NiCrAl 합금 폼의 안정성 향상을 위해 코팅된 Nb-doped TiO2의 효과 (The Effect of Nb-doped TiO2 Coating for Improving Stability of NiCrAl Alloy Foam)

  • Nb-doped $TiO_2$(NTO) coated NiCrAl alloy foam for hydrogen production is prepared using ultrasonic spray pyrolysis deposition(USPD) method. To optimize the size and distribution of NTO particles based on good physical and chemical stability, we synthesize particles by adjusting the weight ratio of the Nb precursor solution(5 wt%, 10 wt% and 15 wt%). The morphological, chemical bonding, and structural properties of the NTO coated NiCrAl alloy foam are investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD), X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy(XPS), and Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy(FESEM). As a result, the samples of controlled Nb weight ratio exhibit a common diffraction pattern at ${\sim}25.3^{\circ}$, corresponding to the(101) plane, and have chemical bonding(O-Nb=O) at 534 eV. The NTO particles with the optimum weight ratio of N (10 wt%) show a uniform distribution with a size of ~18.2-21.0 nm. In addition, they exhibit the highest corrosion resistance even in the electrochemical stability estimation. As a result, the introduction of NTO coated NiCrAl alloy foam by USPD improves the chemical stability of the NiCrAl alloy foam by protecting the direct electrochemical reaction between the foam and the electrolyte. Thus, the optimized NTO coating can be proposed for excellent protection of NiCrAl alloy foam for hydrocarbon-based steam methane reforming(SMR).

  • 1. 이탈리안 라이그라스의 코팅종자 제조시 접착제는 PVA가 유리하였으며 2~5% 내에서는 큰 차이가 없어 경제적으로 판단했을 경우에는 2%가 유리하다. 2. 탄산칼슘+탈크를 활용하여 종자 코팅하는 것이 천립중, 리터중이 높고 매끄럽게 성형되어 유리하였으며, pH와 EC가타 피복제에 비해 낮아 화학적으로 안전하였으며, 발아세, 평균발아속도가 높아 타 피복제에 비해 우수하였다. 3. 탄산칼슘+탈크를 무게에 따라 코팅하여 비교했을 시, 대조구에 비해 발아율, 발아세, 평균 발아 속도에서 초장 차이를 보이지 않았으며, 강도는 피복 재료와 종자와의 무게 비율 1:1과 그 이상 무게를 추가할 경우에는 차이를 보이지 않아 경제성을 고려하였을 때 1:1이 가장 유리하였다.

  • 폐윤활유 재생용 TiO2 한외여과막은 정밀영과용 지르코니아 복합막(즉, 복층담채) 및 알루미나 단층 담체(기공크기 0.1$mu extrm{m}$)상에 졸-겔 코팅법에 의하여 TiO2 분리막 층을 코팅하여 제조 하였다. TiO2 졸의 특성 분석을 통하여 봉입침지(sealed dip-coating) 및 가압 코팅(pressurized coating)법으로 결함이 없는 TiO2 복합막을 제조할 수 있는 코팅조건을 최적화 하였다. 합성 TiO2 한외여과막의 분리막층 두께는 1$\mu\textrm{m}$이하의 범위에서 조절되었으며,기공값을 보여주었으며 75$0^{\circ}C$까지 열처리하여도 80%정도의 용질배제율(기공크기 22.5nm)을 유지하는 점으로 봐서 고온 공정을 요하는 폐윤활유 재생막으로서 충분한 열적 안정성을 갖고 있었다.

소수성 CNT/PVDF 복합막에서 CNT의 분산과 전도성의 관계 (Relations Between Dispersion of CNTs and Electrical Conductivity in the Hydrophobic CNT/PVDF Composite Film)

  • In this paper, we investigated the relations between dispersion of CNTs (carbon nanotubes) and electrical conductivity in the CNT/PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) composite film. By adding hydrophobic CNTs as filler into the PVDF matrix, we fabricated hydrophobic and electrically conducting polymer coating film. Dispersion of CNTs in the CNT/PVDF composite film plays a significant role in terms of electrical conductivity and wetting property. Spray coating method was used to form the CNT/PVDF composite films by injecting the dispersed CNTs in the PVDF solution with different weight ratios from 0.7 wt% to 7 wt%. We investigated the electrical properties and contact angles of the CNT/PVDF composite films with the CNT concentration. Finally we discussed the conducting mechanism and feasibility of the CNT/PVDF composite film for the conducting polymer films.

