논 토양성분(土壤成分)의 용탈(溶脫)에 관(関)한 연구(硏究) -I. 논 토양성분(土壤成分)의 용탈(容脫)에 미치는 가리염(加里塩)의 영향(影響) (Studies on the Leaching Constituent of Submerged Soil -I. Effects of Potassium Salts on Leaching of Minerals in Submerged Soil)

  • 가리염(加里塩)을 달리하여 투수조건하(透水条件下)에서 수도(水稻)를 재배(栽培)할때 논토양(土壤)에서 투수중(透水中)에 용탈(溶脫)되는 성분변화(成分変化)를 분석검토(分析検討)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 침투수(浸透水)의 pH는 염화(塩化)칼리구(区)가 황산(黃酸)칼리구(区)보다 약간 높았다. 석회(石灰), 마그네시움, 칼리, 암모니움과 같은 양(陽)이온의 용탈(溶脫)은 염화(塩化)칼리구(区)가 황산(黃酸)칼리구(区)보다 용탈(溶脫)이 약간 높았다. 인산(燐酸)의 용탈(溶脫)은 반대(反対)로 황산(黃酸)칼리구(区)가 염화(塩化)칼리구(区)보다 약간 용탈(溶脫)이 많았다. 철(鉄)의 용탈(溶脫)은 재배구(栽培区)가 높고 규산(硅酸)의 용탈(溶脫)은 무재배구(無栽培区)가 높았으나, 철(鉄), 규산(硅酸)의 용탈(溶脫)에 미치는 칼리염(塩)의 영향(影響)은 뚜렷하지 않았다.

Inhibition of nicotine-induced Streptococcus mutans biofilm formation by salts solutions intended for mouthrinses

  • Objectives: Biofilm formation is critical to dental caries initiation and development. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of nicotine exposure on Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans) biofilm formation concomitantly with the inhibitory effects of sodium chloride (NaCl), potassium chloride (KCl) and potassium iodide (KI) salts. This study examined bacterial growth with varying concentrations of NaCl, KCl, and KI salts and nicotine levels consistent with primary levels of nicotine exposure. Materials and Methods: A preliminary screening experiment was performed to investigate the appropriate concentrations of NaCl, KCl, and KI to use with nicotine. With the data, a S. mutans biofilm growth assay was conducted using nicotine (0-32 mg/mL) in Tryptic Soy broth supplemented with 1% sucrose with and without 0.45 M of NaCl, 0.23 M of KCl, and 0.113 M of KI. The biofilm was stained with crystal violet dye and the absorbance measured to determine biofilm formation. Results: The presence of 0.45 M of NaCl, 0.23 M of KCl, and 0.113 M of KI significantly inhibited (p < 0.05) nicotine-induced S. mutans biofilm formation by 52%, 79.7%, and 64.1%, respectively. Conclusions: The results provide additional evidence regarding the biofilm-enhancing effects of nicotine and demonstrate the inhibitory influence of these salts in reducing the nicotine-induced biofilm formation. A short-term exposure to these salts may inhibit S. mutans biofilm formation.

멸치젓 숙성중 불휘발성아민의 함량 변화 (Change of Nonvolatile Amines During Fermentation of Anchovy)

  • 멸치를 물로 씻은 후 식염 10%, 15%, 20% 및 식염과 염화칼리 1:1 홈합염 10%를 각기 첨가하여 1~12주간 숙성할 때 불휘발성 아민의 함량과 미생물의 변화와 시중에 유통중인 멸치젓의 불휘발성아민 함량을 조사하였다. 불휘발성아민은 식염농도가 높을수록 생성량이 적었고 숙성기간별 생성량은 histamine의 경우 숙성 초기부터 증가하여 6주째에 식염 10%, 멸치젓이 657.8ppm으로 최고치를 나타낸 후 감소하기 시작하여 숙성 12주째는 식염 20%, 멸치젓이 210.8ppm으로 가장 적었고 혼합염 10% 멸치젓이 310.8ppm으로 가장 많이 생성되었다. Cadaverine과 putrescine은 숙성 8주째까지 생성량이 증가한 후 점차적으로 줄어들었고 tyramine은 숙성 10주째까지 RPthrwmd가한 뒤 숙성 12주째 현저히 감소하였다. 시중 유통품과 식염 함량이 비슷한 20% 멸치젓의 12주째 실험결과를 비교하면 시중 유통품의 불휘발성 아민 함량이 전반적으로 높게 나타났다. 미생물의 변화는 숙성 초기에는 Achromobacter 속, Aeromonas 속 및 Pseudomonas속이, 숙성 중기에는 Pediococcus속 , Microc....us 속 및 Lactobacillus 속이 많았으며 숙성 후기에는 Sacchromyces 속이 증가하였고 전 숙성기간 동안 미생물은 109주가 분리되었다.

