도시형 순환 열차에서 운전 최적제어 시스템에 관한 연구 (A study of the train traffic optimal control system in a circular metro line)

  • This paper is implemented a control algorithm in order to be stable and minimized to entire train traffic system at delayed case. Signal ing system is described wi th algebraic equations given for train headway, Discrete-event simulation principles are reviewed and a demonstration block signaling model using the technique is implemented. Train congestion at station entrance for short headway operation is demonstrated and the propagation of delays along a platform of trains from any imposed delay to the leading train is also shown. A rail way signaling system is by nature a distributed operation with event triggered at discrete intervals. Although the train kinematic variables of position, velocity, and acceleration are continually changing, the changes are triggered when the trains pass over section boundaries and arrive at signals and route switches. This paper deals with linear-mode1ing, stability and optimal control for the traffic on such metro line of the model is reconstructed in order to adapt the circuits. This paper propose optimal control laws wi th state feedback ensuring the stability of the modeled system for circuits. Simulation results show the benefit to be expected from an efficient traffic control. The main results are summarized as follows: 1. In this paper we develop a linear model describing the traffic for both loop lines, two state space equations have been analyzed. The first one is adapted to the situation where a complete nominal time schedule is available while second one is adapted when only the nominal time interval between trains is known, in both cases we show the unstability of the traffic when the proceeding train is delayed following properties, - They are easily implemented at law cost on existing lines. - They ensure the exponetial stability of loop system. 2. These control laws have been tested on a traffic simulation software taking into the non-linearites and the physical constraints on a metro line. By means of simulation, the efficiency of the proposed optimal control laws are shown.

5.8GHz DSRC 방식의 무선통신을 위한 자동차 내비게이션 단말기의 소형 평면배열 안테나 (Compact Planar Array Antenna of a Vehicle Navigator for 5.8GHz DSRC scheme)

  • 본 논문에서는 자동차용 내비게이션(navigation) 단말기에 내장된 DSRC 방식의 5.8GHz 대역 무선통신을 위한 패치 안테나를 설계하고 제작하였다. 폭이 좁고 긴 구조적 특징을 갖는 내비게이션 단말기의 상단면에 장착될 수 있도록 기존에 사용되어왔던 단일 반파장 마이크로스트립 패치안테나를 소형화하였고 배열하였다. 또한 배열을 통해 주행차선 안쪽으로 빔폭을 제한하였고, 소형화에 따른 이득저하를 보상하였다. 제안된 안테나를 시뮬레이션 함으로써 타당성을 검증하였으며, 제작된 안테나는 $18{\times}40{\times}0.8mm^3$ 크기를 갖고, 4dB 축비대역폭이 40MHz인 원형편파특성을 나타낸다. 또한, 6.2dBi 이득과 자동차 진행차선의 횡단면 방향으로 약 70도의 빔 폭이 측정되었다.

원관 내 왕복유동에 따른 열전달특성의 실험적 연구 (Experimental investigation on the heat transfer characteristics of an oscillatory pipe flow)

  • 스터링 또는 VM 사이클 기긱의 열교환기의 구성요소 중 냉각부와 가열부만으로 이루어진 실험장치를 구성하고 벽온도분포와 열전달량을 측정하여 왕복유동주파수와 왕복유동거리비가 열전달에 미치는 영향을 실험하였다. 냉각부와 가열부와 온도차를 일정하게 유지하기 위해서는 왕복유동의 주파수와 왕복유동거리비가 증가함에 따라 열유속이 증가되어야 함을 보였다. 이는 왕복유동의 주파수와 왕복유동거리비가 중감함에 따라 가열부와 냉각부 사이의 열전달, 즉 열교환기 길이 방향으로의 열전달이 증가함을 의미한다. 또한 실험과 1차원 속도가정에 의한 해석이 매우 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 가열부에서 반경방향응로의 유체온도분포를 측정하고 열전달계수를 구하였다. 반경방향 온도분포는 왕복유동주파수가 빨라질수록 포물선형태에서 벗어나 편평한 분포를 보이고 무차원 주파수가 커지고 열교환기 길이가 유체의 왕복거리에 비하여 짧아질수록 반경방향으로의 열전달이 향상되었다. 따라서 가열부에서의 평균 열전달 계수 역시 왕복유동주기와 열교환기가 짧을 때 더 크게 나타났다. 결론적으로 같은 전열면적을 가진다면 짧은 열교환기가 상대적으로 유리하나 왕복주파수가 빨라지는 것은 한주기당 열전달량의 측면에서 오히려 효율을 저하시키는 효과를 가져온다.

