  • Some cirnoids collected by scuba divers from Jeju Island are identified. Of which two species, Cyllometra manca(Carpenter, 1888) and Decametra tigrina (A. H. Clark,1907) belonging to the family colobometridae and order Comantulida, turned out to be new to the Korean fauna. The Colobometridae is reported in Korea for the first time.

  • Some crinoids collected by scuba divers from Jeju Island, Geomundo Island and Yokjido Island were identified. Of which two species, Oligometra chinensis A. H. Clark, 1918 belonging to the family Colobometridae and Neometra multicolor (A. H. Clark, 1907) belonging to the family Calometridae, order Comantulida, turned out to be new to the Korean fauna. The Calometridae was reported in Korea for the first time.

  • Taxonomic study for the comatulid crinoids collected from the Korea Strait and Jeju Island was conducted. Two species of comatulids, Captoptometra rubroflava belongs to the family Zygometridae and Gephyrometra versicolor belongs to the family Calometridae, were identified and both of them were turned out to be new to the Korean fauna. The family Zygometridae is newly reported in Korea.
