One of the way to derive design parameters of the fuel feeding system in satellite propulsion system is to analyze unsteady flow of liquid propellant (hydrazine). During steady thruster firing the flow rate is constant: if a thruster valve is abruptly shut down among a set of thrusters, pressure spikes much higher than the initial tank pressure occur. This renders the fuel flow unsteady, and the fluid pressure and flow rate to oscillate. If the pressure spikes are high enough, there are possibilities that propellant explosively decomposes, thruster valves we damaged, and adiabatic detonation of the hydrazine propellant is potentially incurred. Reflected shockwaves could also affect the calibration and operation of the pressure transducers. These necessitate the analysis of unsteady flow in the propulsion system design, and pressure behavior inside the propellant line obtained through some governing parameter variation is presented in this work.

The effect of x wt% CuO-y wt% $V_2O_5$ content on the microwave properties of $(Pb_{0.45}Ca_{0.55})[(Fe_{0.5}Nb_{0.5})_{0.9}Sn_{0.1}]O_3$ (PCFNS) ceramics was investigated. In order to decrease the sintering temperature and use as a Low Temperature co-firing Ceramics (LTCC), CuO-$V_2O_5$ are added in the PCFNS. The bulk density, dielectric constant (${\varepsilon}_r$) and quality factor(Q${\cdot}f_0$) increased with increase in CuO content within a limited value. The microwave properties were degraded with increases in $V_2O_5$ content. The temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency (${\tau}_f$) of PCFNS was shifted to positive value abruptly with increasing the $V_2O_5$ content, while the ${\tau}_f$ was slightly shifted to positive value with increasing the CuO content. The optimized microwave properties, ${\varepsilon}_r$ = 88, Q${\cdot}f_0$ = 6100 (GHz), and ${\tau}_f$ = 18 ppm/$^{\circ}C$, were obtained in $(Pb_{0.45}Ca_{0.55})[(Fe_{0.5}Nb_{0.5})_{0.9}Sn_{0.1}]O_3$ with 0.2wt% CuO 0.05 wt% $V_2O_5$ and sintered at $1000^{\circ}C$ for 3 h. The relationship between the microstructure and microwave dielectric properties of ceramics was studied by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)

[ $(Ba_{0.9-x}Sr_xCa_{0.10})TiO_3$ ] (x=0.33, 0.36) powders were prepared by sol-gel method. $(Ba,Sr,Ca)TiO_3$(BSCT) thick films, undoped and doped with $MnCO_3$ and $Yb_2O_3(0.1{\sim}0.7mol%)$, were fabricated by the screen printing method on the alumina substrate. The coating and drying procedure was repeated 6-times. The Pt bottom electrode was screen printing method on the alumina substrate. These BSCT thick films were annealed at $1420^{\circ}C$ for 2 hr in atmosphere. The upper electrodes were fabricated by screen printing the Ag paste and then firing at $590^{\circ}C$ for 10 min. And then the structured and dielectric properties as a function of the doping amount of $Yb_2O_3$ were studied. As a result of the TG-DTA, exothermic peak was observed at around $670^{\circ}C$ due to the formation of the polycrystalline perovskite phase. All BSCT thick films showed XRD patterns of typical cubic peroveskite structure. The average thickness of BSCT thick films was about $70^{\mu}m$. The curie temperature and the dielectric constant decreased with increasing $Yb_2O_3$ doped content and the relative dielectric constant of the specimen, doped with 0.5 mol% $Yb_2O_3$ at BSCT(54/36/10), showed a best value of 5018 at curie temperature.
The effect of fly ash addition to the kaolin block has been investigated. The addition affected the firing temperature and physical properties such as water absorption and compressive strength. The starting materials were from korea natural resources and the fly ash were from the power plant using coal as fuel, containing free carbon of 8∼9 wt%. The starting natural materials were mixed with 5 different proportions of fly ash, pressed and then sintered at 1050, 1100, 1150 and 1200${\circ}C$. With sintering temperature, water absorption decreased and compressive strength increased. When specimens were sintered at the temperature lower than 1100${\circ}C$, water absorption increased and strength decreased with fly ash content. In contrast, when sintering was done at the temperature higher than 1150${\circ}C$, water absorption increased with fly ash content similarly but strength was improved.