Analysis of Stokes flows by Carrera unified formulation

  • One-dimensional (1D) models of incompressible flows, can be of interest for many applications in which fast resolution times are demanded, such as fluid-structure interaction of flows in compliant pipes and hemodynamics. This work proposes a higher-order 1D theory for the flow-field analysis of incompressible, laminar, and viscous fluids in rigid pipes. This methodology is developed in the domain of the Carrera Unified Formulation (CUF), which was first employed in structural mechanics. In the framework of 1D modelling, CUF allows to express the primary variables (i.e., velocity and pressure fields in the case of incompressible flows) as arbitrary expansions of the generalized unknowns, which are functions of the 1D computational domain coordinate. As a consequence, the governing equations can be expressed in terms of fundamental nuclei, which are invariant of the theory approximation order. Several numerical examples are considered for validating this novel methodology, including simple Poiseuille flows in circular pipes and more complex velocity/pressure profiles of Stokes fluids into non-conventional computational domains. The attention is mainly focused on the use of hierarchical McLaurin polynomials as well as piece-wise nonlocal Lagrange expansions of the generalized unknowns across the pipe section. The preliminary results show the great advantages in terms of computational costs of the proposed method. Furthermore, they provide enough confidence for future extensions to more complex fluid-dynamics problems and fluid-structure interaction analysis.

Mechanical performance of sand-lightweight concrete-filled steel tube stub column under axial compression

  • In order to study the axial compression performance of sand-lightweight concrete-filled steel tube (SLCFST) stub columns, three circular SLCFST (C-SLCFST) stub column specimens and three SLCFST square (S-SLCFST) stub column specimens were fabricated and static monotonic axial compression performance testing was carried out, using the volume ratio between river sand and ceramic sand in sand-lightweight concrete (SLC) as a varying parameter. The stress process and failure mode of the specimens were observed, stress-strain curves were obtained and analysed for the specimens, and the ultimate bearing capacity of SLCFST stub column specimens was calculated based on unified strength theory, limit equilibrium theory and superposition theory. The results show that the outer steel tubes of SLCFST stub columns buckled outward, core SLC was crushed, and the damage to the upper parts of the S-SLCFST stub columns was more serious than for C-SLCFST stub columns. Three stages can be identified in the stress-strain curves of SLCFST stub columns: an elastic stage, an elastic-plastic stage and a plastic stage. It is suggested that AIJ-1997, CECS 159:2004 or AIJ-1997, based on superposition theory, can be used to design the ultimate bearing capacity under axial compression for C-SLCFST and S-SLCFST stub columns; for varying replacement ratios of natural river sand, the calculated stress-strain curves for SLCFST stub columns under axial compression show good fitting to the test measure curves.

후퇴익형 형상의 와류발생기가 있는 핀휜 유동의 전열 및 유동 특성 분석에 관한 수치적 연구 (Numerical Study on Heat Transfer and Flow Characteristics of Pin Fin with Swept Airfoil Shape Vortex Generator)

  • 본 연구에서는 터빈 냉각에 널리 사용되는 핀-휜 배열에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구에서 원형 튜브 전방에 익형 와류발생기가 위치하며, 익형 단면 형상은 NACA-9410을 사용하였다. 본 논문에서는 와류 발생기가 있는 핀-휜 배열 유동의 전열 성능과 유동 특성을 수직인 방향으로 변화시키며 기존의 핀-휜 유동과 비교하였다. 레이놀즈수 영역은 6000, 10000 그리고 15000 세 가지를 계산하였다. 전산 해석은 상용 프로그램인 ANSYS v18.0 CFX, 난류 모델은 $k-{\omega}$ SST를 사용하였다. 결과적으로 전열 성능은 최대 5.8% 증가하였고 압력 손실은 1% 미만으로 증가하였다.

Characterization and behaviors of single walled carbon nanotube by equivalent-continuum mechanics approach

  • This paper focuses on two main objectives. The first one is to exploit an energy equivalent model and finite element method to evaluate the equivalent Young's modulus of single walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) at any orientation angle by using tensile test. The calculated Young's modulus is validated with published experimental results. The second target is to exploit the finite element simulation to investigate mechanical buckling and natural frequencies of SWCNTs. Energy equivalent model is presented to describe the atomic bonding interactions and their chemical energy with mechanical structural energies. A Program of Nanotube modeler is used to generate a geometry of SWCNTs structure by defining its chirality angle, overall length of nanotube and bond length between two adjacent nodes. SWCNTs are simulated as a frame like structure; the bonds between each two neighboring atoms are treated as isotropic beam members with a uniform circular cross section. Carbon bonds is simulated as a beam and the atoms as nodes. A finite element model using 3D beam elements is built under the environment of ANSYS MAPDL environment to simulate a tensile test and characterize equivalent Young's modulus of whole CNT structure. Numerical results are presented to show critical buckling loads, axial and transverse natural frequencies of SWCNTs with different orientation angles and lengths. The understanding of mechanical behaviors of CNTs are essential in developing such structures due to their great potential in wide range of engineering applications.

