  • We propose a new curvature-compensated CMOS bandgap reference circuit that is achieved by varying a current ratio. The proposed circuit is shown to have small temperature coefficient that the output voltage variation is 0.4mV.

철도차량 현가특성의 최적설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimum Design of Railway Vehicle Suspension Characteristics)

  • In this study, the most important suspension characteristics of railway vehicle, such as primary and secondary stiffness, are optimized to maximize ride qualify. Critical speed, secondary suspension stroke oil tangent track and derailment coefficient on the maximum curvature, are selected as the performance constraints. Piecewise linear curving model is used to evaluate derailment coefficient where it is assumed that wheel/rail contacts occurs at tread or at idealized flange. The combined design procedure is used to optimize above design variables at the same time.

FLOW-3D를 이용한 다양한 곡률에 대한 횡월류 위어의 유량계수 산정 (Discharge Coefficient of Side Weir for Various Curvatures Simulated by FLOW-3D)

  • 본 연구는 수치모형을 이용하여 만곡수로 외측에 설치된 횡월류 위어의 곡률반경에 대한 횡월류 유량계수를 분석한 연구이다. 곡률반경의 변화에 따른 만곡부의 중심각이 $180^{\circ}$인 수로모형을 설계하였으며, FLOW-3D모형에 적용하여 유량계수를 산정하고 직선 수로와 비교하는 방법으로 유량계수의 특성을 분석하였다. 모형의 적용성 검증을 위해 기존에 연구되었던 수리실험과 동일한 조건의 수치모의를 수행하였다. 하폭(b)을 고정시키고 곡률반경($R_c$)을 변화시킴으로써 $R_c/b$의 변화에 따른 유량계수($C_M$)의 변화를 분석하고, 만곡수로의 월류량($Q_{wc}$)에 대한 직선수로의 월류량($Q_{wc}$)의 비를 분석하였다. 분석결과 유량계수는 상류수심, 만곡수로의 곡률반경의 변화에 따라 유량계수는 변화하였으며, 직선과 만곡수로에 대해 분석을 수행하였기 때문에 직선수로의 영향인자를 이용하여 만곡수로에 설치된 횡월류 위어의 월류량과 유량계수를 추정 가능 할 것이라 판단된다.

곡률 변화형 테이피를 이용한 도파관-마이크로스트립 트랜지션 (A Waveguide-Microstrip Transition using Curvature Variable Taper)

  • A curvature variable taper is proposed for a waveguide-microstrip transition. It is applied to a ridge waveguide. The curvature depends on the taper length and difference of waveguide's height and microstrip substrate's height. The taper is manufactured easier than the other tapers. It's reflection coefficient is smaller than the parabolic taper's below one wavelengrh. The results of experiment show that S$_{11}$ is below -20dB and SS$_{21}$ is about -0.5dB in the band of 10~15 GHz. These results are good agreement with the theoritical values.

  • 미사일 탄두의 정확한 제어를 위하여, 로켓 모터의 구조 및 유체/열역학적 안정성이 절대적으로 필요하다. 특히, 유도탄의 초기 선회형 로켓 모터는 작동 시간이 짧음에도 불구하고, 고온 고압에서 작동되기 때문에 노즐 목 부근에서는 삭마(削磨, Ablation)가 일어나 유동자체의 불안정이 발생하고, 열 및 기계적 응력 때문에 시스템 자체가 파국에 이르는 경우가 종종 발생한다. 이와 관련, 본 연구에서는 열응력(Thermal stress) 및 삭마는 유동 연소 가스로부터 노즐 재료로의 전열량과 재료 내부의 온도 차이에 기인된다는 판단에 따라 로켓 모터의 작동시간이 노즐 벽면 열전달 계수에 미치는 영향을 수치적으로 해석하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다. 그 결과, 노즐 벽면 열전달 계수는 노즐 목 바로 직전에서 가장 크게 되고, 로켓 모터의 작동 시간이 길어질수록 열전달 계수는 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 또, 노즐 목의 곡률반경이 작을수록, 최대 열전달 계수가 크게 되는 것으로 나타났다.

