  • In recent times, education facilities for children have focused on the importance of the "living environment" of children. This is because children have a more sensitive response than adults in their lives. All of the field activities, body movement, and play they go through in their living environment exhibit a great educational effect while promoting their emotional, physical, and mental development; therefore, these are the main priority factors in planning an education facility for children. A space may be deemed to be created by the relationship between objects and the people who perceive them. Also, space cognition may be defined to be made of the perception of a space, integration with experience, and restructuring. Physical factors and visual factors, which are the basic factors composing a space, either play their roles as independent variables in a space or form a relationship through a combination between the factors; thereby, diverse types of space experiences may be created. Space experience may be realized through the "movements" of a user, and a user selectively experiences a space through his/her voluntary movements, while experiencing the space against their will through flexible movements. In particular, space experience through movements has an effect on children in terms of making them feel like having daily exploration, and it also has a positive effect on education. A movement space in which "movements" appear most strongly in an education facility for children connects various nearby spaces, and it also portrays a transfer role. Furthermore, in this space, a variety of space changes can be found; thereby, children are able to have diverse selective space experiences.

  • The centennial of Alan Mathison Turing(23 June 1912 - 7 June 1954) is an appropriate occasion on which to assess his profound influence on the development of cognitive science. His contributions to and attitudes toward that field are discussed from the metamathematical perspective. This essay addresses (i)Turing's mathematical analysis of cognition, (ii)universal Turing machines, (iii)the limitations of universal Turing machines, (iv)oracle Turing machine beyond universal Turing machine, and (v)Turing test for cognitive science. Turing was a ground-breaker, eager to move on to new fields. He actually opened wider the scientific windows to the mind. The results show that first, by means of mathematical logic Turing discovered a new bridge between the mind and the physical world. Second, Turing gave a new formal analysis of operations of the mind. Third, Turing investigated oracle Turing machines and connectionist network machines as new models of minds beyond the limitations of his own universal machines. This paper explores why the cognitive scientist would be ever expecting a new Turing Test on the shoulder of Alan Turing.

  • This study examines the characteristics of Korean journalism ethics as job ideology by analyzing the specific conditions revealed in the historical process of the construction of Korean journalism ethics, focusing on the change of social relationships which intervene in the construction of journalism ethics. By this interpretation, this study proposes the desirable directions in journalism ethics discussion and practice strategies in the journalism field. Therefore this study analyzed the historical process and the development phase of discourse in journalism ethics in which the job position of Korean journalists have changed. In result, this study found that the discourse of Korean was used for the instrumental and rhetorical means to cope with the outside pressure in the lack of occupational self-control which becomes the premise of ethics. Because of this, the Korean journalism ethics characterize the rhetorical feature of ethical code, the structured separation of practice from cognition, the conceptual confusion of responsibility from ethics.

  • Purpose: In this study, we revealed the influence of customer buying factors in the purchase process of eco-friendly product. Especially, we focused on the information acquisition, alternative evaluation, and after-purchase activity process based on Korea-China customer's survey. Methods: In the information acquisition process, we investigate the channels of information acquisition about eco-friendly product, a reliability of information, and an impediment of acquiring product information. At the stage of alternative evaluation, we extract various causes that affects pre-purchasing process and perform the AHP analysis to identify critical causes. At last, we compare several factors which affects before and after purchasing process. Results: Especially, an average utilization and cognition score of eco-friendly products of Chinese consumers is higher than Korean consumers' score. In addition, critical buying factors of Korean consumers are a product quality, an evaluation of existing users. However, that of Chinese consumers are safety of products and environmental benefits of products. Conclusion: In recent years, as the rapid economic development of China, environment pollutions like heavy smog and yellow dust have been occurred frequently. In that manner, Chinese consumer's environmental consciousness is rapidly increasing; not only try to be active participant in eco-friendly activities, but also eco-friendly purchasing activities. In addition, Chinese consumers recognize eco-friendly products as good products made with advanced technology.

  • For efficient predictive analysis, self-healing research is needed that enables the system to recover autonomously by self-cognition and diagnosing system problems. However, software development does not provide formal contextual information analysis and appropriate presentation structure according to external situation. In this paper, we propose a prediction analysis method based on the change contents by applying the extraction rule to the functions that can act, data, and transaction based on the new Goal-scenario. We also evaluated how well the predictive analysis met through the performance indicators for achieving the requirements goal. Compared with the existing methods, the proposed method has a maximum 32.8% higher matching result through performance measurement, resulting in a 28.9% error rate and a 45.8% reduction in the change code. This shows that it can be processed into a serviceable form through rules, and it shows that performance can be expanded through predictive analysis of changes.

  • Although education on information technology ethics is increasingly being reinforced in elementary and middle schools, immoral and illegal behaviors online are not showing any sign of decrease. Because cognition- based education fails to lead students' practice on what they learned. Therefore, this study proposes a teaching- learning model integrating cognitive, affective and conative dimensions which had been developed on the elementary students' practice of information technology ethics. We verified the effect of achievement and practice through application this model to the school. To raise reliability we analysed the result of learning such as observation, analysis video data, homepage etc., and interview.

  • Purpose: Foot and ankle disease (FAD) is a frequent cause of morbidity among the homeless population. Various conditions, exacerbated by malnutrition, poor lifestyle habits, psychiatric disorders, physical injuries, poor hygiene, and limited access to healthcare, have been described in this population. The purpose of this study was to investigate the cognition and management status of FAD in shelter based homeless people. Materials and Methods: Fifty-two male and twenty-five female volunteer homeless individuals were recruited from two homeless shelters. Each person completed a questionnaire assessing any presence of pain, pain management, as well as foot and ankle care status. A foot and ankle surgeon examined the physical status of the individual's foot and ankle, including tenderness and instability. A radiologic evaluation was done for 18 male and 11 female homeless people who agreed to participate in this test for the existence osteophyte or joint space narrowing representing osteoarthritis and some reference angles for hallux valgus, flatfoot and cavus foot. Results: Homeless people had higher prevalence of body mass index, diabetes, and smoking than the general population. The most prevalent infectious disease was fungal infection (male 78%, female 68%), with a low compliance of management for FAD. Conclusion: Although most of shelter-based homeless people showed an acceptable foot and ankle management status, the potential risk for FAD development and exacerbation of mild FAD was high.