BFRP 보강이 직사각형 단면 철근콘크리트 기둥의 지진거동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of BFRP Wrapping on Seismic Behavior of Rectangular RC Columns)

  • 지진동 하의 구조 시스템에서 기둥은 가장 중요한 구조 요소 중 하나이다. 이러한 관계로, 철근콘크리트(RC) 기둥의 내진 성능에 FRP 보강이 미치는 영행을 평가하기 위하여 광범위한 실험 연구가 이루어졌다. 이 중 상당수는 CFRP 또는 GFRP로 보강된 원형 단면 또는 정사각형 단면의 RC 기둥의 지진 거동에 집중하였다. 단면의 형태가 FRP 보강으로 인한 구속 효과에 영향을 미치기 때문에, 보강 효과와 최종 파괴 패턴이 형상에 따라 상이할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 현무암 섬유를 함유한 BFRP 시트와 복합섬유 패널로 보강한 직사각형 단면을 가진 RC 기둥의 지진 거동을 살펴보기 위하여 반복하중 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과는 보강 효과가 크지 않았음을 보여주는데, BFRP 시트와 복합섬유 패널에 의한 구속 효과의 증가가 미미했음을 의미하며, 이는 기둥 단면 형상에 일부 기인하는 것으로 판단된다.

노후도를 고려한 실크기 원형단면 교각의 내진성능 휨실험 (Seismic-performance Flexural Experiments for Real Scale Piers with Circular Cross-section Considering Aging Effects)

  • 노후 교각은 내진설계가 적용되지 않아 소성힌지구역에 겹침이음이 대다수 존재한다. 철근부식은 철근 단면적 감소 및 겹침이음부의 거동저하를 유발하여 교각의 내진성능을 저하시킨다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 노후교각의 특성에 따라 철근부식, 겹침이음, 내진설계 및 내진 보강 여부를 고려하여 실험체를 설계 및 제작하고 실험을 통해 그 영향을 조사하였다. 실험결과, 겹침이음 또는 철근부식은 변위연성도를 감소시킨다. 내진설계 상세 또는 강판 내진보강을 적용하면 충분한 변위연성도가 확보됨을 확인하였다. 모든 비내진실험체는 소성힌지구역 내의 횡철근 겹침이음부의 풀림으로 인해 주철근 좌굴과 심부콘크리트 압축파쇄가 발생하였다. 내진설계된 실험체는 철근부식에 의한 소성힌지구역 내 횡철근의 단면감소와 갈고리 풀림에 의해 주철근 좌굴 및 심부콘크리트 압축파쇄가 발생하였다.

삼백초와 약모밀의 내부형태 비교 연구 (A Comparative Anatomical Study of Saururus chinensis (Lour.) Baill. and Houttuynia cordata Thunb. (Saururaceae))

  • Objectives : Saururus chinensis and Houttuynia cordata (Saururaceae) are perennial herbs using for medicinal purposes in Korea. The objectives of this study are to compare anatomical key characters between two medicinal plants and to provide fundamental information for the identification of two herbal medicines by using anatomical features. Methods : Cross-sections of root, rhizome, stem, petiole, and leaf for each species were observed in this study. Materials were analyzed through dehydration, paraffin embedding and micro-sectioning, and double staining with Safranin O and Fast-Green FCF. Observations of permanent preparation were conducted using light microscope. Results : S. chinensis and H. cordata were distinguished with anatomical differentiations; Idioblasts with essential oil were scattered in the parenchyma cell of cortex, pith, and phloem of S. chinensis, on the other hand, in H. cordata, idioblasts were distributed ring-shaped in the cortex of the root. S. chinensis had two cycles of vascular bundles in the stem while H. cordata had one cycle. Hypodermis layer was conspicuous in a stem of H. cordata, crystals were observed the only parenchyma in a stem of S. chinensis, and epidermal oil cells were developed in the epidermis of H. cordata. S. chinensis had air cavity at the cortex and pith of the stem. The shape of cross-section was polygonal in the stem of S. chinensis and was circular in the stem of H. cordata. Conclusions : We investigated anatomical study of Korean S. chinensis and H. cordata. To identify two herbal medicines, we considered main anatomical features and provided identification key here.