  • Recently, the deterioration of reinforced concrete structures, primarily due to corrosion of steel reinforcement, has become a major concern. Chloride-induced deterioration is the most important deterioration phenomenon in reinforced concrete structures in harsh environments. For the realistic prediction of chloride penetration into concrete, a mathematical model was developed in which the effects of diffusion, chloride binding and convection due to water movement can be taken into account. The aim of this research was to reach a better understanding on the physical mechanisms underlying the deterioration process of reinforced concrete associated with chloride-induced corrosion and to propose a reliable method for estimating these effects. Chloride concentrations coming from de-icing salts are significantly influenced by the exposure conditions such as salt usage, ambient temperature and repeated wet-dry cycles.

탄산칼슘 생성 균주의 분리 및 다양한 칼슘원에 따른 토양 고결화 (Isolation of Calcite Forming Bacteria and Soil Bio-consolidation with Various Calcium Salts)

  • The physical method used to prevent a landslide has the risk of environmental pollution. Calcite forming bacteria (CFB) have been received increasing attention as a novel and environmental friendly strategy for the soil improvement. In this study, we selected 11 CFB strains with high calcite production. We also examined survivability and calcite productivity of the strains under various stress conditions to select strains with high resistance to various stresses. Two strains was selected by environment stress. Sphingobacterium sp. KJ-32 and Viridibacillus arenosi B-25 precipitate calcite more than other strains at pH 5 and $15^{\circ}C$ respectively. Bio-consolidated soil cakes were made using various calcium salts (calcium chloride, calcium acetate, calcium lactate, calcium gluconate) with mixed culture of 2 strains. Among them, the calcite made using calcium chloride was the largest. These observations demonstrate that this bio-consolidation technology has the potential for eco-friendly prevention of landslide and soil improvement.

고견뢰도 및 고흡진율 특성의 금속 착염 염료의 개발 (Development of Metal Complex Dyestuffs with High Fastness and High Adsorption)

  • Diazotization of 2-Amino-5-nitrophenol was Synthesized by the direct diazotization method. The diazonium salts are usually stabilized in the from of double salts. The double salts of zinc chloride are the Commonest, and the double salt method is Specially applicable to the yield-up of coupling. The azo dye(2-naphthol-1-(2'-diazo-5'-nitrophenol)) is Converted into a chromium Complex by heating($100^{\circ}C$) with chromic formate, and DMF. The removal of inorganic salts from dyestuffs was performed in DMF solvent. This effect was more pronounced. From these results, It was obtained to liquid dyestuffs of metal complex with High fastness and high adsorption.

금속염화물을 첨가한 루이스산 이온성 액체 촉매를 이용한 대두유로부터 바이오디젤 합성 (Synthesis of Biodiesel from Soybean Oil Using Lewis Acidic Ionic Liquids Containing Metal Chloride Salts)

  • 본 연구에서는 이온성 액체인 염화콜린에 5가지의 금속염화물을 첨가하여 루이스산 이온성 액체 촉매를 제조하고, 이 촉매를 사용하여 대두유로부터 바이오디젤을 합성하였다. 먼저 단독의 금속염화물인 염화주석과 염화아연, 염화알루미늄, 염화철(III), 염화구리(I) 촉매에 대하여 363~423 K 온도 범위에서 에스터 교환 반응의 반응성을 조사하였다. 5가지의 금속염화물 중 염화주석이 우수한 촉매 활성을 나타내었고, 이러한 경향과 같이 5가지의 루이스산 이온성 액체 촉매 중 $[Me_3NC_2H_4OH]Cl-2SnCl_2$의 촉매가 403 K에서 14시간 동안 유지:메탄올:촉매의 몰 비율 1:12:0.9인 조건으로 최대 91.1%의 높은 반응수율을 나타내었다. 단독의 염화주석 촉매와는 달리, $[Me_3NC_2H_4OH]Cl-2SnCl_2$의 촉매는 반응 후 액체-액체 이상계를 형성하여 반응물과 생성물로부터 쉽게 분리할 수 있으며, 5회 이상 재사용 후에도 활성이 거의 감소하지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 촉매의 수분에 대해 안정성과 강한 루이스 산성도의 특성에 기인한 것으로 생각된다. 또한 촉매에 대한 반응시간과 촉매 및 메탄올 몰 비율 등의 반응변수들에 대한 영향이 조사되었다.