모바일 폰 카메라 패키지의 다이 본딩 에폭시가 Warpage와 광학성능에 미치는 영향 분석 (Effect of Die Bonding Epoxy on the Warpage and Optical Performance of Mobile Phone Camera Packages)

  • The warpage on mobile phone camera packages occurs due to the CTE(Coefficient of Thermal Expansion) mismatch between a thin silicon die and a substrate. The warpage in the optical instruments such as camera module has an effect on the field curvature, which is one of the factors degrading the optical performance and the product yield. In this paper, we studied the effect of die bonding epoxy on the package and optical performance of mobile phone camera packages. We calculated the warpages of camera module packages by using a finite element analysis, and their shapes were in good agreement showing parabolic curvature. We also measured the warpages and through-focus MTF of camera module specimens with experiments. The warpage was improved on an epoxy with low elastic modulus at both finite element analysis and experiment results, and the MTF performance increased accordingly. The results show that die bonding epoxy affects the warpage generated on the image sensor during the packaging process, and this warpage eventually affects the optical performance associated with the field curvature.

축대칭 정수압 벌징의 유한요소 해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Axisymmetric Hydrostatic Bulging)

  • This paper examined strain distribution and radius of curvature of the bulge by finite element method and investigated limit polar thickness strain to predict the formability of sheet metal as we substituted effective strain and the radius of curvature obtained by FEM into instability condition equation successively. In experiment, the radius of curvature and limit polar thickness strainwere obtained by Moire method. Also, a concent- ric set of photogrid circles was used to measure the strain of arbitrary point and mild steel was used as material. This results obtained are as follows: 1) The radius of curvature obtained by FEM is in good agreement with the Moire experimental value. 2) The polar thickness strain is getting larger as the inside is approached from the edge. This means that fracture occurred near the ploe. 3) The circumferential strains agree closely with the meridian strains and the polar thickness strain is about twice the circumferential (or meridian) strain. This result agrees with the fact that anisotropy coefficient (R-value) obtained by tensile test is about one. 4) The theoretical results of limit polar thickness strain obtained by authors' method are better agreement with experimental results than other theoretical results. Therefore, we can better predict the formability of sheet metal with authors' method.

  • Simple spanwise distribution models of deviation angle and pressure loss coefficient due to the tip leakage flow are formulated for use in association with the streamline curvature method as a flow analysis. Combining these new models with the previous deviation and loss models due to secondary flow, a robust streamline curvature method is established for flow analysis of single-stage, subsonic axial turbines with wide ranges of turning angle, aspect ratio and blading type. At the exit from rotor rows, the flow variables are mixed radially according to a spanwise transport equation. The proposed streamline curvature method is tested against a forced vortex type turbine as well as a free vortex type one. The results show that the spanwise variations of flow angle, axial velocity and loss coefficients at rotor exit are predicted with good accuracy, being comparable to a steady three-dimensional Navier-Stokes analysis. This simple and fast flow analysis is found to be very useful for the turbine design at the initial design phase.

  • The vibration of the dehydration process in a washing machine is important problem that affects the performance of products. In this paper, the upper structure of a washing machine is modeled as rigid body suspension system and, by numerical analysis, the amplitude of a spin basket and the transfer moment at a base plate are calculated. To examine the vibrational characteristics according to design variable change, the friction coefficient in anubber, the radius of curvature, the stiffness coefficient, initial length and locations of support springs are considered in the analysis. Experimental results are compared with those of analysis.

  • Industrial reducer is in general use to Deck Crane. High-precision and high-efficient reducer is minimized the power-loss and energy-loss of a machine. So it contribute the price reduction and life extension. Reducer is usually using the Planetary gear reducer. Planetary gear reducer is composed the sun gear, planet gear, internal gear and casing. Industrial reducer's wear and breakage have a short-life. To solve this problem, it is using the profile-shifted-gear or tooth modification. This study was carried out the effect of addendum modification coefficient on tooth fillet bending strength to planetary reducer. Tooth fillet bending stress is calculate. And all parameter were expressed the function of addendum modification coefficient. And then stress concentration factor of tooth fillet curve was express the function of addendum modification coefficient using comparison between theory and finite element analysis.
