Straw(40.3%) were used most frequently. Finally, the decoration of hats were: Flowers(25.7%), String(25.0%), Ribbon(18.4%) and Feathers(17.9%) were the most common. This study can be utilized as basic data for effective styling and design ideas in the field of total fashion.

컴퓨터 기반의 영상 데이터베이스의 급격한 증가에 따라 영상 정보를 관리할 수 있는 시스템의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 영상분할 알고리즘에 Active Contour, 칼라 특징으로 칼라 오토코렐로그램(Color Autocorrelogram), 질감 특징으로 CWT(Complex Wavelet Transform), 그리고 형태 특징으로 Hu 불변모멘트를 선택하여 이들을 효율적으로 추출하고 결합한 영역기반 다중 특징 영상검색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 칼라 오토코렐로 그램은 영상의 H(Hue), S(Saturation) 성분으로부터 추출 하였고, 질감 특징과 형태 및 위치 특징은 V(Value) 성분으로부터 추출하였다. 효율적인 유사도 측정을 위해 추출된 특징(오토코렐로그램, Hu 불변 모멘트, CWT 모멘트)을 결합하여 정확도와 재현율을 측정하였다. Corel DB 및 VisTex DB에 대한 실험 결과, 제안된 영상검색 알고리즘은 94.8%의 정확도와 90.7%의 재현율을 가지며 성공적으로 영상검색 시스템에 응용할 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 color, texture, shape의 정보를 통합 이용하여 내용기반 영상검색 시스템의 성능을 향상시키는 기법을 고찰하였다. 먼저 영상에 내재되어 있는 color를 분석 추출하여 몇 개의 대표색으로 요약 표현한 다음, 이를 활용한 근사치 측정도를 고안하였다. Texture정보 분석에 있어서는 영상의 주축 행렬 데이터를 통계적 접근 방법으로 추출하였다. Edge분석의 방법으로는 Edge 막대그래프에서 색상변환, 양자화, 필터링에 관련된 정보를 선행처리 후 Edge 정보를 추출하였다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 결과인 내용기반 영상검색 시스템의 효율성을 precision-recall 분석과 실험적 결과를 통하여 입증하였다.

본 논문은 IPTV에서 방영되는 디지털 콘텐츠에서 검색하고자 하는 컷의 위치 정보를 검색하는데, 이때 색 분포에 관한 특징 정보를 이용한 FE-CBIRS을 제안한다. 기존 CBIRS에서는 색상과 모양에 대한 정보를 추출하여 이미지를 구분하는 특징정보로써 활용하며, 이미지를 세그멘테이션 처리하여 얻은 부분영역 특징정보를 전체 이미지의 특징정보와 함께 사용하여 검색하는 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 적용되는 색상 특징 정보의 경우 색상, 채도, 명도의 각각에 대한 평균, 표준편차, 왜도를 사용하며 부분영역을 특징정보로 적용하는 경우 대표색상만을 사용한다. 아울러 모양특징정보의 경우 추출된 부분영역들에 대한 불변 모멘트가 주요하게 사용된다. 이로 인한 처리시간의 문제, 정확성의 문제가 제기되어 왔다. 그러나 본 논문에서 제시하는 방법에서는 추출된 색상 특징정보들을 클래스별로 구분하여 인덱싱 하고 검색 시 비교대상 이미지를 해당 컷에 한정하여 적용하므로서 검색속도를 향상시키도록 하였다.

The shape and location of the cutoff shield in a projection-type headlight system were optimized by a ray-tracing technique. A shield based on a Petsval surface showed better cutoff characteristics than a flat or cylindrical shield, such as a sharp intensity gradient and less color separation at the cutoff line. Adjustment of the shield’s location between the reflector and the aspheric lens further improved its cutoff characteristics.

본 논문에서는 칼라 영상 검색을 위한 특징으로서 칼라 정보와 모양 정보를 고려하는 복합적인 특징벡터를 사용한 영상 검색 기법을 제안하였다. 비균둥 양자화 방법인 Lloyd-Max quantizer를 통한 효율적인 칼라 양자화를 하였고, 양자화를 거친 후 생성된 칼라 그룹간의 공간적 분포상황을 고려하기 위해 히스토그램 행렬을 도입함으로써 칼라 정보를 기반으로한 검색 효율을 증대시켰다. 또한 모양 정보를 획득하기 위해 향상된 불변 모멘트를 사용함으로써 연산량을 줄이면서, 검색 효율을 증대시켰다. 영상으로 200여개의 칼라 트레이드마크를 사용하여 기존의 방법들과의 비교실험을 통해 원영상 뿐만 아니라 변형된 영상에 대해서 보다 향상된 검색 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 즉, 영상내의 물체의 회전, 이동, 잡음 첨가와 감마 보정값 등에 의해 변형된 영상에 대해서 보다 더 강한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

The purpose of research will establish the foundation to enhance the skills of Railway Color Design in the future by accurately analysing the Railway Color characteristics. The emotion and demnds of times influences trend of Railway Color Design, the contents of this research also reflects trend in society and culture. The research contains the history of Railway Design and advance research of Railway Color trend especially influenced by society and culture in the from the 1960's to the year 2005. The study is based on the concept of Railway Color Design. it analyzed the related current of society, culture and Railway Color. Collected Railway Color samples(Railway 46 images) were studied by using visual sensation. The Munsell Color System was used as references. This research analyzed railway introduced as railway models by top 4 nation (United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan) and Korea in the past years(1960-2005) for their Railway Color Design trend by Munsell Color System. Although the Railway industry has rapidly risen according to life style in society and culture, there has been a lack of organized data for Railway Color Planing. this research on the basis will offer the significant information for Railway Color Design.