아연도금 강판의 대기부식에 미치는 표면 거칠기의 영향 (Effects of Surface Roughness on Atmospheric Corrosion of Galvanized Steel Sheets)

  • The effects of surface roughness on chromate conversion coating and the corrosion behavior of galvanized steel sheets were investigated. Surface roughness was differently given to the galvanized steel sheets tested and these were then chromated. Accelerated corrosion test was conducted under the condition of $30^{\circ}C$, 90%RH with flowing 200ppm $SO_2$ gas. The galvanized steels were also exposed to urban environment for 5 weeks. The corrosion rates were measured by weight gain method. The distribution of chromate film and corrosion product on the coating were examined which SEM/EDS. The chromate film formed preferentially at the convex sites rather than at the concave sites on the surface. The corrosion products were found at the concave sites where the chromate film formed rarely. The corrosion product on the coating were found at the concave sites where the chromate film formed rarely. The corrosion rates increased slightly with the surface roughness in accelerated corrosion test but significantly in field test.

  • A study was conducted to evaluate the effect of enamel coating on boat hull drag. The results were compared with drag required for varnished uncoated boats. Models of rice barge and fishing boat were used in this study. The speed range of 0.6 to 1.5㎧ at different loads varying from 6 to 9 kg for rice barge and 4.6 to 6.4kg for fishing boats were used during testing. The total weight of the coated and uncoated boats were kept the same. It was observed that the drag force required by the coated boats was less than identical uncoated ones at all speeds and loads. For both uncoated and coated the drag required increased with speed. The maximum recorded reductions in drag were 26% for the rice barge and 28% for the fishing boat model.

바인더의 종류 및 배합비율이 잉크제트 인쇄특성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of the Type and Blending Ratio of Binders on Ink-jet Printing Properties)

  • In this paper, PVA(polyvinylalcohol), oxidized starch and SBR latex were used as binders for ink-jet printing papers, and their effects of the type and blending ratio of binders on ink-jet printing properties were compared. In case of coating color using PVA mainly used for a binder in ink-jet printing, spreading of printed letters decreased and excellent images were manifested resulting from strong hydrophilic of PVA. However, increasing solids content of coating color was somewhat limited because of the interaction of PVA and functional groups in silica as well as high molecular weight of PVA. When oxidized starch and SBR latex were mixed with PVA at desirable ratio to solve these problems, runnability in coating process was improved and good printing properties were shown. Gloss was improved when latex was used along with PVA as a binder because of the thermoplastic property of the latex. From this result, possibilities of high solids content and high gloss ink-jet printing papers were investigated.

탄소섬유 강화 복합재 가공용 드릴 공구 개발 및 홀 가공성 평가 (Development of a Drill Tool for CFRP Machining and Evaluation of Drilling Processing)

  • Carbon fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRPs) are extremely strong and light fiber-reinforced plastics containing carbon fibers. CFRPs can be expensive to produce, but are commonly used wherever high strength-to-weight ratio and rigidity are required, such as in the aerospace, automotive, and ship superstructure industries. In CFRP drilling, the tool performance greatly varies depending on the tool shapes, cutting conditions, and diamond coating. This study developed a new type of tungsten carbide drill with multi-blade edges to evaluate the surface quality of CFRP materials according to the coating thickness of diamond-coated drills. Experiments on tool wear, surface roughness, and burr formation were conducted. The bore exit quality of a 12 mμ -coated drill was better than that of a 6 mμ -coated drill. The superior effects of the 12 mμ -coated drill and the good surface quality of CFRP were also demonstrated.

자동차용 전기도금강재의 도금재착항별 품질생성 (Effect of Coating Weight of Electroplated Sheet Steels on Quality Performances for Automotive Body Panels)

  • Increasing demands of high corrosion resistant sheet steels for the automotive body panels have been leading to a tendency toward heavier coatings of electroplated sheet steels. The specimens were prepared from lab-scale electroplating simulator with various coating weights of zinc, zinc-iron and zinc-nickel coated sheet steels and evaluated in the light of the application for the automotive body panels. Corrosion resistances by sacrificial action were improved with increasing coating weights for all electroplated sheet under survey, but blistering resistances of pure zinc coated sheet steels were not as much. On the other hand, the adhesions of heavy alloy coatings showed poor powdering performances by the external compressive or tensile forces.

아연-니켈합금 전기도금층의 부식특성 (Corrsion of Ni-Ze Electrodeposited Alloy)

  • Corrosion behavior of 5-26wt% Ni-Zn electrodeposited alloys was investigated by means of dipping electrochmical polarization measurement and galvanic coupling test. The weight loss and anodic polarization curve of coatings were measured by means of dipping and polarization measurement respectively. The galvanic protection effect of alloy coatings was measured by galvanic coupling test and the surface morpholgy of coatings was observed after corrosion testing. Our findings support thous of previous investigations showing that ${\gamma}$single phase coatings, while galvanic pprotection effect of dual phase coatings improved in comparison with ${\gamma}$single phase coating. The formation of colony in coating of ${\gamma}$and η+${\gamma}$ dual phsae caused the localized corrsion and increased the corrosion rate of the Ni-Zn coating.