Neutron irradiation of alloy N and 316L stainless steel in contact with a molten chloride salt

  • Capsules containing NaCl-MgCl2 salt with 316L stainless steel or alloy N samples were irradiated in the Ohio State University Research Reactor for 21 nonconsecutive hours. A custom irradiation vessel was designed for this purpose, and details on its design and construction are given. Stainless steel samples that were irradiated during exposure had less corrosive attack than samples exposed to the same conditions without irradiation. Alloy N samples showed no significant effect of irradiation. This work shows a method for conducting in-reactor irradiation-corrosion experiments in static molten salts and presents preliminary data showing that neutron irradiation may decelerate corrosion of alloys in molten chloride salts.

Recovery of Sodium Sulfate from Farm Dyainage Salt and Using It in Directive Dyeing of Cotton

  • Agricultural drainage salt generated during irrigation of crops in San Joaquin Valley, California exceeds 600,000 tons annually and cumulates in the field in a rapid rate. As a result, the waste is taking out more farmlands for salt storage and disposal, imposing serious concerns to environment and local agricultural industry. in searching for a potential solution to reduce or eliminate the waste, this research explored feasibility of producing a value-added product, sodium sulfate, from the waste and utilizing the product in textile dyeing. The result indicated that sodium sulfate could be produced the salt and could be purified by a recrystalization method in a temperature range within the highest and lowest daily temperatures in summer in the valley. Re recovered sodium sulfate samples, with purifies ranging from 67% to 99.91, were compard with commercially available sodium sulfate in directive dyeing of cotton fabrics. Direct Yellow 27 and direct Blue 1 had similar exhaustions among Na₂So₄Ⅰ, Na₂So₄Ⅱ, Na₂So₄Ⅲ and V which had similar ratios of sodium sulfate and sodium chloride in recovered salts. Na₂So₄Ⅳ had high exhaustion despite low ratios of sodium sulfate and sodium chloride. In direct Red 80, exhaustion depends more on the ratios of sodium sulfate and sodium chloride than sodium chloride. Na₂SO₄Ⅳ and Na₂SO₄V with high ratios of sodium chloride had more exhaustion than Na₂So₄and Na₂So₄Ⅲ with low ratios of sodium chloride. Generally, directive dyeing using recovered salts from farm drainage has similar or more excellent exhaustion than directive dyeing using commercial sodium sulfate.

포스포늄염을 포함하는 가교 고분자의 제조 및 그들의 감습특성 (Preparation and their humidity-sensitive properties of crosslinked polymer containing phosphonium salts)

  • 고습도 또는 결로시 내수성을 지니는 저항형 습도센서를 제조하기 위하여 vinylbenzyl tributyl phosphonium chloride를 포함하는 4원 공중합체를 합성하여 저습도와 고습도 범위에서 측정이 가능한 습도센서용 감습막을 제작하였다. 1,5-dibrompentane과 4차 염화 가교 반응을 통하여 최종 저항형 습도센서를 제작하였다. 감습막은 알루미나 기판에 한 쌍의 금 paste가 인쇄된 전극을 사용하였으며, 감습막은 다양한 비율의 vinylbenzyl tributyl phosphonium chloride, 2-(dimethlamino)ethyl methacrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, 그리고 [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethyl ammonium chloride 등을 이용하여 제조하였다. 감습막은 micro-syringe를 이용하여 도포하였으며 건조 oven에서 50℃에서 6시간 동안 가교반응을 진행하였다. 습도센서의 임피던스 특성은 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate 또는 [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethyl ammonium chloride의 함량이 증가할수록 감소하였다. vinylbenzyl tributyl phosphonium chloride / 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate / 2-ethylhexyl acrylate / [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethyl ammonium chloride의 조성비가 4/4/1/1인 공중합체의 경우 30-90%RH 범위에서 2.64 ㏁ - 3.11 ㏀의 임피던스 특성을 보였으며 우수한 직선성과 낮은 히스테리시스 나타내었다.