Ceramic pigments were developed by using 4 kinds of Brass scraps. Each Brass scraps were mixed with same weight-ratio of Husk ash, and fine-ground by Rotate ring mill(RRG-120, Armstech industrial. co. Ltd, Korea) after firing at $900^{\circ}C$, $1000^{\circ}C$ and $1100^{\circ}C$. As a result, analysis of particle size of synthetic pigments by particle size analyser, they are $3{\mu}m$ as average. The resulting pigments were characterized by using XRD, FT-IR, SEM Structure of the crystals are Zn2SiO4,, and ZnO, Cu2O, CuO, and cristobalite are existed and particles' shape are plate or needle. As a result of analysis of chemical composition by XRF, synthetic pigments have high SiO2 and CuO content and have SnO2, ZnO and NiO, too. 1wt%, 3wt% and 5wt% pigments were added in each lime glaze, lime-barium glaze and lime-magnesia glaze, and fired at oxidation and reducing atmosphere to figure hue in glazes out. As a result of analysis of color, chroma and brightness by UV, colors of glazes fired at oxidation atmosphere turned into green from sky blue, and colors of glazes fired at reducing atmosphere turned into pink and red.
Recently, It has been reported that the spin sprayed ferite film shows better magnetic properties at high frequeny that the ferrite by co-firing over $800^{\circ}C$ . Besides, there is no limitation to select the substrate materials because it can be processed with relatively low temperature below $100^{\circ}C$. Therefore, we fabricated film inductor as a passive device for DC-DC converter by a use of spin sprayed embedded form was completed by via hole process of pad opening. Saturation magnetization of 0.61 T and real part of permeability of 110 were obtained in Ni-Zn ferrite. In addition, inductance of 1.52 ${\mu}H$, quality factor of 24.3 at 5 MHz were measured with spiral 16 turn inductor. The rated current of inductor was 863 mA.
Each of fuel consumption per hour was measured at the 320 MW and 380 MW generator output while changing mixing ratio of bio fuel oil to 50%, 80% and 100%. Fuel consumption per hour was increased from 11.0% to 20.4% as mixing ratio of bio fuel oil was changed from 50% to 100% at the 320 MW generator output comparing with fuel consumption per hour in case of bunker-C oil single firing. Fuel consumption per hour was also increased from 12.0% to 21.1% as mixing ratio of bio fuel oil was changed from 50% to 100% at the generator output 380 MW. Furthermore, it was confirmed that plant efficiency was decreased as mixing ratio of bio fuel oil was increased from 50% to 100% as a result that plant efficiency was calculated using the measured fuel consumption per hour, the generator output and the gross heating value.
In this paper, investigations of thick film $La_{0.75}Sr_{0.25}Ga_{0.8}Mg_{0.16}Fe_{0.04}O_{3-{\delta}}$ (LSGMF) cells fabricated via spin coating on either NiO-YSZ anode or $La_{0.7}Sr_{0.3}Ga_{0.6}Fe_{0.4}O_3$ (LSGF) cathode substrates are presented. A La-doped $CeO_2$ (LDC) layer is inserted between NiO-YSZ and LSGMF in order to prevent reactions from occurring during co-firing. For the LSGF cathode-supported cell, no interlayer was required because the components of the cathode are the same as those of LSGMF with the exception of Mg. An LSGMF electrolyte slurry was deposited homogeneously on the porous supports via spin coating. The current-voltage characteristics of the anode and cathode supported LSGMF cells at temperatures between $700^{\circ}C$ and $850^{\circ}C$ are described. The LSGF cathode supported cell demonstrates a theoretical OCV and a power density of ~420 mW $cm^2$ at $800^{\circ}C$, whereas the NiO-YSZ anode supported cell with the LDC interlayer demonstrates a maximum power density of ~350 mW $cm^2$ at $800^{\circ}C$, which decreased more rapidly than the cathode supported cell despite the presence of the LDC interlayer. Potential causes of the degradation at temperatures over $700^{\circ}C$ are also discussed.

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., Ltd. has been recently developing the gas turbine engine using the biogas as fuel. This paper describes the non-reacting and reacting flow analysis of the combustor which is one of the main components in gas turbine engine. Through CFD analysis, investigation has been performed to evaluate the primary factors for aerodynamic design and to predict combustor behaviors during operation with various fuel distribution ratios. The calculation results are compared with rig test data, which reveals that CFD predictions such as pressure loss, air distribution ratio, and recirculation flow are quite reliable. The trend of NO formation was similar with the test, except the low fuel distribution ratio.
